I ragazzi sono cordiali, prezzi contenuti considerato il posto, ma soprattutto cibo e qualità degli ingredienti di altissimo livello. Colazioni dolci, salate e primi tradizionali tra le cose più consigliate!!

Bellissimo posto a Positano dove puoi fare una ricca colazione, sia dolce che salata. Inoltre per pranzo propone un menù semplice ma fresco e delizioso, con ingredienti di prima scelta. Il tutto è accompagnato da un ambiente piccolo e accogliente con un balconcino con una vista spettacolare. Consigliato, soprattutto per chi vuole assaporare la vera cucina locale.

Posides is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat in all of Italy. The brothers who run it, along with their staff, are so kind, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The space is small and charming, with an open kitchen where you can watch the magic happen. There’s limited seating, but it’s well worth the wait. The food is incredible; fresh, creative, and full of heart. The cappuccino was perfect, and the carbonara toast was unforgettable. I still think about it. The French toast was another standout, made with thick custardy brioche, fresh berries, and a crème brûlée topping that was absolute perfection. Everything feels local and seasonal, and the menu changes often, which makes every visit special. An amazing spot with a cozy vibe, beautiful plating, and some of the best food I had anywhere in Italy.

This was without question the most memorable meal we’ve ever had in our travels, and this is our fourth trip to Italy. Before arriving in Positano, I read countless reviews trying to find the best places to eat. This place stood out with consistently glowing ratings. Even so I approached it with cautious optimism knowing how unreliable online reviews can be. But from the moment we arrived, every expectation was exceeded. Meeting Antonio was a highlight as well. His warmth and kindness were immediately evident and his passion for cooking radiated through every dish. The meal was extraordinarily crafted in every way. My wife and I can’t stop talking about the meal. We are even considering extending our stay just to join Antonio’s cooking class. If it’s anything like the meal we enjoyed, I’m certain it would be an incredible experience. Thank you, Antonio, and to the entire team. You gave us a meal we’ll never forget. Incredible food, views, and service! We had a table for two on the terrace overlooking beautiful Positano scenery, absolutely stunning. The Caprese and prosciutto salads were fresh and full of flavor, the Posides Spritz (made with local cherry liquor) and limoncello were delicious, and the affogato at the end was the perfect touch. The staff was so friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. It’s a bit of a walk from the city center with some stairs, but worth every step and great for a post-dinner stroll. A must-visit in Positano for the views, the flavors, and the welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely Amazing Experience. A Must-Visit! We had both breakfast and lunch here, and every single dish was outstanding. The French toast was delicious, and the fresh orange juice was the perfect start to the day. But the real star was the meatballs. Honestly, the best I’ve ever had in my life! Can’t forget their amazing drinks. My husband ordered negroni and it came out fast and he loved it. We wanted to stay longer to enjoy drinks but because of rainy weather, we didn’t want to hold the table too long so they could get more people served. The staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming. It was especially heartwarming to see them greet Korean guests in Korean, such a thoughtful touch that shows how much they care. There’s also a very handsome guy working there! If we ever come back to this area, we’ll definitely return. This place is a gem, and I can’t recommend it enough!

This breakfast/ lunch spot was FANTASTIC! Recommended to us by our AirBNB host, we loved how easy it was to find, sort of out of the hustle part of Positano which we enjoyed. Wonderful view from the large window. The chefs and staff were very friendly and playful which made the experience even better. We enjoyed that there was a smaller than normal menu which is usually a good sign and it paid off! Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked and smelled incredible. They also make a better than normal cappuccino which is a big plus! I also noticed the chef take a special request from a different guest but still delivered a wonderful “off-menu”” dish. This just speaks to the skills of the chef! Will come here if visiting Positano again.

An absolute gem! We were recommended to come here by our Airbnb host. We ordered cappuccinos, the poached spicy eggs and french toast for brunch. They only had 5 items on the menu and let me tell you they mastered those dishes! While the restaurant is small, it had a lovely atmosphere and great personable service. Don’t let the prices scare you. Since positano is on the pricier end anyway, this place was ACTUALLY worth it! The chef also offers cooking classes in the evening, which is why they are only open for breakfast and lunch. One of the best meals we’ve had here!

Posides is truly a gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming — we immediately felt at home. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, but the standout for us was the French toast — rich, decadent, and topped perfectly. The scrambled eggs with pancetta, the avocado toast, and the baked eggs in tomato sauce were also incredible, each plate prepared with such care and flavor. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience special. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Unquestionably one of the best meals we’ve had on our European vacation. Antonio and Ilario were very welcoming and fun to talk with. The flavors and views were amazing. We highly recommend slowing down and spending a bit of time enjoying the experience! Edited… So good that we had to go back before we left Positano. This time we came for lunch after having a wonderful breakfast just a few days earlier. Once again, Antonio and Ilario presented us with an amazing experience. We LOVED Posides. Came to Positano for the day from Amalfi. This was the best restaurant we’ve eaten at. My son found it based on reviews, so we were determined to go. It’s a small restaurant. Menu changes daily. We were treated like family. Lots of laughs. Cafe Americano was also delicious. We ordered off the daily menu. The pappardelle and Snapper were absolutely incredible! We also ordered the French toast from the regular menu for dessert. You can get off the ferry and walk all the way up the man street (my preferred for the view and sites), or get off the ferry and go left up the many steps (our preferred way down). This is a MUST GO!!! They know how to cook.

