Tip: Request a table on the patio for the waterfront view. It's a little off the beaten path, next to a marina, but worth the visit.

I had an exceptional dining with my family at this restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making sure our every need was met. The food was absolutely delicious, with a diverse menu offering something for everyone but what truly made our meal unforgettable was the breathtaking view! Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. I would definitely eat here again 👏
WOW - we were IMPRESSED ! i highly recommend this restaurant / bar !!! If you are in a hotel, check to see if they have a free shuttle for you. I checked into the Holiday Inn Express & Suites and the desk clerk did not do his job. After we Ubers to and from the restaurant - I witnessed a different desk clerk checking in guests and she gave them a list of local restaurants and a card that offered free shuttle to the Rendezvous! THE FOOD WAS GREAT - we had fried clams and french dip sandwich. We had a delicious drink (happy hour) Vanilla vodka and sprite. We sat at the waterfront and had a blast We are going on the e Disney Cruise tomorrow and this was a great start to our vacation.
It was my first time here and I left beyond happy. The service first and foremost was phenomenal! As soon as we came in it was extremely welcoming. Our server Chris went above and beyond, was very friendly and gave us great recommendations for the food. The spinach dip and lamb chops were great appetizers and the cajun chicken pasta and snapper were amazing entrees. Highly recommend, ask for Chris! Definitely will be back soon (:
Rendezvous is a hidden gem! The servers are fantastic, very attentive and the food is terrific. They have great lunch deals. I had a huge lobster for a very reasonable price for example, it was delish! It is in the shade so bring a sweatshirt if you’ve been in the sun all day. There’s free parking for your car and your boat! We will be back!
This place is our new favorite lunch spot. Great location and views of the marina. We even saw tarpon rolling in the water! The service is always fantastic. Our server, Amelia, is such a sweetheart. My husband loves the fish and chips and I enjoyed the beef quesadillas. The fish dip is great too as well as the clam chowder.
We were only in town for a day before hopping a flight to head home and I found this online and the reviews we’re on point! The oyster is on the half show with the sides were absolutely incredible and tasted amazing, highly advise trying the bacon wrap to sea scallops, they are to die for! They grilled their garlic bread which adds the extra crunch and crispiness but the bread is so soft. The jambalaya was spicy enough to add a little kick but easy to devour! Great place to visit if you’re in town, if I lived here I would be a regular!
The service was excellent, our servers name was Adam. He was awesome, so knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. I had the Chilean sea bass and it was the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the clam strips and they were amazing. For dessert we had the lemon torte, also delicious. We will definitely be back! Thanks Adam for your awesome service and excellent suggestions
Fantastic little gem I ran into after a friend suggested it for a quiet dinner by the water. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Since it was a short business dinner I only had time to try the oysters and bang bang shrimp. Wow, what a treat, I honestly cant believe I haven't run into this restaurant in the past! Will be back in a few days for a full dinner and proper review. Excellent!
First and foremost we have to compliment our server, Chris. He was professional, yet fun and interactive. We loved the waterfront view and drinks were great. Then the food arrived. Best meal we’ve had so far in our travels this year. Everything was prepared perfectly and seasoned to add flavor, not mask the flavor of the food. We’ll definitely be back if we find ourselves in the Ft. Lauderdale area again.
My sister and I stopped for lunch here. We sat outside by the boats, which was nice. The server was helpful and attentive. The food was good, but the sides were very small for the price of the entree, but that just may have been our dish.
Adam is super professional server. Excellent happy hour deals. Good beer selection. Coconut crusted mahi salad is delicious and unbelievably underpriced. Seared ahi killer. Seafood spinach dip was ok; could have used more seafood flavor. Comfortable water front dockside seating. Definitely on our repeat list.
Excellent service. First time at this place and I have to be back. The soup that was served was wrong but the waiter immediately fix the issue and provide a delicious French onion soup. I ordered the coconut crusted Mahi salad .. 100% recommended . A beautiful hidden area overlooking a marina.
