My wife and I stopped here on a whim. The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly. The spot is clean and located right next to public parking. We'll be back whenever we're in the area.
Kenya was beyond lovely. Gangnam roll was exquisite. Great atmosphere.
Stopped for late lunch. Great sushi. Great service. Had the yellowtail sashimi and Gangnam roll.
This is an amazing place! Great thick cuts of sashimi, reasonable price for the quality
This is one of my regular spots. I’m a salmon lover, and there are plenty of tasty options on the menu. I love their new later hours too. Only complaint is the price is a tad much, but so are most other good sushi restaurants.
Cute little corner sushi place! Came here for lunch for the first time and the servers were attentive and friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back, thank you for a great first experience :)
Impressed by the flavor of their rolls and the freshness of their fishes! We ordered Hamachi collar as appetizer. A spicy tuna Hand roll, Sushi combo A, and my favorite Lemon Salmon Roll and the truffle delight roll! The chef was SUPER nice and welcoming!! He served us some house made fruit shouju, we had a fantastic night there☺️✨
I swung by here for an early dinner/late lunch birthday treat. They have the cutest high tops (which I love), and I could tell straight away that my meal was going to be quality by the soy sauce on the tables. I ordered the garlic edamame (someone had a rave review) and they were BOMB, real garlic, warm and a bit salty. My main was the blue fin tuna sashimi and it tasted fresh and light. I liked the wasabi like topping (not sure what exactly it was, maybe a chopped up green pepper with a wasabi oil mix? Like a chutney consistency). The staff were sweet and got out of me that it was my birthday so they brought out a surprise green tea and strawberry mochi with a lit candle. The couple next to me got ramen so I’ll definitely come back to try more on the menu!
LOVE this sushi spot! The staff is so friendly (specifically two girls, one her name starts with a T and another girl with a pixie cut, please give them a shoutout) and the food is delicious, the sushi literally melts in your mouth it's so yummy. Definitely my new go-to place in Pasadena.
Let me put you on some game! Wow! Ok SushiGah! The Mexi-roll and the 911-roll were outstanding. The chicken teriyaki was Meh. But the staff was cool ( not pretentious) super down to earth, they actually had personalities but they were professionals. Great spot to chill and people watch too.
Very fresh and tasty sushi and bento box. Blue fin tuna was super. Our server was always nearby but never in our faces. We'd eat here again if we ever return to the area.
I ordered the Hamachi collar, the garlic, edamame, the spicy Ramen soup and yellowtail sashimi. Everything was perfect very fresh. Excellent service. Great taste. Couldn’t ask for more.
Super friendly staff, delicious food, and they know exactly what you need for the kiddos when they’re eating the delicious ramen! All rolls were great and high quality, and The Gangnam roll was my favorite!
Amazing, fresh sushi. My boyfriend got the blooming onion roll which was crazy and I got two “sushi” pieces (their version of nigiri) and a tuna roll and everything was just buttery smooth and perfectly delicious. Not only that, but the entire staff was so kind and humble. They were so sweet to us and seemed to really care. We’re from out of town and felt lucky to have stumbled in here!
Wish I could give more stars ⭐️ Sushi snobs know when the sushi/sashimi is fresh. It has a certain taste. All the fish here had that fresh taste. •seaweed salad- also had that fresh taste! •salmon handroll- 💯 delicious. The server read my mind and recommended the yellowtail... •Yellowtail handroll- 💯 superb. •baked muscles- eel sauce and chives made it savory and sweet, already separated from the shell made it easy to eat. 10/10. •fried calamari- fresh, hot, crispy/chewy. •mochi- 2 sliced pieces of mochi ice cream with whip. Good, small and not too heavy. Best sushi I've had in a while. Mom and pop. Friendly staff. Fast service. Worth the price. Notes: wheelchair accessible through the side entrance
Love the food! Everything was delicious. Fish was Fresh. Definitely recommend and definitely coming back. Small, cozy place
Came based off the reviews and wasn’t disappointed! Solo diner on a Sunday late afternoon and the place was busy! Got a great table and had mixed tempura, Philadelphia roll and coconut roll. All of which was super delicious. I took half home in a to go box for snacks later. Would highly recommend & be a regular if I was local.
Sushigah is definitely a place worth visiting! I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews because the sushi here is absolutely incredible. The rolls with mango on top are especially outstanding—they are simply amazing! In my opinion, this is the best choice in the area for sushi lovers. The service is pleasant, the atmosphere is cozy, and the freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite. I highly recommend it!
This was the best sushi I had in a while. The Alaskan crab was delicious, so I definitely recommend that. Everything was so good. The one with onion rings on top was probably my favorite.
I looove this place. Hands down, the best in the area and much better than another hyped-up sushi restaurant up the block. When I tried their sushi, it felt like discovering a hidden gem in Pasadena. The freshest fish, amazing flavors, beautiful presentation, friendly staff, great prices, and cozy atmosphere make it definitely a go-to for me.
We were so happy that this place was open until 01:30! Wonderful Sushi & they gave us so much ginger! ♡ We love ♡ ginger! ♡ After the event at the Pasadena Convention Center we came here, sat right away at the bar, & were served very quickly. We used their clean facilities & we're on our way!! Sushi combo 8pc hit just right.
Cute little corner spot! My friend met me for lunch and we looked around the area and decided to check out this spot. It wasn't very busy, but it was also 3 in the afternoon. We sat at the bar stools that looked out the window, so we could people watch. Service was quick and friendly and we both really enjoyed our meals. I got the dragon roll and she got an avocado roll. Both came out quickly and tasted fresh!
Sushi Gah delivers a top-tier sushi experience in Pasadena. The fish is incredibly fresh, expertly sliced, and served with just the right balance of rice and seasoning. I had the omakase and each course felt thoughtfully prepared and full of subtle, refined flavors. The atmosphere is quiet and minimalist, perfect for focusing on the food. Staff are respectful, knowledgeable, and never rushed the experience. Prices are fair for the quality, and it’s clear the chefs take their craft seriously. A must-visit if you appreciate real sushi done right.
This place was on my radar, and I have to say that I was pleased to dine here on a whim. There was a slight hiccup at the beginning, but they tried to fix it and had us leave as happy campers. Overall, the service was good. The food was tasty. And, the restaurant had a cozy ambience. But, I did wish they brought us the appetizer first. Aside from this, we enjoyed our dining experience here.
This place is awesome. We discovered it on a date night, and it was the perfect combo of chill but still nice and delicious. Them we brought our kids back a couple weeks later during the day, and it was great for them, too! Or favorite things here are, in order: 1. Shishito pepper appetizer 2. Yellowtail carpaccio 3. Any sushi 4. Teriyaki chicken 5. Tempura The staff are super nice, and accommodate special requests for veggies instead of rice, and for making sushi for the kids. We felt like the price was good for the quality of food. Street parking, but we found some easily both times further away from Colorado.
Super nice udon and sushi rolls (Gangnam and Salmon rolls) that we ordered. They are seasoned exactly how I wanted. The staff were super friendly and welcoming.
I ate here yesterday along with my mom, uncle and aunt. I ordered the Salomon bento with California roll instead of rice. I liked the server since she was kind, got us extra wasabi and an extra bowl and spoon and water. The music wasn’t too loud and it was enjoyable. The salmon wasn’t too tough and had the right flavor. I loved the salad and veggie tempura.

