I always visit Gringos my favorite Mexican restaurant. On 11-21-25 my husband and I made a visit. The server Jaci exemplified excellent service. She made sure our order was correct. I forgot to tell her I was allergic to shrimp she apologized but it was my fault for not telling her. She gave me another order with a smile I appreciate her for her kindness.

Today I took my mom out to eat for Mother’s Day at Gringo’s. We always enjoy the food and atmosphere at this place. Our server, Colton was very helpful, friendly and attentive. He mentioned the San Luis platter was the special for the day, so I ordered it and my mom got the Seafood Enchilada Dinner. I like that Gringo’s gives you both green sauce and red salsa with tortilla chips while waiting for our food. The entree’s were excellent! We enjoyed the free ice cream cone at the end of our meal! Thanks for making Mother’s Day special for both of us! We’ll be back!

Had dinner here recently and our server, Holden, was AMAZING. He was genuinely kind, super attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask twice. He checked on us the perfect amount, gave great menu recommendations, and just had an upbeat, friendly vibe the whole time. You can tell he actually cares about his job and the people he’s serving.

When homecoming reservation plans elsewhere fell through for a sweet group of students, Gringos came to the rescue. Despite the fact that it was a busy Saturday, the hostess offered to ask the manager about seating and the manager quickly accommodated the group. The group had a great meal with fantastic service. Thank you for taking care of our students!

The food was amazing, a lot better then I expected and the sauce on the enchiladas was delicious and traditional. The service was top tier you didn't even have to ask for a refill they would just give it to you whenever you were low. The theme was really fitting and cozy for the food.

Take it from a Tex-Mex snob. This place is on point. We were in the area and had a couple hours to kill, so decided to stop in for a late lunch. We were definitely surprised. Being a chain restaurant, we really didn’t expect a whole lot that was not the case Let’s start with the server Gerardo, he is definitely an asset to the establishment and the pleasure to interact with The food was amazing. Just take a look at our pictures. Also, the margaritas were probably the best I’ve had in a long time. If you were in the market for TexMex, you should definitely give them a try. You will not be disappointed. Trust me I’m a fat kid.

Staffing from point of greeting at the door to all of the wait staff at the Rosenberg site are very attractive.Full bar, authentic vibe. Complimentary chip red or green salsas and soft serve ice cream as you exit.you can generally expect to pay in the $20 - $30 dollar range per meal.Reservations are not required but they can help at most location especially for Dinner as they are popular restaurant.

My favorite go-to Tex Mex restaurant! Love Gringos. I’ve been at the Rosenberg location multiple times and it’s always amazing. Never had 1 issue. My order would be the full order nacho plate and beef fajitas sub beans w double rice. The beef is soft and chewy. Service is always pretty good. They refill on chips/salsa when it’s running low or ask for extra when they first come to the table.

Anyway, Adriana recommended a couple of combo plates, which were perfect, but just be sure you're hungry because it's a lot of food. We had cheese enchiladas and chicken enchiladas, and I feel like the chicken were slightly better. And it wasn't like a couple pieces of dry chicken either, it was loaded with shredded chicken. The plate I had came with two flautas (taquitos for you white devils) and two mexican egg rolls. Yeah I know....Mexican egg rolls aren't exactly culturally correct, but hey....they're pretty damn good with the sauce they came with. The Queso Loco is pretty awesome and loaded with picadillo (ground beef). And they serve it with chicharones (pork rinds). Yeah....alot of Mexican lingo to learn here folks. Its ok to learn it though...if ya keep kicking Mexican folks out of the country you're gonna have to learn to cook their food at some point. And white folks, please don't get offended by this review. Remember, the restaurant is called Gringos...it literally translates to "White People". So take it easy, they're already poking fun at white folks. Anyways, the food is good, prices are reasonable, service is excellent, atmosphere is nice and the restaurant was clean. What else do you need...pics....cool. Ryan waited on us today at the Rosenberg location! he was very knowledgeable about the membership rewards program but was not at all pushy for me to sign up! I had a terrible experience at Gringo’s today. We came in as a party of seven to celebrate four birthdays in the month of December. This was supposed to be a fun lunch, and we simply wanted to sing happy birthday at our table. Instead, the situation was handled in a very strange and unprofessional way by management. When we mentioned that four people were celebrating birthdays, the manager came over and asked to see our IDs, which was completely unnecessary and inappropriate. We were not asking for free items, discounts, or anything alcohol-related. We were just celebrating birthdays. The manager’s behavior was odd and made the interaction uncomfortable for no reason. We spent $190 during this visit alone, and our group has spent much more over the years supporting this restaurant. For loyal, paying customers to be treated this way is extremely disappointing. The attitude and lack of professionalism afterward only made the experience worse. This experience reflects very poorly on Gringo’s. Management seriously needs retraining on how to interact with customers. What should have been a simple birthday lunch was completely ruined. We will not be returning and will be sharing this experience with others.

I ordered a shot of Patron neat.. and what do you know it was water, I passed it around to the other guests to get their opinion and they were in disbelief, it was my first drink, and it was literal water, to someone who only drinks a shot every blue moon or not, they sold me water, and thought I would not notice. I cannot make this up. I will contact the BBB, and liquor license company, ect. because this is bad, actually insane. Also having the waiter tell us to go to a website that is full of scammer links to rate them because they are in competition, how about getting things right and squared away before telling the whole table to rate you. UPDATE: I tried this establishment again, it’s been a few months almost a year.. so let’s get into it. The staff doesn’t know the menu. You ask questions, simple questions and, they say I don’t know sorry. The food was room temp not even close to hot, and fresh. The queso was too thick, because of the recipe or you guessed it cold. Tortilla soup, also room temp. The vents need to be redirected because it’s directly on the food also causing it to get cold. The fajitas were not sizzling when brought to table (cold) and the meat was super dry. The waiting area has a vent, but was not working or it’s just for looks.. it was 90 degrees in the small waiting area. It all just makes no sense. This location is in brazos town center so that is the first bad sign, it’s filled with mostly teen workers who get paid to be present but not actually work. Save your time and money guys… and head somewhere else. 😩 Let’s get into it. For the price the quantity is just not there. Chips taste store bought. Tortillas are like rubber. It’s just not up to par for the tex mex label. The picture of that beef fajita taco is embarrassing. No respect for the dollar of any customers who walk in the door.
