I enjoy this Starbucks. There's usually seats and outlets (if you need one). I don't ever have to wait very long and 99% of the time the baristas are friendly.
Usually when I see a line at the drive thru, i think, this is gonna take forever. It's not! They served us pretty fast for three drinks.

They're always so sweet and they make drink and take orders quick and officently. Always leave happy with my order. Tons of options and they're always helpful when answering questions and giving suggestions.
The Starbucks employees at Ridgecrest always go out of the way to make sure that my drink is made specific to my order if it’s not they remake it for me before I leave town on any trip I always grab a Starbucks good job Ridgecrest Starbucks if people passing by Ridgecrest on Highway 14 knew how good the Starbucks was they would be taking time out of their trip to go there and get a good drink
Probably one of the largest Starbucks I've seen. Service has been fast and consistently high quality. Very convenient location since it's so close to the base with fast wifi inside.

I came in to starbucks to receive my birthday drink an associate helped me with starbucks app to see my birthday drink I received the email the 26th and my birthday was the 28th I wasn't able to get in till Feb 3rd 8 days and they said it wouldn't scan for my drink I thought I had 2weeks and she said 2 weeks but it but it didn't work
The lady that met us at the patio door was such a sweetheart! Service was very fast and great in spite of the virus. We were very pleased and happy with our order and how we were treated! Thank you guys 🤗 definitely my go to location!
Open casual atmosphere with a variety of seating options, dual registers, and a well designed drive through that press you right back in the road in no time. The times that i have gone i have had great customer service and the delightful misspelling of my name. If I were to change anything it wpuld be to have an app order pickup spot separate from the in store orders, a patio style couch and touch free devices in the bathrooms.
We love Starbucks! They deliver and everything! Exactly as we ordered! Hot & cold! Everything from salads to breads! We love going there!
Since Starbucks opened its new LARGER location, the service is better time wise. I had waited upto 45 minutes for my latte, but now my wait is 10 minutes. Baristas very customer service oriented, friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable.
Out of all the Starbucks my husband has been to because we just visited Ridgecrest, this was the most flavorful drink he ever recieved. This was made with consideration and care and not rushed and 90% ice. Great job everyone working at this location. Thanks!
As a long haul trucker I've been to hundreds of Starbucks and this one was the best visit by far! The ppl treated me like family but most of the staff get along great together. Impressive! Thank you❤
I always give Starbucks five stars due to the fact that I truly enjoy their hot chocolate, their pink drinks, and they're goodies. I hope you find them just as satisfying as I do.
Even with the restrictions for CONVID, the service here is fast and professional. The drive thru moves effortless every morning, with drinks being ready by the time you pull up to the window for your order.
One of the best Starbucks locations I've been too. The baristas are friendly and efficient and the drinks are well-made. The store is always busy but they never seem rushed, they are all well-trained to be quick but remain friendly and calm.
I changed my mind a couple of times about my order, including at the pay window, and the employees were only TOO happy to accommodate my changes with a great attitude and a happy smile!! The food was as ordered, hot and delicious, and I'll be back again!! Good job Starbucks on picking customer friendly staff!!
Awesome very clean Starbucks! Their cup display is out of this world and they made our drinks super fast. One of the nicest Starbucks I’ve been to in America. Going to make it a road trip stop every time I travel this way!
The coffee drinks are well made (been here twice so far) and the food is not half bad. Keep in mind that they may substitute your food item to the next closest thing depending on their stock (they have signs posted as well). Ordered a sausage, egg cheese burrito but got a bacon gouda instead but no complaints.
Great! We love their Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino's and Coffee's! And they serve a coffer cake that really reminds both my husband and myself of the kind we ate in Jr. & Sr. High during nutrition! It is so good! Their teas are great too hot or cold, I just wish they still served the chicken Waldorf sandwiches! And their Chocolate Cake Pops make a great dessert!
Large space with plenty of seating. Andrew at the counter was real cool. Loved my caramel macchiato. $5.75 for a grande
They gave me regular milk instead of oat milk! Good thing I caught it. I would have been sick 😫 as I don't know what!

Exactly the kind of service you hope to see in a Starbucks: friendly, courteous, and fast. Even when a mistake was made, it was quickly rectified with a smile. Huge space to sit and work or chill, too. Usually plenty of seats and tables to choose from so you can pick just the right vibe.
