I had the multi grain pancakes with flaxseed, 2 eggs, hash browns and turkey bacon. Food came quickly, was hot and tasted great!. Coffee wS decent too! Server very attentive.

This place has been at this location seemingly forever and is perennially busy. Great freeway-close location in good neighborhood that attracts families and decent diners. The staff is friendly and, at least on my last visit, constantly checking to refill my coffee and never made to feel rushed although we lingered on a busy Saturday morning.
Excellent service and the foood was great! I ordered online and the doordash driver forgot one bag with. I called the restaurant and the manager from sunday morning, was really nice and profesional. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. I will definetly order from there again.
My dinner was great after getting to my Hotel after hours of traveling. The Pot Roast sandwich was delicious. But the service provided by my server James was totally on point. He's the kind of brand ambassador that will make customers really want to return.
My favorite one. Always love eating here. Always have the 55+ breakfast selection i like. Server is always nice. New chef really cooks good, food very good.
This Denny's is located conveinently down the street from me and has the best night shift service compared to other restaurants that are still open past 2am. I wasn't able to get the two gentlemen's names, but they provided us fabulous service. Extremely polite, positive attitude and tone, and was obvious they cared about their customers. As for food, I tend to stay on the cheap side and decide on the various items on the $5 menu. The grand slam was filling and satisfied my late night hunger, the biscuit and gravy were delicious. I was amazed at the amount of food given for such a low price. Great Denny's with wonderful staff, highly recommend this for those late night hunger issues.

Attended me very well. Hopefully she waits my table next time i come here, and i will be, so i can get her number. My son thought she was cool too. So that's a plus. 💯
Denny's in Pomona, was excellent 👌 👏 👍 Tables, floor and restrooms were very clean and well maintained. The hostess and wait staff were very friendly! The food was tasty and plentiful. Endless great coffee. We both had the "Steak and eggs, with sauted mushrooms and caramelized onions. With a side order of " Hearty Grain" pancakes. And spent $54.95, a really overall great experience.
This is the best Denny's I have been to. The staff was friendly and hard working. They were attentive and helpful. The food was great. My veggie omlette was perfectly made with no brown eggs on my omelette. I hate brown eggs and it happens a lot. I was very impressed.

Stopped going to this location long time ago, because of the typical bad service and uncleanness. Decided to try it out again, and the service was spectacular this time. The place was clean too. Hopefully it stays that way, because I think they have better pancakes than your local macd or ihop and for a lot less too! If only businesses knew how to keep good employees n rid of the lazy ones. Happy eats!

Always been a nice place to go to for comfort food. You can always go for a burger or a healthy salad or salmon with rice and broccoli. The service has been better, they have been getting more professional and higher energetic people.
Had an amazing experience at Denny's! The service was super friendly, and the food came out hot and quick. Great and numerous options to pick from. The pancakes are super fluffy and the loaded omelettes are always a solid choice, I had the loaded veggie. It’s the perfect spot for a casual meal and good eats for any meal. Definitely want to go back soon! 5 stars!
Very quick service here. Server was so quick. Found me a quiet place to sit because I had a headache. Served me so fast and everything was hot and comforting. Plenty of parking.
Sparkling clean, I love Denny’s and this is the only one with no sticky menu or greasy smell. Took my kiddo for a Sunday brunch and he was so happy about the kids menu also the little games while waiting for our food. Servers are friendly and attentive that my coffee was always hot and filled.
Nice pleasant atmosphere The Waitresses looked happy they smiled they greeted you very nice and most Danny's do have this kind of service but some Dennis employees go out of their way and they want you to come back to that same restaurant I'm not from the area but if I lived here I would come here frequently because of the service
The food was absolutely delicious! fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. From the fluffy pancakes to the savory eggs, everything hit the spot. What made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. You could really tell they cared about creating a great dining experience. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are top-notch, but this Denny’s nailed it. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommending it to friends and family!

Our server Maite was amazing. Food was the absolute best when it was fresh vs ordering it to go or pick up. Very close to our hotel. If we come back, hope to get Maite again. Her service was excellent
You know the joke: What's the best thing about Denny's? It's open. But the thing is, Denny's is good food for a good value - and this location is a great example of the brand. Clean, bright dining room, attentive and friendly staff, and good diner food.
Peter is so gracious, every time brings wrapped silverware and extra napkins without having to be asked. I do think the senior menu needs to be upgraded to more healthier selection. Maybe something like steamed Chicken with baked potato or steamed Carrots.
