Hammi's BBQ is a local favorite known for its delicious, fall-off-the-bone ribs and generous portions. Customers rave about the friendly staff and quick service. Some found the burnt ends shredded differently than expected or experienced inconsistency in food quality.

Love this place, and we make an effort to get here whenever we road trip thru Salina. The service is super fast, the food is succulent, and it's so fast. All the BBQ meats are moist, tender, and flavorful. The plates are generous enough for three of us to eat on two plates. This time we got the half a chicken plate and the rib plate with plenty of Cole slaw, onion rings, and the meat generous beans.
I love eating local and I love a good BBQ, so this place is a winner. Good selection of meats and sides. It's a fairly low-key, unassuming place with a friendly staff. I ordered a pork sandwich and was very happy with the taste, portion and price. I will definitely go back when I'm in town!
The food was excellent and reasonably priced. It's the best barbecue in Salina. The atmosphere is reminiscent of times in the late 1900's.
Nothing but great things to say about this BBQ place. If you have never ate here before you definitely need to try the ham because it is awesome. Also fast and friendly service.
After a long day of driving, this hit the spot! There was a line of cars almost to the street wrapped around the the drive thru, and inside was decently busy as well. Definitely a popular spot! If you get here and they're busy, I suggest waiting it out--it will be worth it. I got the Rib plate with potato salad and baked beans. They were all phenomenal. The only thing I would do different (I ordered ahead) would be to place my order through DoorDash for pickup rather than call it in. When I arrived at the restaurant, they did not start the order until after I paid. I assume with DoorDash they would probably start ahead of time since its prepaid. I was trying to save the restaurant owners the DoorDash platform fees by ordering directly over the phone. This food is probably expensive, so they want money in hand before they prepare it, so I understand if that is the case. Nonetheless, it was well worth the wait.
Stopped here on a road trip from out east to Denver with my girlfriend—saw the great reviews and decided to give it a shot. So glad we did. The food was delicious, hearty, and hit the spot after a long drive. We even ended up chatting with a few locals who gave us some great tips and stories—super welcoming vibe. Also, don’t miss the wall décor—tons of quirky, thoughtful pieces that are easy to overlook but worth checking out. Unexpected gem.
The food was phenomenal and the service was just a great!! We’re from out of town and this was a great pick.
My wife found this recommended place in our travel. We ordered a Slammer, half rack of ribs, and a two meat dinner meal that was absolutely delicious. I cannot emphasize enough to anyone looking for a place to eat in Salina to make a stop at Hickory Hut BBQ and enjoy all that they have to offer.
Saw the sign along the freeway. Drove down to the next exit and came back. I'm glad we did. Great pulled pork sandwiches. Most of the seating was full when we got here at 645pm on Friday. Folks just kept coming. Deciding on what to have at a BBQ joint is always harder than it should be. Service was quick. I was so hungry that I didn't take a picture. Maybe another time.
Solid Midwestern bbq in a great bbq joint atmosphere. Sweet, tender and juicy served with a smile. Had the Ripper plate and do have to say the polish sausage is fantastic. As a matter of fact everything my group had was well flavored and tender. Lots of interesting old photos in the walls to look at as well. Well worth the extra 5 minutes to stop and eat here.
The best barbecue we have ever had! The staff was amazing and kind. We arrived about 45 minutes before the closed for the day and they didn’t care. Served us quickly and with a smile. Super clean restaurant and plenty of parking. The best food we have had on our road trip across the country!
Great barbecue. Beats many KC joints. Super friendly staff dealing with us and a gaggle of kids. Fast service. Great soundtrack like from the guardians of the galaxy. Easily our favorite stop between Denver and KC.
What an AMAZING place!! I walked in and was immediately greeted by a mouthwatering aroma and friendly smiles! The staff helped me chose the right meal that fit my appetite!!! Boy, oh Boy, they hit the nail right on the head and my tastebuds were DANCING!!! Thank you Hickory Hut BBQ for raising the bar and giving me a delightful experience.
As a BBQ lover I never pass on an opportunity to try BBQ across the country when given the chance. Coming from Alabama to do some military training, I stopped in tonight and had the 2 meat dinner. My selections were ribs and sausage, sides were fries and coleslaw with texas toast also. Honestly this was one of the best ribs I have ever had. If you like a sweet profile, with the perfect smoke this is the place. Definitely will be back before I go back to bama. Great service, friendly staff.
