Only a 10 min wait for a table, but we opted for a counter seat so we were seated right away. Waitress got us menus and drinks really quick, I had her choose between 2 options for my food because I couldn't decide. The acai bowl was really good and fairly filling. Everything was fresh. Husband got the French toast which he said was really good as well. Our plates were (licked) clean. Seated at the counter, we saw all the food going out and how organized the whole team was. I don't think I could do it so kudos to all the employees. We've been here a few times before and it hasn't disappointed.

We’ve been away for a year and was looking forward to breakfast since coming back to visit. They didn’t disappoint. Brookfields is one of the things I missed most about moving from the area. Breakfast is always spot on and the staff is super friendly.

My mom and I went here for dinner and food was excellent. I had the artichoke sandwich and my mom had the fish and shrimp. Everything was fresh and homemade. Blue cheese dressing was delicious and my mom said the tartar sauce was one of the best she’s had. Erick was our server and he was nice and prompt. Reasonable prices too. I highly recommend if you want a comfortable casual meal.

Excellent upscale diner. New in town, had an early morning flight to Sac and needed breakfast before checking into the hotel. This place is everything I needed. Sunday morning brunches are busy but the wait moves pretty quick. The hosts were quick in taking names and accurate with estimate. The wife loves the bottomless mimosas, which come in six flavors. #daydrunksunday. The breakfasts are good and they know how to cook medium rare. The waitstaff was good at refills and checking in.

Vinny our server just seemed so happy to be there and that made our experience even more great. Wonderful selection of food and it tasted perfect. Very spacious diner with a different feel from normal enclosed diners. Beautiful high ceiling in the middle :) seems like a special place

Great spot to stop and eat if you're visiting the Golfland Sunsplash park. It is located across the parking lot. Great happy hour specials and a large menu with everything served daily! We had the French dip, chili Verde skillet nachos, and the chicken alfredo. Every dish was very good with a lot of flavor and good portions! Good beer selection also! Great way to unwind after getting soaked.

Breakfast on a holiday weekend at 9AM, seated in a window booth overlooking shady trees. I ordered my Belgian Waffle crispy and our server Vinnie got it right! Best waffle with light texture and vanilla notes. The strawberry jam is delicious and smells like fresh fruit. They carry green Tapatio and many hot sauce options.

We like it so much, we're going again this Saturday. It's a nice place to meet with friends and catch up on life.

You know there's something special about a restaurant when they Wrap their silverware in a thick, clothlike napkin, it just exudes class. Food was fresh, fast and tasty, I had the Greek omelette, my guest had an egg white omelette with artichoke hearts, tomatoes, spinach and feta cheese, both were outstanding. I love liver and onions when it's done well. I found my go-to. Brookfields. I searched for liver and onions on Google maps, and Brookfields was only a mile from where I was. Four people had already commented how good they were. One of them was saying she didn't have them but her husband thought they were great! Now there's a woman who's a keeper! 🥰 I also had Earl Grey tea with milk and sugar (I'm a New Zealander and I grew up with that.) It was delicious. I got bacon with it, which is how I ate liver as a kid, and I swear, that Ratatouille rat is hiding out in the kitchen because it was the best meal I've eaten in a while. A word to the wise: order it medium rare. Liver is very thin and it cooks through instantly. Cooking it medium rare keeps it very tender. Overcook live and it's very tough. It's a really big serving!

We enjoy the excellent service and friendly hospitality each time we are at Brookfields. We usually have breakfast when we go. Food comes out hot and very flavorful. They always check to make sure we have everything we need. Or a refill of hot chocolate or coffee. We do not feel rushed to eat and leave.

Family run restaurant, for over 20 years. Lifer wait staff, very friendly and helpful. A locals favorite. Great place for breakfast, but I hear their lunch and dinners are pretty good too. We went there twice for breakfast. First time I had a delicious vegetable frittata. The second time a very delicious 'incredible artichoke egg white omelet ' along with spinach, roasted red pepper, feta cheese and tomatoes. Both times the waitress asked "what kind of bread ?" When I declined. She offered fruit, cottage cheese or avocado instead. They go out of there way ,to make you enjoy your meal. It's one of those places where you what to try everything on their menu. A real gem.

