Recensioni di Torchy's Tacos Round Rock
Torchy's has some really creative tacos. I really loved the salsas they served with their shrimp and fried avocado tacos. The breakfast taco choices were great too The tacos are humongous and very reasonably priced and the atmosphere in this spot in particular is great. The bartender knew the beers on tap well and was super friendly. Stop by here if you're in the area and hungry
What can I say? Torchy‘s never lets me down. I always enjoy getting the taco of the month and yesterday was no exception.
Hands down the best tacos I've ever had. Please open a Torchy's in Madison WI.
Absolutely amazing ..1st time here and I will definitely be back.. the only thing we didn't like was the street corn.. wasn't very good. Everything else from yhe people to the sangria was Absolutely A-1 So so good. Will make the drive to roundrock from temple just for the fajita chicken taco and rice ..yummy salsa too
My favorite lunch spot in RR. Leanne is the best bartender around!
Clean location. Friendly staff. The salmon had good flavor.
Honestly a perfect experience. Everything was awesome. Great staff and clean restaurant. Highly recommend. 5 stars.
LOVE this spot in Round Rock! wait and bar staff super friendly and always provide quick service and great food and excellent drinks!
I appreciate the consistency of this Torchy's. The queso is always top-notch and the staff is well trained in customer service.
Torchy's Tacos is an absolute taco lover's paradise! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The service was impeccable, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. But let's talk about the real star here: the tacos. Torchy's takes taco creation to a whole new level. Each taco I tried was a work of art, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. The Trailer Park and Baja Shrimp tacos were personal favorites. The salsas and sides, especially the green chili queso and guacamole, were delicious. The drinks, including margaritas, were well-balanced and a perfect match for the tacos. While Torchy's isn't the cheapest option, the quality and creativity of the tacos make it worth every penny. In short, Torchy's Tacos is a must-visit for taco enthusiasts. It's a taco paradise that will leave you craving more.
Very good queso and very good tacos. Super quick service and great atmosphere. The outside eating option is amazing for the current weather
Torchy's is a stable in our family! Fantastic tacos and a nice, chill spot to dine. Take out or dine in, it always works well!
If you've been to Torchy's, you're not reading this. If you haven't, you need to go. Yes, it's a chain, but they have some of the best tacos you will ever eat. Order the Hillbilly Queso and you will want a Torchy's within a mile of your house. The service is also great. Why are you still reading this? Just, go, right now.
I love Torchy's Tacos! It's so convenient and fast. The flavors are great and I love all the options. Can't go there without getting the queso, and honestly every variation of their queso is delicious! The barbacoa is very good and the trailer taco with the queso is my favorite! The portions are perfect, and they are always very consistent. I go back often.
Designer tacos across the spectrum from mild to wild. I love all their different flavors of tacos and sauces. My only indie with Torchys us the tacos are a bit pricey for tacos, but I guess everything bus high cost these days.....
I always sit at the bar when I visit Torchy’s RR. Leanne the bartender is always pleasant. She make great food recommendations and her service is always with a smile. I definitely will recommend this location.
Literally my favorite Taco place in all of Texas. I never leave without visiting a Torchys. Every Taco I've ever had has been fantastic. I make it a point to try something new every time I go. So far I have not been disappointed. Torchys is fun and trendy. If you go to TX or any place that has a Torchys be sure to go. You will be glad you did.
Definitely my favorite location around. Super friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. I’m honestly not a taco gal, that’s why I never came here BUT then I discovered their Airstream Salad - now I’m obsessed. I have been to several other locations but as I said, this one is more than a fast-casual taco restaurant. It is very well organized so it doesn’t feel crowded when it actually is. The outdoor area is great to hang out as well.
