Recensioni di Park Bros Coffee Potsdam
Love the vibe, customer service is exceptional. I enjoyed the varieties of teas and coffees offered. I always will comeback for more.
The baristas are friendly and make amazing drinks! I love chatting with friends over delicious pastries while doing homework.
Nice little local coffee place, sandwiches are great, and I also really enjoyed my bagel. Good outdoor seating as well.
Unique and interesting, I never visit Potsdam without stopping in for a matcha latte. Some of the best coffee I've had. If you're in the area you must stop by.
The food was amazing a tad bit pricey but for the portions I got it was well worth it. They have a lot of options and the dining room was very clean and it has a nice relaxing hip vibe to it.
They serve high-quality beverages in a very relaxing atmosphere. Cutting edge coffee roasting, brewing and specialty drinks. Lots on the menu for all tastes.
The coffee was divine. I had a regular coffee that tasted like a mocha, but there was no cocoa or sugar. The staff was very friendly and helpful!
Fun and pretty place to stop for an exceptional cup of coffee ( they also serve tea!) Stay a while, enjoy a scone or dessert with you next cup and work with using their wifi. Enjoy!
I love the blueberry muffins and the bagel sandwich. I also love the atmosphere of the dining room. I will encourage friends and family try it out.
Great food, great people, great atmosphere. Electrical outlets at each booth. Eat there or take out. Love the coffee and bagels!
Quick service and great bagels. There are lots of customization options as well, which is always nice. They also have a pretty good online order system.
Very nice spot. Good coffee and bagels. We happened.on this spot on our way thru town. Glad we stopped in.
Beautiful cozy place to sit and unwind while having a cup of coffee. I have tried Matcha Latte at quite a few places but theirs is the best so far.
Love love love the bagels there.the coffee is good too. The food is fresh.whenever we are in potsdam we stop in every time we are in town
Great coffee, and the bagel sandwiches served hot bring me back to my college days grabbing lunch from The Bagelry.
My wife and I had bagel breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Both were excellent. Nice atmosphere.
Awesome bagel and coffee shop as well as a great place to hang out on your computer. Plenty of plugs and places to sit as well as good wifi.
Nice place, small neighborhood feel. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend. Food was cooked to order.
Excellent bagels and a great space to enjoy them in.
Not from Potsdam and was surprised to find such a fun bagel shop. Inside was great and the food was interesting and delicious would definitely come again if I was around
I have never been in the restaurant, but they deliver and I order from here a lot. The menu is diverse, ordering from the website is very easy, and delivery is really fast. The only thing close to a problem I have had is their pickle policy. Do sandwiches come with them? You can add an extra pickle, but when I select that, I still only get one. If I don't select a pickle option, sometimes I get one, sometimes I don't get any. It is such a small, weird issue that I wouldn't knock a star off for it, but it just confuses me.
Loved my Everything Bagel and Caramel Macchiato! (And, gasp, I am not a coffee drinker!) DH had the Lumberjack (eggs on the side), and DS enjoyed his Brooklyn with an Americano.
Might be a little warm because of the lack of AC. But winter is coming so it never gets unbearable. The drinks are great, the matcha latte I got was super creamy and tasty. Great study space.
Was craving a bagel and thank God they didn’t close down in this winter storm! Great service from these brave girls!
The process was fast and the staff was super friendly. These bagels are worth going for! From sandwiches and spreads to pizza you can get whatever your craving if it can go on a bagel.
Could not have been more helpful. My wife made a special order of bagel and scrambled eggs with bacon done in a specific way and the team took special care to get it done exactly right. One more example for us of the very notable kindness and care we have found along this part of the United States.
Atmosphere was so cozy and chill, the pour over coffee and chai latte were both fabulous, and Cathy the barista was so friendly and willing to answer all my nerdy coffee questions! I'm so glad that a great coffee shop has finally come to the north country!
Perhaps my favourite eatery in all of Potsdam, at least it's the one I miss most and would go back to visit! Great bagel sandwhiches such as the pulled pork or reuben, really enjoyed!