Everything we had was Delicious! Seafood Spinach Dip was way better than I thought. Tuna was fresh and yummy. Steak ka bob things was nice and flavorful! Drinks were good too. It's a little pricier than most places I think, but the quality of food, is also better than most places. I'm sure about the quality of the food. Having had some great apps there, I'm definitely willing to try some new things there.
We had an incredible experience at Rendezvous for New Years Day. We made reservations 40 minutes before sunset so we can see the sunset together. The views were incredible. It was a great way to start of the year. Our server right away posed us for a picture. She went out of her way to ensure we had a great experience. The food was delectable and savory. My boyfriend got the special; Yellow Tail snapper with Jasmine rice and street corn. He absolutely loved his meal. I ordered the Lobster and shrimp pasta. The pink sauce that it comes with is extremely tasty. I was addicted. Overall highly recommend!
The food was fantastic it's comfortable family friendly but on the nicer side. The server we had was phenomenal and it seems like the kind of place I'll want to return to again and again to try the whole menu. I had the beef satay and shrimp skewers my mother had the Mahi Mahi again both absolutely delicious.
Great location and delicious food! We had a pickup order but next time, definitely eating on the patio. It looked beautiful. The online menu prices are different so call to get accurate price. A bit pricey for amount of food and any add-ons. However, the food was amazing and we loved the pasta. They were friendly and fast. We will be back. Thank you!!
I had a great night, great service and wonderful wonderful food, dont skip this place. Started with clam chowder and noticed rhey really put a lot of clams and its just so delicious (thick, meaty, not over seasoned). Then i had the oysters rockafeller and my gosh, best ive ever had! contemplated skipping an entree and getting another plate. then finished with a shrimp poboy and let me tell you, they dont skimp on shrimp! loved loved loved the shrimp poboy with extra romulade sauce. my server was friendly, funny, and had a long beard, i cant remember his name but he really made the whole night even better, especially as a solo dinner.
Our waiter Chris was awesome. Gave great recommendations. Chilean sea bass was amazing. Someone needs to get Chris into politics. That man could sell ketchup popsicles to a woman wearing white gloves and still get a five star review.
Rendezvous is an absolute gem. We started with the crab cakes and they were great, but the real stars of the meal were the flame grilled jerk chicken sandwich and the Cajun cream pasta. The chicken was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while. The Cajun cream pasta was unreal, creamy, smoky, with just the right amount of spice. Seriously delicious. Our server Matt was incredible from start to finish, super attentive and genuinely made the experience even better. On top of all that, the location is perfect, sitting right on the marina, which makes it an ideal spot for a relaxed lunch date or just enjoying the view. Will definitely be back.
Came here after work with a buddy on a Thursday and they had an open spot at the bar, just had a drink but it was fantastic. Service was good and everyone friendly what more do you want? Beautiful and unique view of the boats. Great place definitely coming back 🙌💯
Love this restaurant! Great, waterside view of yacht harbor. We had a reservation for 10, on the patio. Service, food, ambiance, phenomenal! Our 4th visit here. Every single dish was delicious and well prepared. Sorry, no food pics but between us we had calamari, fried shrimp, blackened Mahi, fish tacos, shrimp po-boy and jambalaya. All sides excellent! Key Lime pie and outstanding carrot cake for dessert. We will return!
Loved it! I had just flown into Fort Lauderdale, FL and had some downtime to pass before I could check into my reserved stay! I decided to check out the nearest yacht marine and get a bite to eat! Loved the view! Food was delicious but a bit pricey, good value for the cost! Definitely worth checking out!
This place is great! They were willing to accommodate my gluten allergy (not celiac), the portions were huge, and the food outstanding. Great atmosphere and equally great service.
