Im not sure what these other reviews are about but I’ve been here several times now and ordered out. The food is always consistently good. The service is great- the servers actually smile and talk. The decor is amazing. The music is on point. They have food, drinks, music and Hookah. What else can you ask for? I mean if you’re looking for bland food and a quiet atmosphere dont come here. But good food and good vibes- definitely come.

Beautiful restaurant, delicious FRESH food, and consistent friendly service. I've been going to CD since 2019, and they've evolved from a bakery to an official restaurant. Drinks are great 👍🏽 BBQ chicken chow mein and chicken fried rice are my favorite. However, I am yet to order a menu item that wasn't enjoyable. This is the closest Chinese-Guyanese cuisine that reminds me of Guyana 🇬🇾. Keep up the great work, ladies!

I travel to find hidden sweet spots I have got to admit CD or as I found out Caribbean Delights delivered I was not disappointed I got the chicken fried rice with its toppings must have grated carrots,cabbage and must have scallions with a signature brown sauce not forgetting real pepper sauce people it hit the spot and a little blast from the past school style cassava chips with mango sauce was🔥.And with that being said the food was served by an amazing and very courteous and friendly staff try them guys you will not be disappointed well deserved 💯I will definitely be back.

CD Restaurant is a hidden gem in Queens! The food was absolutely amazing everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The chicken wontons were crispy, the fried chicken with lo mein was so satisfying, and the jerk lamb was seasoned perfectly. The shrimp rasta pasta was honestly my favorite creamy, spicy, and packed with shrimp. Great portions, great vibes, and definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you love Caribbean and Guyanese-Chinese fusion!

So happy this place reopened! It is takeout only at the moment but they’ll resume dine in when spring comes around. This place is the only Caribbean restaurant that you could taste the love in the food in Queens. We ordered the mix wontons, jerk chicken lo mein, general tso with fried rice, and the CD special fried rice. Everything was 10/10 amazing! 😍

I planned a dinner here for my grandmothers 79th birthday. Let me tell you, we had a large party of 32 guests and the night was FANTASTIC. The owner was very polite and accommodating. I haven’t been to the restaurant prior. She helped me make the reservation and answered all my questions without hesitation. I was also allowed to come in earlier to drop off a cake and set up the reserved space with balloons. Throughout the night, she checked with me to make sure everything was okay. That was extremely nice of her. Honestly, the service here was great. Our lovely waiters *Lily* and *Rahaeena* were very professional and attentive to the group. They were patient taking all the orders and bringing out food, drinks, etc. Shout out to them and the owner. I also want to give a big shout out to the bartender making the drinks, and the staff behind the scenes in the kitchen preparing the food. The food and the drinks were mad good. We ordered over 30 entrees and appetizers and the presentation of the all the plates were a 10/10. The restaurant all around has great photo ops, from the beautiful flowery decor, to the food and drinks. The vibe was GREAT here. Everyone in the party had an awesome time. I highly recommend this place.

First off before you enter the restaurant the Music from the live dj sets a great mood and ensures fun vibes. As you step into the establishment, the decor gives elegance. The food was delicious, being able to eat some authentic guyanese food, was nice. Everything was well seasoned, and there was a wide variety to choose from. Our server Lilly was absolutely amazing, she catered to our party of 15, she really went above and beyond to make sure that my birthday experience was one to remember. She was attentive, and checked in often to make sure everything was great. I would honestly go back to CD just for the great service from Lilly. If you guys decide to visit CD, make sure you check out my girl Lilly 💯

This glitter sparkle awesome restaurant and bar is fabulously decorated, even the bathroom was a photo opt moment. Sunday afternoon lunch was so delicious. Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Curry were amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive. It opened in January and for all you lovers of this cuisine, you must try it out. If you really really like or love Caribbean Delights Restaurant, this is the big Sister to that restaurant. You will definitely love this atmosphere and worthy of praise eats.

Dinner was amazing, as always. However, they can use more staff for better service. They have one person (sometimes 2) running around doing everything. It would be more efficient if they get someone else, especially on busy weekends.

Decent prices. The food is ridiculously good, just a little overpriced. Staff and service is top notch. The crowd is also generally pretty good and friendly. Place is clean and decor is modern. Parking is also pretty good.

