Recensioni di Mas Taco Bar Sacramento
Service was super fast, and the food was really good. If you’re here to actually enjoy the food and not just stuff your stomach , you’ll love it. I recommend the salmon and pork tacos — so good!
Came on a Saturday night for late night tacos ($3 each, $6 margaritas) and got seated immediately. Food was amazing and came out super quick. Great service love this place. Recommend short rib & Korean fried chicken tacos 🌮
Stoped in on a whim. Really happy! Street tacos a la carte so you can try a few of the amazing varieties. I had braised beef and drunken chicken with a house red sangria (secret ingredient is cinnamon). SO had "secret taco" (secret ingredient is lobster!!!!) and a drunken chicken. We also shared the habenero fire ball appy. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Tasted like it was cooked hours in the kitchen. Their street tacos have Indian, Vietnamese, Thai, oyster, Korean, cauliflower, steak and egg...too many to list. You MUST try this place!! Sit at the bar and Chris will take great care of you.
Crispy shrimp tacos are a standout for me. Margaritas are always on point as well.
Just to be clear, we did not go for the food nor for their tacos. We only went for the drinks. We got two drinks. One was the dragon something Mojito that was pretty good a little bit on the sweet side. And the one that I really liked was the Horchata espresso martini, but with tequila.
Came in with my son on a Friday night and had a wonderful time. I had the pork belly bowl and birria tacos which were both great. The service was wonderful. Zephyr was my server and he was awesome. I was greeted by Jenasis, who was really awesome also. Will come back again.
Awesome place for fusion tacos! One of my go to’s in Sacramento when I’m looking for a variety of tacos. My favorites are the beer battered, Al Pastor and the Vietnamese Pork. They are so delicious! They also have a wide variety of tequilas to sip on as well as an awesome happy hour. Definitely will be back for more!
Everyone loves tacos, and if you don't you should check out Mas Taco because there's a taco for everyone to enjoy with their unique approach and flavors. They have flavors from traditional Mexican meats like Carne asada and adobada, to bahn mi and Korean tacos, Indian butter chicken tacos and even some other veggie options. The great thing is you could also try multiple flavors and not break the bank. We also love mas taco for breakfast on the weekends! The chilaquiles are delicious and my wife usually goes for the pupusa which is also great. There isn't usually a long wait (if any) and food comes out pretty quick. Overall great food and service.
Instead of waiting for an hour and half for a table at the Iron Horse come here. Their pork belly, steak & egg and beef tacos are to die for. They have the same bottomless mimosas and a great breakfast pupusas. I have eaten here 4 times and ordered at least 10 items off the menu. They have not disappointed me yet.
Cute little spot. My friends kept pos5about the tacos here and I finally had a chance to stop in, and at happy hour! Bonus. The Baja taco was really good and I feel good portion of salmon for the cost! Will definitely be back. Not a fan of the ceviche it was very fresh, I guess I'm more a fan of spicy & lemony 😊
This is one of my favorite places now. This was my first time at this location, and the service is the same as the other, quick and friendly! I must say, their Mas Fries were better at this location.. ..I tried a bunch of tacos! Carne Asada, Thai Beef, Fried Oyster, Korean Beef, Pork Belly and the Drunken Chicken. ... my favorites, Thai Beef and the Takis Taco, which was the Secret Taco. I ordered the peach ring margarita with Don Julio, and it was as good as I remembered! I highly recommend and can't wait to go back!
Margarita Mondays are a great time to stop by, I'm partial to the Peach and Guava Marg, or the Watermelon Basil. The secret taco varies but this time it was the Takis Taco and it was wildly good. Also the Ceasar salad was beyond expectation. We sat outside on a sunny day at some picnic tables.
This was my first time trying Mas Taco and I enjoyed the environment and the food. Our server was very nice and patient while we figured out what we wanted! Here’s my recommendation! The drunken chicken I absolutely demolished. Next would be the bartered fish. 9/10. I enjoyed the birria as well. I didn’t enjoy the secret taco, it ended up having nuts in it which just wasn’t my taste. I personally didn’t enjoy the braised short rib and the soft tortilla that comes with banh mi shrimp. I think with a normal corn tortilla it would’ve been better for me. We also got pork belly bowl which was delicious and a strawberry margarita. Overall I had a really pleasant experience and will definitely come again!