I had ordered a large traveler of coffee the night before for pick up. When I arrived the next morning my order was not ready, sounded like there was a communication error. I was very impressed how quickly the team was able to spring into action and get my order done in time to deliver to an event.
The Ridgecrest Starbucks has a large open store with a variety of seating. Our iced Cascara Lattes were perfect as usual ( we get half the syrup pumps to keep down the sweetness). The store is a great oasis whether from summer heat, desert winds, or winter cold.
Great selection of coffee mugs and very large seating area. Music is upbeat and uplifting!
It's just like any other Starbees, good food too 😋. Just wish they would get some blinds there's too much sun in the mornings and it blinds out the screen on my laptop when I'm studying.
The new Starbucks is very roomy and nice! I’ve never been in one so big. All they need is more power outlets and a few more comfy chairs or couches to lounge in and it will be perfect.
Service = The staff were kind and worked hard to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. I had a question about the size of food items that the barista taking my order was able to help with by taking the initiative to show me the size prior to making the item. Part of my order did take longer than I anticipated, but I wasn't in a rush so it was okay. Atmosphere = I love how many spaces there are to work, but it has been uncomfortably cold in this location for many, many years. Quality = My pumpkin spice cold brew was delicious, though a little more foam than I would have preferred. My food met expectations for a Starbucks. Value = My drink is more affordable than I expected given it was a season/speciality item, and the food was adequate given the amount I paid. Overall = I’ve been here many times and plan to continue coming. If they would be willing to raise the temperate, it would be even better.
Every time I come here the outside chairs are stacked up. Doesn’t matter if I come at 8 pm, or 6 pm, they are always packed away, and the patio doors are locked two hours before closing. Kinda annoying because I like to sit outside in the evening. What’s the deal with that?
Way to expensive for coffee..but to hang with peeps after hrs..ill go for tea or something.tnite..on a thursday..they closed at 2130..forcing people out...seriously..its a coffee shop..large coffee chain....give us high desert folk something to do after 8pm.is this a corperate decision or a town board member decision to close so early
Very slow. Everyone orders online, which makes walking in for a cup of coffee a bad idea. I ordered iced cold brew, a drink that should take 12 seconds, and waited 15 minutes, even though I walked right up to the counter from the door. Unbeknownst to me, there were 15 people ahead of me who ordered online who walked in ahead of me to pick up their drinks.
I believe this is the same Starbucks I've reviewed in town. Coffee is decent. I'm not the biggest Starbucks fan. The customer service is very excellent. The baristas are awesome!
They got everyone's order but mine right! Forgot 1/2, and for only 3 Venti Frapp's they charged me $18.10! Never again will I go to that one!
Its Starbucks so its going to be reliable. Im going with two stars because the Impossible Breakfast sandwich is *always* cold, like still slightly frozen when its served. The baristas have to follow the heating instructions given by corporate, so corporate really should get that fixed. I mean its Starbucks. We all agree to pay ridiculous amounts of money so that the food and drinks have consistent quality whether its NYC or way out here in the high desert.
Kinda disorganized, pre-ordered a couple of drips and warmed up breakfast sandwiches, was given a 10 minute wait time and 20 minutes later I’m still waiting…only 8 customers in the place, but 4 people working. Drive through is busy, but that’s one order at a time. Hmmm…
Went today for our free drinks - thanks for picking Ridgecrest btw! We both got peppermint hot chocolates. Sadly, they didn't taste great. As with the frappuccinos I've gotten lately here and other locations, they just don't taste as good as they used to. More watered down? Not much flavor? Maybe my tastebuds are changing. Irregardless, despite the crowd, we had decent service and very friendly employees.
Every time I order here, they screw it up some how. A busy mom of 3 i love the convenience of a drice thru Starbucks, but i cant handle not getting the correct items. Wont be going back
I come in here a lot while I'm on. My routes came in the other morning and had not a pleasant experience. Nobody said hi to me. They all looked at me but just kept busy and kept walking by me. I even believe the manager on charge was in control of the drive-thru little Hispanic girl. She ain't very nice. I don't think I like her ...I probably stood there for almost 5 minutes before somebody acknowledged me at the cash register. Usually every morning I come in. Kind of a bummer. I've been going to the other Starbucks on the other side of town which isn't that far and I get great service every time I come in. I even get greeted as soon as I walk in..
