Durante ferragosto nella visita delle Cinque Terre abbiamo pranzato presso il Bar Centrale. Primo piatto eccezionale, davvero bilanciato ed amalgamato. Servizio un po' lento, mentre l'ambiente, essendo esterno sulla pubblica via, era a ridosso dell'enorme flusso di turisti di passaggio. Tutto sommato ci ritornerei per quel fantastico primo, davvero ben cucinato.

Un’ottima cena a buon prezzo in quel di Riomaggiore. Penso che il locale si valorizzi nei mesi estivi, grazie al dehor esterno in cui vengono serviti piatti della cucina ligure e non solo. Per stare sulla tradizione abbiamo provato le pasta al pesto e con sarde e pomodorini (quest’ultima mi ha davvero sorpreso). Come secondo, il fritto misto. Ottimo in generale il pesce, per una cena informale senza perdere qualità.

Questa sera abbiamo scelto di cenare presso questo ristorante dall'aria un po' spoglia ma dal menù interessante. Abbiamo ordinato i gnocchi all'orata e gli spaghetti ai muscoli. I piatti erano davvero molto buoni sebbene le porzioni non fossero un granché. Nonostante ciò erano davvero all'altezza delle nostre aspettative. Forse i prezzi un po' alti ma d'altronde si è in una località turistica. I due primi, l'acqua e il coperto per un totale di 33€ in due.

CENA PIACEVOLE E BUON SERVIZIO Abbiamo cenato con spaghetti alle vongole, ottimi, e lasagne al pesto altrettanto buone. La bottiglia di vino proposta dal boss molto apprezzata (fin troppo). Io e la mia amica abbiamo subito fatto amicizia col cameriere (salutonj a German). Consigliato :)

Bel locale con servizio cordiale e buoni piatti. Nonostante il periodo fuori stagione con molti locali ancora chiusi, c'era un buona carta dei menù. Piatti squisiti e abbondanti con prezzi nella norma. Consigliato 👍

Lasagne davvero buone, un po' lento il servizio considerando che c'erano pochi tavoli e il menù non è immenso però il cibo davvero buono prezzo onesto sia per la qualità sia per il luogo turistico. Adatto ai bambini in quanto hanno il seggiolone dettaglio non da poco. Camerieri davvero gentili.

Questa è stata la nostra prima tappa del tour delle 5 terre, abbiamo fatto colazione ed il servizio è stato veloce ed il personale molto cortese! Il cornetto era veramente buono! Poi il bar super strategico poiché vicino alla fermata della navetta! Prezzo giusto! In fine siamo tornati la sera x aspettare la navetta appunto e ci siamo presi un cocktail molto buono! Consigliato!!

3 giorni in questo posto meraviglioso, ci fermiamo la prima sera a mangiare qui e veniamo accolte subito benissimo. Porzioni abbondanti e tutto super buono.. Una stella in più per il servizio perché i ragazzi sono carinissimi, soprattutto una ragazza ma purtroppo non mi sono fatta dire il nome.. ogni giorno passavamo anche solo per prendere un caffè o per salutare.. probabilmente se fossimo state più giorni lì saremmo andate a mangiare più spesso. For the first time in Italy, we got proper good bread initially to eat. A 5/5 experience would be perfect in all ways, and since I am a perfectionist i have high standards. This place gave very nice and tasty food for a good price, and with a good portion. It could even be more expensive and they could get away with it. Cannot complain at all , eat seafood and pasta here. Very tasty.. i don't really understand the negative reviews but I saw some lady ordering a crepe i mean. Get out of here. You're not here for crepes Go to Paris and eat frogs instead.

Lovely terrace and service despite the affluence, great fish specialties (tagliata di tonno fresco/half-cooked tuna, baccala alla riomaggiorese/cod pot). Bread could be better. This is NOT a place for pizzas or burgers and hardly for spaghetti. Stay local. For pasta, you may want to order troffie, which are regional spätzle and delicious with pesto Genovese. Drawn beer is good. The Spritzes served at other tables looked fantastic. Indoors is a small air conditioned bar. Price comes at around €25 per head for 1 main course + beverage, service included. Not cheap but fair considering the extra hard work of whipping up such fresh cuisine in a town with no car access for supplies! Quite a feat and a thoroughly enjoyable experience for the oblivious tourists.

