From the delicious fried chicken wings, catfish, greens, candied sweet potatoes (yams), purple hull peas, fried okra, to the corn bread, baked chicken, grilled fish, and pink lemonade slushes, you can’t go wrong with ordering! It is AA/Black owned and operated.

We were visiting from Texas and while near the capitol, decided to try some authentic soul food. They were very patient in explaining how to order ala cart entrees along with the meal menu. The fried catfish and pork chops took me back over 50 years in my grandmother's kitchen. Absolutely worth the wait! My go-to spot next time I come in town.

We are on our way from Harrisburg PA to Scottsdale AZ. And all I wanted was some soul food. We went to 4 different places that were completely closed down. I was about to have a mental breakdown, my boyfriend found this place. Called, they were open. Everyone was so nice, and the catfish, Mac and cheese, yams, cornbread were all just what I needed. This restaurant was the highlight of my trip to Arkansas!!! The atmosphere, service and food was amazing!!! I wanted to find a place that was good with many options for our group and Brewster's 2 did not disappoint. I would go back without a second thought!!!

And if you have / had a big momma, you know what I'm talking about. If you’ve ever had the honor of dining at Sylvia’s in Harlem like I have, then you already know the standard I’m talking about. And let me tell you, this place delivers. The fried pork chop, cat fish and chicken wings? Crispy, seasoned to perfection, and so juicy it had me doing a happy dance in my seat (my sister and bestie know what this means). The collard greens? Slow-cooked with love and just the right amount of kick. And don’t even get me started on the mac & cheese—baked, creamy, and straight-up sinful in the best way possible. Don’t even get me started on that melt in your mouth pound cake that set my whole soul on 🔥 🫠 Beyond the food, the vibe is everything. Warm smiles, a family feel, some great conversation with the son of the woman who made it all happen, and a space that welcomes you like you’re an old friend coming back for Sunday dinner. This is a black-owned gem that deserves all the love and support because they are putting heart, history, and some serious soul into every single plate.