Asked for light ice in my Refesher drink and they put triple the ice. When I told the gentleman it is light ice, as noted on the order sticker, he said oh. In trying to fix it they made it watery. They offered to make another one, but I had already been waiting 15 minutes for this one. I was just ready to go.
Disappointed in the rebuild of the old Pizza Hut building. I think most of the Starbucks decor is done well, but this like a dark cafeteria. None of what makes other locations nice.
To long to order, to long to wait. Needs more trained employees, not engaging with customers. Don't have the same personal service as other starbucks. I travel and go to many starbucks and this one is the most unpleasant starbucks I have experienced.
I get two tastes from my coffee here. Burnt. Or straight sugar. Service is friendly enough but dont make your order too complicated or it will be wrong. I do love their green tea tho.
Even though I have a difficult order thus far they have gotten it right. With how much it costs it better be! The only reason you only get two stars is because of how Gaull-durn long it takes!
I’ve tried to be plenty patient each time I’ve gone here but it has gotten worse every time. Wait time is typically 20min or more, even with a mobile order pick up. Customer service is hit and miss. They also don’t have any of the newer menu items, even after waiting a few months. Any seasonal items are always sold out. I rarely go there now. Always a disappointment.
Lousy. Usually Starbucks are all the same but this one at least said bananas are "discontinued", lol. Which was the sole fresh item, everything else is packaged in plastic from a warehouse somewhere. I'm not snobby or demanding with overworked underpaid staff, maybe the boss is a jerk. But my simple order was delivered on three bags, I had to look through them on the counter to find mine.
This location has messed up my order multiple times; both by mobile order and in person. Today, I went to get a Grande Java Chip and after seeing other customers getting their orders after I had placed mine; I realized that mine was forgotten about. After 25 minutes, I finally asked someone where my order was. Turns out, someone had told an employee not to make my order. Essentially giving me the finger with a smile as if they thought it was funny! The regular employee apologized for the mixup. I don't blame that person who eventually made my order, but the manager. The previous Starbucks near Stater Bros was never like this. Next time around, I'm using the drive thru to see if they will screw that up. If so, the manager should be fired.
This place is slow. So if you are in a hurry, skip it. Doesn't matter if your mobile order or not it will still take 20+min Durning peak hours (even after the app say your drink should be ready). Always under staffed(2 people @ 7am come on) . Out of everything all the time. You order something with a basic ingredient...we're out of it. Holiday or limited edition drinks, we're out of it.
it's not really that good except for looks, they continuously make my drink wrong almost all the time, hire better workers for the love of god
It strait up made my relative cry. She got a random drink I forgot which one and it took sooo long for her to get it. I’m talking like 45+ minutes. The atmosphere was ok but ALL the seats were being used so we had to stand around for 30 minutes before someone left. Also most of the people who had seats either already finished their drinks or didn’t have one(They were probably waiting for their drink to be finished). Once they finally finished her drink we walked back to our car and left instantly because they made us late for our movie. The first sip my relative had of the drink they could barely drink it, we asked for almond milk and which they didn’t use so it upset her stomach because she is lactose intolerant. Also it tasted like they barely added any flavor it just tasted like milk. At that point my relative started to cry and get really sad. It was absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable how they charged us 6$ for that piece of garbage. I hope they were pranking us because if they’re not than this was the worst cafe I’ve ever been to in my life!
I'm a huge fan of Starbucks and really can't start my day without my coffee. However, their app does not support the drink the way I like it so I always go into the store and order it myself. This was a nightmare. The first day I thought it was just happenstance that I got tepid mostly cold coffee. The second day when I went in and specified 180° and it came out cold and tepid I got angry. I specifically told the barista to remake the drink correctly. He tried. It was still cold and when I asked him if he knew how to get the temperature of the milk up above extra hot he said no. That means these people have not been trained on how to do their job correctly. I don't like being told I'm not allowed to have hot coffee because I'm stupid enough to burn myself and I certainly don't appreciate paying for cold coffee. This place needs to be retrained and reworked
30 minutes to get a hot Carmel Macchio.... this is unacceptable Starbucks you need to either change the staff or add more people. I will not be coming back!
