I was recommended this restaurant by a friend, so I decided to try it with my family and it did not disappoint. The spicy vodka rigatoni was one of the best I’ve ever had and the porterhouse steak was cooked perfectly. Not to mention the service which was incredible. I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend!!
Decided to come here for my anniversary with my wife. The top floor was definitely more romantic. It was night so the view wasn’t much to look at. The service was very good, the food was super amazing and the tiramisu is absolutely to die for. We will return here for a lunch for the views, nice area even the hostess was very pleasant and accommodating. Overall, it was a great experience definitely worth another trip.
Delicious meals made with great ingredients that tasted like they were cooked with care and from scratch. We went as part of a large party in the upper private dining room that was gorgeous in its own right, but still had a little extra seasonal flare for winter decor. A fantastic spot to see the sunset if you get the opportunity. The staff were excellent and worked well together to keep glasses full and delivered hot meals for a party of 15 at the same time so everyone got to eat together. Not a small feat. The food itself was great with beautiful presentation as well as flavor. While we ate off a slightly different menu for our party, I could see where it had been pulled or adapted from the main menu. Definitely a place where you will want to order an appetizer and a dessert for a fulfilling meal experience. If I find myself hungry in Rye and looking for a unique spot that delivers on food, service, and atmosphere, this is the place.
We had a very lovely dinner at Ora. We did not have a reservation but they were happy to accommodate our group. Beautiful restaurant and the staff was extremely attentive. The price was fair for the quality of the food and beverages. We will definitely go again when I am in the area.
Had a wonderful lunch at this Italian steakhouse, the ambiance was elegant and inviting, and the staff greeted us with such warmth. It’s the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a great meal. The octopus was delicious, just a bit on the tender side, while the seafood and steak were exceptional in both flavor and presentation.
I can’t speak highly enough about Ora. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere was perfect. The food and drinks were outstanding and exceeded my expectations. 10/10
From start to finish, everything was top-notch. We started with the burrata and tuna tartare—both were incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. For our main, we shared the porterhouse for two, which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Our server, Johnny, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and professional without ever being overbearing. He even surprised us with two complimentary sides, the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, both of which were amazing. The blonde hostess was so sweet, beautiful, and accommodating—she made us feel welcome the second we walked in. The presentation of every dish was elegant, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was vibrant yet relaxed—perfect for a special night out. I would 100% recommend Ora to anyone looking for a great meal, wonderful service, and an incredible atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
Always an amazing time at Ora. The service is great and the food does not disappoint. The porterhouse for three was unreal along with everything else they serve. Definitely a must try and I will continue to go back!
Hot peppers were great. Wedge salad was very good with excellent blue cheese and thick cut bacon. Steak was cooked and seasoned well . Very nice experience. Would recommend for a good steak night
Amazing Christmas menu. The people were so nice. The servers are amazing. It is fine dining too. It’s finest.!
Delicious sizzling bacon and homemade tiramisu. The restaurant boasts an aesthetically pleasing ambiance and a welcoming staff.
Unreal experience, service exceptional, Food was thoughtfully seasoned and plated, drinks were on point, the wine menu was a wine drinkers dream with older vintages and a wide selection from every region, highly recommend visiting Ora, if you are sitting at the Bar and get Rolland, he is wonderful!
we had dinner last night at Ora the food was so delicious the staff was so welcoming and professional we tried so much different food cause everything was amazing definitely going back the octopus and porterhouse is a must try
This place is absolutely amazing and the food was out of this world. We just went for my birthday on a weekday. The staff was extremely nice, very professional all very attentive to everything, the ambience is beautiful. Every single dish we was delicious and plated beautifully. Definitely worth checking out and will most definitely be back!
Valentine’s day was a hit at Ora Steakhouse!! From top to bottom everything was splendid. The place was definitely busy but handled very good. Can’t wait to come back!
Ora was super busy tonight, but the experience was still amazing! Even with a full house, everything ran so smoothly thanks to the incredible team. The bartenders were awesome —friendly, quick, and made some of the best drinks I’ve had in a while. The hostess was sweet and welcoming, and the manager went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. You can tell they truly care about their guests. The food was outstanding as always, and the atmosphere was fun and lively without feeling chaotic. Such a great night — can’t wait to come back!
