This place is easily a top pick for pizza and wings in Rome. Order extra crispy wings and that's what you get. The pizza is never a let down. Fast delivery and very friendly service. A+

I don’t ever leave reviews, but this needed to be said. I never order from new pizza places that open up, because everytime I do instant disappointment! I know American pie isnt considered “New” anymore..but tonight is the 1st time I had it. We only got wings and fries, but it was perfect! The fries were seasoned well, the everything wings were Awesome! & my daughter really liked her mild wings.Definitely will ordering again!

Outstanding! First time trying the pie tonight. And glad I gave the new place a try. Very unique pizza for the area. Usually everyone's pie tastes similar or at least would fall into 3 or 4 categories. Crust was nice and fresh, a soft texture. It reminded me of Luigi's Pizza on Floyd ave back in the 80's. And their pizza was in the top 2 for Rome at that time. The outside and inside of the establishment was very clean and tidy. I hope these guys can grab a market share for their establishment in Rome. Will definitely be going back again.

Great food at reasonable prices! The delivery charge was only $3 dollars which was better than other places charging 10 dollars! Give American Pie the business they deserve a small mom and pop pizzeria and with pizza places in Rome raising prices they make it affordable to earn your business 💯

I Love Love Love Their Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. It's is so nice to bite into and be able to chew it. They take the time to Actually Cut Everything Into Small Piece's. For Me That is Why I Order That All the Time. ❤️

The pizza is great, but the greens are what you go here for. They're a little different. I think they have maybe a little vinager flavor, possibly juice from a pepperoncini? I don't know. Whatever it is, it works and they are fantastic. I usually get a garlic pie or something simple like that as well, and it's one of the better pizza's in town, as are the few specialty pies j I've had. I've also had a cold sub, ham and cheese I believe. The roll didn't really stand out to me, and being a bread guy that was kind of a letdown, but otherwise it was about average. It certainly wasn't bad and if you like most of the non-chain subs in Rome, you'll probably like theirs too. I'm still looking for my standout sub roll though like they have at Mello's or The Hub Eatery out in Utica, both places I'd recommend if you're on the hunt for a great sandwich. I haven't had any of their pasta's but I'd give it a try. Otherwise, friendly and quick service. I'm a late eater but just watch out for closing time. I know I've got them right as they were closing up for the night a couple times, but they were pleasant about it even though I picked my food up right as they were closing. So there's the long winded way of saying that this is another great local business, and you should definitly give them a try.

Unfortunately while I was getting my order my vehicle broke down. However, their customer service was amazing and the food was hot and fresh. Their salad was extremely fresh. I would highly suggest this place to anyone looking for great food.

Some complain about party cuts, but for those that say you should never party cut unless asked for is simply wrong. I grew up eating Tony's in new Harford, and they always cut them that way. Many others do the same. Wife had a chicken finger sub recently, and that was also good. Overall, I think American Pie is going to be the one to last in that location. I hope so...

Large pizza was smaller than I thought it’d be, but very good and the chicken wings were pretty tasty too!

Though it takes 30-40 minutes, the calzone isn't doughy like most other joints around here, but $12 for a large salad is kinda high.

Food was good. Only criticism I can give is spruce up and clean the bathroom. One waitress/worker was pretty loud behind counter and swore a few times. Customers don’t really care to hear all that.

The Pizza is delicious, nice and seasoned. The Wings need work though.. When Someone asks for Everything Wings we are expecting Wings with extra delicious Flavors added... Stop being afraid to use the Bleu cheese.

I’ve only ever stopped here for a quick slice. It’s a decent pizza place, but nothing special. I would rate the value as excellent, the service is really good, too. The pizza is good, in my opinion, not great. There’s not a ton of seating, but if you want a quick slice - it’s a great love to stop. I think it’s one of the only places where you can still get 2 slices and a soda for $5, which I consider a super value with prices of everything in the rise.

I would not say the pizza is way salty, it was just fine and even so I wouldn't mind a little added given I had a veggie packed pizza. The shaker parm helps. Overall it was very good, the only thing I wasn't a fan of was the bell peppers were a little bitter. There was lots of cheese, onions were tasty and fragrant, and THANK YOU because I can tell that FRESH real mushrooms are used. Nothing more sad than a canned mushroom. It was cold on the wintry night we ate in and the bell peppers weren't great that's only reason -1☆ otherwise good food and friendly staff.

It's good! Just something about it, I can't quite put my finger on it, to deserve more stars. It may... MAY be the best pizza in town at the moment.

