Really really behind, but the young lady at the drive thru tonight at 1:50 am was SO sweet. She was holding that place together. I hope the managers give her her accolades!
We went and had breakfast here and watched an older gentleman and lady clean the kid’s area. They took such pride in cleaning that area. It was so immaculate! And they were so incredibly nice!! Cleanest McDonald’s I’ve been to and will be back!
I stopped by around 4:30 a.m. when I couldn’t sleep, and the staff here were so kind and welcoming. Every time I come through this location, I’m greeted with the same kindness. It makes such a difference to start the day with people who are genuinely friendly. Thank you for starting my day with a smile :)
I just visited this McDonald’s and ordered through the drive-through. The service was good, and I’m not blaming the staff. As I’ve mentioned in my previous reviews, McDonald’s taste is usually consistent across locations. However, I noticed two small things at this location that could use a little more care: 1️⃣ Fries quantity felt less than usual. Since we’re paying for it, consistency in portion size really matters. 2️⃣ Burger bun was over-toasted, and I could clearly taste it, which affected the overall experience. I’ve visited many McDonald’s locations — some prepare burgers perfectly, with the right crispiness, sauces, and balance. Here, the preparation felt a bit random rather than professional. This is not a bad review — just honest feedback. Some customers may get a perfect order, some may not. I’m only sharing what I experienced so the franchise can improve consistency. If this is taken care of, I’d be more than happy to update my review. Thank you.
I'm not sure what it is, but I always have problems with the staff at McDonald's. Doesn't matter which location I go to, but they're all inept. I think it's their system that's so beyond screwed up. For instance when ordering on the app, you give them a code, which is nowhere near the receipt number, which would make things a billion times easier. The food itself is very basic. I personally love the Egg Mcmuffin. They have the most bland and boring burgers on the planet. I only eat them when there's nothing else within a thousand miles.
Visited this café recently and unfortunately, it wasn’t the best experience. I had placed a mobile order for the Peppermint Cold Coffee, only to find out it wasn’t available when I arrived. After talking with the staff at the counter, I opted for the Iced Caramel Coffee instead as a replacement — but the flavor was off, oddly salty, and definitely not what I expected. Also felt like it did not have Caramel at all! While the team was polite and helpful throughout, the drink itself left me disappointed. I might think twice before returning next time.
If this is the location in front of HEB in Prosper, the service is SLOW and the young lady at the first window was RUDE. Would not even look at me when giving me back my card. Very cold The young man at the second window was polite and wished me a good day. He was the redemptive part of my visit.
Extremely unhappy. People, Check your food before you drive off. I wanted to try the Double Cheesey jalapeño bacon QPC. Went and picked it up and paid. Sat in traffic to get home and it’s not even a double meat, it’s a freakin single meat. I’m pissed because I was charged for a double, but with traffic the way it is out here, I would spend more in gas and time to go back up there to get the correct burger, than the difference in the price of the double and single. I have had coworkers go back up there multiple times after getting food and coming back to work because they don’t listen to your order, charge you for the items, but give you the wrong thing. Just go to a different McDonalds.
We went to the drive thru about 615pm the person taking the order was rude and unprofessional. He? Seemed to have an attitude and clearly did not have customer service training. Our order had a mistake do to the associates lack of training. We will not be going back. It was an unpleasant experience.
We had a bad experience with this McDonald’s multiple times. The person at the drive thru was not there. Some of the items were missing. In my previous experience, the burgers were soggy. The customer service wasn’t good.
Late evening drive thru wait time is terrible. If a specific order is taking time, other locations ask that specific customer pull over to wait and serve other customers. This location doesn't do that and the queue is stalled for 15 - 20 mins.
Obviously open sat there for 15 minutes at the drive thru at 1120 PM for NO ONE to come on the speaker and were inside just standing there. No one took my order or acknowledged me I get it’s fast food but at LEAST take my order or acknowledge I exist!!
So I tried to order my food and the worker was awful and he didn’t serve me, he didn’t have a good attitude, then I went to the window and he told me that I couldn’t order. Therefore this is the worst McDonalds that I have ever been too, he honestly ruined my favorite food hot spot. I hate to say this but he should be fired, this is ridiculous, I would rather them hate they’re job and act like they like it just like chick fil a but they have to be this improper when I’m just trying to order my food. I am not a bad customer, I just had a really unwelcoming sad experience.
I don’t know if anyone reads these but I have to warn you guys if you get food at this location only go through the drive thru!! They seem to prioritize the drive thru above all else. DO NOT EVER DO CURBSIDE. I’ve waited 30 minutes for food and went in and it wasn’t even started yet and then I waited 20 minutes for one hash brown. I understand business are understaffed and over worked right now so just do yourself a favor and go through the drive thru only. Staff are usually nice and food is usually hot and fresh but if you want the best experience and fastest service drive thru is your best bet.