Unfriendly staff that weren’t helpful. Had a service fee that was 3.50 euros per person when they did absolutely nothing. Would not recommend

Locale carino sulla via che porta al mare. Possibilità di consumare all'interno del bar o all'esterno in una veranda al coperto. Noi abbiamo fatto colazione al bar. Cappuccino appena tiepido: così così; brioches calda: buona. Prezzo adeguato. Norme anticovid rispettate. Servizio veloce.

Un po’ più di attenzione ai dettagli: ad esempio, se la cameriera deve apparecchiare il tavolo, non si lasciano i menù al cliente che resta in piedi ad aspettare. Oppure, dopo aver atteso dieci minuti, ci viene detto che il dolce era terminato. Chiedo un vino rosso da consigliarmi e mi viene portato un vino bianco, ahah! Per il resto, cibo discreto.

Came for breakfast and sat on the outside patio. Thankfully we sat toward the back because the patio is very congested and difficult to get in/out. Service was a bit spotty but ok. It's challenging to find breakfast spots that serve protein like eggs/bacon as most r pastries and sweets. Really appreciated that Bar Centrale, which is on the main strip of Riomaggiore, included omelets on their menu. Ordered the ham omelet, fruit cup, side of avocado, lemon crepe, latte & oj. The OJ was delicious & fresh squeezed. Was hoping for some healthy fats with the side of avocado, but it didn't really work out as it seemed to be turning. The fresh fruit was tasty and appreciated the generous size. Other items were just fine. Was there anything wrong with Bar Centrale? Not really. It just wasn't comfortable and not sure I'd go back. However, there aren't a ton of options in town so if you're also craving something more substantial for breakfast, give it a try.

This was a very average experience for us. My lasagne was average, my wife’s seafood pasta had mostly empty mussel shells, however the taste was decent. The price is not bad and the patio has a good ambience in a central part of the main area. Service was average. Not a bad experience, but certainly expected better.

Abbiamo pagato il coperto già la mattina e la focaccia che avevamo ordinato costava 4€, ma al momento del conto risultava 5€. Dopo il reclamo ci hanno restituito 1€, ma ci ha dato molto fastidio pagare il coperto già a colazione. Essendo turisti, hanno cercato di farci pagare di più. Non ci torneremo mai più, sconsigliato.

Tipico bar/ristorante lungo la via principale di Riomaggiore che gode del numeroso flusso turistico di passaggio che invade lo splendido territorio delle Cinque Terre. Locale piuttosto informale costituito da semplici tavolini disposti su una struttura in legno coperta situata a lato della strada che invita il passante ad una sosta. Purtroppo mi sono fermato per un caffè con mia moglie e ho potuto constatare al momento di pagare come i prezzi di questo esercizio siano particolarmente elevati e non giustificati (4,5 euro per un caffè e un cappuccino) considerato appunto il contesto che non ha nulla a che fare col lusso. Sconsiglio, trovate di meglio.

Abbiamo cercato di fare colazione in 4 adulti mantre i nostri due bambini si sono seduti vicino a noi ed avevano un pezzo di schiacciata presa in precedenza da un altra parte. Mica potevamo abbandonarli in giro senza controllo. Per questo motivo siamo stati trattati peggio dei ladri dalle cameriere maleducatissime e arrabbiate che ci hanno fatto sentire clienti non desiderati. Ci siamo alzati e siamo andati via perché questo posto non merita di essere frequentato. Aspettatevi di essere trattati come ovvi avventori, non clienti. Essere abituati ad avere affluenza porta a questi distorti effetti, il cliente dovrebbe essere sacro, non scontato.

Locale quasi completamente vuoto, ma carino. Chiedo dove potermi accomodare e mi viene detto "un attimo dobbiamo spazzare". Le cameriere procedono poi a chiaccherare per svariati minuti con il cuoco lasciandomi li ad aspettare. Questo a mezzogiorno e mezzo mentre gli altri ristoranti sono piani e lavorano a buon ritmo. Consiglio: fate 200m in basso e andate ad Il Grottino invece , super consigliato!

