Years ago we had a Sonic over off Shaver. I must say that it is great to have a local Sonic again. The food and drinks are wonderful and its nice to see the drive-in experience still around and going strong.
We always get our drinks at Sonic. They have great iced tea, slushes, and limeades. Service at this location was fast and friendly.
Carhops are so sweet and the food was great!
This location has really good customer service. I ordered using the drive-thru and it was an actual drive-thru experience. I did not have to wait long in line nor long to receive my food. Thank you! I am willing to drive out of my way for this experience.
Special thanks to Priscilla for helping me with my order after many attempts to order on the app. She came out to my car to try and help, took my order and had it ready in less than 5 minutes. True meaning of customer service. Thank you again Priscilla
This place had amazing customer service! Shoutout to the manager Amanda she fixed a situation and gave us a discount on our meal. For some reason our order got lost in the cue and we waited a bit longer then usual, but to have the manager to come out to our vehicle and make a point to address the situation and be fully transparent and honest I find is very commendable. I used to work in fast food and understand unfortunate things happen. Sadly this evening it was around the same time a gentleman came through the drive thru drunk and irate so shout out to ALL these ladies for making my night and hooking it up with my Oreo cheesecake shake! Stay Blessed! Y’all keep those smiles on your beautiful faces, y’all are doing a great job!
I really liked it here! Been here 4 times since they opened they never disappoint. Great service. So far everyone is nice. And actually like there job. Everything is fresh. & They even have workers come out with a tray of condiments asking Everyone in there vechiles if they need anything else. I'm glad they opened this one the one on Fairmont sucks!
Great food great drinks for a late night snack from Sonic
Employee Rosemary made it her responsibility to come out to the car and make sure she had my order correct! We are passing through the Pasadena area and her hospitality was very welcoming… crazy being that it’s only sonic!! Great job and thank you oh and Carlos was great as well! He brought the food lol

I really love this location and the food is always fresh and tasty. I would just like the lady who takes the orders to be a little more patient and not over talk me when we’re trying to place the order. I know how to order but she started asking questions before I could say the anything. Other than that great experience.
Best bet is to order ahead on the app. What's that? You don't want to have an app for every fast food place you go to? Ok. Just be prepared to be misunderstood and "what's that" 'd at the microphone 5 times then a quick pretend to understand only to receive the wrong stuff. Don't get me wrong the folks are incredibly nice here, but accuracy and comprehension is lacking. Maybe get the app, maybe stop ordering fast food, maybe find a different Sonic, maybe...

It's been a long time since we've had a sonic in SoHo and this location is pretty good. They need to work on accuracy but for the most part they're good and relatively fast. I've only ever used the mobile app to order. I plan to return in the near future for another cherry limeade!

Ordered different things, only got 1 ranch dressing for my fried pickles, jalapeños bombers, and chicken bites, asked if they had added ketchup to my bag which she said yes, got to work and no ketchup, napkins my drink was flat

Went the other night to get dinner and I asked for number six which is a double cheeseburger and a footlong Coney dog and they got the order wrong. Two different times. There needs to be a better supervision over the employees.
The order took like 25 minutes was wrong and cold, not a good choice of dinner this evening. Aside from the guy bringing us our food this evening, I think he was doing what he could to keep the customer's happy.
I asked for a sonic cheeseburger plain meat and cheese only. Drive thru girl: a number 4 meat and cheese only ypur total is.....insaid ma'am I ordered a sonic cheeseburger meat and cheese only. Burger only not the meal not the double. She then repeats my order exactly then proceeds to hand me this. No time to go back because I had to eat on my way to work.

Waiting for more then 30 minutes so far for an order of 55.00.. order tracker went off which means car hop clocked order without ever bringing it out to us.. which is against policy for sonic drive inn.. I was a manager for 2 years so I know better..
It's OK, fast service but too fast ordered 3 footlong hotdogs with chili, cheese, onions and mustard. They came out half right. Missing mustard and onions. Oh well. No one quite listens anymore.
Crazy! Ordered & paid with debit card. When the carhop came out she said payment didn't go thru. She said no receipt was printed so it wasnt paid for. We didn't have cash so she took the card. We check our debit card online & sonic payment was there. I got out went to door, She looked at me and went to printer & got the receipt. So she didn't get to run the card again. Good thing I didn't have cash. Something fishy!!!
Just wanted a quick snack so I pulled into the Sonic Drive-In. There was only one car in their parking lot at 2:45 in the afternoon so they were not busy. I ordered a medium chili cheese tater tots and a corn dog. The order was brought out probably within 2 minutes, and I'm all for "Speedy service", but the corn dog tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a couple of days it was so dry. I would have rather waited five to seven minutes for something that had been fresh cooked. Considering that there was no one else in the parking lot, I think the food should be cooked and made to order and not something that had been sitting on a heat lamp turning into leather. Just saying....
Wasn't all that today. Service took for ever but kinda understandable chili dogs were on sale. Also should have take more thane 45 min to get an order. Food wasn't all that figured it would be fresh waiting at the window for about 15 min.
The service at this location is ridiculous. We waited over 50 minutes for our food. Plus they messed up a combo, finally saying they were out of both tator tot & onion rings. Drinks were brought to us without a drink carrier and when we asked for one it took 15 minutes to bring back our drinks. Once we received everything, instead of apologizing for the mix up we were asked " Is that everything?" I attempted to contact the number I was given. No callback. I have learned to only do business with the Fairmount and RedBluff locations. The Sonic at Befort and Telephone Rd is very good as well.
Looks nice but that's it. First instance was with a wrong order or somebody else's, Crew always in a sour mood, nobody can hear orders right or care to correct it when repeating the order. This time couldn't even get a lemonade slush 😮💨. Got a slush with lemon flavor added to it 🤢
One one carhop with a headset taking orders poor girl Ann was her name . Ordered two large ocean waters and medium blue raspberry slush which are easy to make . But also got a large pickle fry and not worth the size . Reference to the picture
Service was good but I was disappointed in the Chocolate Chunk Brownie Blast- there was not much of the toppings.