This place was truly magnificent! Not only was the food some of the, if not THE, best food we’ve had in Italy so far, but the chef and staff were incredible. We went for breakfast but missed the window slightly, so we ordered from the slightly rotating lunch menu. And i’m glad we missed breakfast, because the lemon Cod (Baccala) and ribeye steak tagliata to die for. We are originally from Texas, where we have plenty of world class steak, and chefs to cook it. But this was truly something spectacular. We also had a Cortado (type of coffee/expresso) I special requested which was not on the menu but they accommodated anyway. Then finally a dessert which was a local pastry soaked in sweet rum with crème and fresh berries. Uh, wow?! The place is a far cry from some of the more touristy places you find scattered throughout italy, and even toward the lower areas of Positano. I find the larger the seating areas, the less handmade and handcrafted the meals, and that is usually evident in the quality of the food. This place only seats roughly 6 tables at a time, meaning you get truly handcrafted meals. We were able to engage with the chef during our stay since the food is cooked in the same room as you. There is only one table outside on a patio, so if that’s what you are coming here for - plan for a wait. Small, cosy, quaint, and incredible food. Worthy every penny [or your local currency]. I wish I could bottle this experience and take it home with me. Chow down, and Ciao!

So glad we walked into this cute spot (5-6 tables) in Positano town run by two local brothers. We had a family of 6 but were lucky to squeeze into two table as it was later in the lunch hour. Everything on the menu is delicious and cooked fresh with fresh local ingredients. Don’t skip the dessert. Great food to enjoy leisurely while chatting with the staff. Go here and skip the other tourist traps 😅

The owners Antonio & Ilario may be the most welcoming, kind, authentic - and passionate about what they do - people I’ve ever met. We had the opportunity to take part in a cooking class and came back for lunch a couple of days later. I couldn’t recommend Posides enough if you’re looking for a place to not only enjoy a meal, but appreciate company and learn about Italian cuisine. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. We were lucky to see it open on our last night in Positano. The Chef/Owner was lovely, and we learned about local food and ingredients. They recommended a fantastic wine and surprised us with white wine for our seafood paccheri. If you see the panzanella salad or veal “ragu” on the menu, go for it; you won't be disappointed.

The food itself reached Michelin-star level in quality, yet remained rooted in the most traditional, heartfelt dishes of the Amalfi Coast. We’ve eaten all over the world, top 10 for us!!!! Every bite was a celebration of local flavors: the peach, stracciata and prosciutto, —OMG! perfection; the gnocchi, bursting with cheese and homemade tomato sauce; and the tagliolini alla nerano delightfully al dente with a symphony of flavor. We’ve never had veal as perfect as it was with the lemon sauce. And it doesn’t stop at savory—end your meal with Baba or tiramisu! The Baba is to die for. Posides isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a story, a family legacy. Chef Antonio, alongside his family, creates a dining experience that’s both unpretentious and unforgettable. They’ve mastered being casual yet elegant, simple yet mind-blowingly good. If you find yourself in Positano, do yourself a favor and don’t just eat—truly dine at Posides. It’s an experience we’ll cherish forever.” We have been to most of the 4+ star restaurants in town, if I had a choice, is only done here. Their menu rotates so there's always something new.

As you can probably already tell from all of the glowing reviews, you can really taste the love and care that goes into the food here. We initially tried to eat here for dinner, but the dining room was completely packed and unable to take more guests. After seeing that we were a bit sweaty from the climb up, we were met with empathy, and some great recommendations for alternative restaurants! We knew we wanted to try Posides before we left Positano, and we were so glad we were able to (as our last meal there)! It was more than worth the two hikes up the cliffside. The two brothers that run Posides can be a little bit silly at times, but I feel like it makes the food taste better. The banter and constant interaction made us feel like part of the family, and the smaller, intimate space really added to the experience. Posides makes you wish you had multiple stomachs - every plate was an absolute home run, and I was disappointed we couldn’t sample the entire menu. Considering the menu changes every day, it’s really a testament to how skillful the chef and staff are here. As many others have mentioned, Posides may be the reason we visit Positano again in the future.

What a place! By far the best lunch I've had in Europe on my trip, and the best lunch I can remember in a long time. Our party of four waited a few minutes for our table - and boy, was it worth it. The food was incredible - try the meatballs and catch of the day, if you can. The biggest downside is they aren't open for dinner. The staff is amazing. Friendly, attentive, and they know what they're doing. The space is cozy and intimate. It makes you feel like you're a local in positano and going down to your local place for lunch, knowing a good kept secret - the best spot in town. We saw two patrons be rude and disrespectful, and the staff did a good job handling the situation, but ultimately - if you want to be mean and rude to the staff, this isn't the place for you. They are professionals, friendly, and on top of things. A home away from home, but better food and wine.