If you are craving ice cream this is the go to place. Fair prices good size servings and excellent quality.
This food is amazing. The burnt ends are the best BBQ that I have had. Ever. When I make the drive from Colorado to the east coast or back I make a point of stoping here. The beans and coleslaw are also amazing. We grabbed a stuffed baked potato to take to camp 🏕️ and it was a really great treat. We asked for the potato to have the burnt ends instead of the pork, b/c We can not get enough of that yumminess!
Stopped in on our way back to colorado. Amazing food! Everything we had was phenomenal!
The Hickory Hut BBQ Restaurant is our new FAVORITE. We pass through Salina Kansas 3-4 times a year and just found this. WOW such a pleasant find. We had the Low Carb Dinner, perfect final meal of a 2 week trip back to Wichita. Great flavor, mix of meats and plenty to eat. We'll be back.
Honestly it was an amazing experience to try out the bbq sauce of Kansas! The sides are amazing and prices are very affordable. I definitely recommend.
10/10 I have absolutely zero complaints about this restaurant. I kid you not this might be the best bbq restaurant on the planet. On top of it the lady at the front was so kind she deserved a kiss… but it might’ve just been the food making me fall in love with her
I pass the hickory hut twice every week and finally I got the opportunity to try it. From the very beginning it was a good experience. I ordered online at the last minute. When I pulled up the doors were locked, dining room was closed. The owner was outside leaving for the night, he seen me and unlocked the door and let me in. He saw to it that I got my food and brought it to me himself. We had a brief conversation and I let him know i was from Tennessee. He responded, "well this isn't Memphis style BBQ," and he was right about that!!! It's his family's own unique style and I must say it's top notch! I'm very impressed. Based off of the interaction with the owner alone won me over. Great food + great customer service = returning customer. Support this local business!
Great place to grab some grub! A bit pricey but all BBQ is. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and the bill was just under $80. Food was great and a lot of it! The inside is a bit dated with some seats needing to be replaced but that’s the only “negative” thing I have to say! Deff check this place out if you’re in town.
I was highly impressed all the way around. Service was great,Atmosphere and music was perfect. I had the ribs and sausage with fries and all three were primo 👌. I was highly impressed with the tipping selection bar they had. Would highly recommend!
Stopped on our way to omaha from Oklahoma City and SO GLAD we did! If you like BBQ and you are close to this place, GO! Order at counter, daily specials, great service, BBQy interior (not fancy but clean and cozy). We had the Slammer (polish sausage topped with bbq beef and pork and “secret sauce”, 1/2 Santa Fe party potato, pulled pork, onion rings and baked beans for $24. The bread was the perfect sandwich bread, slightly crusty on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. Meat items were so tasty! Would highly recommend! Onion rings were homemade, thick with a great crusty coating. Half baked potato was huge and topped with lots of deliciousness. My favorite was the baked beans…Best I’ve ever tasted. We ended up taking half home with us. Our car smells like bbq heaven❤️ and even though my belly is happily full, I can’t wait for my leftovers tomorrow😍
Made a stop here for dinner as we passed through - excellent choice! We each had two meat dinner so we sampled brisket, ribs and sausage, along with baked beans, potato salad and onion rings. Everything was delicious - from the buttered toast, crunchy onion rings and baked beans to all the meats. And the staff were super friendly, kind and helpful. If you’re looking for good food and service, this is your place!
Best Barbeque I’ve had in a while! On my way home back from a road trip with my family, we decided to pit stop at this little hole in the wall. I found the reviews on here to be pretty helpful and had to try the food for myself. Wow, I didn’t even have enough time to take a picture of the family sized portion because it was every man for themselves. The food was naturally inhaled! Down to the flavor, the hospitality, and cleanliness, this place was a hit! I don’t know when I’ll be back but it’s definitely saved under my FAVORITES! 😋 🐷
This was my first visit. The food and service were very good. I had a lunch sandwich special but will return to try the ribs. The table next to me was loving their ribs.
Best ribs in Salina. We live out of state and make sure to stop here every time. Friendly staff, no wait, and homemade food that is reasonably priced. Well worth the drive! Do not expect fancy, this is a 60's style diner with music to match. A local favorite with a steady flow at the drive thru window if you want conveience.
