Panda Express is my favorite place for a quick bite. I dont consider this your typical fast food place. The food is hot, fresh, and ready to serve. Lots of variety and can please your craving. I recommend downloading the app and collecting reward points for purchases. Whether you dine in or take out, you won't be disappointed. I also like their delicious flavored drinks. Now im hungry writing this review and thinking about it. If only I had one closer.
We go here at least one or twice a month due to our busy sports schedule. The food is delicious and always garlicky. Hunter is so nice! Their steamed rice machine wasn’t working recently and instead of giving us gross rice he told us, replaced it with fried rice and comped our egg roles for the inconvenience. Super friendly kid and had a customer is always right attitude! We’ll definitely be back!
I had Honey Walnut Shrimp and Broccoli Beef, a long with 1/2 chow mein and 1/2 rice. It was excellent, the food was delicious, and I thought it was the best ever in my over 100 visits over the years to Panda Express.
Food was fresh, small rush handled well, offered recommendations, asked for rewards and discount apps, very friendly, gladly fulfilled all my requests. Great job! I appreciate your efforts and services provided. Thank you.
This afternoon around 1:15 pm , 1/26/26, I stoped for a late lunch, food was great, very well run place , and very appreciated how nice and polite the ladies were, greating with a happy smile, and thanked me for coming when I left, Thank you. They should get a bonus.

Service was pretty solid. They were out of teriyaki chicken and shrimp and made a large fresh batch decently fast that got many customers including my group out the door quickly. The chow mein was under flavored and the fried rice as well, but the entres were great and the atmosphere was just decent panda express vibes.

I'm not sure why I keep going back to this location. Other than it's the only game in town. The food always seems old or cold. The last time I was here, they appeared to be understaffed. the poor guy at the window, was juggling Three or four positions.
I'm a fan of the chain; however this particular location (Placerville) was different. I thought the rice tasted off, and didn't care for the battered honey walnut shrimp. For the most part, the service was good and the restaurant was clean and tidy.
I got 1 entree ala carte. I needed to get back to bus stop but was very specific that chicken needed extra cuts, small pieces. And I asked for fork and extra napkins. Get back to my bus stop and open food. No fork, no napkins, and meat was big long chunks. Couldn't eat til I got home with a fork and knife. 4 hours later, as I was taking 3 busses to get home. Very disappointed ☹️

When it first opened it was great, but now the food is mediocre. The portions seem to be shrinking everytime we go there now. Tonight we decided to try again and we were disappointed again. We were told to pull around to the front so they could make one of our entrees. We did so and waited and waited. Finally my husband went in and said our food was sitting on the counter getting cold. The woman who pulled up after us and sent to wait had several large cartons and the bag was straining under the weight of them, she received her food promptly and in correct proportions. We never complain just always swear we won’t be back. This time we mean it.
Did an online order at 11:20 am with an est delivery of 12:10. As of 12:40 the food still has not arrived and no one will pick up at the store.
Went in to try and get some food after burning our Xmas eve dinner and the sign on the door said they are open until 7, but the door was locked, and the staff wouldn't even come to the door to tell us and there was no sign saying the dining room was closed. There were two families at the door and staff wouldn't even acknowledge us until we really made efforts to get their attention.
Did a good pickup order. Two large entrees of Honey Sesame and it was almost entirely soggy vegetables and no chicken.

i wouldn’t recommend this location at all.The staff is friendly but the food is kind of old and tasteless i had the worst orange chicken and black pepper chicken.It was seriously tasteless.The black pepper chicken was salty,even the rice was dry.Never going back to this location.
This restaurant is extremely slow and taking orders and preparing food in their drive through. The food at times is dry and over cooked, I don't understand why it takes so long for them to take orders and scoop food into bowls. I've been to this location at least 10 times in the services the same every time
Rice and noodles were cold, not Luke warn, cold. The entrees were fresh, but the portions were skimpy and the one pc of beef was so fatty, I couldn't eat it. I have eaten here in the past and it was terrible. I thought I would give it another try. Big mistake!