We love all the choices of tacos and the fact that you can get breakfast tacos anytime of day. Love the sauces, love the sides, and the drinks. Nice touch that you can get half portion sides. Love the app and ease of ordering ahead. Keep in mind they have a full bar 👍😊 My favorite taco from Torchy's will always be the Crossroads, with tomatillo sauce❤️
A weekend of taste testing all kinds of food I still managed to hit up Torchy! I have no complaints the food was amazing and the customer service was impeccable like always. The drinks were tasty and we weren’t rushed to leave after we finished eating. I loved watching tv at the bar and enjoying my drink without being rushed. Even with the road work it wasn’t bad to get in and out of this location.
The tacos are very tasty, and the churros are the best I’ve ever tried. They’re delicious. I highly recommend this place!
Torchy's is always delicious and this new location is no exception. Strangely they did not offer the taco of the month. Didn't ask about the secret menu items. This is the largest Torchy's I've ever been in. If you've never been, go. If you have been, then go as this location is really nice.
They have a phenomenal outdoor dining meeting area under a giant patio! Came and enjoyed a phenomenal event hosted by a insurance company there and this Torchy's has the largest indoor dining area I have ever seen in a Torchy's franchise with indoor bar too! Margarita on the rocks was exceptional! Parking can be tricky and you have to time it right off I35 southward to get here aloff exit 254 Also clean environment, hard working friendly staff, clean fancy restrooms, and of course all the tacos, sauces, and queso you know Torchys franchise is famous for! :)
Tacos are the food of kings and while I'm not a king I still ate here. Ordered a trailer park and a shrimp taco and I knew it was going to be a great day. Some of my favorite tacos on earth and I imagine in space too. What's the complain about when you hit perfection. Wait they don't open till 9 so that's the one thing you won't love otherwise it's a yes yes yes for me.
This is my go-to taco place for many years now. Easy to get to from my shop in north Round Rock; none of the chaos for parking and access that the Hwy 79 location has. Chris (young fella in glasses) was extremely friendly, patient and helpful on 11/27 when we went in for a late lunch. Food was solid as always. No real crowd or wait. The Naughty Santa (secret menu) was truly delicious. Trailer Park and Crossroads never disappoint if you love chicken and brisket. Still love this place. Hope it continues to have these good traits! 🍻
Torchy's is both a family restaurant, or a good place to go and relax after work and grab a quick drink and some inexpensive food. The tacos 🌮 are both tasty and are packed with the meat of your choice.
Torchy’s Tacos is the kind of place that makes you rethink what a taco can be. From the first bite, the flavors hit — bold, creative, and perfectly balanced. Every taco on the menu feels like it was designed to surprise you in the best way possible. The tortillas are fresh and warm, the ingredients are high quality, and the combinations are fun without being gimmicky. I tried a few favorites (including the Trailer Park and the Brushfire), and each one was unique, juicy, and packed with flavor. The sauces are excellent — spicy where they should be and rich where they need to be. Their queso is worth ordering on the side just to dip everything in. Service was friendly and quick, even during the lunch rush, and everything came out hot and fresh. The vibe is casual and lively, perfect for grabbing a meal with friends or just a quick bite that feels special. If you love tacos that go beyond the ordinary — bold flavors, fun twists, and consistently delicious execution — Torchy’s is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
We love going to Torchy’s, luckily this location was right by our hotel while in town and we could walk over. Always good and enjoyed the hillbilly queso.
Our favorite taco spot. The food quality is really good for the price, the service and speed has no flaws I can think of. The queso is legendary. (Their secret menu is full of DELICIOUS and great value items!!) They always have good parking at this location and they recently got a Horchata and Cold Brew coffee dispenser. It's torchy's! What can I say?
Wow the staff at this Torchy's Tacos are top tier. They are running like a well oiled machine, churning food out on top of keeping smiles on their faces. Despite being packed on a Saturday night, they had food out within 2-3 minutes. The food was top notch! We tried the monthly special, Tokyo Drifter. The pork was well seasoned , the slaw was delicious and the crunchy wontons brought it all together. Loved the thinner flour tortillas where it wasn't off balanced. The siracha mayo complimented the taco without it being to heavy or in your face spicy. The Democrat and Republican are just two original favorites. Can't go wrong there! The only feedback and negative (which really isnt a negative on the restaurant, staff or food) is that the parking is rough for big vehicles. We had a trailer and Tahoe so we were extremely long. There was nowhere to park without going to a neighboring business/company.