Consistent, well thought out and executed food. Coffee is excellent. Clean and very well kept space. Service is fast and staff are really on the ball. No. 1 coffee place I know of anywhere.
Great atmosphere! Delicious food. An awesome place to get something to eat. Prices are more than reasonable. Glad we stopped in to check it out.
I’ve been there three times. Great food and workers. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken bagel! And the one with Nutella bacon and Brie (I forgot what it’s called)
Park Brothers make real, honest-to-goodness bagels! No plain, fluffy white bread baked into giant donuts here! These are dense, chewy, boiled-then-baked toruses that exercise your jaws the way bagels are meant to do! They come in plain, whole wheat, sesame seed, poppy seed, cinnamon-raisin, onion, and all the other flavors you have a right to expect, and they turn them into generous sandwiches or apply humongous schmears should you so desire. They also have their own coffee roasts to address your caffeine cravings. If you want North Country bagels that stand up to scrutiny by NYC gnoshers, then this where to go.
Good bagel selections, good and generous sandwiches, the coffee was very tasty, large and inexpensive baked goods/dessert options!
Wow! What a gem! Wish I had found this place sooner! Great coffee, food and service. Clean and inviting. Great place for a conversation or teleworking. Will go back!
Use to be the place to be after the bars closed as they stayed open late on I think Friday and Saturday nights...would be PACKED 1-2AM. Graduated in 2014 so I have no clue how it is now but was always the spot after a long night of drinking. Pizza bagels were AMAZING. Everyone use to freak out in excitement over the pickles! LOL
Very chills and upbeat vibes. I really liked their roast and breakfast sandwhichs - super flavorful! Would recommend to anyone needing a place to hang out, study, or relax with a good book.
Really appreciate the workers, made my online order exactly as asked. Problem is i forgot to select a cream cheese option. I’m so hungover and am really really sad that i have a creamless bagel. My heart feels stomped on. Still amazing bagel, but if you’re ordering online remember to select a cream cheese option </3
Great food and service. Great employees. Pay your employees more instead of asking us to tip them in the credit card machine. They aren’t waiters or waitresses. They do a job for you, pay them better and eliminate the tip option.
Love this place. Interior ambience is comfortable, the staff are pleasant, and - saying this as a transplant from a foodie metropolitan area - everything is delicious. Not just by upstate NY standards. Even their chai is good, and that’s hard to find.
First of all, bagel sandwich was great, service was efficient and friendly and the renovations are nice. Look, feel and branding, all great. For the many students that traveled through Pdam as students and have such fond memories of the bagelry though, I was surprised to see that NONE of the "classics" were carried over to the new menu; like the Gobble, pb&j, pizza or Reuben, to name just a few. Would love to see the Gobble bagel memorialized and added to the menu as a way to tie the new to the old. It's part of the heritage of that space :)
Park Bros looks more like it belongs in Boston or Montreal than in Potsdam, but that lends to its charm. The interior is as wonderful as the coffee. It's a great place to relax alone or visit with a friend. I came often as a student when I needed to "get away" from campus. The matcha and the maple lattes are favorites!
Our family stopped here for breakfast while camping in the area. It was highly recommend on TripAdvisor, and it definitely lived up to the reviews. Great menu, great service. We enjoyed it so much that we came back a second time before heading home. This is not your run of the mill "DD" bagel, these are unique, delicious food pairings for people who enjoy fresh natural food instead of fast food fare.
Great bagels and a relief from fast food restaurants. Really nice interior thats inviting and relaxed. The sesame bagel I had with butter was chewy and delicious and the butter sweet. Stop in for a treat. The menu board has many tempting bagel based items that I'll be sure to try the next time I'm in town.