Been fasting for lab work. Stopped at Denny's Diamond Bar. Lorena was our server; she was friendly, accommodating. Enjoyed breakfast, prepared to my liking, as well as my husband's breakfast. Service an food excellent an timely!
Just your usual Denny's. Can get pretty crowded though due to Cal Poly Pomona students. The service is always top tier with servers like Sal making your day. Haven't had any problems with my food yet and can't go wrong with a grand slamwich!

Always a good place to meet friends for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Varied menu, so everyone can find something they like. Dennys is always upgrading the menu with new items. Of course, some of us like items which have been deleted and replaced. Be careful Dennys, that kind of corporate marketing culture can get you in trouble with your 'fan' base. Consistency is good.....just ask In-N-out Burgers.
Breakfast was good, service was better for this busy time of morning. Will eat here again when working in the area.
I've been here multiple times and have had primarily good experiences. The food is usually good. The only problem I feel I have is being noticed by the staff if I need something like a refill or want to get their attention to order something additional. Overall a nice clean place.
Well it's a Denny's so its going to be decent for the money. Service was fast and friendly, bit busier when we went in but we were seated quickly and by a nice manager. The waitress was fast (I never had an empty cup of coffee once and we're talking 4-5 cups here) and friendly. Can't ever beat the value menu and I was happy that they cooked my eggs perfectly (over medium is almost never done right). Also the entire restaurant was very clean and well maintained, probably one of the nicest Denny's I've ever been to. All in it's a solid Denny's and a good breakfast choice.
Had a great greeting at the door by a man wearing a USA hat(I thought it was the manager), so that started it off right for me. I was seated quickly and the waitress was there immediately. Our food was served promptly and was very tasty. I had the senior omelet and really enjoyed it. We were there over 90 minutes and the waitress never stopped checking on us. I was impressed.
Each time I go to this Denny's I have a different experience. It's either very fast service, nice workers or it's bad and slow service, and talkative workers. The mornings I think are the worst to go, later workers are much nicer. If you have a different Denny's to go to I recommend going to another one.
Not your average Denny's You go up to the counter to order. The tables are not-often cleaned. While other meal times are reasonable, it will on average take you an hour to get your order for lunch. This Denny's is also not 24 hour, and on holidays the hours are drastically reduced. The staff will sometimes open late and/or close early, but they're overall nice people.
Slow service, usually is better but todat took 20 minutes to get fries for my grandson. Irange juice was watered down, when asked for a replacement it took about 25 minutes to get it back , at this point I was about dine with my food. No apology was made either.
Just left this place after having breakfast, and I wasn't really impressed. Staff was nice, but didn't see our waitress after our food was brought to us. Finally , when she did come around she gave us our drink refill without ice. So I had warm water and warm soda. And at the checkout counter added a tip to our debt payment and was told that a $8 tip was to little on a $30 bill. Don't know if we'll be back anytime soon. Food was good though.
This Branch could have had more stars but our server didn't quite made it more pleasing if she served our table first than the next table, who came in a bit later than us. Well the pancake was good as expected and over all the the food is good. The service should follow suit. By the way it was a special day because we were celebrating the 91st Birthday of my wonderful friend Bill on a Valentines Day.

Due to a bad experience in Denny's I stopped going to any of this food chain restaurant. However, because my friend liked Denny's I gave in. This location served food fresh although the egg could have been cooked better since it was still runny and not cooked fully. The server was very pleasant and she always checked if we needed anything. Overall, I'm satisfied.
I've been here many times. But this time I noticed something. We were seated by the host and were told the waitress would be with us soon. We waited and waited. She was walking around, serving other customers and cleaning tables. But SHE NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT US. The janitor served our drinks and the host came back to be our waiter. I don't want to call it discrimination, but my feelings were hurt as if I were being discriminated against. Our host/waiter was wonderful 💯 I give him and the lady janitor 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The cooks have to get their stuff together cause every time we go, something is always cold breakfast. It's the sausage, not just in 1 plate but in 3 plates this happen last year but with the bacon common this once was our spot. Back to ihop
The food was blend tasting even though the waiter messed up my order and had to make me a new one. Waited a long time for him to come around so that i could let him know. This used to be one of my favorite go tos, but not it has become a last resort for me
This is your average restaurant, some things are good and some things that ate supposed to be served hot, come cold instead. Their silverware is dirty, had to exchange it. The service was great though.