Sunday night and all the booths were filled. I was pleasantly surprised that this spot was open. They have food, drinks, and hookah. I ordered the coconut sugarcane mojito which was good. Sweet and coconutty. My friend and I split the wontons which our waitress graciously recommended. It seemed like most of the things on the menu were pretty good. We got the trio for the wontons. They are small ale tasty and come with a little sauce. The shrimp is the large shape, the crab is the little circular one, and the square one is the chicken. All delicious.. especially with the sauce. The ambiance in the spot is really cute and chic. Employees were helpful and friendly. The music was great. Reggae, dancehall, and soca hits playing the whole night. Like I said the bar was crowded and the booth seating was crowded but there wasn't anyone dancing so most people were enjoying their meals and drinks. It was a nice calm night with good music in the background. Looking for something local. I'd come back.

The food was good...the mix with fried rice was better than my General Tao with lo mein. The service was good and the DJ was FANTASTIC. We were leaving as he was getting revved up! The first thing I will say is that this place has potential! It’s nice to have a nice Guyanese restaurant away from Little Guyana (Richmondhill, NY). The decor is modern and cute, clean and the bathrooms are clean as well. The bar seats about 10 and there are 2 swings, how fun! The food was pretty decent as well, you’ll be able to find better if you wanna head to Richmondhill ( Tropical Jade’s food is to die for!). Now for the bad stuff, the service is TERRIBLE! The servers clearly have never received any training in restaurant service and hospitality! The interaction is awkward, food takes a long time to be served, there’s no personal space and the drinks were beneath bottom shelf liquor, it gave me that immediate cheap-liquor headache. The place is a step up from the usual drunk-infested holes in Richmondhill, but the service needs to come up to par with the aesthetics of the restaurant. I would make a few suggestions to the managers: -Train your wait staff not to lean over people while taking orders or serving the food. -Also explain to them what menu items are. I asked my server what Cha cha Ki chicken is and her response was, “you know, cha cha ki chicken...”! NO, clearly I didn’t know, that’s why I asked. I then followed up to ask if it has some sauce or something on it and she said “yeah it does and also some other things”. What exactly is other things? - Train servers how to connect with their tables. She never made eye contact after passing us a hundred times after taking our order, food took more than 45 minutes to come, though we got basic things like fried rice. - Have a real drink menu and offer the option of upgrades to top shelf liquor instead of making sub-par cocktails. Train the bartenders or hire a legit bartender. - DJ Steve was playing some legit throw back songs, kudos to him, but keep in mind that not only Indo-Guyanese dine there and as such may not appreciate repeats of Babla and Kanchan. The best thing about this place is the food and location, but you’ll continue to have a hard time filling those tables if the seated dining service does not improve. Hoping the best for ya! ❤️ UPDATE: I’ve visited this restaurant again since this review, drinks are still terrible. Also, I saw an older Guyanese lady at the bar making cocktails, and she was using the small metal caps on the liquor bottles as a measure for the cocktails. The same size you’d see on soda bottles for example! 😂 How cheap can they get? They pay next to nothing for alcohol, overcharge on the drinks, and yet they can’t be honest enough to make a proper drink without skimping? The restaurant needs people with experience, not your aunts and cousins and friends without experience who just need a job! 😳

i got the Chinese chicken, crab, and shrimp. tThe food was delicious until i bite into the chicken. the chicken taste like rotten meat. i was disappointed after that. Coming here on the weekdays is a big NO. There was only only person working. she was the server and the bartender. My first drink was a lychee martini which was delicious but my second one was not good. She put too much milk from the lychee with no liquor. My husband then went to ask her to put some liquor which she put too much of. I was really disappointed since it’s was my 31st anniversary.

Edit: the food is hit or miss. Ended up with substandard food on last visit. This place is like going into a cave at night. They also charge you tips even for take out?? The food is decent and so are the drinks, but it isn't good value.