My family and I come up to Hannawa Falls every year for the summer and Park Bros always has to be one of our stops. Whenever someone asks what’s my favorite coffee place - it’s “Park Bros!” Cardamom iced coffee forever ♥️
I love The Bagelry - I ate there all the time in college and now that I moved away I crave a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with ranch at least once a month. Whether it be the Canton or Potsdam location they do a great job of staying consistent and their bagels are SO. FRESH. IN. THE. MORNING. Best time to go is before 9am! Go there and order anything, it's all good :)
Daaamn! Will you look at the food! I got the Reuben bagel and girlfriend got the Mr. Green Jeans (chicken, cheese, ham, and pesto) bagel. Who would think what you could put on a bagel. Newly remodeled (2 years). Nice and bright. Friendly atmosphere. Bagels are fresh. Great place to stop for a bite to eat.
I absolutely love this place & have been here several times. It has great ambiance and friendly service. They’re playing jazz at the moment and I'm the only person here besides one other customer. It's completely relaxing. I order the same thing whenever I'm here: A maple latte with a smidge of extra maple and a chocolate chip scone. Come here if you are looking for delish pastries, coffee, a place to chill and read a book or to meet up with friends to kibitz. I cant say enough good things about this place. So, definitely come check it out!
One of my favorite spots! I love their iced white mocha, it's the perfect pick-me-up. The garden melt and buffalo chicken bagel sandwiches are both delicious and satisfying. Great spot to study with a group of friends, and they even have a conference room you can reserve.
This place is great! A delicious bagel/breakfast place on a picturesque main street. You can build your own or go with their inventive menu. I highly recommended the lumberjack on a French toast bagel. They have a community room, bathroom locks that tell you if it is occupied or not and a wonderful charm of exposed brick of an old building.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem! Park Bros Co. is a must-visit. Whether you’re stopping by for a bite or browsing local goods, this place has something special. Their bagels (12 flavors!) are fresh and chewy, and the sandwiches are seriously top-notch—made with real care and quality ingredients. The Park Bros signature crème cheese lineup is full of creative flavors and pairs perfectly with everything. They carry some fantastic local and artisanal items too—Garza olive oil, NY maple syrup, Kansas City Canning Co. jars, Jacobsen Co. salt, and more. The baked goods like cookies, bars, and scones are always tempting. Their drinks menu is huge: teas, smoothies, loads of syrup flavors, and plenty of alternative milk options. It’s easy to find something for every taste or dietary need. Bonus points for the local artwork on display—it gives the place a warm, community-focused vibe. Definitely one of those rare spots where quality, charm, and local love come together.
Perfect place to grab a bagel in Potsdam NY! Service is fast, and the prices are decent for a bagel shop. The bagels are good, and the sandwiches are great. Makes coming here over dunkin or Stewart because they are super unique flavors. Recommend the chicken bacon ranch! It is super filling, I usually split it with another person. The portions sizes definitely make the prices better. Looking at 10-12 for a sandwich, so going rate. Under 5 for just a bagel with cream cheese. Warning, they do have limited selection mid day. We happen to come right after a rush, so they had some of the flavors missing. Once we left they had fresh bagels for the afternoon. So just don’t time if bad if you’re looking for the more popular flavors such as everything.
Wishing I could take this place back to my hometown. Atmosphere: charming, clean, beautiful. Staff: friendly, prompt. Menu: fantastic selection, and the food is delicious at a good price. I got the iced vanilla latte and the Brooklyn, no bacon, and my daughter got the strawberry smoothie with a mayo, avocado, bacon bagel.
Much better than the park bros in Canton (Canton's staff is rude to your face. I don't care if you're rude about an order modification behind a counter but don't do it in earshot of the customer you are actively serving) but this one is pretty good. Nice staff even when busy, and gets out orders quickly. They didn't burn my bagel (huzzah) and it tasted good. Not as bland as I thought it would be (good thing). And my friend who doesn't try new things also tried something which made me happy. So five stars for this place
Loved the original taste of the coffee! I tried thei espresso. The fresh smell of the coffee really made my day. It is a quite spacious place. So many tables are there. Good for groups, good for single person too. Background music is available. Price of the coffee is resonable. I definitely recommend the place.
