Love this place; breakfast burrito and carnitas burrito hit the spot for us! The orders were generously sized and came with lots of chips and delicious salsa. Service was fast and friendly too!

The Wet Burrito was popular by all that are with me. I did like the Dry Carne Asada Burrito. Very tasty. The Flan was surprisingly good. Great job.

The seating is comfortable with views of all the TV screens from any seat. The dishes are served in decent portions. It is an enjoyable atmosphere.

This place is amazing!!!! You can tell they use quality meat. The carne asada plate is my favorite and the guacamole and homemade salsa are the best. The owners are always nice and go out of their way to make you happy. I come here frequently because I know it will always be delicious.

They make the best hard shell chicken tacos anywhere. And the salsa is the best around hands down and they got good beans and the guacamole is not bad either that with a beer you're all set to enjoy!

The best & only dish I've had here isn't a dish at all. It's a Burrito & one of the best you'll ever eat in Redondo Beach. Its simply called the Taco Burrito. It's exactly what it says it is, its taco filling rapped up in a flour tortilla. I always get one w Shredded Beef. I've nvr tried anything else but that & you can get it in your choice of meat but I recommend the shredded beef. Trust me on this, your gonna luv it...

Not to many restaurants where I like all the food, but this is one of the exceptions. I'm hooked on #15 steak green chilli plate w/extra guacamole and a flour tortilla. No fork necessary. The chips and salsa are excellent and the perfect compliment.

El torascos Mexican food this is a place that is extremely friendly and also gives you large portions of food and they never left your table empty if you were out of chips or dip there on top of it I’ve been eating here with my family and on my own of course for 21 years we love the staff very much we actually Have a longer hello greeting then usual we get to sit anywhere we want everybody does and then here comes the food be prepared because it’s very very delicious when we talked about going out for Mexican food which there are many in my area nobody answers we just go straight to el torascos and have a wonderful meal. The quality of the food was very good indeed. The decor was pleasantly air conditioned, with good quality furniture. The food was plentiful and any eggs or other dishes that you wanted were cooked freshly for you. Value for money here.

We printed some banners for Richie for marketing, and to show us his gratitude; he hooked up some "wet" burritos... I was not expecting so MUCH FLAVOR PACKED INTO A BURRITO!! WOWSERS! I MEAN.. WOWSERS.. let me tell you... the flavors IN THE RED SAUCE.. most places are buying canned goods.. but the DELICIOUS TANGY SWEET TOMATO SAUCE WAS AMAZING!!! DEFINITELY HOME MADE.. PERFECTLY SEASONED!!.. The STEAK!!! Most places; their meat is over seasoned with cheap salts.. the steak is OILY OR watery with from the steam sitting around all day.... So, I been ordering from here for awhile can remember how long but I’m ok with that because I’m happy to just eat here 😊 And not long ago I took my mom, dad and some friends to eat here and they loved it my mom actually said that she loved the tacos on taco Tuesday night special order! I only eat Carne Asada fries and the tortilla quesadilla with cheese and carne asada from here so, I have never tried something else ops. My mom said they are better than that place called El Indio between Carson St and Sepulveda Street on Western Ave. she told me that the tacos are more fresh and soft. She ordered Fish tacos and barbacoa. One item that wasn’t that good anymore was the tostadas but, I understand why they were about to close in 30 minutes better to get tostadas in the day time not when it’s almost time to closing time. I ordered carne asada fries that night and they were delicious yum 🤤 thank you!

We ate @ El Tarasco this past Sunday. We were welcomed with a warm greeting by the waitress. I started off with some ceviche (which was delicious and filling it's a must). And shrimp tacos that hit the spot. After walk down to the beach. Great location. Can't wait to go back.

El Tarasco has been one of my regular spots for years. Wife loves the spicy shrimp tacos but I stick with the Super Deluxe burrito. Endless chips and some of the best salsa I have tasted. Love this place!

My husband and I came in for dinner on December 8 around 5pm. We haven't been here probably in over 10 years. We were waited on by 2 ladies, ordered asada fries, chicken taco n taquitos and of course a bucket of beer. Everything was AWESOME! The restaurant vibe was cool, 5 different TV all playing something for everyone. I enjoyed watching the animal Channel. :) I can't remember why we stopped coming here but will definitely be back again. Thank You for a amazing service and food!!