Ill start off with the good.... decor was very nice small space but can definitely see a good time there. Dj was hit or miss. now the food cha cha chicken is a winner rice could use more flavor. Now the pitcher situation if you know you dont do sangria well take it off the menu put pitchers of rum punch and margaritas 40 dollars a pitcher is reasonable trust me it will do great. Nice atmosphere, food was pretty good but cold which leads me to the service ....it needs some improvement in terms of speed, our waitress tried her best and was very nice throughout but she was just overwhelmed by the number of tables occupied and waiting on her but she still kept a smile on. It took over half an hour just to get a couple of beers . Their prices I believe is on par with most similar businesses. If the wait service was faster I would've probably went with 4 to 4.5 stars......just my experience for a first time visit.

Came here for dinner yesterday. Walking in, the atmosphere was beautiful but a little dark. Waitress seated us but she wasn’t so welcoming. She gave us a menu & came back 5 min later to take our order but we weren’t ready to make one. As seated , I was wondering why weren’t given any water. I ordered a Pina colada and it tasted more like a virgin so I kept calling it a “milkshake”. My partner and I had selected the Chinese meals mainly and the food was decently good. The waitress never checked on our table once . Before we left, water was asked to be brought to our table and we still did not get it. I give this place a 5/10.

I have been to this restaurant once. They lack glory great customer service. I did not feel welcomed for the first time simply because when we entered the restaurant nobody seated us. We had to go to them. We were then seated close to the door which was uncomfortable. The waiter took a good 20-30min to ask us what were we ordering. They didn’t give us a pitcher of water. The drinks were good but not the best. I the food was good. This was my first time eating Guyanese, Chinese food. I think it tasted better than actual original Chinese food.The presentation could be a little better. The utensils were out and not covered with napkins which I think is not sanitary. The prices on the menu was fair but when we got the bill we were fooled. It we sky high. I was like whoa. If they had better customer service I wouldn’t mind. The waiter was nice but it was hard to get her attention when I needed something (too laid back). If I come to a restaurant I shouldn’t have to walk to the waiter and ask for what I want. This is a restaurant where waiter should be attentive to customers needs. In this case we felt pretty weird that we couldn’t ask what we needed when we needed it.

Nice Place. Service is extremely extremely slow! The food is 10/10 Good portions. Drinks 9/10 even thou it was hair in my drink it was strong. Passion fruit mojito. Hookah was 9/10 it burned kinda fast and it took 35 minutes to come after she took the order. Overall 3 stars 7/10 because of the service. I would definitely get take out from here.

Why is it so long to get appetizers and food?? My party of four waited an hour and 10 minutes just to get their appetizers of fried dumplings / samosas and wings I couldn't believe it. Now keep in mind I arrived an hour into my group already being there and I placed an entree order and wound up having to cancel it within 45 minutes because everyone was done and they still had not started my order. Our server was nice, and explained it will take a while I just don't understand why. The place is not that big, and it wasn't fully booked out. Anything fried doesn't take an hour...but idk what limitations they have in their kitchen. The place is nicely decorated, they had a DJ playing Caribbean music. The drinks were really cute. All I managed to eat were the wings which were pretty tasty. The black pudding was mediocre. The other folks seemed ok about their food though I think the long wait frustrated everyone. I saw this place on IG and couldn't wait to try it but I was honestly disappointed in the service time.

Super pricey and you'd expect Caribbean food but then it's like Caribbean Chinese mix and you get a little confused. The drinks are good, the DJ is fire, but the food is somewhat lacking. I had a bone in most of the stuff I ordered and in the chilli garlic chicken I ordered every single bite was full of bone but the seasoning sauce was great. So make that boneless and we have a hit in terms of food. The food wasn't too special but I'd go again after 12 for the party life. Definitely a good club spot but eating there is questionable.

I ordered yellow rice with red beans and beef stew as my dinner...the lady who was serving behind the counter did not ask me if I wanted the beans on the side...she took it upon herself to pile a large mountain of red beans on top of the yellow rice and even adding beef stew as the last topping on my plate. I asked what's going on..her reply was not postive...I will not be going back to this place...

Customer service is awful! The lady was so rude when she said they only accept cash only! Also the roast beef fried rice had barely any beef and the rice had no taste! The wings were delicious!

I am Guyanese, I know what flavor is! After waiting 45mins for my food, while I watch everyone who ordered after me got theirs. The chicken was cold (probably microwaved it) no taste and dry, the fried rice had minimum veggies. The veggie lowmein was oily with broccoli being the only visible vegetable. And I was appalled that I had to ask about my order when I was sitting right there at the bar. Plus I had to pay a 4% charge for using a card.

