We go here weekly just for some sweet potato tempura rolls and Teriyaki Salmon with white 🍚 rice. They never fail, it always slaps.

It was absolutely amazing! They have a vibrant setting. Its peaceful, clean, and so affordable. I love it and it wasnt my last visit! I got the avocado roll, shrimp tempura, and crunchy spicy salmon roll. My friend got the crunchy spicy salmon and something else I couldnt remember and of course some saki. I'm a regular me and my girlfriends try to go every Sunday there tai tea is what I live for my fave is the teriyaki salmon or the bento boxes which you have the option of two meats fried or white rice and it comes with 6 California rolls and other sides. Great place for a nice evening out with some friends and family.

Great place!! Food was absolutely amazing, and much better than other Japanese places Pelham and the surrounding towns have to offer (ie: Edo, Yumi). The staff are kind and attentive, the chefs are quite talented, and the overall ambiance is very inviting. They can get crowded on weekends, so a reservation is a good idea for a large group. I definitely recommend it!

Great service and food!! Friends dont like they dont have liquor/mixed drinks but they have a nice assortment of beer, wine and sake. One of my go-to places for great sushu.

My fiancé and I were sick as a dog and got a bunch of miso and clear soups that just warmed us up and hit the spot. I wish they sold it by the liter!

Delicious sushi, best in the area! I love their lunch combo, especially the salmon tempura roll. My only complaints are that their website has not allowed credit card to be filled in for a long time now, and the delivery driver rings your doorbell like 10 times and it’s quite jarring.

Absolutely amazing. The people were so so nice. I ordered pick up it was ready extremely fast. When I got there restaurant was busy and there were many other pick up orders waiting. So seems like a popular place. Only thing is parking is hard. Very busy street. To top it off food was hot and so fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend.

Great sushi in the area! The classics are very good! The special rolls they have are a bit too fancy for my taste. If you are not a big eater, one can easily share the sushi sashimi platter for one. The sake they have is also decent. Note that take out waiting times on Friday and Saturday can be long! Recommend.

The staff here was really nice! We were a party of 7 and they had enough room for us, although I think the max party size is probably 8 people. We stayed for quite a while and they were in no rush to kick us out thankfully, but this could be because we were there for 7 pm. The food was good, the $20 bento was very filling, and the tempura cheesecake was awesome. They don't seem to do anything special for birthday celebrations, though. All around a great experience!

Consistently fantastic food, service and general experience. Business has maintained is quality throughout Covid-19, with indoor dining safe and clean. Americanized Asian cuisine done right. Give it a try! Update: Just more and more good news. The management recently thanked us personally for our business and provided a bottle of sake on the house. That type of service is above and beyond. Now we are weekly customers <3

Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS. The uni was shockingly amazing for such an affordable price. House sushi sandwich and miso eggplant with scallop were a delight. Service is also incredibly attentive and so sweet. Tamago and wild yellowtail sushi were also amazing. Will 1000% be coming back here.

Everyone at Sakura is so nice! They are welcoming and chat with their customers. The rolls are extra large - eight pieces! They welcome children and have cool decor (especially great for squirming kids). Food tastes great. Highly recommend!

Nice restaurant fast lunch. Nice staff. No Japanese gardens or private rooms. Just good sea food and deep-fried banana. This is a really good stop to take out food on your way home after working all day.

The sushi here is absolutely amazing. I've ordered the chef special plate a few times and have been blown away each time. The attention to detail that the chef's put into their work is very noticeable, even something as simple a miso soup was memorable.

First time ordering takeout from Sakura and noticed we were missing a sushi roll but we ate it anyways, and the restaurant called and told us they believed we were missing part of our order, which we were, and offered to deliver it to our house. The person that delivered it didn’t even take the tip I offered. I’ve never had a restaurant call and tell us we missed something AND offer to deliver it. Amazing customer service and amazing food! Highly recommend!!

You would never think this little place would have so much powerful food impact I had so much sushi. It was delicious. Me and my friends enjoyed it so much didn’t think that this place would be something to rave about but it definitely is.

It’s hard to find good sushi and this is some really good sushi. The shrimp tempura and cooked to perfect and the spicy crab roll is not too spice but gives just enough flavor. It’s great to have a place where it’s semi-affordable but worth the splurge every now and then

This was our first time dining here after a glowing recommendation from our friends. We were pleasantly greeted by the waitress. The restaurant is extremely clean and the sushi chefs are diligently preparing the fish in front of you. The decor and ambiance is minimal but relaxing. We need ordered the spicy kani salad, pork gyozas, edamame, teriyaki Salomon bento lunch, and the chicken tempura / pork katsu bento entree. Everything came out quickly, was extremely fresh, and tasty!! We also ordered the Thai ice teas which were delicious. We had such a wonderful experience here that we can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Great Restaurant! I went here late at night and had an oyster roll, lobster roll and Sakura roll with a Thai iced tea. They were all amazing! Customer service was great as well. Everyone was extremely nice! Highly recommend this sushi spot!