I love BBQ and have been to endless establishment all over the country... I reside in Texas and yes... I do believe that Texas BBQ is best... Its part ego and mostly the truth... I happen to visit Hickory Hut BBQ in Salina, KS... This place blew my mind away... The brisket here is some of the best that I have ever had... The BBQ sauce is some what of a secret... I asked about it, was politely told that I will never know the secret sauce recipe... Which is fair... The food here is beyond amazing!!! If you love BBQ, please check this establishment out... The only two things that I wish they had was 1) Coke products and 2) Tshirts in my side... This place e is amazing!!!
Stopped in on our way to Seattle. Hubby and I split the rib dinner. Wow! That was enough food for four people! Ribs were meaty and tender just enough sauce! Sweet potato fried crispy and just salty enough. Fantastic!
When I walked in I was a little concerned because there were only two other people in the dinning room, then I realized that it wasn't even 4:00 PM yet. After ordering and sitting down more patrons starting coming in. The food was great, the brisket was very good and I would bath in a tub of those baked beans! I would also recommend the stuffed baked potato. Everything thing that I ordered was delicious. Decent prices, good service and spectacular BBQ. I'll be going back to Hickory Hut ;Q again!
Passing through Salina on our travels and happened on this gem of a restaurant. Walked into a clean space and welcomed by a very friendly gal behind the counter. She shared some recommendations and we were not disappointed!! The ribs, beans and coleslaw were amazingly good!! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Texas Stacker and onion rings! Highly recommend!!!!
Wow what a pleasure it was to eat in this special place. Sweet potato fries best I've ever eaten! Whole family (4 adults and 2 Kids) were absolutely delighted. Portions so big that we barely managed to eat everything (we could box what we left to take away). Staff was helpful and nice and understanding ❤️ I'm very glad that I found this place. Hope to visit it again!
I love hickory hut with my entire heart. My dad and I make special trips across Kansas for it. I tell people all the time that I want Hickory Hut to cater my entire life. Wedding. First born. Funeral. I want it all. They NEVER disappoint. I will stand ten toes down on my opinion that this is the absolute best bbq. PLUS it has such a homey feel to it and the service is always phenomenal!
A place I could visit again and again. Such good barbeque. It was my second time there after a few years. I'd highly recommend this place to any barbeque lover. The 1/2 ribs basket is work for 2 people even. And so much worth the price you pay. There's enough seating even for a bigger group. But both times I've been there I've also seen so many people coming through the drive through to pick up. Prolly one of the best bbq spots in KS hands down.
I visited this restaurant for the first time after seeing the reviews on Google Maps. The shop is located very close to the US81S exit. The store also has a drive-thru. This was my first time visiting, so I ordered in-store. The inside of the shop smells very good, and there is a fragrant smell of smoke. You order at the cash register inside the store, and the ordered items are brought to your table later. I ordered the most popular menu at the shop this time. The ribs were very fragrant and thick, and the sauce was not too sweet and was very delicious. There were about 5 ribs when I ordered. The side menu was also abundant. This is our favorite place to eat in Salina! Food is always delicious and hot. I don’t enjoy eating out most places anymore because I feel like I could make it better at home, but not at Hickory Hut. Everything they make is fantastic and prices are very reasonable. I’ve tried to recreate their special sauces and I can’t. If they would bottle and sell their sweet potato fry sauce and baked potato sauce I’d buy it! We always get the two meat dinner, split it between two and take home leftovers. All the staff is so kind and willing to serve you with a smile. Always clean and relaxing. Can’t go wrong with Hickory Hut!
I've heard alot about Hickory Hut but have never been until today! This food was amazing! The rib basket comes with a side and drink, great service at the drive thru window. Definitely will be coming back again.
This is truly some of the best BBQ that I have ever had IMHO. The burnt ends are amazing! Sides: potato salad, coleslaw and baked beans are very good. The ribs are good but, I would consider the burnt ends to be the specialty of Hickory Hut. When my husband and I make the drive from Colorado to the east and back. We always try to time it so that we can stop at this restaurant & it never disappoints, been coming here for years. This should be a gold standard for this style of barbecue.
This is the best barbeque I have ever had! We stop here almost every time we drive through Salina. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee it! Their 1/2 rack of ribs are to die for!
I asked a few Salina natives for BBQ recommendations and none hesitated; all pointed me to Hickory Hut with enthusiasm. They were so right. Brisket sandwich was tender and flavorful, excellent coleslaw and beans, and friendly service. I will definitely return.