Can't rate the place. We didn't get to try anything. It was my best friends birthday and she really wanted to try this place. She had been calling for a few hours with no answer. We decided to stop in because according to Google they were open. When we got there the young lady at the bar asked if we had a reservation, we told her no. She proceeded to tell us that we should have called to make a reservation. We let her know that we did, several times, but no one picks up and then she has the nerve to say "sorry, yea we're busy". Completely unprofessional place. Very nice looking though.

I would like to start off by saying, that I’ve been to this place several times, the experience often varies, but it’s been mostly positive. However, my last experience was not enjoyable. The service lacked in general despite the entire inside being empty. The other issues was with my bill. I was provided the bill and then tipped in cash, however when my bill was posted to my account exactly 10$ extra was added to the bill-without being notified. While, the amount is minor & doesn’t make a difference; it leaves me feeling like I am unable to trust the restaurant with credit/debit related purchases. Why would an extra amount have been posted to my charge, if I provided the tip in cash? I would recommend carefully looking at your bill and payment methods.

Went here because of a few videos I saw on tik tok. Needless to say I wasn't Impressed. The girl at the bar was the bar tender, hostess, and waitress.. more staff is definitely needed . I ordered the house special rice and a side of pepper shrimp. The rice was really oily. We had ordered drinks within 10 mins of being there and waiting 30 mins for said drinks. To make it worse we waited well over a hour and a half for our food. Unfortunately I will not be visiting here again.

Went here last night 02/10/2023 with some girlfriends looking to have the teddy bear shareable and the fishbowl since it’s their signature however, when we sit down at 4pm we’re told there is no bartender. We ordered food and left around 7pm still no bartender. The waitress was so nice to at least try to make us some basic drinks and her service was great!! It’s disappointing to call yourself CD BAR when you don’t even have a bartender or someone to fill in when your bartender doesn’t show. We really wishes we were able to get the full experience. Very unsatisfactory not having a bartender at a place you call a bar and restaurant.

I don’t know if the food is bad but I would say the customer service is, we looked up the restaurant to make sure it wasn’t reservations and it was open. We went in and took our seat but were told that it was “reservation only” yet there wasn’t anything stating it was reservation. We asked why it wasn’t online they said they do it sometimes, like what??? So we had to leave hungry… ITS RESERVATION ONLY PEOPLE!!!

Food used to be good but not anymore. it's like they don't care what they serve anymore. Somedays it's stale with meat half cook someday it's drowned in soy sauce. After you eat, it makes you sick. Don't waste your money for no good food, who knows how long the pre cook the food for !

The spot was dirt. I went because i saw it featured on ig. It not as advertised. The staff was rude and it smelled like a dirty mop inside. Nedless to say i didn't want to try the food. Gas is still high do yourself a favor dont waste your time.

The food is mediocre, not original at all. It doesn't separate them from the rest of the West Indian spots in Queens Village. I have honestly had better at hibiscus located a few blocks down. I noticed these restaurants carry the same kind of food, just a different name / decor. Now on to my order, disappointment is my only word. The fried-rice was hard and the chicken was on the tough side which is sad because my wife and I were actually looking forward to trying their food out. The lowmein I ordered looked more like regular Guyanese chowmein and too salty. When I went to pick up my food, it was clear the owner(s) didn't have any regards for the Covid- 19 precautions within restaurants since they were merely over packed with customers. The workers /owners were either not wearing face masks or didn't have them on properly. It's clear they didn't care to follow the rules and regulations accordingly from what I saw. If you want to go somewhere safe and not be at high risk for catching the virus its best to stay away from this place for now at least. Very reckless and Very disappointing!!!! Won't be coming here again

Went to have a drink this evening at the bar with my family. Went to close my tab, the bartender came back telling me my card declined. I took a look at the card and it was not even my name. Then when i got the slip back to sign, the charge was 230+ when it should have been closer to $140. I took a look at the charges and there were not even things I ordered. When i told the bartender that there were many drinks on this tab that I didn't order. Her response was "you said put your friends drink on your tab". I did state that I would pay for my friends drink that he ordered. But not every single thing he requested. When I intended to pay for my friends one drink i ended up paying for his whole order.. including his GF shot of casamigos who i dont even know. I suggest to go back to using pen and paper if you can't keep track of orders.