Ordered The Churro Shake. The picture looked delicious. I got the complete opposite. No whipped cream, cherries, and last but not least the f'n Churro! And did not give me all my change back. Very disappointed.... same went for the Strawberry Shake! *Do not Rip customers off its bad business*
Our online order for pickup was not ready after an hour's wait; therefore, I cannot recommend this establishment.

It was super slow when I arrived, with only two extra car other than mine there. I ordered 3 simple drinks and paid for the order. After waiting a little over than 30 minutes I asked if they had cancelled my order. They let me know that there were no orders at the time and they still charged my card.
They act like their dipping sauce is gold. We ordered 3 items, all people involved wanted ranch. App let us get 5, no biggie. Get the food, they only put 2. When we asked for more they said the app doesn't charge for it, and its not free. Okay, as the consumer, I don't see how that is my problem. We asked if we could buy some ranch then, since it wasn't free. Was told no. How ridiculous, you wont give it to us for free, and you wont sell it to us either? I am absolutely dumbfounded at the lack of common sense here. There are 3 items. Is the expectation then, that people have to share a dipping sauce? Why do you even stock dipping sauce, if it isn't purchasable, and it isn't free.
Wish I could rate more stars, I love Sonic. But this past time was absolutely terrible. Did an online order for a few things. When we get the order, the mozzarella sticks are missing! So we go back around to get them. First they attempt to charge us. Then we look at the rest of our order. No cherries in the cherry lime aid slushes. I paid extra for nerds, none of those. And no syrup for the French toast sticks. And at this point I’d already been around for the missing mozz sticks, I wasn’t going around again seeing as I only saw this after I’d gotten home. No cherries, no mozz sticks, no nerds, and no syrup??? That’s more than a simple mistake.

Very poor service from them tonight well before they closed. Very skimpy on the chocolate brownie chunks and Reese's cups in the sonic blasts my uncle ordered for us. Mainly just got served the ice cream very little of the ingredients that I mentioned already. We've gotten better than that before from this location it just seems today the employees were lazy and rude and didn't want to add the ingredients in the sonic blasts ice creams that we ordered. I only had like three pieces of the brownies in mine and my uncle only had maybe four pieces of Reese's in his. And he even asked for extra chocolate in both of ours and barely got that. Not very happy with this. Do better!!
Just went to order some food for me and my husband I order the #2 for my husband his order was good for me I order the # 10 not to happy with my order chicken strips where hard and dried my tater tots where warm not even hot it would had been grate if my food was hot also the young lady that took my order had an attitude. So probably won't be returning to this sonic at all
I placed an order through door dash 30 minutes before the store closed. It showed my order was being prepared the driver arrived to pick up my order, and was told my card didn't go through on the app, and they were now closed. Which was a lie! Now I have no food and have to wait 5 days to receive my money back. This is not the first time Sonic does this to me, so I don't know why I keep bothering to order from them. I definitely won't be doing it ever again!!
This used to be my go-to sonic, but not anymore. I ordered my mom an oreo cheesecake mastershake only for it to be warm and SPOILED like it had been sitting out for a long while before being served! Edit: 3/11/2025 I decided to give them another shot and was disappointed yet again. They were nice enough to remake my milkshake for me because it was spoiled and warm, only for this one to be cold but still tasted so bad. 😞 The slushies and limeades are pretty good, but the dairy stuff seems to always be bad somehow.

Employees did a bad job, we ordered 1 strawberry blast and a Reese’s blast. We got just two empty ice cream mix with no flavor added at all! So disappointed at this location!
I ordered 2 large sweet teas and 1 route 44 sweet tea, when I got my tea they were not sweet so I asked them to replace the 2 large with a coke and a root beer . They refused to give me large and only offered me a small replacement for the poor quality of tea. This is not the first time I have received poor quality at this location!
Poor customer service definitely do not recommend going here. When I went through the drive there the lady taking my order was very rude. I got a strawberry sundae it was completely melted when I asked if I could have it remade they told me no and proceeded to talk and laugh.

Update 2/5/25 I dont know why this place is so sloppy like everytime it gets worse and worse I just snot going to come back again Oct 13,2024 they getting pretty sloppy then they dont give no ketchup for frys unless you ask them littlw to no ice in drink i think ill be going to Fairmont sonic for now on this one is definitely sloppy last update 🙃 It was good wen they first open now nah the hotdogs never have enough chili or cheese the sonic blast sux litterly only ice cream no oreos Always satisfied super friendly and nice staff always smiling and so happy love coming
Went to this Sonic to get my wife and child a snack for after school I ordered food and as I was driving up the the drive thru window the person taking the order came barging up to my car to the point I had to stop and see what she needed. JUST for her to say "I was trying to tell you your order total was $15.00" and continued to roll her eyes then walk away. Thinking okay maybe I'm overreacting but then as I'm getting our food my wife asks for ketchup and she runs to the window and swings it open abruptly saying "there is 4 ketchups packs in the bag" and after going back and forth about there not being any ketchup the young man that originally handed us our order gave us some ketchup finally and we were able to go on our way. Needless to say we will not be returning to this Sonic location and as if it wasn't bad enough when we made it home we noticed there wasn't any cherries in our cherry limeades.
Went to sonic and order two blast one Oreo the other one truffle nut both in size medium. Not blended correctly all the candy was on the top. Not busy at all. Only car in drive tru.
