Cosa dicono i clienti di Thirsty's
Thirsty's is a beloved local dive bar known for its friendly atmosphere, great bartenders like Conner, and a surprisingly good beer selection. The outdoor patio is a highlight. It's cash-only but Hungry's next door delivers food.

Incredible food, amazing staff, really fast service.
Local bar local feel .... friendly bartender ...good prices
Nice smalltown bar, cool outdoor area.
Great place, love the grilled food in the summer.
The instant your Divorce is final (or if there's a high school reunion) you end up at Thirsty's.
Best bartenders in rochester
Low key, fun and friendly place to drink!
Great place to watch a game and drink a beer
Bar with the sign on the inside. Good beer and drinks.
Been going there since 1975, great prices.
Great staff, very home-y. A staple in Pittsford.
Same old school atmosphere. Never disappoints..
Don't forget to try Hungry's after you drink up an appetite!!
Cold beer great crowd!
First time ever and not the last👍👍👍for football Sunday✌♥️🏈
There is no better place to go when you return to your hometown!
Oooh man it’s like home even though it’s your first time!!!
My favorite east side dive bar.
Had a great time with family. The gentleman behind the bar was exceptional. One of the best bartenders I've ever encountered.
Nice place, good drinks and nice outdoor area. Good food next door at hungrys, open late.
Fantastic and fun bar! Great service, cheap drinks, and beautiful outdoor patio!
I don't make it to this part of town often but I make it a point to stop at Thirsty's whenever I am in the area. Good, old-school bar with friendly bartenders.
Despite the crowd, bartender was very efficient. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, I will be back!
Best place to find a packed bar on a random night! There will be a party when you get there, and be prepared to participate
Great local spot. Tons of great beers on tap including The Other Half!
I live here. Seriously. It's a townie bar. In the words of some random country music star, I love this bar.
Local fixture of the community. Fantastic service, pizza delivered to sit at the bar, and good beer selection.
Awesome staff. Reasonably priced drinks. Much larger drinks than other bars
It is and always has been a local Tavern. Nothing fancy, just fun.
From Buffalo. Our son is in camp so we had a mini vacation nearby. Thirsty’s has a great beer beer list. We’re IPA people. The outdoor patio is awesome. The staff is supper friendly. The owner, aka chip & pickle guy, is a great guy. Thanks.
Connor is the best bartender and we had the chillest time. Cool bar to hang out in

Conner is by far and away the best bartender in the greater Rochester area. Great service! Thank you for the hospitality!
Nice small place off main street. Good prices and bartender seemed pleasent. Didn't feel any admosity. More a "Cheers bar" to meet friend and enjoy good times with good people . Food next door to Hungry. All in all I will mostly be back!
Solid neighborhood spot, surprisingly good beer selection for such a small place and they always have great monthly specials...no food but Hungry's next door delivers to the barstools 10/12/2 - Now taking cards after being cash-only forever
This building has been home to a tavern for exactly 200 years, since 1824: “Prior to it becoming Thirsty’s in 1971, names/dates included; 1820’s being Warner’s Tavern, 1920’s being Windy’s Town Tavern, 1930’s being Scoop & Hazel and the 1960’s Tallo’s Town Tavern.”
We were passing through on the bike trail and stopped by for a beer. Friendly folks. We were able to eat our lunch from Hungry’s (which is next door) at the bar.
Great vibes inside but the outdoor patio is terrific
The taps are dirty, bar is smokey, and bartenders are surely. That said, this place is an institution and I wouldn't change a thing. Just hold you beer up to the light before you take a sip to make sure it only has beer in it.
Someone else bought my drinks so I can not speak to prices. I will say that there was a nice atmosphere and spacious outside patio area.
Great local bar. It feels good to be back home. I appreciate the service here. Always been good to me. Much better selection of tequila then years past.
Atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Food is delicious! Cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and one of the best I've had in years. Dividers in place and everyone appeared to be wearing masks as required. Even while engaging with customers, the manager, Brent was constantly aware of making sure areas were wiped down and clean. Great food, great time, great staff. TV had Cheers ... Pittsford has Thirsty's.
Great towney dive bar that's really hidden from the public considering there's no sign outside. It's honestly better that way since it creates an awesome vibe to the place unlike the other overcrowded, popular bars in Rochester. Friendly bartenders and the place itself has a great environment. It's definitely one of my favorite bars in Pittsford!
Thirsty's is what every bar aspires to be. Some places have it, but most do not. There's something special about a tavern that welcomes all, with no pretensions allowed or necessary. The patrons and bartenders accept strangers and regulars, remember your name, and will treat you with dignity. The crowd is mind-boggling eclectic and people from all walks of life enter the building with no signage at 8 State Street in Pittsford. I spent an afternoon solo and an evening accompanied by my wife at Thirsty's after flying into Rochester from Milwaukee. By the night's end, I hugged the owner and his wife, met the bartender's dad, and felt like I lived in Pittsford my whole life. Thirsty's has an aura that's impossible to replicate. Go and join the Thirsty's family.

Good burger at lunch time.
Good Service, great staff.
The garbage plate stays with you a while!
Good local bar.
Fun times!
Sunday golf crowd, but not terribly crowded. Went around 4
Just a nice & easy place to stop for a beer.
If you like Towney bars, you will love Thirsty's.
CASH ONLY. There is an ATM bit it has a $2.50 charge...
Awesome place but need bottle beer
Good place
Great dive bar on the heart of Pittsford. They don't serve food but allow you to bring stuff from next door at hungry's.
No frills bar with prompt staff that are polite, a wide range of beer options, and a local/regulars crowd.
Very friendly atmosphere, Nice neighborhood place to hang out and have a drink.
Local hangout. Wide selection of cold drafts. Grill on the patio serving up bar food.
Good place to visit. Nice beer selection, nice patio outback. Nice staff.
Visited this bar because it was my dad's old drinking hole back in the day. Though it still has some old school charm, it's mostly redecorated, and they've brought it a couple of dart boards and a golf game. I only had drinks here, but the bar staff is kind and serves you up pretty quickly. They have a good selection of beers, but most of the crowd was ordering vodka and Fresca. There's some bar seating and there's a large outdoor area in the back with some seating as well. You can smoke out back which is hard to find these days. The crowd here gets pretty wild with a lot of drunk chick's puking. The bathrooms are gross and not very private.
The Pittsford dive bar. Folks playing darts. Everyone smiling and happy. Good selection of drinks. There is some street parking and a medium sized lot.

This is the closest thing we have to a “you gotta be in the know to know about this place”. No signage and no frills. Just a good corner, “dive”’ bar that happens to be open a lot later than everything else around.
A nice lil dive bar in the heart of pittsford. I had Genny cream ale on tap. They brought it in a plastic cup. Staff treated us well. Might have trouble finding it since they have no street sign.

Nice to finally get there.
Perfect dive bar
It wasn't bad. If your looking for a local dive this will fulfill your desire.
Nice neighborhood bar. Darts, jukebox, outdoor patio, nice beer selection. It has always been quite when I am there.
This is a grungy college-type bar. Cash only was inconvenient.
This is a bar. Good for a mixed drink, a beer, or a glass of wine. The best part is the outdoor patio. Nothing notable to eat.

A bar for Pittsford's red necks
Bartender turned music off at 10 pm when they close at 12. They clearly were trying to push people out early. Terrible atmosphere after. Service sucked.