I love how no matter which location you go to, the food is the SAME!!! Continuity is huge!! When you love something and order it each place you go and it tastes the same... KUTOS to the business! Not to mention the atmosphere is always vibrant and tasteful!! Love going to any location and feeling the same in each!
We usually sit at the bar and receive great service every time. The staff is friendly, and our food always comes out fresh and hot. If there's any need to switch it up or we made a mistake in ordering, they fix it in the blink of an eye. My favorite late night or after work go to.
Usually really good service. Awesome food. Went in recently about an hour before closing and nobody manning the register. The screen you can order on wasn’t allowing us to add more than one item. Had to go hunt someone down to help. Only time I have had a problem here.
I apologize, I had my mouth full and hands were holding some of the best tacos I've had in awhile. Im editing because of that situation I did not leave any words. Highly recommend stopping here if you have never been. You'll definitely come back over and over again.
You’ve got to try Torchy’s. As a native Texan, I turned up my nose at Torchy’s when I first tried them. I compared them to west coast tacos, and contrasted that with our good old fashioned, Texan tacos. But, enough friends and family loved them so much, that I kept finding myself going back. It was when I set aside my bullheadedness, and stopped comparing them to something else, that I was finally able to appreciate how good they really are. Seriously, if you haven’t tried them, or if you’re too proud like I was, then you need to go there with an open mind, and allow yourself to experience the joy that is a good taco.
Great food at a fair price. Order service a bit slow around the lunch hours, but food comes out quick. Staff is always friendly.
Breakfast tacos at Torchy’s may be one of the things Austin is best known for. This Torchy’s is spacious and has an outdoor area that has plenty of seating and a big screen TV showing ESPN. My daughter, who graduated from UT and apparently ate many tacos during her time in Austin, suggested the place, and she, of course, ate tacos. My wife and i opted for a burrito each. They were delicious. This is counter service where you stand in line to order your food and soft drinks, then there is a bar where you stand in line to order beer and wine. After paying for our food we got a disc that tells the person delivering your food where you are, so you find a table put your disc in the table and wait for your food to arrive. Which it does quite quickly. Everything tasted good, the burritos were tasty and filling and the breakfast tacos were OK, except the cheese could have been melted a little more,
We bustled through the line quickly to be greeted by a kind fellow who took our order. Our order was fulfilled accurately and deliciously. Highly recommend the chicken fajitas and the churro. Our waiter brought our food and kindly accepted my high-five. I have eaten at this establishment about a dozen times now and it always hits the spot.
Food was excellent 👌 exactly as ordered. They took our orders quickly, and got the food out shortly after we filled our drinks. The speedy service was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I love the food here, and this location even outperformed others. The chips were warm and crispy. They were so tasty with our queso and sampler dips. TVs are visible and hanging near the bar. The fast casual style is enjoyable as a couple, family, or group. Seating inside is plentiful, and you can eat outside too. It is covered and has air flow.
I recently visited Torchy's Tacos and had an amazing experience. The tacos were flavorful and creative, and the sides were delicious. The service was also outstanding, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Torchy's Tacos to anyone looking for a great meal. Here are some of the specific things that I enjoyed about my visit: The tacos were all very flavorful and creative. I especially enjoyed the Trailer Park Trash taco, which is made with fried chicken, green chiles, pico de gallo, and avocado ranch sauce. The sides were also delicious. I tried the queso and the chips, and both were excellent. The queso was creamy and flavorful, and the chips were perfectly crispy. The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were always happy to answer my questions. Overall, I had a great experience at Torchy's Tacos. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.