This has become my favorite coffee shop in Potsdam with their new remodel. Great food, service, and atmosphere at reasonable prices. Update on 11/13/22: Still awesome! Just had an open-face California on garlic with a hot London Fog tea... Update on 4/14/23: Still awesome! Update on 8/27/23: Still awesome! Update on 6/3/24: Just stopped in to get a dozen bagels to go today. Was shocked that they cost over $17! When I remarked on the high price, they kid behind the counter said they increased their retail bagel prices, as they make more money selling bagel sandwiches (implying they are trying to steer you to make that choice). For comparison, you can get a baker's dozen of higher quality bagels in the Rochester area (see my other reviews) for only $10.80. In addition, the kid who bagged my bagels (a mix of sweet and savory types) bagged everything haphazardly in one bag, so my pre-sliced cinnamon raisin bagel tastes like everything seasoning. I appreciate that Park Bros. makes their own bagels, but charging customers 50% more than what a high quality bagel shop charges in a metropolitan area is 🤪. P.S. My wife says she will no longer buy bagels from Park Bros., will literally drive to Rochester purchase in bulk and freeze them to avoid being ripped off. Update 6/17/24: I started making my own bagels today, including boiling them in barley malt syrup water. They turn out great! Here's a pic...
Amazing lox and beagles. The smoked salmon was a bit pricey, but the potion was pretty large. I took half of the lox off to have tomorrow. The service is great!
Quality smoothies and iced coffee. Really really delicious. But not very affordable. But hey you get what you pay for. I treat myself every couple months !
Great atmosphere, good service, and prices that seem fair considering the quality of the products. The timers that are served with the tea seem a little unnecessary in the age of smart phones (just sounded like I got a text), but the thought is appreciated. Added bonus: ask for a hot water top-off when you finish your tea. It's like a free second cup!
I had a poppy bagel with the veggie cream cheese. Chewy, fresh, good bagel and tasty cream cheese. Clean location and friendly service. Coffee was decent, nothing to write home about.
This place is wildly located in Potsdam, NY and sticks out like a sorry thumb for how trendy and modern it is. The drinks and service are great and I come here a few times a month to get away from college and to study. The only complaint is that the drinks are really expensive which I assume they can get away with because they allow students to use Knight Card which is pretty much Monopoly money for students.
Other than there being no AC, the drinks and service were great. We ordered an Iced Vanilla Bean Latte and Mango Smoothie. Clean and modern coffee house. We would visit again next time in Potsdam.
A fun stop when I am passing through Potsdam. I usually buy a bag of bagels to take home. Don't think they have ever all made it. Just to hard to resist a soft chewy bagel. They're very good about packing the sweet and smelly bagels in separate bags.
A decent spot to get a sandwich on a bagel, or a bagel in general, which they make in house. Probably the best spot in the area for bagel/sandwich. They don't have everything like a Subway or anything like that but I'm sure if demand for a certain meat, cheese, or topping goes up they would consider getting it. Have a bunch of different varieties of bagels. I usually get the buffalo chicken or chicken bacon ranch on a everything wheat bagel.
Quite good bagels, "made fresh every day", with quite a few sandwiches on them as well. They sell "second-day" bagels at a pretty reasonable price, but the sandwiches are pretty pricey and will take a couple minutes. The restaurant setup is rather sparse and spacious; probably a good place to spend an hour or two working, but too small to invite a large group.
Bagels are good. Not NYC style if that is what you are looking for. Service is pleasant. It is kids working and if you go in the morning they are not quite awake yet but still friendly.
Loved this place. Bagel was delicious… onion with butter and cream cheese. Good coffee. Very nice atmosphere with upbeat mostly instrumental background music. Outlets at each booth to plug in devices. I did work on my laptop for a couple hours and noticed staff was very nice to everyone who came in, which was a constant stream of people, and they accommodated every special request. Also noticed there is a small meeting room (seats 8 comfortably) which is available for reservation.
