I first tried Five Guys while vacationing in New York but it’s my first time in this location. The place is clean and bright, the service was fast and the staff was quite friendly. My family liked the bacon cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms. I ordered a cheese hotdog with grilled mushrooms and onions but it was mostly onions. The fries were ok, the chocolate milkshake was creamy but can use more chocolate.

We tried the fries, bacon cheeseburger and hotdog. The fries were very tasty, I liked the crispiness and flavor. The hotdog was also good. I got my cheeseburger “all the way”, which is with every topping available. It made my burger massive and I enjoyed it. All the toppings are free and you can choose how many you want. I would recommend “all the way” style for those that want the full 5 guys experience. We are definitely coming back to try the milkshakes which they have quite a large selection of.

Traditional Five Guys, did not surprise in anyway. Location is okay, still a bit far from the attraction area, slightly closer to Old Pasadena. Ordered little cheeseburger with french fries and drink. Taste is same as other branches. If you want to eat fast and pay reasonable price, yes I can recommend.

First time at Five Guys. Decor looks like an old burger joint, red and white motif, not too dissimilar from In-N-Out Their burger is good. Very heavy. If McDonald’s tastes mostly like ketchup and pickles, this tastes mostly like melted cheese and thick patty. This is a good thing but be warned you will feel very heavy and sluggish after this meal. Fries are great - skin on cuts, oily but crispy at the same time. Not my favorite among the other major chains but def not bad. Biggest downside is the price. Paying $13 for a fast food burger is a bummer, particularly when for similar prices you can get a gourmet burger at a bar or diner and this includes fries. Not bad for once in a while, but not my go-to.

I’d never been to Five Guys before, I’m a big fan of fast food that’s fast, and if not fast then at least inexpensive….but the drive thru at our usual burger place was around the block and I didn’t want to deal with it. Here’s the thing; the employees were nice, the ingredients were fresh, and there are a lot of cool toppings like grilled mushrooms. The problem is - the bun was cold, the seating area smelled awful (seriously gross) I had to ask for the table to be wiped off when all the tables were empty but dirty. I paid over $80 for 4 of us to eat and not everyone in our group ordered fries and 1 didn’t even get a drink (they only do water). Overall, not horrible but not good. Was it very expensive fast food that took forever, or was it a very mediocre dine-in experience with a crappy dining room? Who knows, I only know I’m not returning.

I've been enjoying Five Guys for the past 15+ years, so I'm disappointed to say that this is my first and only negative experience with this chain. First, there was an odd smell (it's validating to see I'm not the only one who has noticed). Secondly, the beverage dispenser was delivering what amounted to colored water. The machine seemed to need syrup or something. When I mentioned it to the person behind the counter, he just told me to try the other machine. I did, and that too was not functioning properly. It was also odd that many of the flavors were "unavailable" at 11am. There definitely seems to be some upkeep/maintenance issues at this location (maybe that can account for the smell?). Well, after mentioning that the second machine wasn't working and getting nothing but blank looks and shrugged shoulders, I asked them to refund my $3+ for the medium tinted-water that I was holding. The manager comes out to issue a refund and I mentioned that I would have been satisfied with someone fixing the machine so that I could enjoy a cold Dr. Pepper with my $26 burger and fries. She conjured up her best fake smile and said "I understand." Clearly, she didn't understand that a little customer service goes a long way. I definitely won't be returning to this location. Especially when you can get a better burger at Lucky Boy for $16. And they understand what good customer service is!

I had a very strange experience here.... You should always listen to your gut. I came in on 9/2/2025 at around 11:30 AM and ordered a burger. I ate my order, then headed to the restroom to wash my hands. When I opened the door, I CUT MY HAND on the door's sheet metal - because the sheet metal's edge is pointed up by the door handle. This is a sharp edge. If you look at the pictures that I posted, you can see exactly what I’m talking about. This completely freaked me out. To make it worse, when I inspected the door, I could see what seemed to be blood. Here is the weird part: i don’t think it was my blood; the pattern on the door was not consistent with my wound - it was so strange, and is honestly giving me awful thoughts. To add insult to injury, the burger was not good - both buns were very soggy. I’m not even sure how that could be because I grabbed the burger as soon as it came out. A few hours later, around 3:30 PM, I started getting a stomachache and having to go to the bathroom repeatedly. (Sorry for the TMI) When I walked into this place, I distinctly remember the little voice in my head saying,” Don’t eat here, it seems off, go next door to Mendocino”.... But I figured, I’m already here and haven’t tried this before. That was a mistake. It was a terrible experience, and I will never eat at a Five Guys again.

I tried to like this place but honestly the times I’ve gone which has only been twice I’ve had a bad experience. I walked in and right away was a funky smell in the restaurant. When it was time to serve my drinks the machine area was gross and sticky all over the floor. I tried to bypass all that and still when I took a sip of my soda had no flavor. I really hope they can work on their cleanliness. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back.

First time in Pasadena, I was unaware of the "Classic Combo" deal and it was not explained properly and clearly to me. I ended up ordering separate items and paying 7$ more than I should have, quite annoying and poor communication.