Walked in to the CD lounge , just the two of us . Most of the indoor restaurant is empty , multiple tables opened , took away all the chairs at the bar, an hour and a half wait to sit at a table but where is everyone ? What the hell! Who do these people think they are ? Too many rules and regulations in this place ! Come down from your high horse ! You are just another regular bar in queens ! Heading to hibiscus where they are more accommodating ! Peace !

Just went and bought food from them today is Wednesday I sat had 2 beers and appetizer and order take out and our bill they auto add gratitude and plus service fee.And that was not the issue the problem was when I got home my jerk chicken lomin was spoiled.I try calling several times no answer. Had to make the trip all the way back their to give then the lomin back...So dam disappointed

Called at 7pm on 3/4/22 to ask if i need a reservation or can i just walk in, i was told reservation is needed. I told the young lady on the phone it’s just for 2 people. She said the manager needs to schedule the reservation . She took my name and number. 10pm passed no one ever called me me back to i followed up. Same girl answered. She stated the manager was not in yet but I’ll get a call back. It’s 3/5/22 no one ever called me back. That’s poor customer service. I was willing to travel from upstate NY to support this black owned business which just proved to be a disappointment.

Awful service.. took 1hr to get a drink only one server for outside service.. they forgot to charge us for shots after we already paid. Then was hostile about payment that they forgot to charge. Would never dine here again. Plus food was awful

This is a beautiful place and has the potential to be great however; they are always overcrowded they don’t care if all of their customers are standing around because there’s no seats available due,which is horrible if you are hungry and want a quick bite to eat. I wouldn’t go here again.

Made a reservation 4-5 days ago via their website. The booking assistant sent me text messsges that it couldn’t confirm. They opened at 2 today. I’ve been calling since 2pm no one answers either line then suddenly the 0535 # disconnects and won’t accept callm. . The vml is full. The other # ending 0980 I’ve called 20 times since 2pm and still noanswer. Even sent a message via instagra. Totally unprofessional. Haven’t even visited but this is no a good first impression.

Rude waitress..no Discipline and how to speak to customers.. no customer service., very disappointed first time coming there . 6 of us and had to walk right out. went to Hibiscus a few blocks away, where we were treated with very good service, asking about reservations, she should explain that in a nice way..didnt even care that we were leaving. this is how owners lose customers and business

This was my second attempt at trying to eat there, I guess it's not ment to be. We didn't have a reservation, no one answers the phone when you do call. (Maybe it was my timing, will never know). Didn't feel welcoming when I entered the restaurant. I walked in and couldn't figure out where to go. I went to stand close to the bar. I was able to get someones attention when they were zooming by. She asked if I had a reservation, I said no, she asked how many, I said two she said okay, one sec. She moved around a bit, then came and said the bartender said we can't be seated but the three ladies at the bar might be leaving not sure when but we can wait for them if we like. Uuuummmm we left.

Be very careful with CD Lounge. Always review your bill before you pay. We were charged twice for the same drink bill, when disputed with the manager , we were brushed off and never reimbursed . Chose not to make a scene and decided to leave it alone. Will never ever go back to CD lounge . The 3 female owners are always looking to make a quick dishonest buck on their unaware drinking customers ! They are also extremely rude and not very customer friendly . I have been to many West indian bars over the years in Queens , great experiences in Nest , Mantra Lounge, Ross Code , Hibiscus and never such a bad attitude and bad experience . Beware !

Complete waste of time management needs to handle it better, food was nothing special they need a new chef and staff. Upon arrival the half the restaurant was empty and no one was there to greet or seat us I had to was around looking for the waitress / bartender. She wasn’t friendly or polite and she told us we couldn’t sit down because those seat were reserved. I had to stand up at the bar all night. The worst part the was the ppl who they were reserved for never came.

If i could leave 0 stars i would. We called and asked about the wait and she told us that we can just come in being i have a flight to catch. Drove an hour to the restaurant just to not be greeted when we get in, then to be told that we cant be served for another hour even though the restaurant was basically empty mind you she sat someone else right before she finally spoke to us. Didn’t even care that the person on the phone lied to us. Left hungry & disappointed. Do not support this business!