Got seated fast. Our waitress was nice but the food was ok, coffee was not good at all. Had to wait long just to pay. People that were waiting to be seated left. Normally weve had a good experience here thats why we come to this one. Not sure what happened this time.

Do not come here in the evening! We waited over 15 minutes to order while the waiter was nowhere to be seen so we eventually just walked out and went to another Denny's. The place was not busy at all, I don't think there were any other customers either. This is not the only time this has happened, I don't know what it is about this location and their evening staff.
Bleh. Went in on Memorial Day. Not too busy, we were seated almost right away. Then we sat and waited for service. Long wait for the food, which was barely warm. The servers seemed to be overtaxed, so not blaming them, but the experience was extremely disappointing. We don't do Dennys very often, and if the next experience is anything like this one it will be our last.
This is not a real Denny's, this is "The Den", an on-campus restaurant employing students. The prices are higher than a normal Denny's, the menu selection smaller, and the quality and portions of food lesser. The food can be very good here but the quality varies drastically depending on which students are in the kitchen. The service also declines whenever the place is busy, I don't know how many times my order has been lost and I have been stuck waiting for nothing. This is basically smaller, fast-food version of Denny's, but is is basically your only option if you live in the suites and don't have a car.
First of all when I came in your Hostess had no personality. Absolutely no smile, like if she hated her job . Later on as I was eating my breakfast I heard her speaking to the young black host that I had made a comment to my daughter-in-law that was with me she had no personality or smile. I thought that was very inappropriate that she would be talking in the range of me hearing but one thing I do have to say that is a positive note I had the spicy Skillet and it was delicious my best experience of being at this restaurant what's my server his name was ZAKI he literally went above and beyond his duties as a server. I asked him what is favorite food was and he suggested the spicy skillet and it was delicious.Zaki what is very sociable and pleasant. Food was good I would definitely come back.
Arrived just after 11pm, was told the items I wanted weren't served after 11pm. It was their "policy". I prepared to leave, as it's against my policy to be denied items on a menu, that they handed me. My wife didn't want to drive to another restaurant, so we stayed, the food was bland and unremarkable. Tasted worse than frozen food. The server was ok, so I left a tip, but I will never return to this establishment again. They and their tasteless food, and menu policies can go to #$%^. If you want to eat at a better Denny's both for food quality and great attitude, there is a location on Gillette road and Dudley offramp of the 10 Fwy, in Pomona. They have some days when they close early, so be sure to check ahead.
We stopped here for breakfast. We were leaving town after spending 2 nights in Pomona. Older building but clean and tidy. The service was great, the manager, hostess, and our waiter were funny, happy, pleasant people. The food, however, was not that good. I’ve eaten at a few Denny’s and although not gourmet it’s tasty and I do leave satisfied. At this Resturant, I found the food to be greasy, plain, and not very good overall. I will not eat here again.
I've been there quite of few times service has always been good. But lately it has been the worst. Most recently we went there not busy that's for sure. we were seated, they asked us what we wanted to drink, informed us that our server would be with us shortly. Fifteen minutes later they took our order. An hour passes, our food still hasn't gotten to us, so I asked our server if our food was ready. She said, "That the tilapia was taking longer to cook since it was fish and the spaghetti would be brought out as soon as it was ready." Well needless to say 30 minutes later, we got our food by then were ready to get the heck out of there. Food didn't taste good after that long wait. This is not the first time this has happened to us, two other times, the servers were rude. This server was at least nice, can take that away from her. I won't be going back there anytime soon that’s for sure.
The Food Tries. Management... Not So Much. Let me start with the positives, because credit where credit is due: The service is fast, the waitress was genuinely nice, and the food was actually good. Yes -- good. This is Denny's, not a Michelin lab, and they delivered exactly what they were supposed to: hot food, edible pancakes, eggs that didn't taste like regret. Respect. Now... let's talk about everything else. First of all, how is it possible to be slow seating people when the restaurant is basically empty? This isn't Disneyland on a holiday weekend. This is Denny's. I shouldn't feel like I'm waiting for a table at a celebrity-owned steakhouse while three employees stand around chatting like they're on break... except they're not. Which brings me to management. The managers give off that unsettling "I'm watching you but not helping you" energy. You know the type -- arms crossed, pacing, staring into the middle distance like they're running a psychological experiment instead of a restaurant. Zero urgency, zero leadership, maximum awkward hovering. Meanwhile, customers are standing there waiting while employees are having full-blown conversations like it's a podcast taping. Guys -- people are hungry. This is literally the one job. The irony? Once you're seated, things magically improve. Food comes out fast. Staff is friendly. It's like there are two different Dennys operating at the same time: * One that wants to serve you * One that has absolutely no interest in acknowledging your existence So yeah -- 2 stars. One star for the waitress. One star for the food. Everything else feels like a social experiment called "How Long Will This Person Stand Here Before Saying Something?" Would I come back? Maybe. Would I recommend it? Only if you're patient, observant, and emotionally prepared to be ignored for no reason. Classic Denny's -- comfort food with a side of confusion.
