Under new management on April 4, 2018, the restaurant exudes a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. This elegant venue offers a brunch buffet. Dishes are paid by weight, regardless of what you order. Traditional and vegan cuisine is prepared with quality ingredients and delicately seasoned. It's very light and easy to digest. The tofu cavatelli is delicious, reminiscent of carbonara. Dining takes place in the garden, and the table service takes care of every aspect of the meal, from cutlery and drinks to bread, dessert, and coffee. There is no à la carte menu, although you can order express entrees, always in line with the ingredients used. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The garden is a recreational and relaxation area for both adults and children. Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept in accordance with current regulations. The price is certainly in line with the quality offered. Highly recommended.

Recensire questa location mi addolora un po'. Il posto è strepitoso, un giardino grandissimo di fronte al Tevere , con tanto di fontana al suo interno, all'altezza della Bocca della verità. Il muro di cinta che lo accompagna per il lungotevere è giustamente ben illuminato e invoglia a entrare. All'interno una doppia scala porta o alla zona aperitivi o alla zona cena. Abbiamo scelto la zona cena e pur senza prenotazione ci hanno fatto accomodare. La prima perplessità ha riguardato i tavoli. Alcuni apparecchiati e altri no, perché?? L'illuminazione ,a mio parere, potrebbe essere molto più curata. Non ci sono candele sui tavoli , ad esse sono preferite delle lampade che pendono dagli alberi o lampadine appese a dei fili nella parte meno frequentata del giardino. Il tutto è troppo illuminato e perde un po' di suggestione. Sul cibo non commento perché dipende dalle aspettative di ciascuno, pero lo chef che serve ai tavoli proprio non me lo aspettavo. Rimane una location favolosa per una cena di 14 agosto al centro di Roma.

The location is truly beautiful and charming, right in the center of Rome, which is why I highly recommend arriving well in advance given the difficulty in finding parking. We had pizza, and I must say the dough was good, and the ingredients were top-quality, but perhaps due to a poor choice on my part, the pizza didn't really impress me in terms of flavor. I didn't like the supplì at all, while the frittatina was average. The location and the attention to detail are certainly the reasons why the prices are quite high, even for very simple pizzas like the Margherita. The service isn't very fast, and although the staff was friendly, I have to mention that one glass and cutlery (which were promptly replaced) were dirty, which doesn't really fit with the type of place and the prices they charge. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great atmosphere and overall good food!

The location was beautiful, large, and atmospheric. We were there to celebrate a 30th birthday. Parking was very difficult to find nearby, so it's always best to arrive a little early. Payment was required at the entrance and guests were checked. The menu was a buffet; we were given three coupons for FOOD, POKE, and DRINK. Unfortunately, the service was good but a bit disorganized, as the lines were quite long. For example, when it came to getting FOOD, my friend and I found very little because it was almost sold out and the buffet hadn't been refilled (under the watchful eye of the guy who was yelling at the kitchen staff because they weren't bringing anything else, right in front of us). At the end of the night, the disco went on, but unfortunately there was a problem with the volume, which, to my taste, since it was under the console, didn't bother me that much. Another thing that could be improved are the bathrooms, calling it a dump is also a compliment, small, dirty and also quite smelly... I think that for the type of structure it is, it would be possible to at least try to make one bigger.

Amazing location and the cocktails are okay. However the menu is very limited and the food so so. Service varies. I've had helpful waiters and others less so. You have to book but often no one is answering the phone, even when they are open. They are supposed to open at 7.30, but keep everyone waiting outside for up to have an hour. Basically, I keep going back for the location. Could easily be five stars with better management.