We had such a great Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was amazing!! Nick was our waiter and he was awesome — super friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!
Just had a wonderful steak dinner at Ora. The service was exceptional, the vibe was upscale, classy and comfortable. The steak was cooked to perfection, sides were delicious and the chocolate mousse was rich and decadent. Bonus tip: the family at a nearby table said this was there second visit in just a few days. I was surprised to learn they've only been open 5 weeks. Definitely had the feel they've been there for a long time. Fantastic experience; highly recommend.
Ora is an absolute gem! The moment I walked in, I was impressed by the gorgeous atmosphere , elegant yet fun and inviting. The food was phenomenal, every bite was packed with flavor, and you can tell they use top-quality ingredients. The service was amazing too; everyone was so friendly and upbeat, and the hostess set the tone with her kindness and energy. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the vibe and the food, but Ora truly does. Can’t recommend it enough!
Our new favorite restaurant. We went on Friday with friends and loved it so much we went back tonight (Sunday)with our daughters. First of all the food is incredible. The attention to detail is present on each delicious dish. But, what truly blew us away was the level of service. Every single person who took care of us on both nights went above and beyond. They ALL take pride in what they are doing. Their attention puts this restaurant on another level. Rye is so lucky to have this in our town. The Chiaravalle Family
Ora serves inventive, wood‑fired Italian and contemporary dishes in a stylish, lively setting with standout small plates, pizzas, pastas and hearty entrées that highlight seasonal ingredients. Many guests enjoy the creative flavors and atmosphere, though prices and service experiences can vary by night.
A first-class dining experience. The steak was exquisite, the wine pairing was spot-on, and the service was impeccable. Every detail—from presentation to ambiance—was flawless. Highly recommended for a special night out.
Had an amazing meal here with some friends. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was top-notch. Big thanks to our server, Tim, who was friendly, attentive, and made our visit even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!
I had an absolutely beautiful Valentines day at Ora. My 1st time there. It was a very busy night but I felt the staff managed it very well atmosphere is amazing!
Came here for a girls Christmas lunch and was not disappointed. The food was amazing. We were all happy with everything we ordered. It was decorated super cute for Christmas. We will absolutely be back!
My husband and I visited Ora last night and we were absolutely thrilled!! The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and full of good energy! The music, food and drinks were all outstanding! Service was great, not to mention the owner’s Francesk and Leon were such a delight and very welcoming!! Absolutely recommend to anyone and looking forward to going back again very soon!
We went for our wedding anniversary. The ambiance, food, service, and location was wonderful. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for an anniversary to remember!
Had dinner here and everything was excellent. The food was amazing from appetizers to steak and seafood. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and the new renovation looks beautiful, great ambiance. Definitely worth visiting!
Was there on Sunday and seriously one of the best steaks I’ve had in long time super impressed, will definitely go back. The ribeye, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, truffle mushrooms delicious …
My special uncle and I dined at this new restaurant and our amazing food was to die for. Dover sole and spicy rigatoni was mouth watering. the garlic potatoes along with the mesculin salad and broccolini was Laura’s meal. Uncle eddie had the spicy rigatoni and the lobster bisque soup. Thank you to the amazing staff and wishing you good luck at Ora.
We went to Ora Steakhouse for Valentine’s Day and had a genuinely wonderful experience. They were offering a prix fixe menu for the evening, and you could tell a lot of thought went into it. Every course felt intentional and well executed, not rushed or generic despite how busy the night was. We started with the burrata and bacon appetizers both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. For our main, we shared the porterhouse for two, and it was cooked perfectly to temperature with a great sear and tenderness. It’s not always easy to nail a large cut like that, especially on a packed holiday service, but they absolutely did. The restaurant was very full, yet the staff never made us feel hurried. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and they managed the Valentine’s crowd with professionalism and warmth. After dinner, we stayed for drinks at the bar, and the bartender was kind and easy to talk to, and her drinks were delicious! It was clear the team was working hard that night, and they still delivered a memorable experience. We left feeling well taken care of and already looking forward to coming back.