The food did not meet Denny's standards. As a former employee of Denny's who trained in drive-through service and experienced the modern location—of which there’s only one in the U.S.—I can confirm that this particular Denny's fell short of the expected quality standards. The staff was friendly, but there seemed to be a language or cultural barrier; they clearly didn't quite understand the younger generation, which I find surprising considering Cal Poly is just down the street. Overall, the environment was clean. In my opinion, the food was pretty average, though reasonably priced.
I had placed an pick order and when I had arrived I had waited a bit for my order. There were two men in front of me of Caucasian complex get there orders. They both got it with ease. When I came up I had told the Indian man or whatever he, I came to pick up my order and gave him my name. He then looked at me then looked at the food then asked me again is that my food, which I replied yes it is then just held the bag looking at me asking me if I could show him ID. He didn’t ask the other two man in front of me for ID. I felt racial profiled and I will not be returning to this Denny’s. Shout out to the cook, the food was great.
Made a phone order she was very rude while I was placing the order!!! Didn’t tell me how long and just hung up really fast! I called to see if the other was ready and she was still rude hung up again!
Service was horrible! The waitress was no where to be found and when she did come to the table, she ran off so fast that you can't ask her for anything. Then she forgets to bring your whole order. Too bad because the owner seems very nice. But we will not be going back.
We came in and were sat down by the hostess. She brought us drinks but the server never came to get our order. We sat for 15 minutes and no one came. We walked out and left money for our drinks on the table. We were actually looking for breakfast at night.
Server had us sit down and said they would be right back to take our drinks, we waited for 15 minutes and no one came back to check on us. The " Shift manager was chitchatting with another employee. Cooks were just standing around waiting for orders. And as for the business there was ONE COUPLE AND US! No excuse to why no one could attend us. We got up and left
I was there a few moments ago there was barley anyone there took a long time to get my order taken. When I got my food everything was cold even the chicken some of it was still pink. This isn't the fist time they done something like this but leving my chicken still pink really ticks me off.
We gave our name to be seated. Sat there in front of the desk. They seated others that came in after us. When we questioned them they said they had crossed off our name by accident. No apology or anything. We left. Place looked dirty and we felt like we were not welcome there. Will never go back and would not recommend it to anyone.
Horrible service! Birthday breakfast barcode not working. Guy didn't even try to fix it. Went to second Denny's. QR code worked just fine. But took it to go. These guys weren't much better in the rudeness department.
Let me start by saying there was only one table occupied and we waited more than 30 minutes to get our food which we did not even receive it is 3:00 am and there is no one in that restaurant yet we had no server come to us and Web had to get up and look for someone and after that it still took more than half an hour to get our food. So we decided to leave because our food was no where near ready. Such a horrible experience!! Never again !! Need better management at night seriously! So upset !!
My brother got food poisoning. He ordered his go-to grand slamwhich with water to drink. I called the manager to let them know. The manager tried to blame alcohol and tried to say my brother had an allergic reaction to the maple syrup. Clearly avoiding the bigger issue. My brother had NO ALCOHOL and he's not allergic to anything. The manager told me to call back tomorrow. My brother has thrown up a few times, he has been sweating off and on, and he has diarrhea. I'm not calling back and I'm definitely not going back. I do not recommend this location. Honestly, just go to Norms.
Very poor service. I was the only customer in the restaurant. Server never checked back after bringing me my breakfast or refilled my coffee.
They said they called my name that was a lie then sat us down waiting 15 min to take our order and the owner doesn't know how to run a business never will come back !!!!!!
Honestly, I never like this restaurant because. One time I was traveling from Santa Barbara to Sacramento early morning we stopped for breakfast. People start showing up there were attendant before I was there for 45min not even offered coffee. Really bad experience. I feel exclude and racist. The 4th of this month I decided to be with a group of friends food was cold and very salty. Coffee olso was cold. I definitely never want to step into Danny's Restaurant.