I always tell people when you go to a BBQ place that "if you can't smell the smoke, keep going." Well folks, when you walk into the Hickory Hut, you will be greeted with the best smelling BBQ place this side of Texas. Fast and friendly service food was great from the ribs to the coleslaw and everything in between. My only complaint is there should be a warning sign DON'T WEAR WHITE...I had BBQ sauce everywhere, lol
The food and service was fantastic! The brisket was very flavorful, the potato wedges were seasoned perfectly, and the baked beans were a great pairing with the rest of the food! All the food came out very quickly and everything was hot and fresh! Would absolutely recommend 10/10
Passing through in rv and stopped based on great reviews. A MUST stop! Little bites of heaven! Very clean! Staff is super friendly!! Oh my….if I ever have the chance, I’ll go out of my way to eat here again. It’s the best I’ve had in years. I’ll be thinking about this meal for a long time, thank you for providing us such incredible meals we thoroughly enjoyed. I think I moaned with joy each bite
Nice local BBQ we really like the food and the homemade Sammy sauce us good. Big portions not fancy just good. We always stop when we are in Salina
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If heaven has a BBQ joint, it’s called The Hickory Hut. I’m convinced you can smell this place from two miles away—like a smoky, meaty siren song calling you home. I followed that sweet barbecue perfume straight to Salina, Kansas, and what awaited me was nothing short of a life-changing rib experience. These aren’t just ribs. These are THE ribs. The best ribs I’ve ever eaten. Not “good,” not “great,” but “I’m-thinking-about-moving-closer-just-for-dinner” kind of good. They’re so tender they practically apply for their own passport to Flavortown. The bark is perfect, the sauce is balanced, and every bite makes my soul sing “hallelujah” in hickory smoke. The staff? As warm and genuine as a summer evening. The vibe? Real-deal, no-frills BBQ at its finest. You won’t find any fake “rustic chic” here—this is authentic. When I walked in, I swear the pit itself winked at me. If you love barbecue, you owe it to your taste buds, your ancestors, and your future self to get yourself to The Hickory Hut. Bring napkins. Bring friends. Bring your sense of joy. 10/10. Would follow that smoke again.
We were in town and wanted to find a non- chain restaurant. Looking for specifically bbq. We found a hidden gem! I had the santa fe potato and my gf had a brisket sandwich with a side of coleslaw. I also got 1 rib and she tried the onion rings. Everything we tried was delicious. Highly recommend!
Best BBQ & Best Restaurant in the County! If you drive by,try to stop & find out. Love the SantaFe Party Potato double meat pulled pork. But everything is great(Slammer,Ribs,Low-Carb Lunch) You won’t be disappointed.
oh...my...GOD!!! Traveling from OH to CO, stopped here to rest and DoorDashed the feito pie with hot polish sausage. The baked beans havr the absolutely best rich brown sugar flavor, the polish sausage is amazing only thing is I wished I did different was get the mild polish sausage. Then I could really enjoy the sweetness of the frito pie. Im the pickiest eater and 99% of the tine I try something new I wont like it but I loved this stuff so much im writing this review while eating it
We stopped at Hickory Hut Barbecue in Salina, Kansas, and it was the perfect little break from life on the road! The cozy, hometown atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the food was absolutely incredible. The barbecue was tender and flavorful, and I highly recommend the Santa Fe potato — it’s loaded, smoky, and unbelievably good! We enjoyed our meal outside the semi under the warm lights, and it honestly felt like a mini date night after a long day of driving. Great service, great food, and great vibes — definitely worth the stop if you’re traveling through Kansas!
Traveling thru Salina Ks from Council Bluffs Ia and decided to give the Hickory Hut a shot. I’m a self declared “rib snob” and their ribs are legit! I also had beans, and burnt ends. They were also delicious! Burnt ends were shredded and that was different from what I am used to, but still tasty. Their flavor onion rings were also very good! My friend had the smoked chicken and said it was some of the best he’s ever had! Would definitely eat there again and I would definitely recommend it! Best meal of the trip for sure!
We were passing through, on the way to Colorado. We make it a point to try different BBQ places when we travel and this was a pleasant surprise. I got the ribs, which had excellent flavor and were served hot. The staff were friendly and very attentive. As near as I could tell, the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was relaxed. All in all, this was an above average experience. I highly recommend!