Still the same delicious bagel sandwiches. This has always been a potsdam staple glad to see the name may have changed but the food is still what we know and love. Im partial to the garlic bagel pesto and chicken combination. Their spreads are.flavorful bagels chewy and delicious. With a large menu full of creative combinations.
A solid experience every time. The private room is a great feature. I do wish the menu would rotate a bit. Or less carb-heavy options were available. Like a to-go case or wraps or something. After a while the bagels catch up to ya.
Excellent food, dont bother trying to get delivery if you are not using a card though. You cannot place an order online without one, and the woman I just spoke to there, yes, working there speaking to me on the phone.... said she didnt know if I could order food over the phone and pay cash..... queue 10 seconds of awkward silence.... so I said thanks anyway, she apologized and hung up.
The Bagelry has been a staple in life since I was a child. From my youth until adulthood, this is where friends and family met up for our nostalgic Bagelry favorites. It has changed hands several times in my lifetime, but I would say that since it has been Park Bros, the quality has plummeted. I rarely go anymore, and when I do I am met with the dissapointment of not having my 1st or 2nd or sometimes even 3rd bagel choice. The bagels are not the quality I came to expect, and often seem stale. My order has been wrong more times than it has been right. I keep going back hoping to get the Buffalo Chicken bagel of the past, but sadly I don't think that exists anymore.
Ordered a $3 Bazoobie, drove all the back to Franklin county. No Bazoobie in the bag, and they no longer let you call the store.
You would get five starts if you EVER HAD ANY OF THE BAGELS I WANTED. Every single time I come here, no matter the time of the day it is, you don't have any garlic or everything left. Most of the time My only choice is poppy or wheat. If u run out every single day, make more the next time!!! I would understand if it was an occasional thing, but it never fails, its every time. And for the price you charge, I ought to be able to have the bagel I want!!!. today I was here before 1pm, and already u were out of every good bagel. Its so discouraging. Makes me not want to come here anymore.😡
Great food and coffee!... BUT... Almost ZERO Covid protocol as far as sanitary procedure. There is a high volume of business and customer exchange at every table or station. But nobody is sanitizing or even wiping tables between customers. Staff are busy. When I asked the girl at the check out about our table she hit about 1/8 of the table surface with a dry rag and tiny bit of sanitizer and gave a few meek rubs. I had to take over and show her how it's done. AT LEAST put the stuff out there so that customers can do it! In the last 5 trips (take out) I have NEVER seen a table or customer-surface get wiped down. There is a single pump bottle of sanitizer at the order counter. None at the pickup counter or anywhere else in the place that I've seen. That's it!! This place has 70% college student customer base. It was a known Covid hot spot at the height of the pandemic locally!!! Come on man. I'm not overly phobic about the virus, but the effort at protecting people here is truly lame.
Everyone that works there is really nice and joyful, and the coffee tastes great. Restaurant ambience is great and the bagel sandwiches taste good. The Bagels could be better though, they taste a bit stale or not as fresh bread as they could be. In terms of enjoyment I personally preferred Brueggers a bit more, in terms of freshness and enjoyment
The bagels aren't the best, the coffee is good. Great atmosphere. The Californian is great, I just wish they didn't use pre-made eggs.
Very nicely renovated. Waited a long time for my order. Chai Latte was really good. Bagels were hard and tough to chew. Coffee lid wasn’t put on properly so hot coffee spilled on me and my passenger car seat when I tried to take it out of the cup carrier.
Usually Park Bros is great. But today I went with a friend, and we both ordered a London Fog. The girl who was in charge of making our drinks went to a co-worker and asked how would he make one, now this didn't alarm me because I know there are different methods of making this drink. But as long as there is milk, tea, sugar, and cinnamon its all good. The girl made our drink without any milk. It was all just tea that she ended up steaming. It was one of the most bitter things I have ever tasted. Total waste of money for me today which sucks because this place isn't cheap. Park Bros is usually good for the price but not today. I am very sad.
