A truly elegant, warm, and celebratory night—Parisian charm with New York energy. Highly recommended! What an incredible “Paris-in-New-York” experience! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported by the soft lighting, beautiful décor, and chic furniture, all while keeping a subtle New York edge with soaring 10-foot ceilings. The menu is pure French cuisine at its best—every dish perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Service was outstanding: gracious servers speaking French made us feel like we were dining on the Left Bank. A live jazz band added to the magic, creating a festive, happy atmosphere. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday, and the chef and team surprised us with a sparkling cake, making the evening unforgettable.

One of the best steak frites I’ve ever had in my life. The service is personal, attentive, and of high quality just like the ingredients and flavors in all the dishes. Very much enjoyed the crème brûlée and chocolate mousse as well.

Had an incredible meal at Paris Cafe! You can taste the love for authentic French food. The appetizers were amazing and the whole roasted chicken was one of the most tender pieces of chicken I've eaten in a long time. The fact that they were able to combine it with the classic mashed potatoes made it even better. Quality ingredients throughout – you can definitely taste the difference. Live jazz in the background combined with the amazing design set the perfect vibe. Highly recommend making a reservation!

Our evening at Paris Café, nestled within the historic landmark building at 119 South Street, New York, NY 10038, was nothing short of exceptional. We attended their Wednesday jazz night, and the atmosphere was a seamless blend of intimacy and elegance. The live jazz provided a refined backdrop—smooth, soulful, and impeccably curated—perfectly complementing the timeless charm of the space. The culinary experience was equally exquisite. We began with the silky, perfectly seasoned foie gras, which melted effortlessly on the palate, and the delicately prepared escargots, bathed in a fragrant garlic-parsley butter that was both indulgent and balanced. For our mains, the steak frites au poivre was succulent and impeccably cooked, with a velvety peppercorn sauce that elevated every bite, while the poulet fermier showcased tender, farm-fresh chicken infused with delicate herbs, a dish that felt both rustic and refined. To conclude, La Révolution was a masterpiece of French pastry craftsmanship—rich, beautifully plated, and the perfect finale to an extraordinary meal. The service matched the caliber of the cuisine—attentive yet unobtrusive, with every detail handled gracefully. From start to finish, the evening felt thoughtfully curated, making Paris Café not just a restaurant, but a destination for those who appreciate culinary artistry, historic charm, and sophisticated ambiance. Love a restaurant that serves fresh baked crispy bread for free with butter and garlic sauce to start off your meal. Because they make their bread fresh in-house, you'll have to try their chicken sandwich. The bun is so soft and made fresh daily. Also, the chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with a thick cut of white meat. The seafood linguine was good too. Seafood was cooked just right, scallop was very sweet and fresh, and the sauce was a good balance of flavor with the linguine.

The staff was so kind!! They came out with a sparkler and a beautiful dessert for my birthday! The drinks were so well made and well balanced. You can really tell the bartender knows what they're doing! Their new manager is from Barcelona and really made a point to make sure we were happy and taken care of. My partner and I will definitely be going back!!

Super delicious food. I’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. This time I had the Steak Frites which was amazing. The salmon was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The staff raves about it and rightfully so. The mash potatoes side must try! Service was amazing and it was a very beautiful atmosphere.

One of the oldest, if not the oldest, running bar in NYC (don’t quote me on that but that’s what I was told). They just went under new management and redid the menu. This place is a must try. Great cocktail menu with plenty of options on the regular menu. We had some Atlantic oysters that were super fresh and the grilled bacon to start. Our server recommended the smash burger and the Chicken Paillard. Burger was one of the best I’ve had in the city. The Paillard was incredible. Super light, crispy, and the lemon kick was just what it needed. 10/10 dish. Of course we had to get the mac & cheese as well and it was great. Big fan of this place and will be back soon.

Brought a small pack of kids here for dinner and the verdict: ambiance is classy and chic. Service is great. Food: typical kids fare but lacks an element of a kid’s meal. There is no drink or dessert option for them. This isn’t a diner. Adult menu was delicious. $$$ for a regular working family budget. The details: House bread. Warm. delicious. Appetizers: Calamari. Grilled octopus. Calamari was shareable. Grilled octopus serving was more for a single or pair to share. Main: I should’ve ordered a salad because my main came no veggies. My friends main was breaded chicken under a bed of salad. No starch. My hubbies seafood pasta was delicious. Worth it. The bar section filled up to standing room only. I loved our cozy booth. The kids could convene tightly together. Ambiance was lovely. Definitely a nice place to go on a date and even for families with children.

Friendly service and satisfying seafood. The seafood stew was one of the best I've had in awhile. Considering its location and the atmosphere, it was surprising to see that there wasn't a wait. They messed up our dessert order 3 times though. Solid 4/5 stars