Very consistently the worse starbucks I’ve ever been to. Get my drink wrong more often than right if they remember to make it at all. Oh, and there’s no men’s restroom...
Horrible service, better off going through drive through took 3 times as long as NG going inside. Hated it and many people talking all at once. Place looks nice but still to much of a wait. Going on 20 minutes for a coffee rediculous wait.
2 yrs ago I gave awesome review. Today 1 star is not low enough. Too many problems to mention!
They take for ever to make a freaking coffee
paid 5 dollars for an iced venti drink and only got 3 decent gulps. pure ice, next time, getting no ice (they didn't even let me get a refill)
My cafe mizzo tasted like it had been made with old coffee grounds. It took 20 minutes for my order to be ready. While I waited I was entertained by trump voters (I assume this based on their make America great again caps) openly and repeatedly referencing racial and sexual minorities using the most offensive terms possible. Dozens of enormous crows raided the dumpster and scattered garbage everywhere. This is the worst Starbucks experience I have ever had, and my first visit was roughly 45 years ago.
Nice staff but my matcha tea was watery chalky paste Response to the owner.. I called the store 4× with no answer 😢
Placed an order for an event for 6pm upon arrival they said they had no record of my order, waited 30 minutes while they looked and turns out my order was in a note book with my name on it. Well they make a small box of coffee for 17 dollars for 200 people. Yeah when it arrives at 645 pm to event it was wrong we were quoted 115 dollars for a big container. We send 2 of our guest back again to return it and get the right one. They figured it out the coffee arrived to event at 845 way too late. It was returned 80% full and to top it of one of the managers was rude and tried to blame me for her mistake. The service was terrible and a waste of money. They lost my business

I would do negative stars if I could. The staff is unnecessarily slow. It took 45 minutes to get two hot drinks, a bagel and a breakfast sandwich. The large hot drink was maybe 3/4 of the way full and it was lukewarm. The medium drink was supposed to be a skinny peppermint mocha, but they forgot the peppermint syrup or something because it just tasted like a chocolate milk. They put the breakfast sandwich in the wrong bag with another customers name on it and looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for my food for the second time. They didn't give cream cheese with the bagel either. My friend ordered a medium pumpkin chai and asked for 2 pumps of pumpkin and two pumps of Chai, but the batista clearly went overboard on the pumpkin pumps, as the drink tasted like straight pumpkin flavor with no hint of Chai. The manager or whoever is in charge of this Starbucks needs to take a good look at their employees and reevaluate who they let work there. There are tons of people who need jobs and would actually put in some effort. Instead, they had three workers doing a less than mediocre job. The girl behind the counter walked back and forth like she had no idea what she was doing. One of the guys was busy taking orders, but not keeping track of anything and forgetting to give people food they ordered and paid for. And the other guy was working so slow that you would think they only had one customer in line instead of ten. I can guarantee I will never give them my business again.
They don't have a men's restroom. They have a women's and a all-gender restroom, but no men's. That's reverse discrimination. I will not come here anymore. It's too bad that Starbucks can do whatever they want, including discrimination, and no one does anything. I'll start by not coming here anymore until they change it someday.
This place is disgusting. They don't even have napkin dispensers. When I asked for napkins to wipe the grilled cheese grease from my face the barista pulled several napkins out of a dispenser behind the counter with her bare hands and proceeded to hand them to me. That's a hygiene fail right there. I made a complaint to the department of health.
One star for sure due to the fact I just went in there to grab a coffee on my way to work and the guy at the counter told me rudely to leave because I didn't have a mask I used to come to this shop in particular because it had the best coffee in town this will be my second time since coming back home they have dissapointed I am sad to say this but I wouldn't reccomend this starbucks if you go to one go to the one inside Albertsons much better service and your coffee isn't so watered down sincerely a fellow coffee enthusiast.