First time coming here and we were hosted by Garrett. He explained everything to us from top to bottom. The oysters were so fresh, the lobster lollipops were delicious . Our entrees were so good. His suggestions were amazing and the atmosphere was great! Overall a very pleasant first time experience. Will be back soon.
Brian was our server, he was outstanding. He had good insights on selections and recommendations, very attentive. We ate supper on the deck, 64° little windy, pretty empty but for us northernes! Views were great while eating. We had the spinach seafood dip and chips. Dinner was tuna steak and a mahi tacos. No dessert we were stuffed. All around 5 star experience.
This place never disappoints! I always order the oysters because they taste incredibly fresh every single time. The fish and chips are consistently crispy and delicious, and my boyfriend always gets the shrimp pasta, it’s super creamy and full of flavor. All of their frozen drinks are amazing, but my favorites are the frozen mojito and the piña colada. Great food, great drinks, and always a great experience. Highly recommend!
OMG ! We literally just flew in to Ft. Lauderdale checked into Avid Hotel and heard the front desk lady mention Rendezvous and they had a shuttle that brings you there and back and a quick google search and we were calling! A quick ride over and we were there. Hostess was super nice and even checked the lady's bathroom for me so I could wash my hands! It's really nice outside so the outdoor seating was backed up a little and then we were seated right on the water. So close in fact I moved my phone to the inside of the table. Mrs got the coconut shrimp with mashed potatoes, vegetables ( broccoli and carrots) and garlic ciabatta bread. First of all the shrimp were huge, the mashed potatoes tasted like what mom made vegetables were cooked perfectly and the bread to die for since it was crunchy and soft with a not too overpowering garlic flavor. And she started off with a pina colada because you know why not cuz it's Florida 75 out and sitting dockside! Not being as hungry as she was I ordered the 1/2 pound of peel n eat shrimp and it was the bomb and the cocktail sauce was hot and spicy just like i like it . Brian our server was very nice and funny and great to talk to about the area. We're flying back out tomorrow however when we get back here this place is first on the list!
Sidney was such a great server! We were in a little rush and didn't even have mention it because she was so attentive and the kitchen was so on top of it. The food was so amazing, highly recommend the chargrilled octopus and red grouper!
I was staying near the hotel up the street and they didn't have the lunch open. I came down here not knowing what to expect. When you walk in you'll be greeted by the host. If your going to sit down or want to go to the bar area to get food to go. The view is absolutely amazing if you sit outside. The bar is clean and you can see the drinks are clean. The service is spectacular. The food is delicious. I ended up getting the salmon and I would order it again. My recommendation would be high. Payment here will be cash or credit card.
We arrived by boat, on Dec. 23rd and had the most wonderful family dinner at Rendevous. Our group consisted of 15 adults with various food preference but the menu had something delicious for everyone! We enjoyed exceptional stone crab, distinctive cocktails, impressive specials, in addition to hearty salads, pasta dishes, ribs, fish, and all the florida favorites you can think of! Our server was very attentive and personable and our meals all came out hot & prompt. We could not pass on the decadent cheesecake, red velvet & banana cream desserts! The dockside restaurant has such a warm and friendly, true Florida vibe, day or night- you can't beat being waterside. There is nothing better than when the owner of the restaurant himself comes over to let you know they appreciate the chance to make your dining experience fabulous! My 90 year old Dad says to give Rendevous 5 stars all the way!

We stopped by while staying overnight after our cruise, and it did not disappoint. I had the clams with rice and beans. The rice and beans was soooo good. I wanted to go back but we didn't have time. Very good service as well. We enjoyed it

First time visitors here at Rendezvous staying at the TRV park close by. Garrett was our server and he was absolutely phenomenal. He knew every detail to any food or drink item on the menu. We listened to his recommendations and didn’t get disappointed by one thing! Not to mention the beautiful views on the water. Totally recommend this place if you’re hungry for a good meal that will fill you up nutritionally. Great pricing for the amount and quality of food. Thank you Garrett for the experience!