Husband came into get us bagels ... he orders me chicken salad bagel on wheat .... they threw cold chicken salad on a rock hard bagel no cheese melted on top ...one bagel didn't even have salad on part of it . This isn't the first time of disappointment here last time we came in we ordered a cookie got charged for it and never was put in our bag .
I orded a hot chocolate and a pizza bagel from this place. The pizza bagel was pretty average but the hot chocolate was probably the worst I've ever had. Simply put it didn't taste like hot chocolate at all. It tasted like warm milk with essence of cup. If you want to go to a pretentious coffee shop there's a much better one across the street.
So I'm a writer, and I'm always looking for a place to sit and write with a decent cuppa coffee. Moved from New York City to the area, which means my array of choices narrowed considerably. Here's my observation, coming from Manhattan. Price gouging. A small peppermint mocha was nearly 7 dollars. Literally just a peppermint mocha with oat milk. This is more expensive than the ritziest cafés in Manhattan. I suspect that Park Brothers know they are one of only two gigs in town (the other is Jernabi's, and they close ridiculously early), so they know that they can get away with taking advantage of local students and the good people of the north country. "Eh" coffee. The coffee isn't even that good. Not sure if it's because these are robusto beans or if they're roasting them too long and they're burnt? Very tough to get a decent espresso drink. However, as you just heard, a small, non-modified drink is seven bucks. So get your drink first, and then ask for more milk/syrup/ whatever-you-need-to-make-it-palatable afterwards. Otherwise that small drink will end up being 10 bucks. Freezing cold. It's 80° outside, but it's so cold in here that your fingers can barely type. I put my computer bag over the vent in the back which helped some, but it's still bitterly cold. Playlist is wretched, with repetitive and massively annoying songs. Most people are here working on some kind of assignment, and this music is not conducive to cognitive activity. Staff said they cannot change the playlist because the owner has "mandated it." If they are trying to get folks to get their coffee/food and get out, this is one way to do it. There's not one thing on the menu that a gluten sensitive person can eat. It wouldn't be that hard to keep some gluten-free bread in the freezer so they can choose to make the sandwiches on it for people who can't eat gluten. Otherwise, the atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly.
I went on a Saturday morning 15 minutes after they opened for a dozen bagels. They were not warm and cutting through them felt like they were at least a day old. The variety was poor - no egg bagels? And 18$ for a baker's dozen bagels is way too much. The atmosphere and staff were great, and I can't speak for their coffee. If you're going for a sandwich, the freshness probably matters less. But if you're looking for a place to get some bagels for your family, this was disappointing.
After a year I came back with my family to try it again. The first two visits the sandwiches were delicious and well made. After two visits the sandwich quality went down, such as, the bagels were not toasted, the ingredients on my sandwiches were skimpy and of poor quality. My husband and I really like their coffee but the food (even though very tasty) is presented sloppy and stingy. The local has the perfect atmosphere a shame
Food was great! However there is a young lady that was working this morning...or not working as she says but was working/cooking...could hand me a piece of foil! Extremely rude! Never even an appology.
I've been coming here for years and now that there is new management and changes to the ingredients in the bagels and increase in prices, not too impressive. They used to deliver to the local town for college students... but that's no more either!
Super expensive prices for subpar food and drinks. Bagels are meh, really bad for NY bagels. Seating is a bit weird, music is too loud. Overall negative experience. Do your research, this is not a good place to spend your money. Horrendous owner.
This place has become a fast food franchise. Used to get a meal for your money, now they raised prices for a snack. Asked for a Toasted bagel, then add the chicken salad and melt the cheese. I get a raw bagel with a portion meant for a single slice with melted cheese. Used to be a Need to stop off every time we visit old stomping grounds. NEVER again!
Bland, lame, coffee (how do you make a chocolate cherry latte taste...like nothing). By the way, a fun idea to not alienating your customer base would be to not talk about how the super bowl star is "immoral and disrespectful". If I wanted to hear jaded sheltered people talk about how they hate everything, I'd redownload facebook. Boring, tired, and just lame. Freedom of speech, you can think that way...and I can spend my money literally anywhere else.
