Jonathan at the drive through was incredibly patient and helpful with me when my app delayed. It was very late, and I know everyone has wrap up duties to end the day, so for him to have taken the time to be not just understanding, but patient and still helpful at the late hour was a great show of character where others would have gotten short and perhaps lapsed on the service. Very appreciative of him.
The food has always been fresh, generously served & froendly service...clean interior & timely delivery of food, well packaged. Thank you for awesome customer service you guys- God bless you!
Excellent food and great atmosphere! I had Fried Rice and Chow Mein with Orange Chicken, Honey Sesame Chicken and Beijing Chicken. Side of Cream Cheese Rangoon. So delicious! My favorite is always the Cream Cheese Rangoon though drizzled or dipped in sweet and sour sauce. I always, always, always order WAY too much! But I love variety, switching it up for every bite and some good Chinese food, so it’s worth it, I guess. Definitely a recommended location for some Chinese food.
My husband and I have been here a few times over the past month. Each time was just OK, food was good, but service and portions size sucked. We went tonight and Jamie took care of us. She was smiley, friendly, quick, and her portions matched the price. We're hoping she takes care of us every time we go from now on. The manager, or shift supervisor, that has been there always seems to be miserable. She doesn't smile, and you feel like you're bothering her. And forget sampling anything...we've been told "this location doesn't allow sampling" several times.
This restaurant is under a new manager. Tonight my husband and I observed all the employees hustling. They were all happy, doing a great job and going out of their way. Jonathan served us and was pleasant. The place was CLEAN! I came here to leave a review and saw 3 stars I was shocked. Then I spoke to the manager who was very pleasant herself. Monica I think is her name. The food, needless to say, was fantastic as always. I just really appreciated the experience. I hate going to a restaurant and the workers are lazy, miserable, dressed sloppy and they don't care. This was refreshing.
Gotta try their Kung Pao Chicken 🐔 😎😎😎 Panda Express in Riverview, Florida, is a gem when it comes to satisfying your craving for delicious Chinese cuisine. The restaurant's welcoming ambiance, attentive service, and mouthwatering menu options make it a go-to spot for food enthusiasts. In this review, I'll delve into their delectable dishes, starting with their exceptional Kung Pao Chicken. When it comes to Kung Pao Chicken, Panda Express in Riverview truly excels. The dish is a harmonious blend of tender chicken, crispy peanuts, and vibrant vegetables, all coated in a tantalizingly spicy sauce. Each bite delivers a burst of flavors, with the perfect balance of heat and sweetness. The chicken is always cooked to perfection, juicy and succulent, while the vegetables retain their crispness. This dish is an absolute must-try for those seeking a spicy yet satisfying culinary adventure. Moving on to the Honey Sesame Chicken, Panda Express once again proves its expertise in crafting exquisite flavors. The chicken is irresistibly crispy, coated in a sticky and tangy honey sesame glaze that delights the taste buds. The dish strikes a fantastic balance between sweetness and savory notes, leaving you wanting more with every bite. The addition of toasted sesame seeds adds a delightful nuttiness, elevating the dish to new heights. Whether you're a fan of sweet and savory combinations or simply looking for a crowd-pleasing option, the Honey Sesame Chicken at Panda Express is an absolute winner. Last but certainly not least, the Orange Chicken at Panda Express is a classic dish that never disappoints. The succulent pieces of chicken are generously coated in a tangy and mildly spicy orange sauce, creating a symphony of flavors that are sure to satisfy any palate. The chicken is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the sauce perfectly complements its natural taste. The balance between citrusy tang and subtle spiciness is spot on, making this dish a perennial favorite for many patrons. In conclusion, Panda Express in Riverview, Florida, offers an outstanding dining experience. Their Kung Pao Chicken, with its flavorful blend of spices and ingredients, is a standout dish that will ignite your taste buds. The Honey Sesame Chicken impresses with its perfect balance of sweetness and savory notes, while the Orange Chicken delights with its tangy and mildly spicy flavors. Whether you're a fan of traditional Chinese cuisine or simply looking for a tasty meal, Panda Express in Riverview is an excellent choice.
Well, I've never gotten sick from the food here. Like never. LoL and if they are out out of something they make it on the spot.