Visiting the Austin area from NJ and had to visit a Torchy's before we return home tomorrow. Several friends told us it was a must to try while here. They weren't wrong. We stopped in for a late dinner tonight and were blown away by the food, service and price. The tacos were some of the best we've ever had. 3 tacos, queso, salsa & chips was about $31.00. We sat at the bar and had a great conversation with the bartender Josey. Her service was perfect as was our conversation. You folks need to open locations in NJ!!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!???? Mixed reviews here? Really? Torchy's tacos are LEGENDARY....If you are in the Austin Area...there are some iconic places to visit...Kerby Lane...Chuy's...Franklin BBQ...…
I got tacos to go, so I didn't get the sit-down experience. The tacos were delicious. I got the Baja Shrimp, Brushfire, and Crossroads. The Baja Shrimp had pickled onions on it. The flavor with the shrimp was surprisingly good. The Brisket on the Crossroads was tender, and the jerk chicken on the Brushfire was amazing. And please try the Hillbilly queso and chips. Can't wait to get back to Texas to try the other tacos on the menu.
Great local taco spot. Everything food related was delicious. However the liquor drinks were tangy and honestly not worth the premium price being charged. It’ll be cheaper to make a fresh drink that tastes better. That’s what happens when quantity takes the place or quality. I would definitely stop by again.
The sign in the bathroom stalls is hilarious! I ordered the carnitas taco and trailer park taco. The carnitas are good, but nothing special. The sauce was meh. Not normally a fan of fried chicken on a taco, but the trailer park is strangely delicious. My husband ordered his trashy, but means queso and no lettuce. Personally I prefer it the regular way. Torchy's is always a good choice.
Fun place to go try if you are new to the area or visiting. Prices are a bit high if you want to eat a lot. Great for a quick bite though.
We always love the tacos here! The service is usually top-notch but with covid it is hit or miss. The new way of "ordering" at a cluttered, disorganized make-shift counter is counter-intuitive and really just bad logistics. The "real" order counter is blocked off and not being used but it should be! It would make the experience less confusing - and allow much better social distancing and covid safety adherence. Again, the food is fantastic , but ordering and service need some work! Also, please please please bring back Mr. Pink tuna tacos!!!
Went for lunch and then did great for the amount of people, I just feel like my brisket taco wasn't seasoned enough and it was tough and dry.
Just off the highway and easy in and out. Walk in and order then they deliver to your table. We wanted draft beer and didn’t know what was on tap so just ordered tacos at the counter then sat at the bar. We waited for a while to order but no one at the bar. We asked someone then someone came out. We got our beers with our tacos. Love the set up and atmosphere. Lots of taco choices. The place felt a bit dirty and a little more attention to detail would be good. Lots of crumbs on the seats and tables a bit sticky. Even still we will be back.
Service is great. Food is great but the place isn’t the cleanest… great place to bring the kids and they allow dogs. Ask for the Secret Menu!
I absolutely love this place, I eat there at least once a week if I'm able to afford it. Especially love the Trailer Park Hillbilly Style taco. However, their new limited time taco "The Tailgater" is downright awful, the flavors don't mix well and the one I got barely had any sauce. The blue cheese, instead of being complementary to the entire taco, was completely overwhelming because of the lack of sauce and the sheer amount placed on it. It looked like a very sad taco, very disappointing. Now, don't get me wrong, I love blue cheese and I understand that 9 times out of 10, the meal you get will not look like the pictures, but this taco was downright DEPRESSING. Just by first look, it was pretty bad, big piece of chicken and yet barely any slaw with too much blue cheese and no sauce. I usually love their limited time tacos and always wish they'd bring them back, but not this one. I was very disappointed by this one, I can only hope their next one is better.
TACOs!!! Very good food. I have tried almost all of them and the latest always seems to become my new favorite. This was the first trip to this location. It's big on the inside with a great covered patio area. Service is great. Bar is nice. Only downside is the smallish parking lot. Update: fish taco is very good. Going in ang trying to use rewards, not so easy.
