White Sands Restaurant & Bar

Went this morning to enjoy a beautiful breakfast to kick off Memorial Day weekend and let me tell you, the service and food was amazing. We were greated with smiles from all staff and even though the restaurant was packed, we still were acknowledged and informed by our waitress and another waitress that there would be a wait. The waitresses even let us know that they were experiencing a delay in the kitchen due to being short staffed back there, but let me tell you the food was delicious (way better than our other times we've been there). We got our food about 30 minutes or so later but during that time we enjoyed some awesome Bloody Mary's and Mimosas with some chips and salsa (the bartender is awesome). I must add that we even went back for some togo orders of their Enchiladas special and they were the BEST ones I've ever eaten... I definitely recommend them! The new owners and amazing waitstaff make us want to come back all the time (which we will).

The best seafood I’ve had so far fish & shrimp doesn’t not have that ugly aftertaste the cheese spinach delicious my 2 year old did not want to share it lol great view and awesome staff I LOVE IT I WILL BE COMING BACK A LOT MORE OFTEN ❤️❤️❤️

The food is of good quality similar to Isabel's or Hermanos they have exceptional cake that is amazing but maybe overpriced today dollars a slice. The rest of their food is actually really cheap a full breakfast for $10. This service is competent and friendly and the owner is interested in you. My first time there I had a minor problem with my food and she comped my entire meal without being asked. I've been back a few times since.

A bit of a hidden gem. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday. Offering daily breakfast and dining specials from Mexican specialties to fried chicken and mashed potatoes. And ask about the spinach gravy to go on your fried Chicken; it's worth it I promise Full bar available.

Made special errands just so I could stop in to pick up food on my way home. Ordered battered fish. Was looking forward to it. Verified three times with waitress. Too bad they screwed that up. I got spicy breaded. Completely ruined any enjoyment of the meal. Definitely not returning again.

On Saturday, my party and I experienced bad customer service from a female server. She was the server that was assigned to the section where my party and I sat. She walked by our table several times and never acknowledged us. We sat there for 15 to 20 minutes. My party wanted to leave, but I didn't want to make a big deal. Dang, I had never experienced racism in the valley. I felt that she didn't help because of our ethnicity. There was a young male server who obviously saw she wasn't tending to us, so he took over. He apologized and made up for what the other server didn't do. The food is good here, but I hope you don't encounter this server.

The two tiny fish fillets were about 1 X 2 inches each and the 4 so-called jumbo shrimp were not exactly very jumbo. I mentioned to the waitress how small the portion was (in comparison to the last time I was there), and she just rolled her eyes and walked away. I literally finished this "meal" in a about 3 minutes and got out of there fast after they took my eleven dollars! Also, the taste of the little bit of food I got was very bland- not much flavor at all to any of it! Immediately after leaving this place, I went to the nearest Jack-in-the-Box and ordered a fish sandwich (among other things) for $2.99 and it was EXACTLY the same size as both of the fish fillets at White Sands combined!! I will definitely not ever go back to this place! Such a shame that they no longer care about their customers! By the way, of course they have larger portions if you do not mind spending 30 dollars for lunch. If you are not on any kind of budget, then by all means give them your money, but for me, this will be my last time at this place. There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from.

First time coming to this place to eat I ordered a a flour tortilla potato and egg taco for breakfast I took only two bites and the potatoes were hard not even cook properly the first coming here and last time