Wings were good, cheese pizza needed more sauce, same with the one with fixins. Riggies were not the best, since there was more oil than sauce. It was hotter than medium, but that's a crapshoot since each person is different. It's about the sauce.

Person at the counter was nice. I got 2 slices, a cheese and garlic. The dough is like what you would buy at the store and make pizza at home with the kids. The sauce and dough are very salty. I like New York style pizza and this is not even close. Would not go back.

Order Friday and trying to finish the pizza, gotta relax with the salt that's all u taste I wouldn't eat it if I didn't spend 90 dollars

Wait time is quite long. They are friendly but we are not too comfortable with the ambiance of the place plus the pizza is average for us :)

Had ordered here recently with family and very impressed with calzone so ordered from here tonight. Ordered two calzones and went in expecting to pay $10 each plus tax according to the menu prices with 3 additional toppings each (listed on menu as $8.50 each plus $.50 per topping). Total before tax came to $28.75 and when asked why price was so high was just told prices increased but not reflected on menu. Happy with the food but disappointed with the almost 50% increase in price without explanation or an updated menu.

I bought a fish fry that was burnt and one side the breading underneath was uncooked. They gave me a half a cup of coleslaw. I was extremely disappointed and won’t go back!!!

Slices were old and dried out!! Nasty! I arrived at 7:20, and I only saw one worker! He chose to ignore me for about 7-8 minutes, before he got me my dried out old slices! Oh well...maybe I'll try DiCastro's next time!

This was our third choice after nearby pizza places were closed due to storm damage. They had two dried old pizzas to pick from for pizza by the slice. Opted to do a small one for three people. 25 minute wait for the pizza. It was ok. For being New York and in a city baring the name Rome, this is a miss.

First time at this eatery and I was not in impressed with the pizza. There's no reason to have bad pizza in Rome, NY! The sauce had zero flavor and there was a ton of it. Not enough cheese and very little pepperoni. It was priced nicely at $6.00 for two slices and a soda and the service was friendly. There may be good items in the menu, so I have heard, but the pizza is not it. Bonus points for being opened on mother's day when all the other pizzerias were closed.

Pizza barely average. Front counter girl has the personality of a tree stump. Dirty tables. All the shakers on the condiment bar were empty.

The lady just threw my piece in the oven for 1 minute just got done working 8 hours in the whole inside of my slices were freezing cold still

I waited 25 minutes for a burnt philly cheese steak sub. The part that was not burnt was good.

So I ordered the med chicken Reggie's on 05/20/2023 paid $19.00 had them delivered and started to eat them only to find out that it was very salty so ended up tossing it all in the trash never again will I get chicken Reggie's from there so not satisfied

Very rude disrespectful poor service they mess up and throw your stuff in a box and then when you go and look at it The meat and cheese is off the bread like they threw it togetherCheese melted to the paper you called them to let them know and they tell you there’s nothing they can do poor service never will order there again

Calzones were good. However absolutely no COVID safety whatsoever. Staff not wearing masks in food prep area, and not wearing masks at the cash register when taking orders. Guy vacuuming the dining area, no mask. Won't go back.

Ordered a bunch of appetizers. Fried raviolis, fried calamari, fried mushrooms, mozzarella sticks. The fried raviolis were so spicy that I couldn't even eat them. They tasted like they were breaded with jalapeno peppers. I have never had spicy fried raviolis before so that was very strange, and a heads up would have been nice. Also the marinara sauce with them was actually cocktail sauce. The fried calamari was mixed with pieces of chicken fingers. The fried mushrooms turned out to actually be fried cauliflower. I spent 40 dollars on this food and was EXTREMELY disappointed. I will never eat here again.

Unless asked for you never cut a puzza into party slices. Flavor is very weak. Wings are under cooked. And they cost more than the favorable competitor's in the area. So they need to serious step up their game or be like other 5 pizza joints that have been in that location

Ordered a small two item pizza with 2# wings. The pizza was scrawny, flimsy and hardly had any toppings. The wings were good size (13pcs.) but only a sprinkling of hot sauce....they were dry so we added are own. I also purchased 3 celery/bc @ $2 a piece....$28 total...feel ripped off. My kids laughed at the pizza. Just another failing business there at that location.

I ordered a pizza last night and when it got here it was cold and hard so I called them back to have a pizza remade but in the middle of that they were closing so I told them I would call the next day. So I called the next day and I told the lady what was wrong with the pizza and she told me that of course it would be cold cuz it's been delivered and sitting all night and that it would be hard because it's been sitting all night and told me that she couldn't do nothing about it and hung up on me so the food the service and the atmosphere was very terrible
