It was a really nice place to spend time. It was close to the hotel, the service was great, and the ice cream, coffee, juices, and baked goods were delicious! I recommend it to anyone in the area. There's a wide selection, low prices, and you can relax outside where there are plenty of tables or inside in the air conditioning.

Breakfast and lunch foods were delicious. Prosciutto cotto and crudo sandwiches were a good size and the pastries were 🤌👌 Espresso and Americano coffee were strong the way I like it. Would Caffé Italia again.

This was our first stop in Rome as it opposite our hotel and we had to wait half hour for check in. The food was absolutely delicious!! We stopped here for a drink and snack almost every day while we were staying, really lovely welcoming service!

Wonderful establishment! Lifesaver for anyone staying at the Domus Sessoriana across the road. Great coffee (Illy) and pastries. We shared one of their cheesecakes for my wife's birthday. Really lovely!

oggi, 2 agosto, mi hanno invitato a partecipare ad un incontro tra amici presso questo locale. Interessante location nel cuore di Roma. Sala interna per circa 40 persone e anche spazio esterno. Buon servizio da utilizzare per incontri di gruppo. Consigliato.

Dopo cena per caso ci siamo fermati in questo bar.....vastissima scelta di dolci e cornetti. La sacher monoporzione che abbiamo scelto era freschissima servita con la panna (5€ al pezzo) accompagnata da un buon caffè tutto servito al tavolino all'esterno. 👍

Uno dei bar più belli della zona, con ampi spazi interni ed esterni per potersi accomodare, con un'ampia scelta di dolci. Prezzi un po' più cari della media del quartiere. Personale cordiale.

Tutto buono, ma prezzi per una colazione un pò alti!

Ho conosciuto questa pasticceria perché una volta una signora in ospedale offrì le frappe comprate qui a mia madre che era ricoverata. Dall’epoca mi ricorda questo episodio e mia madre quindi se passo lì vicino, per tradizione, ci prendo sempre le frappe ed I bignè di San Giuseppe rigorosamente fritti anche se quest’anno ne hanno fatti pochi e mi sono dovuta “accontentare “ di quelli al forno…una bontà, la pasta del bignè era leggerissima e si scioglieva in bocca. La crema…in abbondanza ed ottima!

Caffè Italia – Roma Locale storico in una posizione davvero comoda, ideale per una pausa veloce o un caffè al volo mentre si gira la città. Il caffè è buono, intenso e servito come si deve, proprio come ci si aspetta a Roma. I cornetti sono freschi e ben farciti, soprattutto al mattino, quando il locale è più vivo e frequentato. Il servizio è rapido, anche se nei momenti di maggiore affluenza può risultare un po’ sbrigativo, ma è comprensibile vista la quantità di clienti. L’ambiente è semplice, senza troppi fronzoli, ma pulito e ordinato. I prezzi sono in linea con la zona, leggermente più alti se ci si siede, ma nella media per un bar centrale. Nel complesso, un buon punto di riferimento per una pausa caffè o una colazione veloce, soprattutto se si è di passaggio

Decent pastries , but charged more money than other restaurants right down the street. It was hard to enjoy the food when you knew you were paying double what you paid at another restaurant the previous day. The pastries were fine, but not the best I’ve ever had.

Ottimi prodotti per la colazione cappuccino e cornetteria varia e buona. Purtroppo da un po' di tempo il macchinista lento ma lento serve chi vuole non ti guarda nemmeno e chi gli fa da spalla non lo aiuta non è adatto per la mole di lavoro....in passato c'erano macchinisti doc eccezionali..... Date un addestramento al nuovo per favore. Aggiornamento stamattina 11 febbraio 2026 : arrivo al bancone con scontrino e chiedo dopo aver detto un "Buongiorno" ben udibile e cortese, un cappuccino. Alla macchina il solito tizio che tranquillamente se ne stava ad osservare e leggere etichetta di una bottiglia.... Attendo... Attendo... Nessun cenno di iniziare a preparare questo cappuccino.... I suoi colleghi due al banco lo osservano in silenzio nonostante si rendano conto dell'atteggiamento assurdo del collega .... Praticamente rassegnati . In seguito a me è arrivato un altro cliente che gli chiede il solito ma nasce una discussione proprio per lo stesso motivo. Il cliente ho notato visibilmente irritato. Ma possibile che nessuno corregge questa persona? Ma il titolare dell'attività è a conoscenza di questa situazione? Veramente vergognoso.

Cibo nella media, ambiente e servizio pessimi. Mi fermo a colazione con un amico e chiediamo di essere serviti all'esterno. Pessima decisione perché il dehor del bar è preda di piccioni che camminavano sui tavoli e che ci volavano a pochi centimetri dalla faccia. Consumata velocemente la colazione faccio presente al personale in cassa la situazione inaccettabile ricevendo non delle scuse ma delle risposte infastidite. DA EVITARE. Average food, terrible premises and service. I stopped by for breakfast with a friend and we asked to be seated outside. Bad decision, as the outdoor area of the bar was overrun by pigeons walking on the tables and flying just a few centimeters from our faces. We hurried through breakfast and when I pointed out the unacceptable situation to the staff at the counter, instead of an apology I received annoyed replies. TO BE AVOIDED.

Conosco questo posto da oltre vent’anni, purtroppo non è più quello di una volta, poco fa ho chiesto un cappuccino e un fagottino al cioccolato. Nonostante ho fatto vedere al personale che quello non era un fagottino perché era un minuscolo cornetto con un buco dentro, mi hanno fatto pagare lo stesso per intero senza pensare due volte. Mai più.

Questo bar si presenta un po’ male, con due mega cestini per buttare i tovaglioli e quant’altro grandi e sporchi, molto in vista. Niente di particolare il caffè ed anche il servizio.

Sabato pomeriggio torno a casa con mia figlia, prima di salire a casa ci fermiamo a prendere un gelato al bar Italia e siccome il tempo che dedico alla bambina mi sembra sempre troppo poco penso di sedermi al tavolino fuori…. Una coppa piccola da € 2,50 Una coppa media da € 3,00 TOTALE SCONTRINO 13,00 EURO Va bene il servizio al tavolo, ma così mi sembra un pelino troppo…. Ovviamente non ci metterò mai più piede

Cassiera maleducata e non accettano carte per pagamento ....forse su un caffè non ci guadagnano.Da evitare ....il caffè era buono vorrei vedere 1 euro e 20.

We went there for a late breakfast and it was fine until we went to pay. There was 3 of us and 2 of us got served and told to sit down, one other took a while to get served and then paid before sitting down. When the two that didn’t pay went to pay before leaving we got charged for my friend that had already paid. When we brought this to their attention the lady at the counter did not remember my friend paying and despite us showing the bank transaction they did not believe us. We so we ended up paying twice for my friend’s order. We found them very rude and not at all hospitable. Never coming back again