This was my first time eating here, and I must say it lived up to the hype! The taco selection is extensive, the wait staff friendly, and Covid protocols in place. We had the al pastor, Vietnamese pork, duck confit, and the secret taco (birria). Before tacos we had guac and chips (kind of expensive but worth it), andafter tacos finished our meal with key lime pie (a little too sweet so plan on sharing). All in all the food and atmosphere are on point and well worth your time if you're in the area or just craving tacos.
Loved all the food we ordered. They do it a family style a la carte & have a diverse fusion menu. They had some vegan options too. It was our first time and we got the Indian style taco, Korean chicken taco, Secret taco, Impossible asada taco, and Mushroom taco, plus a horchata cold brew. Flavors were on point, chicken and meat quality was great, everything was cooked perfectly. Really liked their horchata cold brew, a must try. They have a great bar and restaurant atmosphere. Service was good. Definitely coming back.
Delicious selections, new taste options and fast and friendly service! Don't miss the MAS fries with steak, guacamole, cheese, onions and red peppers and the grilled corn on the cob with a savory spread both on on the appetizer menu...oh my! Also on the appetizer menu, you should try the chips and salsa, such a fun take on that traditional staple! Soooo yummy. My favorite taco was the steak and egg, such a great combination and super delicious!! Can't wait to go again!
Went here on a Saturday evening with friends and had a great time. Our waiter, Keegan was attentive and welcoming. We ordered guacamole and several tacos. I tried different tacos: al pastor, butter chicken on naan, and steak and egg. Not only were they unique, but they were delicious! The restaurant took precautions by ensuring social distance between tables. Definitely a cool place to chill with friends while enjoying great food!
Great food, great service, atmosphere is more of a club that serves food than a restaurant with a bar. They had a DJ that was playing various music types. Food was great.
Located right across from Ace Of Spades you can find some pre-show tacos. Taco Tuesday? How about every day is taco day! I got a flight and as busy as they were we got served fairly quickly and the tacos were great. They have all kinds, I got a flight of three and it was perfection. This is our go-to for before a night on the town.
What a fun spot in Sacramento! Came with a friend, since this is one of her go-to spots to eat/drink at, and it definitely did not disappoint! We were able to grab seats at the bar relatively quickly. Came around 1PM ish for a late brunch. We ordered quite a bit of food. Chips and guacamole: full large circle tortillas. Perfectly crispy, with a delicious guac! Steak burrito: super filling burrito. Definitely satisfied my taste buds. Soft corn polenta: underrated! Awesome combination with some perfectly cooked eggs. Baja fish taco: flavors were there. Only downside, the fish portion was a lot smaller than I was expecting. Brunch (11-3 on weekends) is great too, since they offer bottomless mimosas for $13.50! You can definitely have a great time here! The combination of décor, food, service, and TVs...you can always expect a good time at Mas Taco! HUGE shoutout to our servers Kerry and Brendan at the bar! They made sure to continually check in to see how we were doing and were extremely thoughtful. Parking can be a bit difficult. Street parking available, and I believe there is a lot close by where you can park at. Can't wait to be back! Definitely want to be here for a big game! Follow the adventure @shoyuthebest on IG!
Food was great here with lots of tacos to choose from, service was excellent and surprise they know how to staff correctly and not close down the kitchen between brunch and lunch. Came here after being turned away at two other places for bad staffing. I am really glad they did. We ate way too much but it was so good!
Outstanding experience. We sat at the bar and Kerry assisted us. She was so personable and friendly. Explained the menu and made great suggestions. The food was delicious and we would definitely go back. Kerry, thank you!!
Dec 2024: The tacos were not traditionally made, but I enjoyed the creative fusion of different add-ons that made them unique. The fries were quite delicious and definitely a highlight. The Michelada, however, was a bit too intense for my taste, with its spiciness and bitterness being slightly overpowering. Overall, I wouldn’t mind coming back to explore more of the menu and try different items!
Mas Taco Bar is a great spot with a unique and interesting taco selection. Each taco is around $4 and, while they’re on the smaller side, they’re packed with flavor—8 tacos were the perfect amount for me. The covered outdoor seating is ideal if you’re bringing kids along, and the restaurant has clean restrooms. Our waitress was wonderful, especially with the kids, helping them navigate their orders with patience and friendliness, which I really appreciated. There’s a good selection for kids too, with quesadillas, guac, chips, and fries. Highly recommend, especially if you’re dining with family!