The queso was fantastic! I enjoy the fun names of the food and tacos themselves; I ate Trailer Park (chicken), The Democrat (barbacoa), and Green Chilies pork. Ordering is done at the register and brought out to you. Other than that, self-service for the drinks. It made it a litter but harder to rate service.
Great tacos and nice ambience. Nice location and service as well. Brushfire would probably be my favorite and highly recommend trying. Mango is a great addition to it. Trailer park, Tipsy Chick and Democrat were pretty decent too. We loved the street corn as an appetizer. IG: journey_man16
Solid tacos. Awesome queso! Never had bad service here. Patio is nice n large for when the weather is nice. Think I'll go tonight.

My wife and I LOVE Torchy's, but this isn't our favorite location. The customer service wasn't bad, but we stood waiting by the drink machine for an employee to give us new cups (a new covid rule) but nobody was around so we just got refills ourselves. The queso was runny and a little grainy, which was weird. Also, the Taco of the month, the prawn star, was SUPER bland and gross (avocado and mango on shrimp?), I was pretty disappointed. The fried avocado was good as usual though!
Avoid anything with rice. So undercooked and dry, hard, it was like chewing grapenuts cereal. And not in a good crunch way. The rest of my burrito bowl was ok but since the rice was everywhere it got into everything and ruined the whole experience. Queso is good. Took 20 minutes of trying to get various servers’ attention and my husband projecting his voice drill-sergeant-style to tell anyone about it.
I’m not sure what’s happened to the quality of their food in the last year…. Still love their queso but tacos are now almost $6 and the 2 I had today were Lukewarm and fried shrimp was soggy… I think they’ve lost their quality in order to be more of a fat food vibe. always clean though Sad for me I was always a fan but 3 sub par experiences and I’m out :(
I ordered two tacos and a drink. The tacos are small but they were flavorful. I had no sides and I paid $20. I think that's too much I won't be going there again.

terrible attention, I called a few minutes ago and ask for the manager, he answer and he says that he couldn’t attend my question because he was on his lunch and then he hung up the call very contemptuously, mm ok?? and then why he answer? or maybe just saying call back at some hour🙄, TERRIBLE hospitality
Taking a road trip and stopped in at Torchy’s. Ordered two tacos on corn tortillas. Food was average. Tortillas would have been better if they didn’t feel and taste like a store bought tortilla. I mean, for more than $4 per taco, I need to have tortillas that aren’t dry and breaking when picked up. Chips and queso were good. Chips nicely salted. Atmosphere was fun and outside seating was great, too.
Expensive for what you get. Fajita steak taco has the toughest meat ever. We literally had to take it out of our taco to eat it. Jaw workout! Food doesn't taste fresh at all. The place is not that old, but it feels like it's been there for twenty years. Bathrooms are rundown for a new building. Haven't been to a Torchy's in years, and wont be EVER again.
Today before starting to cook to head out for the holiday we decided to stop in at Torchy’s for lunch- something I had been craving for a couple weeks. However due to it being 2:00PM and them closing at 3:00 I guess the kitchen gave no care at all about the food. We were brought lukewarm queso and then a republican taco where I asked for bbq on the side. Instead they put bbq on the taco and the brisket on the side but did not bring the brisket out with my food. So my husband ate the taco with bbq saying whatever and then after eating a couple bites he says to me there is no brisket on the taco! Then as we see a worker come out of the kitchen he’s walking towards us with our brisket for a taco that is half gone. Between the poor food quality and the workers going back and forth about someone not putting the trash cam in the trash box for waste to drop into I won’t be visiting again. They literally were going back and forth about who did it and how it happen then just didn’t clean it up or cover the hole is what got me. Continued to let people just throw away trash into a hole that had no trash can. Also why are yall stacking chairs at 2:00PM when you have a line of customers coming in, stables are dirt and the ones you clean you’re stacking chairs and turning the booth tables on the side. Don’t open today if you don’t care about quality
Good tacos (even though they're overpriced, small, and never the same serving size) and good queso. Horrible customer service. One day, when all the customers stop coming in, maybe they'll realize …

What a dissapointment. I waited two years to come back home and eat the amazing Torchy's tacos I remembered but they gave me "Frozty's" tacos instead. The tortillas were so cold as if they had just been pulled out of the freezer and the barbacoa's fat was already congealed. They did warn us about the 45-minute wait for food to be ready (not served cold). The chicken was burnt and the salsa was ridiculously minimal. The server was nice to make another taco and heat it up but... C'mon. We noticed another table complaining about their food and others didn't eat their food. I will give Torchy's another try at a different location before I decide whether I'd like to come back or not. Maybe popularity is causing to lose quality?