This is by far the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. It seems like employees are working but no matter how busy it is you will have a long wait. Even in the drive thru. Avoid go to if you don't want to waste at least 30 minutes
When your website says your open then you should be open!!! Went to the drive up and waited and waited!! Saw an employee inside so we decided to drive up to the pickup window were we observed two other employees yet no one even acknowledged us!!! I honked my horn thinking maybe someone forgot to turn on their drive up alarm but no they sent the youngest employee to the window and she laughed and said oh no we don’t open until 5am! I said really your website says you are open ..... ( giggling again! As if it’s funny ) Ohhhhh sorry *** it’s not like Starbucks is a Mom and Pop operation.... UPDATE YOUR WEB SIGHTS!!!!
I miss the old Starbucks. Very, very slow service, even with 5 employees behind the counter. Every vacant table was dirty, finally an employee came out to clean them, but he actually only cleaned about 1/3 of the vacant tables, including the little side tables. Plus, it is freezing in there...brrrr! Over all, very disappointing, I truly miss the old Starbucks.
Without fail I use the line at this Starbucks as a timer for making 30 minute meals. I start it up at home go the 2 minutes to this Starbucks and wait the other 26 minutes for my simple black coffee and 2 minutes back home. Its so consistent I've never burned a meal! Thanks starbucks for showing how incompetent your workers are at pouring water thru beans. A 30 second process taking 30 minutes is astounding.
This is first Starbucks to consistently mess up orders. I have just stopped getting stuff from there. Sadly it is the only one in town. If I order multiple pumps of something, I think they just ignore it as my drinks have been consistently bland at this particular one only.
This is the worst starbucks I've ever been to. Tho the customer service was nice, unfortunately they do not know how to make a drink. There needs to be retraing here or its just going to get worst. Litraly what looked like a table spoon of whip cream. Fraps were watery. Just awful. Hopefully they will improve.
I don't understand how this store is ALWAYS out of stuff, even on their delivery days (today it is the sleeves for hot drinks). The girl who took our order acted like we were inconveniencing her by being here. I wish there was another Starbucks in this town!!
I ordered ahead on the mobile app and waited until the time the app told me to (I had forgotten my mask) and then went inside to grab my drink. It was not ready and they made me stand outside in the cold for another 30 minutes, got my drink wrong twice, and did not apologize for any of it. Very disappointed and will be taking my business to the new Dutch Bros in town even though they are less convenient.
I'm lactose tolerant and when i pay extra for oat milk/almondmilk they put cow milk. My body can tell the difference.
Never coming here again. Place wasn’t particularly busy, yet 20 minutes later my order isn’t out but everyone else’s is. I speak to someone about how my order still isn’t out, and still nothing so I just walked out. I didn’t care that I paid for drinks I never got.
Terrible customer service. I’ve been to Starbucks all around the country and I’m so used to being greeted the second I walk in the door. This is the only Starbucks where they don’t even look up and act as if you’re invisible. Wait is long even though I’ve placed a mobile order 15 min ahead of time. I’m still waiting. I’m glad I moved across town because the Starbucks on bowman is much better with my coffee tasting better, and the staff are actually welcoming like they should be.
They offer free refills for those inside. And so that explains why they keep it at 58 degrees. Sitting here with down jacket and hood - right in front of the staff. But they are socially clueless about customer’s atmosphere. Ready to boycott this place.
It’s too cold in there and they refuse to change the thermostat. My drink got cold in minutes. And I had to wear a down parka with hood to stay warm. But my hands got cold too.. It’s a shame because that could be a nice meeting area for people to gather.
Never agian. Pathetic workers rude raciest as hell. Discriminates on you. If you have tattoos and look deff. They judge you. Not knowing anything about that person. But get judged as soon as I walked in.
Have 20-30min of your life to waste? This place has you covered! 3 years living here and this is the most consistent place in Ridgecrest! This place needs process management…. 20-30 mobile orders sitting for 15-20 min…. Ordered inside as a walk up- it’s been 30 min and still no coffee… the drive through is wrapped around the building…. Whoever owns this place needs to actually come in and look at how things are being ran, you clearly are leaving money on the table by not expanding your operation. SLOWEST STARBUCKS IN THE WORLD Seriously.... how is it even possible for a 4 car drive through to take 30 minutes to get a coffee?!?! Love to say this was the first time.... make a miracle happen- please hire a manager that can teach these kids order of operation and simple skills!! How? How through covid is it possible to have a drive through this slow??? You shut down all in store business!?