Mas Taco is definitely underrated, probably because there are so many really great food spots on R street already, but that's part of what makes this place great. They have delicious yet affordable tacos (and burrito bowls), also great for brunch and they're almost never crowded. If you're looking for somewhere with plenty of room at the bar or some nice outdoor seating with great tacos and cocktails, come here for sure 👌🏽
If there is one day out of the week where you don’t have to think about what to eat for dinner it is Taco Tuesday at Mas Taco Bar. They have an extensive taco selection that you will want to keep coming back for. I started at the bar for the delicious adult beverages while I waited to be seated. Their staff are well trained, friendly and attentive. I’ve tried all of their tacos over the years and yes even their secret tacos, and you just can’t pick one favorite. Had the shrimp banh mi, steak & eggs, pork belly, al pastor & battered fish & fried oyster tacos. All were super delicious! Clean place and well maintained and so were the restrooms. The vibe is enjoyable and inviting. Six stars every time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ iykyk 🫶🏼
Amazing food experience. They have a creative take on Asian-Latino fusion. Their dishes in general are very well thought out, with nicely balanced flavors, and good execution. Their tacos are creative and adventurous. Our favorites for the night are the pork belly, braised beef, banh mi. Their Korean chicken was tasty but I think missed the mark a little on what Korean fried chicken is. I think they need to revisit the fried chicken recipe and sauce flavor. Their butter chicken tasted like butter chicken no doubt about it. But It didn't stand out as amazing. It's just butter chicken lol. Their Birria Ramen was off the hook! In this case the well flavor Birria makes or breaks the entire dish. This one was very well seasoned and balanced. I initially though it was a little salty. But when eaten with the ramen the dish balances out fantastically. Guacamole is a nice appetizer and pallet cleanser. Guac is fresh, creamy, and again nicely balanced. Not to much acid or salt. The grated cheese also compliments the guac nicely. Drinks!!! 🍹🍹🍸🍸 Drinks are amazing. Dragon berry mojito was light and refreshing. Guava peach margarita was the winner of the night. Guava and peach showcases the alcohol and not overpowering it. They use sugar on the rim which I think doesn't really do a whole lot for the drink. It's just extra sweetness. I think they could of chosen something that enhances or compliments the drink. Service was good. Our first server was replaced and get replacement greeted our table promptly. She was helpful, attentive, and had great recommendations. At the end she got busy with a giant table. We were left waiting for about 10 minutes as they were being checked out. That's understandable I understand how hard being a server is. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
Lots of unique types of tacos to choose from! Everything we got was super tasty, so you can't go wrong. This place has a super hip vibe to boot, so you'll have a great time. Good for groups as well, although it's a little loud inside. Only challenge is getting in - put yourself on the yelp wait list before arriving!
Appetizers, tacos, drinks & desserts were all declious 👍🏽 can't pick a favorite cuz they all tasted great! Food came out quickly. Lively atmosphere. Nice place to get dressed up a little bit and have a date night or girls night. Indoor and outdoor seating. Service was great. They checked on us regularly even though they we busy.
Review a year later: The atmosphere and drink options is what shines for this place. There's also really interesting tacos but some of them are really mediocre. I would reccomend the fried oyster taco and the Tika masala one. I would skip the duck one (has a weird overly sweet taste) and battered fish is kinda mediocre. Their secret taco is always fun though. Old review: Good service. Interesting fun tacos.
Whether your taste in tacos runs to carnivorous or decidedly more vegetarian, Mas Taco has you covered. Their offerings run the gamut from braised short rib and red curry shrimp to roasted cauliflower and butternut squash. Each street-style taco runs 3.00-3.75. These guys do brunch, and have starters, desserts and a few things that aren't tacos. If you wish to get your drink on, they feature perfectly respectable beer and mixed drink selections with a heavy weight on margaritas. You can sit at the bar OR grab a table inside or outside, weather permitting. Service is friendly, with staff willing to give recommendations if you're not sure what sounds the best. (My personal favorites were the red curry shrimp taco, which is amazing, butternut squash taco, and the pork al pastor, which carries a lovely Carribean influence) This is a really good place to get your street taco fix at comparitively decent prices to some of the pricier alternatives and is definitely worth checking out if you are one of us that knows tacos are life.
Amazing food and great atmosphere! It’s nice you can order any taco and buy them each to create your own plate. This allows you to try what they have as well as just order 1 or 2 if you aren’t that hungry. Even better when you want just one more. Serve was great and not much of a wait on a Saturday lunch hour. Outdoor seating available too. Recommend and definitely will go back often.
Great atmosphere. The tacos were decent but I wish they were more flavorful.