Overall terrible experience, I came in during happy hour and when I walked in I asked the cashier if the tacos were $1 off and she said yes. I did my order and went to sit down and thought to myself why was this so expensive. I go ask for my receipt and keep in mind this was about 10 mins after I ordered, the cashier who ringed me up told me I realized after that I didn’t apply your discount and I felt so bad….. WHAT!???? DONT YOU THINK TO COME TO ME AND FIX IT?? That infuriated me, and then she went to go get her manager who was extremely unpleasant to deal with and made me feel like I did something wrong for fixing my stuff. She was awful and I have no idea how she’s a manager, I will share a pic so you guys know to avoid her. Aside from all that, the chips were stale and the queso was cold. The shrimp tacos weren’t fresh at all and were gross, not what I remember. Super disappointing experience
If you want to spend $17.32 on two tacos and a drink, then leave still hungry eat here. Each time I eat at any torchy’s the same tacos vary in size. I’m sick and tired paying for $6+ tacos.
I went there the other day. Never been there since the pandemic. So I told the lady can you explain to me how big is the bowl she did hand gestures. She called it a bowl does this look like a bowl to you?. If you tell me it's a bowl why isn't it fill like a bowl. Nah I'm not going back. This is a appetizer. Then my friend ordered the fajitas taco bowl they gave him a fajita taco. So LOOK! in your bags before leaving here. They got a 3, year old making portions back there. I had just gotten off work and I was hungry.
11/11 Veterans Day My husband just went to this location for his free Veterans Day meal he does not have a physical ID but he has his DD214 which shows his separation from the military. He was rudely told he needed a physical ID and could not use his paper. He was able to use that same paper at Freddy’s but not here. I don’t think this is the way Our Veterans should be treated.
I love this place but went here tonight with my wife. Needless to say I was served our first beers while waiting for our order….twenty minutes later the bartender that took our order asked us if we wanted to order…??? After explaining to the blank face that we had already ordered, he snapped back to reality for a second and said oh yeah and remembered the order, then proceeded to write it down on the back of the receipt after apologizing. Was told my order would be expedited…..twenty five minutes later…..asked if we wanted to order….I can’t make this up😂🤷♂️! Then said..”oh yeah, It didn’t go through what was your order again”.!! NEEDLESS TO SAY I EXPECTED WAY BETTER SERVICE ON A SUNDAY TAKING MY WIFE TO A PLACE WE CAME TO ACTUALLY ENJOY AND FREQUENTED WHILE HERE IN TEXAS….Update I got offered four free tacos, Atleast they wanna make it right, Not sufficient and probably won’t ever go back to this location again. TORCHYS AUSTIN HERE I COME
Downloaded the app and it gave me a free order of queso with $1 purchase. I ordered a meal but it would not let me add the queso, so I figured I would get it upon arrival as Mgt and staff have always been really nice/helpful. The person at delivery pick up indicated this freebie never works on the app and to go to the cashier and they would take care of it. However, the cashier wanted another $1 for the queso but I tried to explain to him that I had already paid for a meal, etc. The kid wouldn't budge, so I left without the queso. Done with this location.
