The food was absolutely delicious. The Margaritas were perfect. There's nothing fancy to this place at all. It is just home and I felt at home. This is a whole different culture than mine and I still felt like I was family. I recommend the Chili relleno plate.

Josephine and Veronica catered the chamber event that I attended and the food was absolutely delicious. They had a wide variety of various dishes to choose from and there chips and salsa was fresh and the desserts were magnificent. They were extremely professional and with just the two of them they handled all of the event attendees and their needs with precision . I strongly recommend hiring Josephine and El Sol for your next catering event

This is an amazing spot that all the locals love!! The atmosphere is so real and authentic, I feel like I’m in Mexico :). The people are so friendly & hospitable, and the owner is always there. She is very hard working. The food is amazing & fresh and it’s the only place my picky Mexican mom will eat flautas & more from. Support this place, it’s truly amazing… my family has been eating here since they’ve opened!

Food tasty as usual ! Today I had the two Beef crunchy tacos with rice and beans ! Only thing that would have made it a wonderful experience instead of just a fantastic experience had a heater been on or was a little warmer inside

I love El Sol! I don't know if they're the same owners but I've been going to them for at least the last 15 years if not more. But I was so sad. Today I ordered my usual carnitas burrito and it was nothing but beans and rice and a couple of bites of carnitas. That was so disappointed. Usually it's absolutely amazing!! And on top of only getting a mouthful of beans and rice it was $16. Are times that bad for the restaurant industry? That just makes me sad. I hope you do well in the future because I can't buy just a bunch of beans and rice and a tortilla with a flavor of meat. I love you guys. I hope you do better in the future. This was a real bummer for me.

Burrito was missing the add on I asked for and was charged for. I was questioned if I stole something when I left so I did not feel comfortable going back. I live 3 blocks away and was at the beach all day and was my first food all day and would never steal from the neighborhood I love. Maybe trust regulars, but I can’t be a patron here anymore

I had my cousin order me 2 chicken enchiladas with rice and beans 2 dinners. I paid $10.19 more than I’m usually charged. Then not thinking anything of it . I see the lady put beans in microwave. 3 minutes later I get my order. I get home and I give 1 of the dinners to my daughter. I begin to eat and the beans are hard not cooked all the way. The chicken enchiladas taste watered down no flavor at all. They microwaved the sourcream and it’s horrible as well.My lips are trembling as if I’m having an allergic reaction to something. The dinner taste sour. I’m just going to toss it out. A waste of money and I’m still hungry.

I just came here again for breakfast around 10 AM and the service was extremely slow and also I was overcharged, I just had a coffee with my heuvos rancheros but when I checked out, they charged me for a Mexican hot chocolate, which is a couple dollars more. Not cool! The lady was super shady while ringing me up too, I should have known, she didn't ask if I wanted a receipt or anything. Luckily, I opted to have the receipt emailed to me and only when I got home and looked at the email, did I realize I had been overcharged. I would hesitate to return here now based on this poor service and the error. I really hate it when people take advantage of me just because I don't speak their language and they think they can get away with it or something.

We come here on a regular however today was the last time! Food was not seasoned, and service was rude. Started out with rushing my mom to order and after I spent around$50 we were denied extra salsa for my chips.