Ieri sera sono stata in questo locale con due amiche. Il locale si trova in uno scenario stupendo. Noi siamo arrivate dopo le 22 ,30 e ci hanno detto che dalle 19 alle 22 fanno l’aperitivo a buffet. Il menu proposto è un pò povero, si può scegliere solo tra 6 cocktail e se non sbaglio 6 tipi di pizza, punto. Noi abbiamo chiesto al cameriere ma oltre al povero menu ci ha detto che c’è solo un tipo di vino bianco e un tipo di quello rosso, no stuzzichini. Allora abbiamo scelto di prendere la pizza, ieri però, nonostante non ci fosse il pienone nel locale, il cameriere ci ha avvertito che per il trancio di pizza c’era da aspettare almeno 30 minuti...abbiamo rinunciato. Insomma, per un locale così chic e che propone solo la possibilità di ordinare pizza mi sembra assurdo! Se non siete in grado, aggiungete al menu due patatine e qualche stuzzichino!!! Poi andando via abbiamo visto dei bicchierini con tiramisù...mah... Il locale ha grandi potenzialità ma mi sembra gestito male: non si può ordinare l’unico piatto nel menu...prezzi alti, 9-10€ per un tralcio di pizza, cocktail tra i 10-12€...anche il posacenere era sporco...insomma per un locale che vuole porsi su un piano superiore sono errori inaccettabili. Forse è ideale per un primo appuntamento. Ho visto anche molti bambini che giocavano e correvano...

The location is truly lovely, the food just adequate (a trio of carbonaras, very al dente, served on a single plate without separating the three versions), and the service truly unspeakable. You pay in advance, receive tokens whose use is unclear, and then you wait. For 40 minutes, no one came to take your order, not even to bring a glass of water (!). It was impossible to stop the waiters, who ran around haphazardly. After a 40-minute wait, we went to the manager FOUR times to ask, and finally, the manager herself came to take our orders (!). I should point out that we were there on a weekday evening and the restaurant wasn't busy, so there was no reason to justify the delay. We ordered wine and water, but the water never arrived. We had difficulty stopping a waiter to ask for water again; he recorded the order but didn't bring it. After another interminable few minutes, we managed to stop him again to ask for water, and he apologized and offered us an extra one (which was appreciated). No one came to ask if everything was okay or if we wanted dessert, so we left. I'd never seen such terrible service, but since it was a family night, we decided to laugh it off and had a pleasant evening anyway. The location itself would be worth a visit, but from previous reviews, I see that the service has been this poor for at least two years. It's clear there's no desire to improve, and for this reason, as long as the management remains the same, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately the management of this beautiful garden has changed since last year, and the new managers have no clue of good food, refinement, beauty nor hospitality. The guard at the door is so unwelcoming, they are trying to copy american night clubs which is a disaster for Rome , what a shame for this superb cloister , it deserves a cultured and esthete manager to run this gorgeous place the way it deserves to be taken care of.

2 stars instead of 1 because the drinks are good and the atmosphere amazing. Sent back the food, first time in 15 years in Italy. So did the table next to us. Cibo pessimo, servizio zero. Ate here in 2016 and it was good. I think every year they change management. 2017: avoid eating.

Only the place is worthgoing, the aperitive was poor, the beverages supposed to be chill were lukewarm instead, while the pizza was cold instead of being hot!! Prices too much for such a miserable quality. The service at the table was kind, but too slow. Only a pair of waiters for some fifty people.

Serata di halloween gestita in modo veramente pessimo. Una calca di gente per entrare anche con la prenotazione del tavolo, file interminabili per pagare una volta dentro e per consumare. Il locale era palesemente riempito oltre le loro possibilità, non c'era abbastanza personale e sicurezza inesistente. A metà serata mancava già da bere e c'erano solo due bagni in tutto lo stabile. Vergognoso a dir poco, mai più!

Organizzazione tremenda! non si è mai visto un locale che nella serata di halloween non abbia una persona all’entrata che gestisca le file. Prenoti il tavolo ma non sei neanche sicuro di entrare perché all’ultimo prendono e chiudono il cancello. Grazie a Dio non abbiamo pagato in anticipo. Da come si presenta, sembra un bel locale dove passare una bella serata, ma ahimè è talmente disorganizzato che perde tantissimi punti.