Non meritate nemmeno un euro. Ho chiesto dell’olio per il pane , cosa che in genere non si dovrebbe nemmeno chiedere, perché dovrebbe essere già presente a tavola e la ragazza mi ha risposto: No, l’olio è solo per chi ordina l’insalata. Posso portarti solo quello in bustine , come se fossimo dei animali , mica sto elemosinando due gocce d’olio, dai... Ed ai clienti non si dice no, soprattutto per una cosa così banale. Inoltre, ho notato una netta differenza nel trattamento riservato agli stranieri rispetto agli italiani , schifosi che non siete altro Vergognatevi. Tourist trap !!! We were tempted by the terrace, but the lunch was awful: the food was really bad, the service wasn't very pleasant, and the bread was terrible. On my way to the restroom, I saw the waitress take an already opened bottle of water, fill it with tap water, and reseal it with a slightly broken cap! To sell a very expensive bottle of water, when it's just tap water! Shameful, I regret paying for my meal.

Please avoid at all costs. The waiters are comically indifferent and the food felt like a bad joke. He laughed in my face when I ordered as if I had made a stupid decision, and leered at us the whole time… I can’t tell what exactly was on my plate but it definitely was not pesto lasagne. Turns out the laugh was warranted, as it was definitely stupid to try the place without reading reviews first :(

We had one of the worst dining experiences we can remember at this restaurant — a real tourist trap. From the start, things went downhill. For the starters, we ordered the fried codfish and the swordfish salad. The codfish was clearly frozen, under-fried, very dry, and not crispy at all. The “swordfish salad” was extremely sour and didn’t taste like swordfish — we’re quite sure it wasn’t. The main courses were just as disappointing. The rabbit stew tasted like it had been sitting in a freezer for far too long and then reheated in a microwave — bland, dry, and lifeless. The shrimp dish was inedible; we couldn’t even remove the shrimp from their shells, which made us doubt how fresh they were in the first place. To make matters worse, the staff were unhelpful and completely indifferent. We didn’t finish any of our dishes, and nobody bothered to ask if something was wrong or if we needed anything. The lack of care or attention summed up the whole experience. The only thing that was remotely okay was the wine, which was decent but nothing special. For all this, we paid 110 euros, which felt outrageous given the quality of both the food and service. Overall, this was a thoroughly disappointing meal and a complete waste of money. We strongly advise avoiding this place — there are many better restaurants nearby that actually serve fresh food and care about their guests.

Egg shells in cooked eggs, dried bread, undercooked crepe with cheese that was very... Cheap? And cappuccino that were 90% foam + staff that were so fed-up I felt I should apologise for reading in their restaurant - I have to give such a low rating to try and save others

Worst food I’ve ever had. The pasta was cold, not cooked enough, and tasteless. The portion size was very small for the quality and how much I paid. This restaurant tries to appear fancy with the cursive writing on the menu and the hefty prices, but it is the complete opposite. I’ve had better service and food at McDonald’s. Don’t get me started on the staff. They are very unprofessional and unwelcoming. When we left, they didn’t even acknowledge our goodbye or the fact that we didn’t even touch much of the food. Please avoid this place, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone visiting Riomaggiore; there are much better options nearby. I give it zero stars.

Came at 9pm for drinks and dessert with our kids. Waited forever for a waiter to come over and take our order. Waiter was horrible. Didn’t smile ever. Ignored us and looked elsewhere while we tried to order. Made a snarky remark about us ordering only two dinner dishes ( we had already had our dinner). We ordered drinks, water, dessert. Restaurant looks great and atmosphere is nice but service was awful and food was mediocre. Would not recommend this place at all!!!!

If there will be a competition of worst taste and the rudest customer service, I am 100% sure this bar will come first in entire Italy. All the 30-40 minutes we spent or whatever we asked them, they did not disappoint us in showing the rude behaviour. I wish I could give 0 reviews. There were only a handful of vegetarian options and they tasted terrible.
