5 stelle non basterebbero per valutare l'umanità dei proprietari del luogo. Ieri sera io e altri 4 ragazzi ci siamo ritrovati in questo bar in seguito a una truffa e loro ci hanno aiutato in tutti i modi per cercare di risolvere la situazione e offrirci una soluzione. Complimenti per l'umanità, consiglio tutto perché è tutto buono e vi sentirete a casa con chi lavora lì! Grazie ancora!!!

Abbiamo avuto un problema con un appartamento e siamo rimasti senza e loro hanno fatto di tutto per darci una mano. Grazie per quello che avete fatto per noi, avete avuto un senso di altruismo che ormai si sta andando a perdere, ci avete trattato come vostri figli. Oltre questo, il servizio impeccabile, e qualità prezzo ottima. Consiglio vivamente❤️❤️❤️

Bar eccezionale!!! Maritozzo commovente, torte fatte in casa, ospitali e cordiali. non vedo l’ora di tornare a loro per farci una colazione come si deve!!!

L'esperienza al bar (o più nostranamente, caffetteria) come quella di una volta, autentica e originale. Niente fronzoli, simpaticissima gestione familiare con cibo delizioso (azzarderei dire, come quello della nonna) e atmosfera squisitamente casereccia (complici le banconote dei turisti appese un po' dappertutto). Senza dubbio, un punto di riferimento per i prossimi viaggi a Roma.

Absolutely amazing food! Everything we tried here was phenomenal! All the dishes were perfectly seasoned and tasted delicious. We tried the (vegetarian) eggplant parmesan, carbonara and homemade pistachio chocolate cake. It was so good that we came here again the next day to try out more. We had the ravioli and pasta in mushroom sauce (vegetarian) which were as we expected really good! We'll definitely recommend checking them out. The place is very close to the Vatican Museum and the family is very warm and hospitable. 10/10 would definitely be here again on our next Rome trip!! (PS. We went here during off times but the kitchen was open and served us pretty quickly.)

A cozy, lovely café-restaurant near the Vatican, run by a very nice family. Make sure to try the homemade cakes, you can truly taste the love in them. It became a special memory for us and was the perfect place to relax after visiting the Vatican.

This wonderful family-owned café made us feel instantly at home. Stefano, “Nellie,” and Daniel welcomed us like family — warm smiles, great conversation, and genuine care. Their Aperol Spritz was one of the best we’ve had anywhere — perfectly balanced and beautifully served — absolutely delicious! The homemade ravioli and lasagna were incredible, rich with real Italian flavor. And the desserts… WOW! The cannoli and chocolate-filled croissant were unforgettable. The café is cozy and full of personality — surrounded by international currency and good vibes. You can tell this family puts their heart into everything they do. We discovered this place by chance, but it became one of our favorite memories of Rome. Delicious food, amazing drinks, and a family who makes you feel part of theirs. If you want a place that feels like home, with cooks that feel like family, and food that you’ll dream about for years to come, this is where you want to go. 7 years ago I studied in Rome for a summer and came to this cafe every day. The thing I missed most about Rome was this food. Specially the lasagna and cacio de Pepe. It is worth the quick bus ride from the main city. Especially if you’re visiting the Vatican as it is right there! Do yourselves a favor and come here for coffee, pastries, and most especially, pasta!

On Thursday, May 15, we had booked a tour for Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. Since we were early, we went to find where we could have a drink. Then we came across a small cafe "Caffetteria Sonnino. This small cafe is run by a sweet family. We were warmly welcomed by the son. First I received a nice compliment and then we were surprised by a delicious special cappuccino and a mocktail. With that we also ordered piece of cake that is made fresh by the mother. It was not a piece, but a piece of cake🤭. Should you be in Rome and near the Vatican museum, we recommend stopping by this warm family and be surprised by the delicious menu. Photos don't lie😉. We were just making our way towards the Vatican, but I needed a rest. Thanks goodness this place was just where we needed it. We only had a cappuccino especiale and one of their custom fruit mocktails. The drinks were not only delicious, but so beautiful, like works of art! We had such a lovely moment, sitting outside, enjoying the atmosphere. And then, all refreshed, we continued on our way.

What a lovely little family run cafe with full menu of amazing coffees, cocktails, pastas and everything. Such a warm family, everything is cooked by the mother herself. The special coffees are to die for - pistachio filled to the brim, the cakes are finger licking, and so was gnocchi and mushroom pasta. Thoroughly loved it and speaking to such a lovely family.

I came across this cafe while searching online and I’m so glad I did! It was the cutest cafe ever! It was owned by a local Italian family who were the sweetest and most welcoming people ever. They spoke English and Italian and explained each dish to us before we ordered. The food came out quickly and it was so delicious! We loved the pastries so much that we came back for pasta and got pizza to-go. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, I highly recommend this cafe! I hope to visit again next time I’m in Italy!

Siamo andati attirati dalle recensioni. Devo dire che le torte non erano neanche male, la mia meglio di quella di mia moglie (erano un ciambellone al cocco e uno al cioccolato); le porzioni sono molto consistenti. Il caffè non era molto buono e il cappuccio freddo in realtà era un caffè e latte. I signori al bancone sono molto gentili. Purtroppo il locale è quello che è: piccolo e i tavoli fuori direttamente esposti al traffico della strada. Abbiamo trovato il conto particolarmente salato: praticamente 14€ per quello che abbiamo consumato non ci stava proprio, soprattutto considerando che non molto distante si può fare una colazione molto più soddisfacente a La Fiorentina per un prezzo inferiore.

English: Terrible customer service. We went in to grab some juice, and when I opened the fridge door, a Coke Zero fell out on its own. It wasn’t my fault, but the staff insisted we pay for it and were extremely rude about it. After that, we tried to sit down for a moment, and they told us we couldn’t sit there—even though they had just forced us to buy something. We didn’t know it was their table, and their attitude made the whole experience worse. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. Just read their response that will tell you who they are.... Italian: Servizio clienti pessimo. Siamo entrati per prendere un succo, e quando ho aperto la porta del frigo, una Coca Zero è caduta da sola. Non era colpa mia, ma il personale ci ha costretto a pagarla ed è stato estremamente scortese. Dopo abbiamo provato a sederci per un momento, ma ci hanno detto che non potevamo sederci lì—nonostante ci avessero appena costretti a comprare qualcosa. Non sapevamo fosse il loro tavolo, e il loro atteggiamento ha reso l’esperienza ancora peggiore.

Locale pessimo, caffè terribile a due euro. E soprattutto personale scortese, maleducato, ignorante, che ci ha trattato male, come se ci stesse facendo un favore. Se non vuoi fare il barista, chiudilo il bar e fai un altro mestiere! Darei 0 stelle se fosse possibile