My daughter and I especially love Panda! However, this location has gotten very skimpy on the chow mein and rice. Last visit yesterday seemed to be half of we normally get. I guess that's shrinkflation. Also, the drive thru is so focused on getting you in and out, they practically throw everything at you. If we want chopsticks, soy sauce or anything else, I've started asking for it at the ordering. If we wave them down after they give you the order, the employees look at you like, "what are you still doing here?" A little more service and chow mein go a long way, I'm just saying.
Third time in 5 months that I go into this Panda Express to get the Angus beef and the sizzling shrimp with broccolini and they keep serving it with green beans. Talk about being cheap.... they serve 5 small cuts of the beef and serve you 5 shrimps..... they actually count them and still have the audacity to cut more cost by serving green beans instead of broccolini.... when I ask the manager why is this.... she said " we ran out". I finally snapped and asked " why has it been 5 months and you still haven't order broccolini. Stop false advertising and put up new pictures of the right food you serve and I'm paying for." There is an upcharge for the beef and shrimp yet I'm not getting the items as advertised. Green beans are cheaper than broccolini so mark your price down, since you are not paying for the vegetable offered on your marketing....and don't bounce back telling me I'm paying for the meat..... NOPE.... I'm paying for the entire image you promote in your advertising, yet getting robbed by your company. Bunch of liars falsely advertising.
My to go order contained no plastic ware or napkins. The teriyaki chicken and beef and broccoli protein plate was poor quality meat and terribly cooked. The chicken was full of fat and veins, undercooked and tasteless. Not the normal flavor or texture of their chicken. Could also have been sitting and then reheated not sure. There was little to no “beef” with the beef and broccoli. The veggies were cooked fine but watery. I do catering ordered for work all the time and I’ve not ran into this type of “texture issue prior” however I don’t cater from the location! I took the order back and asked for a refund and the First Lady was pleasant and said she’d get a manager. Manger came to the window I said I don’t like the quality and would like a refund, no incident we were both pleasant. She said okay and took the receipt and food and went to process the refund. While she was processing it another female comes to the window with the original person and asked what was wrong with the food. I said the food texture was disgusting to me and full of veins and fat. The team member in an attempt to be sarcastic said yeah aka chicken thighs . I asked if that was suppose to be cute and stated I’d like to just get the refund so I could go at that time the manager then returned advising she had done the refund. I advised the manager she should speak to her team about customer service and what that should look like going forward. The female had no need to engage with me when the situation was already handled. I simply requested a refund because your food did not look or taste like it normally does. Do better ! This interaction lost you a catering and personal customer don’t let it be a trend.
ILORI was a bundle of joy to interact with at the drive thru window, first she was top notch at exuding maximum negativity through the intercom as i attempted to place my order. She absolutely nailed most unenthusiastic employee of the year with a sleep walking voice. Amazing at cutting me off repeatedly as I was trying to order, she wouldnt let me finish saying each item im ordering by cutting me off with “pull up to the window” as i say the next each item 0.01 seconds “Pull up to the window” The proven usual drive thru script of “will that be all?” After the customer finishes ordering routine is too complex for ilori. Why would you try to complete my order after every item ? So i missed a drink and havent paid yet and i said “sorry i forgot can i add a drink before i pay” and she says blank facial expression “i have a line you can go back around” and I ask again “please can I just add it now?” How would a 20 min round trip for a drink just because Ilori has a line make sense? But she just repeats that to me over and over again with a straight face repeatedly “i have a line go back around” a 2 second job to make a drink while theyre still scooping and boxing my order would be a stretch too far. Makes sense because if she let me add a drink to my order that would be a couple extra dollars for panda. And she hates her job so why would she help me or them? Thats not her M.O Would have took her 2 seconds to do but she prefers to be difficult, rude and unhelpful to customers at the window instead. Any normal drive thru worker would say “sure no problem” I am sure she is a joy to work with, i really do have pity for the rest of the riverview panda staff because if they have to be around that ball of negativity for a shift. If what i experienced after only 1 min interaction with her I can only imagine the drain of an entire shift. She cursed me out while i drove off laughing was the cherry on top. Chefs kiss! ILORI =I.Love.Objecting to.Reasonable requests.Instantly Have a great day ilori!