Not your typical taco joint. Stuck with tacos for our first visit. The steak and egg taco was my favorite. The secret (shrimp) taco was a close 2nd. The menu includes bowls as well as a number of meat and veggie taco filling. I wish they put more thought in the tortillas. They were basic corn, that were fairly tasteless. They were busy when we got there, and were told 30 minute wait, and hour later we were seated. IMO, this place is good, but not worth an hour wait.
First the service here was excellent we were seated quickly and they came for drinks fast. We went during happy hour so I ordered there monthly margarita special which was amazing! We each ordered three different tacos and I ordered the secret Taco as well. Some of the tacos we really liked and others we felt like we wouldn't order next time. But the bill came out to less than we normally spend and the atmosphere was great. We would definitely come again for happy hour and leave full.
Food amazing! Drinks nice and strong. Our waiter forgot about us, we waited over 10 min for our bill. Other than that we were satisfied. Great ambience as well. I seen reviews for lack of flavor. Either there is a new chef, new recipes. Or they do right by happy hour. I ordered the drunk chicken taco. Friend ordered duck taco. Both of us were pleased with flavor. Service was actually our hiccup.
If you like to adventure with your tacos and like a bit of diversity in the flavors, this place is the spot!! The combinations of tacos they mash up are insane like banh mi, pork belly, butter chicken, tuna! And the cocktails are also delicious. I wish they were a bit stronger but it made them super delicious. My absolute favorite taco of all was the pork belly that was a close tie with the banh mi taco. The meat was so tender and flavorful, it was literally dripping down my arm. I loved that they matched the taco bread with the dish like the banh mi was in a softer bread and the tuna was in a lettuce wrap and the butter chicken taco was in a naan bread. They also have exciting new tacos all the time to try, and my personal favorite the “secret taco”. The “secret” taco is a daily rotating taco that has new flavors the chef decided to put together. You don’t know what it is when you order, so it’s a fun gamble. Also there’s chips and salsa come out in tortas not tortilla chips which was different but both salsas were yummy. I’m only not giving it a 5 because the day I took my friend with me here, it was a hot sacramento summer day & their AC broke. We were literally sweating throughout our entire meal it was so hot.
Great dining and social experience. Atmosphere is great; servers are always pleasant and engaging and the food and drinks have never disappointed.
Went here for lunch on a weekday. We started with the chips and guacamole, which were very good! I ordered the Caesar salad and August special taco. The taco was very tasty, but I’m not sure it’s worth $5+. The salad was decent… nothing special. Could have used more dressing! The atmosphere was okay. We sat in the enclosed patio area. Our table didn’t have the salsas, though, so we didn’t think of trying them till we saw them on another table, but at that point, we were on the last couple bites of our meal. Overall, there are too many interesting spots to try nearby that I don’t think I’d necessarily go back here soon.
Mas Taco Bar delivers fusion-forward nibbles along Sacramento’s historic R Street corridor—and it does not play by the rules. It’s complicated. Don’t let the word “taco” in the name fool you. Sure, Mas Taco will scratch that Mexican food itch, but they also sling creations inspired by everything from banh mi to butter chicken. Taco passport, anyone? ✈️🌮 From traditional starters to street food faves like grilled corn, to “burrito” bowls (the word burrito is on silent mode), to churro waffles—yes, churro waffles—Mas Taco’s got you covered from breakfast to dinner. The Potato Taco? A hearty taco , loaded with avo, roasted poblanos, fresno garlic oil, and all the cilantro. And while I’m not usually a fake meat kinda vegetarian, the Impossible Asada? Plant-based perfection. I’d swipe right again and again. 💚 The tacos can run a bit on the small side for $4 but they are delicious and worth it. Their drink menu? Always serving. But real talk—no margarita pitchers? A true crime. The Margaritas Gigantes try their best to compensate, but it’s just not the same. #sorrynotsorry Service is friendly and chill, but when it gets busy (and it will), expect a little delay. With neighbors like Ace of Spades, timing your visit is key. The vibe is vibrant, modern, and built for groups—inside or out. Parking, however? A mild nightmare. Bring patience, coins, or a rideshare app. How I break down my ⭐️ reviews: 1 - Not if it was the last thing on DoorDash. 🗑️ 2 - Meh. Maybe if I’m close, and high. 😬 3 - Mid. Not texting the group chat about it. 🤷♀️ 4 - Hella solid. Planning my next visit. 😋 5 - Shut up! Take my money. Om Nom Nom. 🔥
I've tried the one in Fair oaks absolutely no good but I will say that the one in downtown Sacramento is phenomenal. Service was impeccable we put an order in for tacos & 2 minutes they were at our table. Not the best pozole but definitely not the worst. And the Churro Sunday was phenomenal I was not expecting that at all it was really good. It's very loud in this restaurant but why not everybody's having a good time.
