Probably the best pizza I ever ate in my life! The first time on my trip to Mantova I tried the quattro formaggi and a pizza with olives and onions (forgot the name). I was so in love that I decided to come back to Mantova on my travels in Italy only for this pizza. Second time I tried the vegetariana and greca pizza. Equally exciting! I'm afraid I can never eat pizza again if it's not Croce Bianca's. Prices are also very reasonable, staff super nice and the location central but off the tourist masses.
Macheroncini di stracotto, risotto mantovana, sbrisolona (traditional Mantova dessert with pastry almonds) and the slow cooked stracotto was all absolutely great!!! Loved the meat dish especially, very flavorful, authentic and soft. Worth the price. Great wine too. The tortelli di zucca is quite sweet so keep that in mind if you're ordering that! Very impressed with the service, too. Thank you! Reasonable prices + authentic! 👌🏼
This place has the best pizza in mantova. The homemade sauce and dough are perfect. What really sets this place apart for me though is the waitstaff. They are courteous, knowledgeable, and very efficient every visit.
Enjoyed a delicious meal. Started with the grilled radicchio with cheese followed by the purple gnocci with pumpkin and grilled pancetta. The other pasta was with wild boar. Last up for dessert was pannacotta.. everything was excellent. The service was great, too. 👍🏽 I’ll be back
We came here because the osteria that we were looking for was fully booked, but that was a good experience: good pizza with a lot of "companatico", excellent pumpkin gnocchi with Gorgonzola. The tortelli were also very good. Nice surprise with a very smiling and efficient service.
Sweet little pizzeria with a beautiful and FREE bathroom. Pizzas were fun. Service very good. Have the lemon cello!