Ingannato dalla loro pubblicità postata sul web per la serata di halloween con tanti annessi e connessi. Non c’era nessun tema horror a cimitero e ospedale, i bagni erano di quelli chimici che non si poteva fare dei bisogni (per femmine mascherate in un determinato modo) la cena era all’aperto e c’era umidità che ti mangiava… Esperienza molto negativa Devo dare i complimenti per la locandina pubblicata su internet Ma dentro niente di più Da evitare

Ho partecipato ad una cena di gala nel mese di novembre. Pessima organizzazione e pessimo cibo. La cena era organizzata a buffet, la qualità del cibo era miseramente imbarazzante per quanto era scadente. Abbiamo potuto pagare la cena solo in contanti, c'è chi è dovuto uscire a cercare un bancomat .... Il personale presente (tutto rigorosamente non italiano, alla faccia di chi frequenta con merito una scuola alberghiera ...) era assolutamente inadeguato, la maggior parte di loro non aveva mai tenuto un piatto da portata tra le mani. Scene imbarazzanti nel momento in cui i camerieri provavano a stappare una bottiglia .... Non ho parole ....

Imbarazzante è poco. Uno dei peggiori apericena di sempre. 20 euro per un piatto di carta con un menu stile San Camillo, insalata di pollo mista a verdure e zucchine e melanzana alla parmigiana dura e fredda i piatti forti. Richiedono un dress code per l'accesso e poi all'interno vengono serviti cibi e cocktail di qualità davvero troppo bassa. Pochissimi camerieri che fanno il possibile ma comunque attese troppo lunghe per poter formulare un ordine. Questo posto è l'ennesimo che a Roma si adagia su una bella location che comunque attira sempre un buon numero di persone ma che offre una qualità davvero inesistente.

Se mi fate mangiare male ed abbondante non ci sto! Bisogna inseguire la qualità invece di portate banali quasi da mensa scarsa. Se credete che non abbia il palato per un vino bianco di scarsissimo valore servito male ed addirittura razionato 1 lt x tavolo ( ogni 6 commensali ). Se il piacere della mia bellissima compagnia deve essere limitato dall'arsura di una sera d'estate perchè pensate di razionare acqua 1 lt x 6 persone con la beffa di chiedere i soldi x le bottigliette aggiuntive su un plafond importante... Ma nello stesso momento sono immersa in un potenziale piacevole spazio che voi non riuscite nè a Razionalizzare nè a Sfruttare nè a Valorizzare nè ad Allestire con un minimo di gusto, allora gestori vi consiglio proprio di cambiare mestiere e mi chiedo ( retoricamente)chi vi abbia affidato un gioiello grezzo quando tanti professionisti renderebbero indimenticabile le serate romane lungo il Tevere????

All'ingresso i buttafuori si atteggiano come se stessimo nel locale più IN di New York. Non mi permettono di portare dentro il casco (ci può stare), ma non hanno neanche un guardaroba. La gentilezza non sanno cosa sia. Inoltre prezzi alti per un posto come tanti

Serata di Halloween rovinata da incompetenza e disorganizzazione. Avevamo prenotato un tavolo per la sera del 31 diversi giorni in anticipo ma, una volta arrivati, ci siamo ritrovati davanti una calca di persone che spingevano e cercavano di farsi strada da soli per entrare. Non c'erano file separate per chi aveva prenotato e chi no, tutti mischiati e accalcati gli uni sugli altri, non c'era nessuno dello staff a controllare la situazione e dopo aver rischiato il soffocamento per un paio d'ore (nella speranza di riuscire ad entrare o perlomeno di parlare con qualcuno visto che AVEVAMO PRENOTATO) ce ne siamo andati. Mai più, davvero indecente!

Location con del potenziale ma veramente gestita male. Un locale che punta sulla quantità dei clienti trascurando completamente la qualità del servizio (inesistente). 20 euro di ingresso per un cocktail con "quello che c'è rimasto", qualcosa di assurdo. Per non parlare di com'è stato gestito l'accesso al locale, siamo stati in fila 2 ore e quando siamo arrivati ci hanno chiuso i cancelli in faccia per riaprirli solo 30 minuti dopo. Esperienza nauseante, il locale andrebbe fatto chiudere.

Should have trusted the Google reviews. Place is too big for them to manage. It's really big but very badly managed. Our beer took 20 minutes to come, and the food even longer. Food was strictly ok. Highly over priced. Service is very very slow. I think they hire temporary staff depending on the night. Strictly ok and avoidable.

Don't be fooled by the beauty and the position of this place. They didnt let a friend in because of his outfit, which was more than decent, with no explaination. The overall experience is not bad but not even memorable. There are tons of cooler places in Rome with better prices and good experiences to offer and with less boring people.