The service was excellent although the restaurant is very small maybe 10 or 12 tables. The three waitresses were busy running back and forth servicing the dining customers as well as the takeout orders. That is for the cuisine I found it was well prepared and very tasteful. Food is good but it's a Chinese owned and managed sushi place. The rice is just wrong if you love Japanese sushi.., once you get past that however, the food is clean and fresh. It always has slight funk in the air.....

I love Sakura. Its local, clean and delicious. The Volcano Roll, Soft Shell Crab salad and Shrimp Wonton Soup are my favorites. Saki goes with anything :) The staff is always bright and happy to see us and i have to admit I truly dig the Neon lit water bubble wall.

The good is good but the customer service is horrible when they get something wrong. They never fix it and instead say “eat it it’s good” they didn’t care that I didn’t eat pork or salmon. Which is what they send me instead of vegetable and chicken. It’s a shame because the food is good. They just never fix their mistakes

Sushi is fresh most of the time. Took 1 star because the was a fruit fly hovering over my food. Edited 10/25/2023 Sadly today will be my last day at Sakura. The sushi rolls cannot get any smaller but the prices don't get smaller. The amount of fish is miniscule too. I feel scammed. Farewell Sakura! Sayonara!! Wish you the best.

Food is Good but staff is overworked. They need two more people at least. Only one waitress who also cleans tables and handles the bill. The other takes care of take out orders. I called ahead and was told 20 minutes for take out. Arrived 25 minutes later with six people waiting for their food. Finally left 30 minutes later. Sushi was good.

Whenever I sit down to eat here , the food is very good. Never had an issue with the service or cleanliness. However, everytime (and this last time will be my last) I order for takeout, it feels as though my entire order was outsourced to a run of the mill backroom sushi factory on 3rd street. For one, the food does not taste fresh, the rolls literally fall apart when lifted with chopsticks. Every piece of lettuce in my side salad was browning (threw the whole thing out). The rice is NOT Japanese sushi rice despite what the menu says. The miso soup never misses tho. For the added "pelham tax" I expect a lot better. I'm not sure why it is so different than eating in person. Eating in, I never had an issue here, and I will continue to come here but I won't order takeout again. I usually order from Tomo in yonkers which is cheaper and much higher quality. This was probably my 7th time over the last 2 or 3 years ordering takeout and had the same issues every time. I won't make the mistake again.

The food was super bland to the point I couldn't get myself to eat it. The edamame and sake were good. Didn't have any sushi so I can't speak on that. Everything was really clean and pretty at least.

Nice looking restaurant and polite staff and maybe their sushi is good i don’t know and didn’t try it but the udon soup was tasteless as was the mushroom soup and the sauce for the fried tofu. I’ve had udon countless times and normally love it. It was inedible because it was so bland. Expensive and not worth eating. In fact all the food we got in terms of appetizers were bland and sauces seemed watered down. We sent it back and they made no attempt to rectify or do anything at all to make up for it but instead said no one else complained and gave us our bill. I never ever normally complain but this ended up being a very expensive experience and we left hungry. I won’t go there again!

I have to say I was treated badly. My gf and I stood at the door for 5 minutes and there was nobody before us. The waitress saw us but did nothing. They kept doing their stuff. No greetings, no words. We were left out for 5 minutes and we left. Never been treated rudely like this ever.

Food was tainted and gave me food poisoning. Was up all night vomiting. Called the next day and the manager took no responsibility and went as far as to blame other food I ate. I will not be eating here again and recommend you stay away. Food was mediocre, service terrible, and management a joke.

I tried this place for the first time & I found multiple little hairs in my fried cheesecake. The cheesecake also tasted bad. In my eel sushi roll, all of the pieces of sushi had eel bones in it which is a first because I’ve never had fish bones in my sushi from anywhere else that I’ve ordered from😐

Food is pretty decent, however, was feeling lazy and decided to order out this particular night, (Trans ID 5833 etc so people know I actually ordered) and the food was good the only thing I didn’t like is that it took over an hour to get delivered so it was cold and I had to reheat anyways, as to the reason I’m writing this review, I had originally planned to tip, but because I was given no eta, and I had to call after an hour to know if it is still being delivered I decided to not tip (I know frowned upon but its really up to business to pay a wage ) and the delivery man was surprised I didn’t have a tip and was basically holding my food hostage until I payed up, so he handed me the receipt (payed over the phone with card) to write in a tip as I didn’t have cash on me and then handed me my food, very unprofessional and not worth getting food from here if that’s how you treat people.