We had an incredible lunch there today! Garrett, our server was amazing and recommended the lamb appetizer, and the Chilean Seabass, in curry sauce. Everything he recommended was wonderful. The Service was perfect. A perfect afternoon lunch!
Visited with a party of 5 while on vacation. Drinks were excellent, spicy bloody Mary and 2 frozen strawberry daiquiris (very tart!). Our group had the clam chowder, beer battered shrimp, coconut shrimp salad, and shrimp jambalaya (spicy). Beer battered shrimp were very fresh and very large. A little skimpy on the french fries, but left very full. Prices were reasonable for 3 alcoholic drinks and 5 entrees, $200 before tip. We would definitely visit again if in the area.
Garett is always such an amazing server. An extreme eye for detail. I came and had the Seabass, which was highly recommended by him and it was an amazing choice. The atmosphere is perfect and the people are extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend it’s a beautiful restaurant in the water.
Amazing!!! It was very busy when we were there so our reservation was delayed slightly. Worth the wait! Portions were huge, food was amazing, service was fast, and the environment was exactly what we were looking for on our last night of vacation. For appetizers, we ordered the marinated steak skewers, seafood spinach dip, and were comped a shrimp cocktail for our reservation delay. The flank steak was marinated to perfection, tender and juicy. The dip was perfectly balanced with amazing flavor! The shrimp were huge and fresh. I don’t typically eat shrimp but I did try a bite and surprisingly liked it. For dinner, I had the fried halibut. Amazing! The breading was crispy and so flavorful. My husband had the crab legs, rich and delicious. We tried to eat everything but there was so much food we couldn’t finish everything. We sat outside on the deck and would definitely recommend if you get the chance. We will definitely be back next time we visit the area.
Great food! Wife and I got the New England Clam Chowder! It was very flavorful and hearty! We could have made a meal out of that! Wife got the Po-Boy Buffalo Chicken and it wasn’t soggy. The chicken was plentiful and tender. We think they toss them in sauce first. Delicious! I had the Beer Battered Fish and chips. Not overcooked and crispy! Fish was light and flaky! The fries are light and crispy! Definitely a recommended place to eat!

Absolutely loved the food here! We had the oysters, red grouper, garlic mashed potatoes. So delicious and fresh. Our waiter was great as well. prices very reasonable.
Great spot for an early dinner. There's a great deck that overlooks a dock so you're on the water. The staff is friendly and efficient. The mixed drinks are quite watered down. I cannot recommend the margaritas. The food is good and the menu is extensive ... too many options, lol. I recommend for a relaxed, casual evening out.
Drinks were average. Do not get the blueberry strawberry perfect margarita. It was recommended and it wasn’t good. It had an artificial taste. Espresso martini was good. Food was just ok. Chicken tenders were good but I didn’t love lobster pops and calamari. It’s a great atmosphere here! Great views of the river and all the yachts. A great place to also watch a sports game. Service was good. Staff was kind.
The waitstaff is great. Very helpful and attentive. The venue is very clean and has great waterfront seating. We opted for indoors. The indoor atmosphere isn't bad, but it could be better. It's in an odd middle ground between casual eatery and upscale dining (especially with some of the prices). The food was pretty solid fare overall. The seasoning left a bit to the imagination, but the flavor of the fish was still good. Overall, definitely recommend.
Stopped here before our flight back home. Unfortunately they didn’t serve lunch until 11:30am Sat. We ordered breakfast. I had the ? Breakfast that came with eggs, sausage, bacon and strawberry pancakes. Really large portion and delicious. Wife had the avocado toast (which was their first day they said to serve it). Wife thought it was very good as well. Our server was really sweet and attentive. The back patio had nice views of the boat docks. Give this place a try if you are in the area and want a place close to Fort Lauderdale airport.