INCOMPETENCE IS ON THE MENU. The management here is a joke. On a holiday to have the excuse that you’re short staffed is unacceptable. That is a reflection on your management being substandard and not scheduling properly. The lobby was completely ignored. A 40 minute wait for chicken nuggets and two snack wraps. And then waiting an additional 10 minutes to get a refund. The manager stood at the fry baskets just staring. The staff wouldn’t even look toward the lobby. Not even to apologize for the delay. No communication. Just nothing. Don’t waste your time, energy or money. Avoid at all costs. Go to the one 1.5 miles down the road.
This McDonald’s always gives me trouble some of the employees always have an attitude especially in the night time. If something is wrong with my order and I talk to them about it they tend to not be pleased to fix it. I remember going one morning and I had asked the lady at the window if I could have some strawberry jam and she mumbled in Spanish complaining even though my girlfriend that speaks Spanish sitting next to me understood the lady and she made sure she did too. I don’t know what up or why people don’t like to work there but I’m very frustrated getting this treatment almost everytime I go here
Door dashing, Waited 30 mins for 20 nuggets and two McFlurrys, left with no food and missed out on a dash because i get paid per dash. Definitely needs more staff and better management. Will not be returning, will not recommend. I feel bad for the customer who didn’t receive their food.
Ordered the fish sandwich in drive through around 11:30 pm , person taking the order had no courtesy / didn’t greet or say thank you after placing the order , I asked specifically to make fish FRESH because I pay the money for fresh product not soggy , attitude of the manager or the kid on the drive through felt like he has been forced to do the job with no courtesy , very arrogant in approach … when I took the first bite it was just warm bread and fish was cold and soggy , I went back to the driveway and asked the same person to make it again and make it fresh so he started arguing and saying that he watched it was made fresh ,,, I was like NAHHH I know my fish sandwich when it’s fresh and he question how do I know and then questioned did I took a bite from the sandwich ( a tone that if I took a bite then he will not going to remake it ) so I told him I took a bite and that how I know it’s a soggy fish and not fresh ,, then he disregard and used harsh tone “ GO TO THE NEXT WIDNOW “ as if I pissed him off ( it should be the other way that we are customers and paying you to buy product ) … he grab my sandwich box with bad attitude and throw in trash can as showing his anger … ( he has lots of tattoe) I would suggest to the franchise owner to please fix your customer service and have kids go ti training on how to be courteous to customers ,,,,, Very very bad customer service …. Just fyi I threw the sandwich after getting the new fresh one Becuz I was thinking what if they guy SPIT on my sandwich … I would not return to this location…… I would rather drive eldorado location which has great customer service and food
I came last week in evening through drive through and it took me over 30min to move 2 car places. Had to leave without my food or a refund. Tried again tonight and it’s been over 20min waiting after ordering and they just stuck their head out of the pickup window and asked what I ordered.
I ordered thru the drive through a #9 medium with no pickles & a powerade, i also used the app & ordered a large fry & a plain cheeseburger in which I did not recieve due to the young lady that took my order took off my order once I reached home thinking my order was correct I find 2 cheeseburgers in the bag I call to speak to the manager (Devin) I was told to come back & he would give me an extra fry for my inconvenience only to be told the order wasn't taken correctly. Now I do not live 5 minutes away in fact I live 20minutes away to be talked at as if im attempting to steal a freaking cheeseburger is ridiculous when I placed my order, the board read what I ordered then was changed. To have to drive back wait in line because you're short staffed & screwing up others orders is a inconvenience I was you had a lady waiting 45min for 2 happy meals. It took 30 min for 1 cheeseburger I wasted more gas than what my meal cost, get it together
I had a disappointing experience at this McDonald’s drive-thru. The person taking my order seemed extremely frustrated and impatient, rushing through the process without giving me a chance to speak properly. After waiting a long time in the drive-thru lane, I still didn’t receive my order. I ended up going inside the restaurant, hoping for better service—but unfortunately, it was the same. The staff inside were rude and unresponsive. I had to wait again for quite a while just to get the food I had already ordered. Very poor customer service and a lot of unnecessary delays. Definitely not the kind of experience you expect from a brand like McDonald’s.
For some context, I am Hindu, and as a Hindu I strictly do not eat beef. When the new chicken big mac came out I was super excited to try it so I went to this McDonald’s and ordered a chicken big mac with extra big mac sauce, mcchicken, and a small fries. I order at the location to go, and they finish my order in like 5-7 mins and I grab my bag and leave. When I get home I open up the box ready to try this new chicken big mac and I see two beef patties in the middle of my sandwich… I was genuinely shocked at how badly they messed up my order. I checked my receipt to make sure I ordered a chicken big mac and it clearly said chicken big mac on there. So I called them up and the lady on the phone was pretty passive aggressive in the way she talked. I just told her what happened and she was kind of doubting what I was saying and said are you sure you ordered the chicken one, show us the receipt and all that. So, I went back and the place closes by 10 and I was standing outside the window hoping someone would notice and come open the door and even though the workers were walking by none of them noticed. I then had to wait in the drive thru line for a good 10 minutes just to tell them that they messed up my order and drive up to the window to receive a regular chicken big mac without the extra big mac sauce that I ordered. Overall, this location and their employees seem very careless and I was just so dissatisfied with the service and food I wasn’t able to properly enjoy my chicken big mac. Do better in employing people Mcdonalds.