Local Sacramento chain that was once called Bradshaws. Serving American home style cooking along with a few international flares. Staff here was friendly and helpful with our group keeping drinks topped. Food here was good and what you would expect from a chain. Breakfast is served all day so that means you always have a option for those picky eaters. This is a good place for a bite with friends but dont expect it to be fast.

This was my first time here, I came with my grandfather, my server was Bella. I got the turkey melt and he got the bbq something salad. When I say I’ve never had a turkey melt this good. I thought all turkey sandwiches were the same but no. I replaced the sourdough with a hoagie (on bellas recommendation, I hate sourdough. Thank you Bella!$ and added chipotle mayo, lettuce and pickle. It was INSANE. My grandpa ADORED his salad, it looked delicious. We added a side of sweet potato fries, crispy and yummy and perfect. Plus Bella gave the most amazing service. She gave the best recommendations, I never even hd a chance to ask for drink refills because every time I got close to finishing my drink she magically just appeared, like she was so on it it was insane, even though she had other tables. She was so friendly and sweet and on top of everything. She was also insanely patient (my grandpa can be a little talkative to service people when we go out lol she was so sweet, didn’t even phase her). The service goes crazy. She needs a raise. Whoever trained that young lady needs a raise as well. Thank you for the great food, and thank you for the incredible service Bella! Will for sure be coming back.

We were in town for only one night, had been working hard all day, and were both starved but wanted a good sit-down meal. Boy, are we glad we found Brookfields. Although it was Friday night at 7:00 pm. we were seated immediately, and our waitress appeared soon thereafter. She took our drink orders, which appeared almost as quickly as she did. She was very pleasant and helpful with menu suggestions. We both had Clam Chowder. It was one of the best Clam Chowders either of us ever had. It was made with chunky red potatoes, tons of clams and onions and really great (but not too thick) sauce. So, so good! For our entrées, my wife ordered the 'Coconut and Panko Crusted Haddock' and I ordered the 'Flat Iron Steak and Prawns'. The portions were huge, the presentation was exceptional and everything was delicious. The Haddock was tender and flavorful. My steak was perfectly cooked and tender. The prawns were huge. All our sauces and gravies were obviously scratch made as was the incredibly delectable cornbread which they serve with a bottle of delicious honey without requesting it. We were impressed by so many aspects of this meal, it is impossible to name them all. Our only issue was the lighting. It was too bright for such a fine meal. The price was amazing too!

We had a group of over 20 people with children included maybe six or eight children. The seating was not as requested so part of the group had to sit elsewhere. Not good! However our server was excellent. she handled the entire group with ease. food came out at reasonable times and she was on top of every water, soda drink, or requested items. refills came without even being asked for. All the food looked good and mine was very tasty. So the size of the group did not hinder the quality of the service nor the quality of the food served. If it wasn't for the seating problem I would have given Brookfield's 5 stars.

The food here is pretty good. The consistency of some food is different, but it still taste great. The scones are more like a soft bread, but great taste.

It's a little along the same lines as a Black Bear Diner. Similar clientele. The difference is the food is much better. Very packed, had a 10 mins wait time which wasn't bad at all. Service was quick. Was there for brunch. Ordered their top two dishes- the California Benedict and the fried chicken steak. The Benedict deserves 5 stars! The chicken Steak loses a star because the chicken wasn't seasoned much. Felt super bland compared to how flavorful the Benedict was. Overall felt like a fun family place!

Had breakfast at Brookfields on Taylor Rd. I had two eggs, sausage patties, biscuts and gravy, and a cup of coffee. $14 for this entree. Brookfield's is a Sacramento tradition, and because it was Sunday, there were plenty of waitresses. I was there meeting a friend, we were commutting together to Yocha Dehe to play golf. This Brookfield's is next to the park and ride by the freeway on- ramp. This is a great restaurant for comfort food.😋 Not that good if on a diet.

