Fantastic atmosphere, excellent food and wonderful service. A+ all around. We had a great dinner with a large group and they were extremely accommodating. The food was delicious (octopus was amazing) and the entire group enjoyed the evening.

A top notch restaurant for when you want fancy food in an amazing setting and don't mind paying for it. Mario was a fantastic waiter and made dinner spectacular. We shared the grill platter of steaks where I enjoyed the local filter the most. That's unusual for me as the first is tender but not usually flavorful. The mac and cheese on the side was good, but mine is better, because it's more like cheese with mac. A small salad would have been appreciated before the meal but it's surprisingly not included. Overall, a nice place to visit once, but with the incredible high prices of the Four Seasons and so many delicious local restaurants within a reasonable drive people with transportation and the time may decide to venture further for dinner.

My wife and I and friends did dinner in the Chefs Garden. It was amazing! The food, the service, the drinks, the wine and the atmosphere where all out of this world. Honestly, it is a must do. Yes, it is pricey but you get what you pay for!

What a fantastic dining experience! Excellent service, great atmosphere, great food well prepared. It is definitely a must visit for dining in the Papagayo area of Costa Rica. An absolute 5 Star experience. Bravo to the staff!!

The only reason I’m not giving a full five stars is that some dishes, while delicious, could have been a bit more adventurous in flavor. However, this is a minor detail in an otherwise exceptional meal. Nemare is a must-visit for anyone staying at the Four Seasons Costa Rica. It’s the perfect spot for a special occasion or simply indulging in a memorable evening of fine dining. Highly recommend!

Me are was great!! My chicken was pretty good, but my husbands ribeye was excellent!! They brought out a variety of salt and sauces with the steak. The steak did not need it, but it was great to have to try and taste it. Great ambiance and staff!!

Enjoyed the cocktails, tuna tartare, and dessert. Steak was overcooked (requested medium rare). Service was solid.

This is supposed to be one of the top hotels in the world. This restaurant is not. Unacceptable experience. I went to dinner here my last night. I originally had a reservation for the day before but somehone at NEMARE had the dates mixed up so I was told to come the day after at 845 pm. I was running late and called they said to hurry that the kitchen closed at 9. I arrived ordered and my appetizers did not arrive until 955 (but somehow the kitchen was closed??). When I arrived I told the hostess my daughter had an allergy to cashews, when I sat down I told the waiter my daughter’s meal is to not have cashews. Our entrees arrived at 1020. She began to eat and under her salmon was a sauce with cashews mixed in. She took one bite felt a cashew and spit it out. My daughter could have went into anaphylactic shock. UNACCEPTABLE experience for such a high class restaurant.

Service poor to fair. Food worse. Steaks tough and not cooked properly. Overpriced. Nice venue.