Good place to get a bite and a drink. Good atmosphere and nice staff. I had the pozole which I had been craving, it was not the best but it wasn’t bad. My favorite taco was the braised short rib taco. The al pastor was okay, good flavor but didn’t really taste like al pastor. Overall good flavor and good drinks.
I use to love this place! I ordered the habenero balls, which are always so yummy. The mango purée sauce is the best. Reason why I’m giving it three stars is because right after eating 2 people including myself we got really bad stomach pains and shortly after got diarrhea, we had the birria tacos. Our waitress wasn’t very welcoming, it almost felt rushed when it was time to leave, which the place was pretty empty to begin with!
Food was pretty good. However, you will automatically lose at least one star from my rating if you charge for things that are traditionally free at similar establishments. They charge $4.50 for chips and salsa here even if you are ordering off the menu and having drinks.
Expensive for the portions- 5$ for a single street taco and 12$ for a margarita served in a scotch glass. Slow service time. When our tacos came the server was unsure of what meat each taco had which was unfortunate as i ordered the impossible meat taco. Hopefully they can figure out a better system.
Love this Place! However i went there on labor day and discovered they took the best tacos off the menu. I was super Sad.🙁😒
Call ahead because there may be a long wait to get a table here. Good food & good service. The bar could use some adjustments with mixed drinks. Margarita was super weak. Not much flavor either. Mojito tasted nothing like one. There were a few others with our table of 10 who didn't care for their drinks. The bartender did remake two of our drinks when I walked up there to ask & dropped off the drinks we didn't care for. His response was "I guess". Not quite a friendly response. Note, I returned the drinks we didn't like. I'm am honest person & refuse to pay for something I don't like. Also, note that the drinks we had replaced cost less than what we originally ordered. One could argue for a refund but we didn't do that. The margarita he replaced was not great either. The food made up for it & came out quick. Their ordering system on a piece of paper works well. Especially for a large group. We all received separate bills due to the way we ordered. Kudos to that.
Food was good, 3 tacos came out cold and the last one was warm. Service is okay, multiple servers went on their phone while we waited for the check and everyone seemed upset to be working. Energy was very low. Hopefully today was just an off day for them. Also no more happy hour! Which is why I originally went. Sad
I’ve been to the Mas Taco Bar twice and the food is decent, brunch would be my favorite compared to lunch. For the price of one taco it’s doable, the coffees are the best part. The service is okay both times we were forgotten about and there isn’t too many servers available. The seating outside feels great when it’s not too hot out.
Food was good as always. Service was pretty bad. Seems some training needs to be done. Sat at bar for 15 minutes before getting order taken. Also got the bill with a service charge of $4.95. When I asked about the extra charge they said it's what they charge guest for coming in after 9pm. I could have sworn a bill was passed July 1st 2024 saying service charges are no longer allowed to be charged without notice. Maybe I'm wrong. Either way horrible service won't be going back. And yes I can afford the $4.95 service charge I just think it's bad business practice to punish a guest for coming in a few hours before you close by charging that guest $4.95.
Great location and decor however food and drinks are so so. Margaritas are poorly made - little tequila and all you taste is lime juice. Jalapeño margarita looks great but has no spice or kick to it. Tacos were decent. Will try again once the restaurant has been open a bit longer - seem to be still working out the kinks.
This place tries to do too much with their tacos while simultaneously over charging for weak portions. These fish tacos for $4.15 a piece were tiny and missing everything. Tiny pieces of fish and no other toppings. It’s good as a bar. They have decent drinks. But the food is mediocre at best. 4 tacos for over $20 and left still hungry isn’t great though. For real though Mas Taco, this portion of the fish tacos is unacceptable. This is what gets brought out for a bad happy hour where tacos are $2 a piece.