I live about six hours from all my family, and this restaurant is almost at the halfway point. We always stop here to eat, it’s always amazing, food is always fantastic and service is wonderful. They are very generous with their portions, which is nice because I can share a dinner with my wife so we don’t waste food on a long hot drive. They play bangers in the restaurant and I really appreciate how easy it is to do things yourself, like grab a to-go box if you need it, drinks, ketchup etc. I also appreciate how the workers are super nice but also not like, too nice (where you feel like you can’t eat a meal in peace without someone asking how it is) so that’s lovely. Just a nice chill place to relax with some delicious food 👌🏼 Included some pics of food over the years. I should add, my wife is British and fell in love with Barbeque food—I took her for a Barbeque food tour in Kansas City, and we had some great Barbeque food, but Hickory Hutt remains our favorite 😌
Found this little gem on a road trip. Ribs were fantastic! Potato wedges were probably the best I've had, and they give you enough to feed a small army. The texas stacker brisket sandwich would have been better with a higher meat-to-etc ratio (lots of bread and onion rings, compared to meat) but flavors and texture were on point! Through this area often and will definitely be back
Fun little local joint. About 5 minutes off I70. All the vibes you'd expect from a locally owned BBQ hut. Food was good. I'm going to have to come back and try the meat sampler dinner. I was there at lunch and didn't need that much food so I went with a sausage sandwich. It was good but the brisket in the display case looked amazing. I guess I'll have to go back :)
Down home Kansas City BBQ at its finest! Don’t miss the baked beans - filled with sausage and ham they are a meat lovers dream. Tangy, tasty and meaty! Fall off the bone ribs, hand breaded onion rings. If you are local you are probably already here and if you are on a road trip plan to stop in!
Now this restaurant is one of the best experiences I've ever had dining out. The ribs are fall off the bone tender with excellent taste. The baked beans are to die for and the coleslaw and Texas toast are superb. If you ever happen to pass through Salina Kansas this is way more than worth the roadtrip break and is less than a quarter mile off the highway exit. The Hickory Hut BBQ Restaurant makes me glad I took a job out here!!!
Driving to Missouri and had to stop and try some KC BBQ. We arrived about 2:05pm and asked if they had any special. Their specials end at 2pm. We ordered the pulled meat sandwich meal. The sweet potato fries, beans & potato salad was awesome! As far as BBQ, not many sauce selections like back in STL. It was okay BBQ, but I maybe spoiled to STL BBQ. 4 customers came through after us and asked the same questions as we asked. I’d maybe offer the lunch special until 3pm. Great spot to stop by if traveling through.
We came to the Hickory Hut based on reviews as we traveled through Salina, & man it did not disappoint! The food came out fast, servers were friendly, and it was delicious. We had the burnt end sandwich w/onion rings, & a pork sandwich w/sweet potato fries. If ever back in this area we will definitely stop again!!🙂👍
This place was really good. I had never heard of it before and decided to give it a try because well I'm on a road trip and that's what you do try new places and things. The restaurant is really visually interesting with almost every inch of their walls covered with photos or some type of art. I had the Burnt Ends sandwich basket and it was good. The sauce was sweeter than I'm used to but it was really good and that's the beauty of trying new places you get to discover that you like certain things. As we were leaving three female police officers showed up in different vehicles so they must have met up intentionally for dinner and since cops know the good places to eat I guess I really did pick a good spot to eat. As the three of them were walking in I made a joke that they all looked very arresting and they actually laughed. Coming from a large city where the cops are all stern faced it's was nice to experience police officers who are not afraid to let their human sides shine through. I even bought t-shirt so I could remember the place. One last thing, if the restaurant management reads this, the men's bathroom was clean like really clean and when you are on a long road trip you have no idea how important it is to have clean place to take a nature break. Thank you to your employees for making the Hickory Hut a tasty and comfortable place to eat.
Came here traveling through town and enjoyed some really excellent BBQ. I had the ribs and hot sausage and she had the pulled pork. We both loved it. The sides were great too. The restaurant was a little dirty so I can't give them 5 stars, but really good food. I recommend.
What a great find! While on business in Salina my team suggested this place for lunch. Luckily we went after the lunch rush. Not knowing when the best time to go we went at 1230, still a great time since there were good choices to choose from. Typically with good BBQ places they run out. Obviously they didn’t run out on the choices were made. The service was great and the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend trying this place out! I choose the two meat platter, brisket & pulled pork. My two sides were baked beans & potato salad. I must admit the beans were outstanding. The potato was worthy as well. Both meats were smoked perfectly! I tried two different BBQ sauces I loved them both. I did not try the Spicy version. I’m not sure if my travels will take me back through Salina but I’d definitely eat here again!