Tried to dine here at 4pm on a Saturday. There were people seated at 1 booth and the other booths were empty. Was told that because they have a group of 20 people expected in 30 minutes that they weren't able to seat us. I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that they were refusing to seat a table of 4 in anticipation of this group of 20 who weren't even there yet. By the time they arrived we probably would've been done and gone. I won't even bother wasting my time here again.

Poor service. Bad table manner on waitresses and management. Half the items on the menu were unavailable. Came to dinner for 5 and I Was overcharged ! When the receipt came back and I made it aware to the waitress that she overcharged me, she made up 20 excuses before refunding me. They thought we were drunk and they could’ve gotten a way with charging an extra $150. After the refund was issued, the waitress came back with a nastier attitude. As though we did something wrong to them. Watch your bill !! 4% charge if you use your card. Lmaoo. Never again. Food and drinks are trash. Over rated. The view inside is nice. That’s it. Don’t go.

There was No Hostess at the door to Greet you upon arrival. The restaurant was empty and the Bar tender came from behind the bar to tell us they were fully booked for the night. I was Pregnant and they turned me and My Husband away. We were not even allowed to sit at the Bar. There was no way to make reservations in advanced. Was very confused. Were do you even make reservations. Bad first experience. We weren’t even able to try the food.

The interior was nice, however you walk in and there is no one to greet you and soir was my first time there, we headed towards the bar and still no acknowledgement. Albeit, it was busy, that is no excuse for not giving good clientele service. I ordered the duck, after 30 minutes they came back to tell me that they ran out of duck. Maybe on a slower night they are stellar in their service, for me I don't see them in my future.

Let me start off by saying I don't really write reviews. But this place was extremely horrible. They don't even deserve 1 star. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My reservation was for 6pm on mothers day. I made a reservation for a party of 12. Half of our party came in at 6pm. When we walked in we was not greeted by anyone. I had to go and ask to be seated. We were seated till 7:00pm. The service was horrible. We ordered drinks and appetizers we got those till 7:45. It was 8:15 and we was still receiving appetizers to eat. A few people in my party had work. They had to leave without eating. This place should hire more staff. And they don't treat customers right. I spoke to someone who "claims" she's the manager. Her name is WAHEEDA R. if she's the manager I hope no restaurant have a manager like her. Cause she's terrible and rude. If you're managing a place you're suppose to have a table ready for a party of 12 and have enough staff. She's blaming it on the kitchen. A manager suppose to prep for adequate staff and enough cooks for an occasion like mothers day. If you're a manager (WAHEEDA). DO BETTER WITH YOUR TIME MANAGEMENT. needless to say we did not even eat there. We just canceled our food orders and went somewhere else. And on top of all that mess they had the nerves to charge me gratuity.When I couldn't even enjoy a meal there. Also they are very racist towards Indian people. One of the worker cursed at me and told me not to f*** yell. That's the way these people train their staff. The manger also lied and said that people are also outside ordering food . When I came outside there was not a single soul in sight. I derseve to be upset cause we have been waiting 2 hours for some food. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Food was okay. Drinks were far too sweet and we expressed this to our server Marissa Mai who was extremely rude to our party. She did not even greet us when we arrived to the restaurant. We stood around for 20 mins before being seated. I would not recommend this restaurant based on the service alone. Our server was very rude and disrespectful to our party. She refused to give us enough to go bags to take our food home. Gratuity was unfortunately included- but she did not deserve a penny worth for her poor service. We will not be coming back to this establishment and neither should you!