What definitely not recommend night crew is disgusting they are licking their fingers while cooking. They are whipping each other with towels end kissing in the kitchen. They have Customers inside their building and lock the door on me and another customer they are literally laughing at us and being really rude. They don’t close until 8pm And had their doors locked at 7:20 then we come in the morning when it says they are open and the guy said they won’t be open for 10 more minutes when they are supposed to be open literally so rude here like I can order and wait since I’m waiting anyways
Order was wrong, food bland, chow mien not worth eating. Not coming back
This place didn't get our order right more did they give us the same portion sizes as they usually do at other ones
Drive through never fails……people are nice but . Always the SMALLEST PORTIONS!… For the AMOUNT we PAY These day’s- What a RIPOFF!. I gave this location in Placerville several chances- all the same. Plus the chow mein noodles were no flavor. I’m gonna sound horrible, but it’s the truth. Next time I will go to an actual Restaurant that will give you more bang for your money - SMH☹️
Food is passable, I can't complain. But the restaurant is incredibly understaffed. Every time I've been here my order has been late by five or more minutes. This particular day, I was driven to make this review by a notably awful experience at this location. I made an order at 9:00 for 9:30pm. On arrival I was locked out of the lobby, although there were other guests inside. And this is fine, I understand that the lobby closes at ~9:30pm. What is not appropriate is when the fry cook and drive thru attendant laugh at paying customers as they attempt to get the attention of staff. I waited for 5 minutes outside to no reaction aside from glares that make me feel like a criminal for wanting my dinner that i paid for. After this point I pull through the drive thru, ready to get a refund and just go home. But, the drive thru attendant is sugary sweet, and I'm willing to forgive, so I don't give her a hard time and she tells me it should only be a couple of minutes. After this, I wait another 15 minutes, watching as they complete every other task in the restaurant. It's only after this do they begin to scoop and fill my order. I leave the restaurant, frustrated, at 9:57. I waited a total of 40 minutes at the store (drove for 17 to get there,) for an order that should have been filled and waiting for me pretty much on arrival. I really do hate to nag people in the service industry and I have not posted many scathing reviews, but today felt exceptionally unfair, and because of this experience I likely will not be returning to this location.
They have messed up my drive through order more than once. On one occasion I drove back through immediately, wax asked if i had a receipt... which the server had not provided. Pushed the issue, got my item which was supposed to have steak and shrimp in if, that i paid more for to have both in it, and got ONE shrimp.
Sometimes good sometimes less than good, I only eat here once every couple months because it’s unpredictable, before when I lived down the hill I ate it once a week because it was always on point , tonight they were out of soy sauce?!?,; how is that even possible, I am sure there is a thousand packets per box and don’t take up too much room, eating out is expensive these days, it should be right every time, like In&Out Burger 💯
They completely messed up our order. Wanted Beijing beef and honey walnut shrimp. Got home and there is no sauce on the honey walnut shrimp and didn't get Beijing beef but instead got orange chicken dry shrimp and super dry chow mein! Never again!
They "open" at 10 am. I came through the drive through at 10:20 and the speaker said "sorry we are closed". The employees looked at me through the window when i pulled up and ignored me. I came through again, and checked that the window sign said they are open. I finally was able to ask An employee and he said "yeah, we are open, but I haven't made any food yet". What a waste of a 20 minute drive to town to get this for my kids.
Have you ever heard of pagpag from the Philippines? Yeah a sloppy undercooked mess. Did they dig this out of the garbage can and charge me $20 bucks for it? If you want to know what's wrong with America, it's being overcharged for slimy slop.
Don't expect your order to be accurate or your plate to even be filled up properly. Horrible service and inadequate ability to give you what you asked for. Waited 10 minutes to get my order wrong definitely don't use the drive through
We have gone twice in the last month and had the same experience both times. If you order ahead and go to pick up your order at the time indicated, plan on waiting a long time and continually reminding them that you were waiting for them to put your order together. It seems like order ahead orders are an after thought. You might even receive an email saying your order is ready two minutes ahead of the time you had expected. Do not believe this, it is untrue. They have not thought about beginning your order. Although the drive through may be moving along and people may be coming in to order and then leaving with food, it takes several requests to get them moving on your order ahead that was "ready," according to email, 30 minutes ago. Each time you politely ask, it's like you just jogged their memory, "Oh yeah! We're making that up now." I would not leave a review like this for one off day. But 2/2 in the last month is pretty sad. They need to fix this. Previously we did not order ahead, we used drive through.
Always problems at this location. Tried to go in and order at 740pm when they close at 8pm and the door was locked. A crazy homeless lady opened the door for me because she wanted to get her stuff from the outside table. As I was coming in the door the employee at the counter told me the lobby was closed but I could use the drive-thru? Then he has the audacity to ask me to close the door all the way so the crazy lady couldnt get back in. Jokes on him. You want to tell me to go through the drive-thru when I'm already inside? I held the door open for the crazy lady and then took my business elsewhere. They are always closing the lobby here for no reason. The times I have been able to get food it's always poor quality. Read the other reviews. Everything is true.
The front staff were rude and short with my wife. The food sucked. I had fried rice that was so hard it hurt my tooth. Like seriously hard as a rock. The lady walked away when we asked for a receipt. The orange chicken was so spicy my wife and kids couldn’t eat it. I like spicy and almost didn’t like it. I won’t be back.

Bowls were half empty because no more left and cashier didn't tell me until Iaskedwhy box was so light. Almost forgot to give me 2nd bowl(waited at window for him to return to inform him it was missing from bag). When I got home the noodles were not even up to correct line...but guessing cuz they were out. 😡😡😡 DESERVE A REFUND BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET MY MONEY'S WORTH WITH HALF EMPTY BOWLS AND SOLD-OUT ITEMS.

The noodles were not very recently prepared. The beef was dry. And I dont really know what was wrong with the Orange chicken, but my son wouldnt even eat it.
My daughter found this worm in her meal, ordered from the drive thru. I have been attempting to follow up with Panda Express for a refund, there is no response to calls/emails. Don't go unless you like bugs in your food and no accountability!

Very bland. Got the string bean chicken and it had no sauce on it. It was just string beans with chicken that’s it. I dont know if they forgot the sauce or what but it was horrible. You can see how dry it is.

One of the newer stores with bad reviews. Im not shocked. I wont be coming to this location again. My goodness the lady skimps, doesn’t even fill the plate. I watched her do it to the three people ahead of me and myself. Now I know don’t come to this panda for lunch, idd much rather hit the one on Madison. Will not be back.
We stopped to get food before heading home and the line was so long. There was no food ready and the entire line waited in the drive thru for 50 minutes. The sesame chicken was soggy, the white rice was crunchy and dry, the honey walnut shrimp was soggy, cold and undercooked, the chow mein was overcooked and none of it had any flavor! By far the worst experience at panda....