The service was really good! The food was amazing. Would definitely recommend trying this place. Tay (not quite sure how to spell his name) was very attentive and friendly!! Everyone gave amazing service honestly. The cheese bulgogi, bulgogi ramen, and snow roll were delicious! Cant wait to try more of their food :)
Maybe I’m biased because I own a business down the street but I’ve always had amazing experience here. The edamame is incredible and they have good vegetarian options. Staff is always lovely. Happy to have them in the neighborhood.
This place is legit. Super nice fish served at the right temp. The quality/cuts of fish are up there with the best of them. They take care in what they do and know who they are. Service is very attentive and caring. Sushi chefs always go the extra mile with us and really make us feel welcome, seen and appreciated. The prices are friendly. Love this place. Oh yea, and they are open late!
Loved this place! Appreciated that they were open late afternoon for an early dinner before a concert when most places in the area were closed. Everything was delicious! We had the beef mandoo, spicy tuna roll, garlic edamame, and veggie tempura roll. All of them were so so good! We thought the prices were very reasonable too! The service was excellent too, the staff was so friendly and attentive. The place itself is very cute inside too! Highly recommend

Pleasantly suprised by the restaurant. Very low key atmosphere but cozy. Service was fast and efficient. The menu had a good selection from ramen to bento boxes. Good prices. Great lunch stop.
It’s our first time eating here. The restaurant is steps away from a paid parking structure. We had no reservations and waited only a few minutes for staff to clear a table. Most of the food came out great. The sashimi and rolls were fresh and nicely presented. The garlic edamame and shrimp tempura were flavorful. The seafood udon came with a soy broth that was sadly disappointing. I should try the spicy broth next time. This is a nice place to get a quick bite.

The sauce for the Cheese Bulgogi was too sweet. The Shrimp Tempura Roll was good, and the hand rolls had a very generous portion of fish! Service was very attentive.
I was honestly taken aback by my veggie ramen experience here. Maybe it just wasn’t to my tastes or it was off that day because the other reviews here are really good. It tasted like a plain carton of vegetable broth and there was an ENTIRE raw onion thrown in there. The entire soup tasted like raw onion, no salt, no flavor, just raw onion. (You can see I pulled it out to the side in an attempt to eat it). If I made this at home I’d throw it out. 😭 Just because it’s vegetarian doesn’t mean it can’t be flavorful! The veggie tempura on the other hand was really yummy and the sushi is just okay. Thick cuts of fish and not super fresh tasting. I went on a Tuesday at dinner time. Total miss for me, sorry!!