I've always been a customer at this place, but on three occasions, the person who served me, "Eva," put very, very little food on my plate—enough for a child. I don't understand. I told her, and she gave me a rude response. They should have the same service policy. This has happened to me with this person several times. She puts food on the plate and takes it away. She doesn't provide good customer service.
I had a very disappointing experience here today. My husband and I placed two separate orders, and I mistakenly ended up with two medium drinks. I told the cashier that I didn’t need mine since my husband had already ordered one for me and asked for a simple refund on just the drink. She seemed flustered, said she needed her lead, and when the lead came over, they told me (with an attitude) that if they refunded the drink, they would have to recharge me for the whole order again. My husband said not to worry about it since it was only $2, and we kept the drink. Meanwhile, my husband was waiting on his second portion of food since they had run out. After waiting quite a while, he said he would just take a little extra from what was already on his plate and pay the difference. The same cashier who handled my drink seemed annoyed and told him, “I don’t think you can do that, the teriyaki chicken is almost done.” She then went in the back, whispered to her lead, and they both laughed as if we were being difficult. That felt very unprofessional and disrespectful. Thankfully, another worker came to help us and gave my husband the extra portion with no issue at all. But the entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth. If employees dislike their job so much that they laugh at customers for asking reasonable questions, they should not be working in food service. I won’t be returning to this location.
When I come to panda I expect a good experience with good food but what I got this morning was a rude drive through cashier (short Asian lady) who looks like she hates her job and some dry chow mein. She needs to be removed from the drive through thanks.
Service wasn’t very friendly food average and then suddenly unfortunately we found a “sharp chicken bone” in the orange chicken, mentioned to the manager in charge, she took a picture and mentioned that it wasn’t supposed to be there because they use a processed frozen product, no apologies…(we cleaned the meat around to show it in the picture)
I ordered the double beef broccoli, but what I received was double broccoli, no beef. Extremely disappointing. When I brought it up to the restaurant, they just brushed it off like nothing was wrong. If I wanted only broccoli, I would have ordered a veggie dish. Terrible customer service and a frustrating experience.
I‘ve had a few terrible experiences whenever I came to this location. The food is always disgusting and the employees working there have been extremely disrespectful. I asked for double chicken and I didn’t get a correct portion. The chicken wasn’t fully cooked there was discoloration in my chicken. (Check pictures below) I also asked for rice and the rise wasn’t fully cooked either, there were crunchy pieces with every bite. The attitudes from the employees were awful. Nova H was the cashier and I’m not sure if I was wrong for asking for a plate at 12:18 in the afternoon, but I guess it ticked her off and she had an attitude with myself and members of my party. I also tried calling the store 6 times to complain because I don’t want to be that customer, but every time I called they continued to hang up.. which lead me to believe that this would be more effective.
Absolutely the worst! I ordered for delivery and I got partial of what I ordered. I got the biggest plate and I was missing protein. I ordered the apple pie Egg roll and I should have had 6 peace’s. Instead I got one. I called up to let them know I’m missing part of my order. I was told that there was no one there that will help me and when I did get someone to talk to about it I was told that she would look at the cameras to see if they didn’t pack my order correctly and then they will issue a refund. I never got a refund a week later and that just tells me they don’t care about the customers to even check the camera or they are just calling me a lier. This place will not get any more of my hard earned money on top of this not being the first time I didn’t get what I ordered. Those times was something small as it was only like $3 out of pocket. This time was $15 out of pocket. I can’t let that go. They are stealing money and not caring.
ALL the vegetables & spring rolls were burnt. You can tell the oil has been used over and over again. When you ask the staff for anything extra they have a really bad attitude. We love Panda and this one definitely is not up to the standards in other states. This picture is a DOUBLE beyond chicken. Looks more like triple veggies/ noodles.
I had to wait a while just for a large broccoli beef. I didn’t mind wait if they had to cook more but come to find out they couldn’t find their cook and to add insult to injury I didn’t get a filled large container. Plus they had the nerve to tell me it was fresh when the food was brought to my car. I was already home when I opened my food but if I had checked before hand I would’ve asked for a refund. Thanks for wasting my time and money.