This place has great food and drinks. It is extremely kid friendly. They even have a kid play area inside of the restaurant. It isn't a ball bounce, but TV and coloring books and blocks.

Sonora style Mexican food. Nothing fancy here, but good sized portions, reasonable prices $$, good variety of choices, bottomless chips and tasty food. Family run business. Wait staff are always friendly & accommodating. No reservations required, but sometimes you have to wait a few minutes to be seated. This restaurant is also popular with several area youth sports teams who take over the rear room on a regular basis after games or tournaments, but the restaurant staff seems to have become used to the increased patron load which generally doesn't significantly slow down service to the rest of the restaurant patrons. Ample parking is available on the front street (PCH) or in the large parking lot to the rear... can access via rear entry.

Carry out this trip. Roommate consumed the Chilli Releno and sides. Very nice as it is difficult to enjoy restaurant prepared at home. Great job! Only 1 concern 😟 access for a person with limited mobility is a disgrace. Extreme downhill slant in parking lot with deep downhill to reach PCH, where the entrance is located. Truly not accessible for handicapped patrons.

When I first walked in the dinning area looked smaller than expected but they have 2 dinning rooms with booths or tables which was really pleasant. The service was good, our food was brought in a timly manner and the people serving us were very nice. The food was much better than I thought it was going to be. I got the Sunday special. I was told that it was only a $2 up charge for the carne asada and instead they charged me an extra $5. They would not lower the price so that's why I'm giving this review. Very overpriced restaurant. They also don't take American Express which is very inconvenient for vacationers.

Good food. Bad service. Seems they're chronically understaffed. The people who do work there are nice and are always hustling. Seems like they may be overwhelmed and it takes a long time to get anything. That's both for dine in and takeout. I was left in hold for almost 10 minutes recently and decided to go in. They had put the phone down and forgot to get back to me. Iwanted to order one of their daily specials that are not available on any food delivery app. The cashier looked at the handset and hung up my call after I asked if the phone were down. Worth the visit. Keep in mind time will not be on your side.

I went to El Tarasco with a friend who eats there whenever he's in town, but I wasn't impressed. I had the #21 combo. The tamale was dry but the chicken taco was passable. Overall, the food was average Mexican fare. It was noisy and there was no real ambience.

The drinks always taste like soap. The service was horrible! Last time we were there we had to go get our credit card cause the waitress didn't bring it back.

If you want to go to an El Tarasco with a better cook, go to the one on Western near PCH.....the quality was much better! I was disappointed here, $8 for a chili rellano? A chili....with a little cheese, an egg, and a little sauce.....not even Red Onion charges that much!!!

My family and I are always hesitant to come to this location and it always comes down to the customer service. Don’t get us wrong the food is good, but todays experience was unpleasant because of the customer service. We orders two tortas and two chicken enchiladas, they brought the two orders of enchiladas and at that time they told us that they didn’t have the bread for the tortas. They should have told us in the beginning so we would’ve ordered something else, but no. We had to wait until they made our other dishes. So half of our table had food and the other half didn’t. This is not good. And this is why we always think twice before eating at el tarasco, do better.

Not sure what happened to El Torasco but it has changed, and not for the better. My experience goes way back with ET, and it use to be good food and a good value, but not any more. I just brought home a LARGE Ground Beef Tostada. It's NOT large, at all. In fact it is exactly 7" Rd. and there is NO Beef. But there is .40 cents worth of lettuce whiich is a good deal, considering they charged me $10.00. In addition, the waitress's are not friendly, seemingly not happy. Thus, poor service and a bad tostada. Doubt I will ever return.

Did not get my order right! I ordered 2 #17’s, one with all rice and the other with rice & beans and I wanted the tacos crispy. I opened the bag and sauce was spilled all over the chips, both orders had all rice and the tacos were soggy!! When you order tacos to go open the bag and make sure they’re crispy. When I called to complain they said their tacos get soggy on your way driving home. They didn’t look like they were fried at all. I used to come here a lot before COVID. I ordered the same order 2 weeks ago and they came the same way. I thought it was a fluke so I ordered again Must be new owners. They can’t make crispy tacos!!