The staff was young, energetic, and full of charisma, creating a vibrant yet professional atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was completely packed for Valentine’s Day, it still felt romantic, intimate, and perfect for a special night out with my wife. What truly stood out, however, was the valet service. The parking lot was extremely small, yet the valet somehow managed what must have been 70–80 cars with incredible efficiency and professionalism. When we were leaving, he went above and beyond by leaning over and opening my wife’s door, closing mine, and then ran around to close her door. That level of service is rare. I initially handed him a $10 tip, but after seeing that kind of professionalism, I had to pull it back and give him a Ulysses Grant instead. Completely deserved! Outstanding experience from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special night out.
Went there for my birthday dinner & everything was fabulous. We shared a Caesar salad, sea bass, bone in ribeye & Brussels sprouts. The servers served/plated the food we shared at the table making us feel like royalty! They accommodated an allergy with ease. My dessert was brought with a candle for the special occasion. Highly recommend for a special occasion or if you desire great food. Worth the price.
My husband and I came to Ora for dinner on Valentine’s Day and had an amazing time!! The place was beautifully decorated and very busy. We had drinks at the bar while waiting for our table which didn’t take too long and the bartender was very sweet, she made the best cosmopolitan I’ve ever had! The food was delicious and our server Johnny was a delight! We definitely will be returning!
I celebrated my birthday at Ora this past Saturday night, and I was truly blown away. The food was outstanding—every dish was cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch, and the drinks were exactly what you’d hope for and more. I can’t recommend Ora enough—it’s an absolute must-try!
Lovely owners and wait staff at this incredibly delicious steak house! Rib eye cooked and spiced to perfection. They gave us a complimentary Mac and cheese that was mind bending! Best crème brûlée for dessert. Great eating experience!
Had an awesome night here at Ora on my 15th wedding anniversary! Was welcomed so warmly by the beautiful hostess with a great smile. It was very busy and running a little behind on our reservation but the hostess was nothing but helpful, kind, and assuring. We hung out at the bar for a little, the bartender was great, fabulous drinks. We were brought to our table and had the tastiest dinner with EXCELLENT service. Definitely would recommend! 10/10! Thank you to the staff for an incredible night!
Whether it’s a date night, anniversary, or just a night to treat someone special, this steakhouse delivers on every level!! Unmatched atmosphere, service, and amazing food. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great steak and a truly romantic dining experience.
I had such an amazing experience at Ora. Everything was perfectly cooked and you can really tell they care about the quality of their food. The atmosphere felt warm and comfortable, and the service was so friendly and attentive. It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Can’t wait to return!!
Glad to see this spot open and offering a good option for local and Westchester residents. The environment is beautiful, the food was excellent and the staff attentive. They need to work on the acoustics as the noise level was extremely high making conversations difficult- seemed everyone upped their volumes to compensate and it spiraled into chaos. The table lights are positioned in a way that it blocks your view of your table mates. Everyone was trying to reposition them. They have a few kinks to work out. We enjoyed the awesome Dover Sole, the amazing Chicken Parm and a Ribeye steak for 2. The dessert was good although a “lava” cake was cooked through with no “lava”. I’m sure they will figure out the noise and be a great destination.
Well, overrated is the word that comes to mind. Ate here on Saturday evening and the place was crazy loud. Service was both slow and imprecise. Couses did not come out in the order requested and we were provided hot plates for salads. The Caesar salad, a steakhouse staple, was somewhere between mediocre and ordinary. In general, the food was well prepared, but not remarkably tasty. The wine list is insanely expensive and for a 2 ounce pour of Clase Azul mezcal, we were charged $95. Valet parking was also a mess with only one attendant in evidence. I recommend eating in Frankie and Johnnies instead.
The quality does not reflect the price. Oysters and Clams were completely mangled. Surprised the chef allowed our seafood tower to leave the kitchen. Prawns and Crab were off as well. Espresso served in a coffee cup? My guest from out of town left very disappointed.
I really wanted this place to be amazing but unfortunately the food was just not great at all. Vongole with linguine was not vongole clams it was regular clams with box linguine and 2 cherry tomatoes sliced in half...the shrimp app tasted like they were past date. The lobster pasta was good but for $46 not worth it. The real issue here was the price. The food doesn't match the price. Hope it gets better. I will say the wine was good.
The food was absolutely amazing, the service was incredible. But the acoustics were terrible. There were so many people and so little space for their voices. I could barely hear the people at my table, and my ears were ringing afterwards.