Quant restaurant right on the intercoastal with beautiful views of the water from the outside patio. Our server was very sweet and attentive. The food was very good overall but this is definitely a fish restaurant. Not many vegetarian options and I didn't see any vegan options. The blackened mahi sandwich and fries I ordered were very good. They do have a veggie burger which my kids really enjoyed. They have a limited number of desserts but the chocolate mouse cake we got was decadent but not overly so. The old fashioned was very strong but I really enjoyed it. Overall great experience. We'd definitely go back.
Great mojitoes, they were by far the best I’ve had in a while. I had the blackened salmon with black beans and rice which was good but I felt was under seasoned. Might have been best to get the marinated version. My friends had the shrimp gumbo and steak with rice and black beans. Both were delicious and I preferred how the steak was done. My other friend had the fish and chips. This was a nice restaurant to relax and have some drinks with friends. And the work staff was great. The fountain outside was super cute and a cute place to take pictures.
Great drinks and a really solid food experience overall. We started with the cracked conch and calamari, and both were excellent. The seafood tasted very fresh, with a light, clean batter that stayed crisp without being greasy or heavy. The conch had a nice chew without being tough, and the calamari was tender, not rubbery at all. A squeeze of lemon brightened everything up, and a few hits of hot sauce took it to the next level. Simple, classic, and done right. I paired that with a mojito that was well balanced, not overly sweet, with good mint and lime flavor. For entrées, I ordered the shrimp pasta and it really stood out. The homemade bucatini had a great bite and held the sauce well. The creamy white sauce leaned heavily into white wine, which I actually loved. It gave the dish a depth and slight acidity that kept it from feeling too rich. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, and worked really well with the pasta. I also had the grilled shrimp tacos, which were solid and enjoyable. Nothing flashy, but no complaints at all. Where that plate really shined was the rice and beans. Easily one of the highlights of the meal. The beans were clearly slow cooked, soft, creamy, and full of flavor, and the rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. One of those simple sides that tells you someone in the kitchen actually cares. For dessert, we went with the carrot cake. It was mid tier. Not bad, not amazing. Very similar to a Publix carrot cake. Moist, pleasant, but nothing particularly memorable or unique. The music selection was great, with classics like Bob Marley, Steve Miller Band, Billy Joel, and similar artists setting a relaxed tone. The lighting and waterfront ambience made the whole space feel chill and inviting. Prices were fair and reasonable for the location. I’d definitely come back and try something else on the menu. I can see why our friends brought us here. It’s clearly a place that’s stood the test of time thanks to good service, a well cared for menu, and consistently good vibes. The only reason I can’t give it a full five stars is because while it was great, it’s more Florida worthy than plan a whole trip just to eat here worthy. P.S. No don’t take the plate yet! There’s still calamari in there 😂
Went to dinner here. Beer was late coming out(had to tap a keg). Didn't taste quite right, maybe line wasn't clean? Kitchen was late on a pasta dish and even later on that persons bread. Rest of us were eating. Food was excellent.
We liked visiting this place when we're in town. Our food was delicious and the view on the patio is nice. The service could be better but it's not bad.

Awesome food, large menu, great staff. Tons of seafood options. We got chowder, oysters Rockefeller, steamed shrimp and multiple alcoholic drinks.
It was a nice place, and it looked clean. The atmosphere was loud inside, so we chose the outdoor patio. The service was great and our waiter was tentatively and recommended lots for us to choose from. The platting and presentations were great. See Pic's. The problem I had was the food. My NY strip, with the add-on warm water lobster tail, both were flavorless. My wife had the fish tacos that were the same way, along with my daughters crab cake dinner. The only dish that had flavor was my cousin's Seafood Curry dish, but it was really sweet.
Had lunch here before catching our flight. Waited about 20 minutes to sit outside, but got a table dockside. I had the French dip with fresh veggies. It had no flavor. Veggies were undercooked. Hubby had seared tuna salad. He enjoyed it. With two iced teas, the bill was $50. Relaxing spot overlooking the marina, but likely won't return.