I went in there twice, went there when it was busy and went when it was slow. Neither was a good time Service is terrible, once they give you your food they feel their job is done. You won't see them again untill you flag them down for the bill. Don't expect refills and make your napkins last......its all you get. Food is terrible, plate presentation is a sloppy mess and they are skimpy on the cheese and fresh tomatoes but load you up with plenty of lettuce and watery sauces. Makes the plate a soupy and soggy mess even when I ordered Tostadas, traditionally a crunchy dish. Plan to eat your tostadas with a spoon here. Guacamole is not mashed its blended and thin, and cost $5! Both times I had stomach aches most of the night afterwards. Not sure they are handling the food safely.

We were billed extra for our meal and drinks. They brought the wrong food and upcharged us after confirming what we wanted. Will not go here again. Not a trustworthy business. There are many better and legitimate mexican restaurants in the area.

They should have thrown away those old carnitas and made new ones. You can't charge full price for old food. The quality has gone down and the waiting time for two plates and only two people ahead of me was ridiculous. I waited 25 minutes unacceptable, regardless of the Covid-19 going on. I'm done with that Tarasco on PCH!

Worse business ever!!! Worker by the name of Ricardo is rude, slacks off, doesn’t pay attention to customers or orders placed online. Makes people wait almost an hour for their orders to be ready. He always looks miserable being at this place of work and makes the entire business look so bad. He also makes a lot of customers that are waiting forever for online orders to be made and deliver cancel. Which is wrong for business. Unbelievable management should look to hire people that want to work and that make their business look better.

Horrible in every possible way. First: RUDE STAFF! At the counter, a rude lady maybe the owner, she’s possibly the worst! But the same a short guy working in the evening. Unpleasant with costumers and we noticed even worse attitude with delivery drivers. Place is dirty, food is low quality and needlessly fat and oily, even the nachos! Go somewhere else, there are much better choices around the area.

They charged me $4 extra because I ordered the junior wet burrito with steak instead of chicken or ground beef. The worker lied and said that it clearly states upgrading the meat in the burrito will cost more on the online menu. In addition, I got sick. Eat at your own discretion.

I went to this restaurant with my family and they took for ever to sirve out food . My tacos dorados were burn and the salsa from a can . Worst Mexican restaurant we visited. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL !!!!

It's a shame the food is good because the service is a joke. Don't bother calling ahead, just sat in line for 35 minutes behind people who haven't called in/ordered yet so my food was cold. You might as well order there if you want your food to be warm or good. They also waited until after they charged me to tell me the cost (which he rang up wrong) and put my drink in a salsa container because they didn't have cups. Normally like the place but the service is careless and sloppy.

Apparently speaking Spanish is frowned upon despite the fact that my first language is Spanish and I couldn't look anymore Mexican. Here is pic of my $18.00 burrito ! Really ?! It was tiny and subpar on taste. My thumb is included for reference size. Avoid this spot if your seeking good Mexican food.

The worst fish tacos I have ever had in my life. It was mushy, not fresh, no flavor, and they burnt it.

Disappointed with el Tarasco as I really enjoyed the times I have come here to eat. On Wednesday July 30, my boyfriend and I walked in at 8:30; mind you their posted hours claim they close at 9 pm. I greeted the lady who was at the front and told her I would like a table for two, to my surprise she says Togo only. I’m a bit confused and perplexed as their hours say they close at 9 pm, it’s 8:30 and I see a few tables eating at that very moment. Whatever, I suck it up as I really enjoy their bean and cheese burritos, but then I think do I really want to pour money into a business that clearly does not want it as they were not willing to service us as dine in customers even though as I said there were guests eating in the dining area. I leave because if I wanted to take my food for Togo I wouldn’t have asked for a table. I think it’s a really bad look for your business if you’re basically pushing away PAYING customers because you don’t want to have to stay longer/ work longer or whatever the case may be, I too work in a restaurant and it is our policy to service ANYONE who walks in right up until the minute we close. If you only do full service until 30 minutes before close time, you should put that on your page/website so that way people will have the option to look elsewhere for a full service meal.