Not a great experience. They messed up our reservation, but eventually got us a table. Music was incredibly loud. A lousy bread was served to start, they’d better serve nothing at all. Onion soup was good. Tagliatelle was ok. Good service, although the waiter was a bit pushy on drinks. I expect a lot more for $200 for 2 people.
Valentines Day at Ora was chaotic, stressful, and just overall one of the worst dining experiences I have had. Those 2 positive reviews left about valentines don’t even seem real. Every single customer I spoke to at the restaurant were disappointed, waited hours for their food, some even walking out Owners seem greedy and like they’re trying hard to recover from this. Maybe they should just do better next time and not ruin peoples Valentine’s Day.
I’ve been here before and it was good. Unfortunately they really messed up Valentine’s Day. They crammed so many small tables trying to fit as many customers as possible. They had way more customers than they could handle. The poor staff was running around like crazy, there was no organization. We had like 7 waiters. They forgot to put in our order for the first 40 minutes. We didn’t get our entrees until 2 hours later. They forgot my sides but still put it on the bill. And their to-go cheesecake part of the pre-fixe menu was small, plain. I didn’t feel the pre fixe menu was worth the $125 price tag along with the poor service. Multiple unhappy customers waiting 2+ hours for their food. It’s crazy for the $125 pp price they were charging. Great restaurant on a regular day. I hope they learn from this for next Valentine’s Day. Just keep the amount of regular tables you have!! Don’t triple the amount with tiny tables!! That was a stupid idea!
This was my second time coming to Ora and boy was it a disaster. My experience seemed like it came right out of a kitchen nightmare episode. Let me paint the scene: my wife and I arrive to Ora at 7:30 and find out that it was Valet parking only….cool no problem, except there was only 1 guy doing the parking. There was a line of atleast 10 cars leading into the busy road. We finally get seated at 7:45 and are able to order our appetizers and entrees. At 8:20 our waiter comes back and asks us what we ordered. So, for 40 minutes we pointlessly waited. At 8:45, we finally received our appetizers, which were the burrata and creamed spinach. At 9:43, nearly 2 hours after ordering, our entrees finally arrive, without the sides that we ordered. We decide to ask for our dessert to go and the check. We finally leave at 10:15. I want to point out that the employees were very friendly, but absolutely drowning in work. There was no structure, no management, no facilitation of resources, and absolute chaos on the floor. Multiple people left due to long wait times. I attribute this chaos to the greed of the owners, attempting to shove countless customers into a small space wasting our time. I will never come back to Ora and highly recommend other establishments who will not disrespect their customers with absurd wait times.
My wife and I wanted to have a small Valentine’s Day lunch because we had early dinner plans. We specifically made a standard reservation (open table gave two options one had the 3 course prix fix) . We were one of only two tables at the restaurant so they were not busy. They refused to offer anything but their three course lunch despite us showing them that the reservation offered both options. What’s worse is the manager came and was rather cold and indifferent and did not own their mistake or take any responsibility. They said they can’t control Open Table. Not quite sure why they wouldn’t at least offer us to have a smaller lunch from their menu since there was barely anyone else there. If they can’t honor their Open Table reservations then they should not use that App for reservations. It’s that simple. Or at least show a little grace or a sense of welcome to your customers. Last visit to this place. Plenty of other great places in town
Absolutely horrendous experience on Valentine’s Day. Everyone was packed in like sardines. I was constantly hunched over the entire time, so the waiter could tend to the table next to us. What’s ironic is he never tended to us! We saw him twice during our dinner. We sat there for 25 mins after they cleared our table, nobody came to even take our dessert order which was part of the prefix. Didn’t even wind up taking the dessert as we were pressed on time. The waiter did offer us dessert and drinks on the house, which we didn’t take. I expected for them to knock a little off the bill, since I told him we couldn’t stay any longer for dessert. NOPE! The 6 minute pieces of meat that the tbone yielded was good, but was really fatty. I’m a big steak guy and it had about 60% of the meat off the bone. The rest was probably on someone else’s plate or a nice snack for a line cook. The mashed potatoes were cut with instant. The parking lot was a jammed mess to the point where the police came. This wasn’t a fine dining experience, this was lipstick on a pig. Does not meet the Rye standard for fine dining establishments. Will stick to Benjamin’s from now on. I give the place a year tops.