We had the chile verde skillet 🍳 which was really really flavorful! Fresh squeezed orange 🍊 juice 😋 was nourishing & tasted great. The huevos Ranchero was good but not exceptional. I’ve been to this establishment before and had a great experience so I was hoping I’d have an equally great experience when I returned today. While I did have a good service (Cyn was our server, she was phenomenal) and the food was good, my experience tapered off as we were leaving. Before we left had dessert and we ordered the strawberry ice cream shortcake and it was topped with whipped cream and strawberry compote. It was DELICIOUS. So much so I ordered two to go. To my abysmal, when I got home, I noticed there was no strawberry compote, no whip cream and the slice was nearly half the size of that I had in the restaurant. Dessert was definitely the best part of my experience at the restaurant and I didn’t get to enjoy what I payed for at home unfortunately.

I forgot the name of our sweet waitress. They were short staffed the night our group went out for dinner. Our waitress was busting her behind and we still got exemplary service. The food was okay and seems to gave gone a little downhill , but overall good deal.

The food was great. I was pleased to see the reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly. I liked the decor and family friendly atmosphere. I ordered the Country Breakfast with over-medium eggs. The meal comes in a hot skillet on a plate. A halved biscuit with savory country gravy, sausage patties and two eggs on top. Mine arrived with scrambled eggs on top, but it was still tasty. I only ordered water to drink. My bill came to $14.55 after tax, but before the tip. Not bad!

Wasnt much of a fan for the potatoes but not a big deal breaker. Wait time was 30 min on Saturday at 1130. So maybe you can call ahead those days to get on a list? Idk.

It was our first time to dine in since pandemic and it's also our first time to try out Brookfields. With their great service and cozy environment, we will surely go back! The only thing we didn't care for was the bacon. It was actually missing in one of our orders but it turned out, my husband didn't really miss anything. The bacon was hard to chew maybe because it was too thick. The rest of the food we had were delectable. I really loved their sweet potato pancakes and my husband was impressed with their egg's benedict which is one of his expertise. Can't wait to try out their other menus.

So I had to update my review. I just went there on Saturday with my grandmother. I ordered the waffle breakfast was scrambled eggs and bacon. The bacon was so hard I could hardly eat it and the eggs were cold. My grandmother ordered the egg. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, potatoes and a biscuit with gravy. Her eggs were also cold and so was the gravy. It seemed like they had everything pre-made but not kept hot. The order did come out extremely fast so I'm thinking that the only thing they really had to make was the waffle and everything else had just been sitting. This is the first time we were disappointed with the food. It was not good. We probably would have had better food at Denny's or McDonald's. I'm sure they use the same fryer for fish. Lemonade was not good. Clam chowder tasted weird. My wife liked the artichoke chicken though.

Let me start out on the positive note. The service was excellent. The waitress was polite and friendly. We were seated quickly and our food arrived without delay. Our booth and the whole restaurant in general was clean and the restaurant was not very crowded. There was also plenty of parking. That being said, the food was extremely sub par. I ordered chicken and mushrooms with artichoke hearts over brown rice and wild rice with a gravy on it and vegetables. It came with cornbread. All of my food was rather bland and reminded me of something you would have in a school cafeteria. My wife had turkey and stuffing with gravy and basically the same vegetables I had with a sourdough roll. Her turkey had a sitting on the counter too long and then heat it up flavor to it. The meat had a lot of gristle and the texture was kind of slimy. We took it with us to be polite but dropped it in the nearest trash can. The tapioca for dessert was okay but like everything else just a little bland. I could see from the reviews that many people like this location but I think we'll pass. Once again the service was excellent but the food just wasn't there. 🙁

I thought this was supposed to be a restaurant but apparently it’s a place where customers go to get treated like shit. Forgot to provide us utensils and gave us attitude when we asked for them. Been months but will never go back.

They prominently advertise fresh-squeezed orange juice. However, it’s disappointing that during Christmas week—one of the busiest times of the year—they don’t have orange juice available because their machine is broken. It’s surprising that a place highlighting fresh ingredients wouldn’t prioritize fixing such an essential item in their menu. This kind of oversight doesn’t align with the quality and attention to detail one would expect from their otherwise solid reputation.

The hostess was very rude, said our kids don't look old enough to get the kids menu and walked away. Our server was really nice but the food was disgusting.

My Denver omelette was made with lunch meat. That is absolutely inexcusable garbage. I can’t believe anybody has ever decided to come back unless their taste buds are broken.