With the main dish so sweet who needs dessert. The meats were cooked well. Nice pickles! Too much sugar in sauce, on potato wedges, in beans, on the stuffed fries.
This was the 337th stop on a 'cue odyssey spanning 35 states, and the 17th in Kansas. At 3PM on a Saturday afternoon, it was extremely busy, and the burnt ends long since sold out. For $17.46, I purchased a Texas Stacker sandwich (brisket, onion rings and provolone cheese), with individual sides of coleslaw and baked beans. As so many have commented, the baked beans were the star of the show. Laced with sausage, they featured a rich molasses color and sweet taste. The coleslaw, which was simply chopped cabbage with a light dressing, would make a good, cleansing bite as you move between different meats on a 2 meat platter, but it doesn't have enough character to stand on its own. As for the Stacker, the bread was really good, but the onion rings overwhelmed the chopped brisket. I took the sandwich apart, but the meat still needed to lean on the sweet BBQ sauce for its flavor. In sum, we would judge the Hut to be a worthwhile stop if you are in the neighborhood and hungry for 'cue, but we would not consider it a destination restaurant.
It was good. We have never been to Kansas before or had real Kansas bbq so we have nothing to compare it to except Carolina bbq where we’re from. Could have a bit more smoke flavor. Never had burnt ends that were chopped up so it was a little weird for us. Only one sauce and it’s sweet. It was good but a bit too sweet for our tastes. However the meat was seasoned and prepared well.
Its not bad BBQ. For my taste the Burnt Ends were oddly sweet. The Ribs were OK. The sides were good. Is it the best KS has to offer? No. But it was ... well just OK. The service and Atmosphere are great. Alot of local sports memorabilia. I say its still worth a visit if your in the area.
Was not a good meal tonight. Burnt ends were not up to the usual standard . Gritty, tasty chewy greasy and didn't even look good. Also potato wedges were super greasy and way over seasoned. Ribs were tasty and tender but they were also more greasy tonight. Just was an off night or different cook than previous times we have gone. 99th
I'm judging the food based on the KC BBQ places I frequent. It's hard to beat bbq out of KC area. I had the brisket and burnt ends meal. The meats looked alot alike and were both shredded and not what I expected for brisket or burnt ends. The flavor was OK but nothing spectacular. The sauces didn't have alot of flavor. I had Cole slaw, baked beans and onion rings for sides. The beans were good and served hot. They had pieces of sausage in them and were seasoned good. The cole slaw definately tasted homemade and had a good flavor. The onion rings were possibly homemade (it was hard to say for sure). Server was friendly and counter help was too.
It was my first time going to that place, maybe it could have been an amazing experience, and although I saw many people coming to place their order to go, personally my choice of food was not the best, the chicken was very dry and tasteless. The positive point is that the plate was generous, I loved my super crispy and large onion rings, a protein combo with two sides and the very reasonable drink in price, the attention of the staff was very basic and not friendly at all, the place and the atmosphere could be better, the retro decoration could be taken advantage of and has potential but the cleanliness of the room, where the tables are located, left a lot to be desired!
All I can say is WOW, WOW 😳. This place was one of my favorite places to eat,,,,, well until today. Ordered takeout. Ordered the #5, two meat dinner and my son the #3. I was so upset and disappointed that I actually teared up over it. The onion rings I got were definitely sitting for some time, not fresh. They were so greasy that there was actually a little pool. The batter on them was just falling off and the poor piece of onion left was just soggy and floppy. Then on top of it all I didn't even receive my half potato, which I really do love. When a customer has to pay $21.99 for something, I know I actually expect to receive it all. I can say for a fact that I will not be returning here for my B B Q craving for a very long time if ever at all. HOG WILD here I come. So extremely disappointed and disgusted with you Hickory Hut 😡 Not Again. When I did receive a response they were basically blaming it on Door dash, but see, I didn't use them for delivery, I picked it up MYSELF. Can't blame them Hickory Hut, you just served a very nasty meal and the service staff didn't even check my order to make sure it was complete. They also said that the price was wrong but as you can see in the screenshot of their menu, it really IS priced as $20.99. SHAME ON YOU Hickory Hut!!!!!
Do not get the “burnt ends”. I asked the woman that brought out our food if they accidentally gave me something different and she said no, that was in fact what they call burnt ends. It was the texture of beef jerky and just generally disgusting. The brisket was odd too but tasted fine. There was sliced brisket underneath a pile of mush.
