Shipley Do-Nuts

I love the lemon filled donuts but lately seems like they are injecting less filling. Wonderful taste

Just like the other Shipley's on 10th street in McAllen. Always great donuts and friendly staff. Nothing to complain about. Come here often.

You can never go wrong with Shipley Do-Nuts....love them😋

We had good food, took awhile before we got it, but nice and hot. The service was ok, the place was clean, will go back in the future.

The doughnuts were great - it’s a Shipley’s! The folks inside were cheerful and nice. I walked in and sat at a small table - this outlet is definitely directed at the drive through. But it was just fine!

I love coming here! The service is great not to mention the donuts! 5 stars to Oneida for always going out her way and making us feel like we are welcomed and valued. The place is clean and charming. I love the donut holes and the ones with filling in them especially the blue berry ones!

Clean and friendly. Good coffee either cold or warm i went for my firdt time and i like the coffee and bread !

Love this place whenever they have apple fritter available, which isn't often by the time I get there. Wish they were 24/hr like the McA location.

I would of given 5 stars because everything hear is delicious but I just hate the idea that the colaches are always out by 7:30 or 8 am if they know they are in hi demand well make more ...

Unfortunately I went an hour before closing time and they had almost nothing to choose from aside from donut holes and a few stragglers. Overall it was good and will return at an earlier time when there is more of a selection.

The pastries are good. But this is a branch site so they do not make them there. With that being the case sometimes they are out of what you want. I did not recommend the kiboshes as they are very small and tasteless.

I was crabing some donuts n I stop at shipley they had some great donuts but they didnt have enough of the one I like so give them a 3 starts

Not a fan, I heard so much about them. We had coffee with a group and had Shipley and Walmart donuts on the same plate. The difference wasn't noticed.

Never had a problem , today my mother just ordered sugar donut holes & they gave her glazed (she dislikes glazed) it wasn’t busy , it was a simple order . It’s just an inconvenience as a customer to even have to return to get the order right

Went at 9 am. On Tuesday they didn't have any cake donuts. Settled on coconut on chocolate, bread was too dry. Donut was not fresh hopefully it was only today.

Worst Shipley Do-Nuts experience ever. I travel and stopped at 9:00 am for a bite. Tasted like a day-old doughnut. I could not recommend this location!

Lack of communication I called 8 am to make sure they received it they said yes. Then they said no around 4:40 pm . Ever again I’m not ordering online

The service at this place is abysmal. The girl at the counter looks completely clueless she was staring off into space as we were placing our order. Her Male coworker wasn't much better, he just stood behind her. The kolaches are all week old bread with a thinly sliced piece of deli ham. The overpriced mango smoothie was a terrible high fructose mess that did not taste like mango or any other fruit for that matter. The iced coffee was decent as it tasted like the kind that comes in a carton from HEB. The donuts were okay. Today's visit was such a disappointment because I remember coming here as a kid and I have such fond memories of this place. I don't know if it is just this location or the whole chain that has gone down in quality, but I really hope they turn this place around.

This is the worst shipley donut place. Ive gone at 11am, 2pm, 3pm 5pm, 6pm and the never have lemon filles or raspberry, or strawberry. Never. They'll have 1 or 2 but they're old and hard. And the chick is just like "oh well, we aint making anymore so what else do i want?"

Old donuts, I called to ask to speak with the manager. No manager in the store. I told the girl that the donuts are old and she told me sorry that's what we have. Do not recommend this place at all. I hate to say that you can get better donuts at a Stripes. It's ridiculous!!!

Owners decided no Christmas tree this year at the store. If they aren’t willing to take a stand on celebrating the birth of Christ, I’m willing to find a new coffee spot. Good luck guys, 1 customer gone.

Horrible customer service drove all the way from Donna for some kolaches and donuts for me and my little girl and she proceeds to tell me with attitude that they only have the one with jalapeños okay fine I look at the menu to see the donuts and she with such an ugly voice says THATS ALL WE HAVE !! like I just wanted to also order some donuts I drove all the way over here and I called and it was the manager that was at the window which makes it even worse no hospitality what so ever I’ll be calling corporate

I felt like the kolache grande is the same as the regular lol mostly bread too. The person forgot my other donut I ordered as well. Coffee is like chocolate milk and not coffee.

She proceeds to take their order and I notice she is giving them all chocolate donuts which at that point I tell her if they had anymore and she replied with "no" I told her that I just needed one for my son who really wanted a chocolate donut and I also told her I had been waiting longer and was there before that car. She just stood there staring at me clearly she knew she didn't go in order. Then I proceeded to tell her I just needed one once again, then she just said "ummmm I already took her order" very rude! In the end I walked out with nothing after wasting my time there waiting. They should really pay more attention in the order the customer gets there.

I usually buy donuts here for my kids and they are good. Today I had the worst blueberry donut ever . It was hard and seemed like it had been left there for days! The young man attending seemed irritated to be there and this is the second time I get him to help me. All he said today was it had been a long day.. i get it but don’t be rude.. i wanted a glazed strawberry donut and he said I don’t have any left ! Like stop asking that man just bought 80 something donuts!! Anywho .. did not enjoy my donut .. wanted to take it back but what was I going to get ..lady I don’t have any donuts!!!! This kid needs to get coached.