They don’t actually have chips, they just deep fry whole tortillas. We got chips and guac for pickup with the rest of our order (and they forgot to give us the ‘chips’ so we had to go back there after going home first) and they gave us 4 deep fried corn tortillas. It’s $10 for ‘chips’ and guac so kind of irritating. The rest of the food was very okay but not great. The picture is of the guac and it has a random lemon wedge and 1/2 jalapeño covering the top which is also weird. So I guess maybe change it to “tostadas and guacamole” on the menu and remove the option to buy chips 😂
2025: Service was terrible. A food runner did more for us than our server, Melissa. She hardly checked on us and couldn’t remember to even bring out ketchup. Gave us our drink orders and took 30 min to come back so we could order. Feb 2026: Came here with friends. Shared the large margarita, the watermelon redbull flavor, which was good and was enough for us 4. I had the short rib and drunken chicken taco. They both lacked flavor. I’ll try an order from the Global menu next time. I tried my friend’s battered fish taco - same thing, very little flavor. We asked for salt to make up for it. Service was okay - I wish she came to refill waters more often.
Our Family gathering was for a BD. Did know at first this was our destination spot, cause there are 3 areas. My Cuzn went to the men's restroom and had a bad encounter with next person looking over the stall while ,while he was in his private space. That was the most uncomfortable feeling ever. So plz. People don't let your young one go alone ever in a public restroom. We did report this inmetaley.
We were seated immediately yesterday Friday night , but unfortunately, that’s where the service ended. Over the course of 20 minutes, we watched at least six staff members—including a waitress with curly hair, another with long, dirty blonde hair, and two male servers—walk back and forth serving other tables without so much as a glance in our direction. No one offered us water, greeted us, or even acknowledged that we were there. We sat in the middle of the room, clearly waiting, but were completely ignored. After 20 minutes of this, we decided to leave. It was an incredibly disappointing experience. In the past, we’ve sat at the bar and at least received service, but this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. To have six different staff members walk by without taking any responsibility or even a moment to say, “We’ll be right with you,” is unacceptable. On a Friday night at 7:15 p.m., there are plenty of other restaurants around will treat you far better!
Host was nice, food was great. Server on the other hand was horrible. Didn’t acknowledge our existence for 20 minutes, only after going back to the host and asking her to send her to our table. She then comes by, drops off appetizer plates and says she’ll be right back. She proceeds to go clean another table and then finally makes her way back to us, 30 minutes after we had been seated. Once drinks made it, we asked for straws, and they never made it. Water refills were non-existent. Check was dropped off and nobody ever came by to collect payment. Had to go to the host to pay because we got tired of waiting. Meanwhile, other tables were getting served immediately by other servers. Almost felt intentional. 0/10 server.
Lovely outdoor patio seating. Seat yourself and we'll come to you service was fine because it was not packed at all but I just always feel a way when I walk into an establishment and no one acknowledges my presence. Food was not good... at all. Specifically, the tacos were not good. We had the drunken chicken, battered fish, potato, and banh mi shrimp. No flavor, pale meat, no sauce. Potato taco felt like random left overs from other dishes. Huge pieces of potato and corn with no flavor. It was very disappointing. We came for taco Tuesday and we're just glad to have saved $1 each taco, otherwise I'd be pissed. We left to go get more tacos because I will not go home with that as my last taste for the night.
This restaurant’s quality has been in decline for a while now. Tonight was the last draw for me. Horrible service, waiter was inattentive and seemed confused. Waited entirely too long for my table’s order to be taken. Food was cold and seemed like they gave my table the bottom of the pot, scraps! I’m done, won’t be going back.
Went to Mas Taco after Our St. Market around 9:30 pm, on a Saturday. We were sat for 20-25 min with no acknowledgment or look from any of the servers. My fiancé and i just left. drinks weren’t even served. Workers were compiled in the corner chatting with each other. lol
Tacos were horrible, the tortillas fell apart, and even the salsas lacked flavor. The chile relleno taco is literally a tortilla, cabbage and a jalepeño popper. Tasted okay (I actually like freezer jalapeño poppers) but it separated from its batter and was a mess to eat. Limes didn't have any juice. Other taco was greasy, unmemorable. Happy hour taco menu was odd (Thai beef? Banh mi shrimp?) but maybe that's the way to go. The margarita was pretty but tasted like they use the cheapest liquor possible. Still more expensive than others in the grid, even during happy hour. The ambience is sterile corporate. I arrived and staff was chatting with police in the doorway at the entry. I scanned the bar for my partner, who I planned to meet there. The cops joked, "Are you looking for us? We're right here. Ha ha." I honestly did not appreciate the first greeting to a new restaurant being flippant cops blocking the entry from a customer trying to get in. Overall nothing I'd come back for.
