Recensioni di La Brace Roppolo
Ottimo il cibo. Prezzi onesti.
Personale accogliente. CONSIGLIATISSIMO
Nice place, soft Cuban music, pleasant atmosphere
We had lunch today. Fried porcini mushrooms, sliced steak with porcini mushrooms, and octopus with porcini mushrooms. Everything was excellent and plentiful. We'll be back!
We ate one evening during the Oropa walk. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had excellent tripe, polenta with wild boar, and agnolotti with white ragù. Everything was fantastic!
A restaurant on the first stage of the Oropa Camino. The food is very good, with a good selection. The service is friendly and helpful. A bit pricey. In my opinion, they should offer a pilgrim's menu, like many other affiliated restaurants, since it's recommended on the Oropa Camino website.
Chosen for completely random reasons, we had a great time! Ample dedicated parking with room for large campers, tables both outside and inside, truly excellent food! .... Pelosi were more than welcome (fresh water served immediately 👏) We ordered: old-fashioned veal with tuna sauce, fillet with two peppers Salt and pepper tagliata, special potatoes, still water half a bottle of 'Ratti' Nebbiolo... I hadn't eaten veal with tuna sauce since my aunt used to make it (30 years ago), and I must say the flavor was identical, exquisite. I really felt like I was back in the past 😌 the meat was tender and well-finished, the sauce was homemade, as was the fillet, cooked to perfection and very flavorful, the tagliata was soft and tasty, and the medium rare was perfect. To finish with a delicious homemade crema catalana... We couldn't have had a better experience in every way. The manager's extreme kindness and attentiveness were the icing on the cake. We highly recommend it.
We were stopping here for a beer on the Camino di Oropa. Friendly staff, excellent beer. The atmosphere could be improved a bit, but everything was clean.
On vacation in Roppolo, we ate at this restaurant tonight. I personally had penne with salmon, arugula, and nutmeg, a side of vegetables, and to finish, a homemade lemon cake. My husband had penne all'arrabbiata, a side of vegetables, and to finish, fresh blueberries with cream and caramel. Everything was excellent from start to finish. We were served by a truly kind woman who even brought a bowl of water for our dog. Special thanks go to the chef, who truly delighted our palates with all these delicacies. We discovered this place by chance, and it was a truly pleasant surprise. The chef was very friendly and kind, and we even had a chat with him. Thanks again. Katia, Alessandro, and little Aaron 😊😊😊
Ok
A meticulously maintained trattoria with exceptionally high-quality dishes. The menu caters to all tastes. The tagliolini with sausage and mushrooms are a must-try... Top!
A quaint restaurant near Lake Viverone where you're greeted with kindness, courtesy, and a smile. The extensive menu, as well as the portions, caters to all palates with quality ingredients. Excellent balance between food quality, location, and staff service. Highly recommended.
Si dai non male come posto tutto sommato
Super accommodating and fast. The food is generous and delicious. We recommend it for pilgrims on the Camino de Oropa.
I was walking the Camino di Oropa and came to eat at this restaurant; luckily it was open, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to eat. Friendly staff, a somewhat confusing and overly spicy menu, but good meat, an old but welcoming location, good value.
Nothing special. Excellent location and ample parking, with an entrance that's unclear until the last minute whether it's open or closed. Service is prompt but basic, food is passable, and prices are too high for the kind of place it is compared to what it claims to be.
I tried the set menu. Maybe I ordered it on the wrong day, but the dishes were very basic. For my first course, I chose Ligurian-style spaghetti with tomato, olives, and capers rather than tagliatelle with chicken livers, and I received barely 80 grams. For my second course, I ordered porchetta, and for a side dish, there was nothing because there was only cauliflower or caponata (and I hate eggplant), still water, and coffee. All for €15. Disappointed, we'll see another time.
I ordered the menu of the day. The food was absolutely below average. They never brought water. They never brought two glasses, just the wine. They had a hair in the pasta dish, never apologized. They offered to re-do the dish, but I was halfway through and decided not to. The second course was "veal with tuna sauce," a cold cut from the supermarket with store-bought tuna sauce. I paid 15 euros (not much), but for a poor first and second course, poor wine, and poor service. The specialty is grilled meat, but at least from the menu of the day I expected to eat something satisfying.