Wednesday night, I ordered a super bird, bacon crispy with fries, ranch on the side, the ranch tasted more like blue cheese, the superbird tasted terrible. The bread tasted old., The tomatoes tasted old and the second half of my sandwich was so soggy, I couldn't eat it, and this poor girl's by herself, and they were busy, terrible service, terrible food, never give bad service to an ex server, it will reflect on your tip.
Unfortunately I didn't to get eat here. The restaurant was dead. I was seated and waited 23 minutes without anyone taking my order..not even a "I'll be right with u". I was simply ignored. When the server ( a heavy set mexican woman) finally made an appearance, there was no apology and had an "I don't care attitude" I just told her I was leaving, her response was an apology with an attitude while walking away to someone else. I'm from out of town and just wanted some breakfast. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
I ordered two breakfast menu items online. Both had sausage and egg included. One of those orders had a half eaten sausage, or at least it appeared that way. The other order containing eggs had egg shells in it. However, on the plus side, the customer service was good.
I've been eating at this particular location for nearly 15 yrs. Sadly, the quality of the food has come crashing down. I usually order dinner time, 1-2 a week, and the pattern of constant dishes going wrong has reached to the maximum level. Some examples are overburned, dirty oil (fried food is always extremely dark), oversalted, funky taste, and the list can go on and on etc. I got tired of telling the manager what went wrong with their uneatable dishes, so the best thing to do was to STOP VISITING THIS PLACE. The obvious point is that something is going wrong severely with their kitchen staff or that they simply don't care why they keep losing customers left and right. If they'd paid more attention to the complaints, they would not have received this straightforward lousy review today.
This location was one of the worst locations i ever visited. We ordered lasagna, and instead of telling us that they were out and it was going to be a wait of over an hour. We had to ask 2 times for an update. Our server never came to check on us or offer refills. Once the lasagna was brought out, one of the servers said our bill was covered by the manager due to waiting more than an hour for our food. Then, when we asked, they said no. When paying for the bill, the manager had no clue about the issue and handled it really rudely.
I got food poisoning here. I ate the brisket all melt with seasoned fries and when i called them to let them know this, the guy refused to take any responsibility and said "it takes 24 hours for you to get food poisoning. you ate something else" Now that is not how food poisoning works, as it can show up within hours of eating food. Do not eat at this dennys if you value yourself. Clearly the worker has an attitude problem.
Went to Denny's in Diamond Bar, had a Question for waitress. Would not come to table. Very rude. I will never go here again. Have gone in past, and food and service terrible Don't waste money or time.
They've gone Covid crazy...they just don't care if they forget to put the butter in for pancakes or fork and knapkins... or watered-down instant mashed potatoes that have the distinct taste of "funk!" Uneatable!" Salmon so dried out it would work as a frisbee! Denny's has gone "South" on us...so sad! Used to be my favorite! Now...just Covid lazy...no body cares...sad!
On February 16, 2024, I visited your Denny's. I am writing to express my disappointment with the service and quality of food I experienced during my visit. Firstly, the service was delayed, and it took an excessive amount of time to be acknowledged and seated upon arrival. The server came and practically rushed us to order. I was still ordering while she was taking the menus. The servers name on my receipt is Agripina R. Additionally, I was served overcooked cold food which was not up to the standard I expect from Denny's. Every food item including the cold, old, bitter coffee was sent back. When departing, there was an incident where I overheard a worker questioning if my party had paid, implying a lack of trust or proper communication within your team. I felt disrespected considering there was another large group walking out in head of me and my party but they only targeted the colored people which was me, my mom and sister. I came back in to speak with the manager. During my interaction with your staff, I encountered a Hispanic male, who identified himself as the manager. He was wearing all black attire, a baseball cap, and exhibited poor hygiene with dirty teeth hands, and nails. Despite bringing the issues to his attention, I received a disregarded explanation and felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. I then came back in to get his name so that I can report him to corporate, but he was no longer at the register. So I went up to the black guy with braces who I paid with and asked him the guys name his first question to me is “why?” I respond “I‘d just like to know the name of the guy who helped me.” He then says with an attitude “Nadine” I then walk away disgusted with the level of unprofessionalism these employees have the level of service and quality of food provided during my visit to your establishment were unacceptable. As a loyal patron of Denny's, I expect better standards and hope that you will take appropriate action to address these issues and prevent similar experiences for other customers in the future.