My sister was visiting from Florida and wanted to go somewhere with a nice vibe and music, so I chose this place. On goggle it says open and the hours for 6/8 is from 11:30am - 12am. I called and made an 8PM reservation. Took an uber from Long Island to the restaurant, the car pulled up @ 7:55 and the shutter for the restaurant is down. I called back to make sure the restaurant didn't move. The girl that answered said, the kitchen is open but the bar is closed, the owner was suppose to open at 7PM and they are not here yet. while trying to decide where to go next, the shutter opened @ 8:08PM. We walked into the restaurant and none of the 3 ladies acknowledged us, we walked over to the bar to talk. We were told they were running a late. The little lady (very vulgar lady) behind the counter cussed us out and told us to get the F out, they were running late, and the other 2 said they are ACCOMMODATING us??!! We are patronizing your restaurant, and you are accommodating us??!! They were all extremely unprofessional. Needless to say, we left. My husband had done some advertising for this place, so my sister called back when we got home to tell them to listen to his program on Monday (today), for the great review they will get. The woman said "oh yea, you mean the 2 intoxicated woman that came in"? that means, they are ready to dispute this review by making it seem as though we were drunk and misbehaved. I would not take this time to write this review if I was drunk, it's not something I ever do, this is actually my first review and I'm not a young girl.

The food was great but the customer service was terrible. Had to wait a while for someone to notice that we enter the premises and then to be seated. When seated had to wait 10 minutes to receive a menu. Got served finally but the waitress never checked back on us to ask if we were good, our glasses have been emptied for a while. We had to go to the bar and ask for someone to attend to us. Even after complaining of no one attending to us, they still didn't correct themselves. We waited 15 minutes after finally receiving our second drink to see if anyone would come to our table. No one did, we ended up going to the bar again to ask for the bill since we were not being attended to, and was becoming very frustrating. Nice place but customer service was awful. It was my first time there, and it will definitely be my last.

The ambiance and music was a good vibe. However my experience here was not the best, I haven’t seen my parents in 6 years and decided to go with this spot, since it brings back the feeling of home to them. I must say the service SUCKED!! The waitresses SUCKED!! We ordered over $200 in just appetizers and drinks and didn’t get to the main course yet. Because we weren’t ready. We were catching up and simply just enjoying spending the time with eachother after so many years. The waitress keeps rushing us out and giving us major major attitude. Even though we’ve added more things to our order each time we spoke with one of them regardless of the disgusting attitude we’ve received. Then as 6pm approached one of the waitress came over to the table boldly and said, we unfortunately need to ask you guys to leave as we have reservations and we will need the table. I felt so confused, as the entire restaurant was empty and it’s was just us LOL anyways it’s pretty, but that’s all it is.

I made a reservation for 6 guest two of my friends went on time however the waitress refused to have them sit at the spot until everybody else arrives . Right after another set of people came and they just took the reserved spot after I reached I told the waitress I reserved there she said I just gotta wait until they are finish and then I can have the table anyways I let it be …. We ordered cha chi kai chicken and chips and we got fish and we told the waitress about it and she was like oh no that’s not possible we don’t have any fish in stock but we could have seen the fish bone after eating it and also the meat was different when we showed her the bone we got she was like oh it’s because they use the same board to chop the chicken and fish .. which doesn’t make sense to me we ordered stuffs to take away and upon reaching at home we saw that it was completely different stuffs also they had items added on our bill that was paid off before for …

They charge both a 20% automatic gratuity AND a convenience fee. Honestly there are better Caribbean spots around Roy's Roti Shop has better food and their drink prices aren't that bad, they have hookah Cbar is a better vibe, and they also have hookah Admittedly the chicken wings were good though

Terrible customer service! They don't answer the phone, like ever, we called several times. We finally get someone and we try to make reservations and they told us they’re only doing walk-in. We get there and now the hostess is asking about reservations. We explained what we were told over the phone and the hostess or manager said there was nothing she could do if we didn’t have a reservation. The restaurant was nearly EMPTY so why couldn't she accommodate a walk-in like they said . Looks like they forgot they had planned a little bridal or wedding party when they told us to come. This was very inconsiderate especially since we took an uber from Manhattan to get there. If you decide to eat here make sure you get a name and confirmation otherwise they may send you back home hungry or looking for another place to dine which is not easy due to the area. Good luck 🙃🌚

Since this is a new restaurant the chef probably doesn't have that much experience cooking. The first order I placed was the fried rice special. The taste was ok but what was unbearable was the amount of oil in the food. My husband and I had food poisoning the same night. Today we decided to give them a second chance and ordered the roast duck lowmein. Same issue, there was way too much oil, the duck was tough to eat and the plantain wedges (not chips) were fried in the same old oil that needs to be changed. Would not recommend this place!
