We are returning customers for a while and always get great service , yesterday they definitely dida phenomenal job ! Our waiter Fernando from the time I placed the modification to our RSVP due to more people attending till the end , He made sure to maintain professional and great customer service .He made sure my hunny had the privacy to enjoy a good dinner with our family and close friends . Food , drinks , and just the atmosphere was amazing . We definitely will make the travel to continue to done in.

I got the marranito dish, served on a volcanic rock bowl It has mix of meats and onion, cactus plus salad, rice, beans and tortillas, enough for 2 people. It was very tasty. Friday and Saturday night they have free karaoke. It's a very popular place

Have great portions and great authentic Mexican food. My in laws are from Mexico and they love the food. The tripass we're good. The Virtual was so good it forgot to take a pic before I started eating..lol. they have food for adults and children as well very family-friendly. The waiters are very attentive and wonderful.

We had to get the assistance of another server because our server did not come back to check on us to see if we needed napkins or refills on our drinks Etc. First time at Vallarta Grill. Parrillada for 2 was so delicious, well seasoned, so flavorful, with beef & chicken fajitas, shrimp, sausage, onions, peppers, poblano, & a plate of rice, beans , guacamole, lettuce, tomato for each of us. Hot, fresh & fluffy tortillas. Salsa was so flavorful. Ordered a delicious, creamy side of queso. We look forward to return to try other menu items.

We enjoyed our meals at Vallarta Grill and Bar. They start with chips and salsa, which was hot and roasted. I had the Enchiladas Mexicanas, which was nice and flavorful. My dad had the taco salad, which was the best taco salad he had. My mom had the fajitas plate, which had good meat, and the tortillas served with the fajitas were hot and fresh. Also, my mom got a margarita, which she said had a good flavor. Plus, the prices were pretty reasonable and the portions were good. In short, this is a delicious authentic Mexican restaurant that I can definitely recommend.

I was passing through San Antonio with my grandma and was searching for carne guisada taco. We found it at Vallarta Grill and Bar. It was delicious. The way carne guisada is supposed to taste like and look. The carne pieces were huge, which I liked, but my grandma had a different preference. But we enjoyed ourselves very much. The red salsa was spicy and delicious. The Verde salsa was not so spicy but still tasty.

Staff was friendly and attentive, food was flavorful with generous portions. The prices were amazingly low for the portions. I'm only in San Antonio for 5 days with my family, and we are definitely going to eat there again this trip, it was that positive of an experience.

This place came highly recommended to me by a friend so we went to try. Their chips were so warm and super fresh and crunchy and the salsa was amazing. I ordered the cheeses enchiladas and those were probably the best I had in a long while haha absolutely loved it. The waitress was super sweet and very attentive. Today, we visited this restaurant for lunch. The restaurant’s cuisine is a blend of Mexican and Tex-Mex flavors. In my opinion, the walls are somewhat cluttered with advertisements for beverage brands and other information. The food was exceptionally well-seasoned and flavorful and served hot. My husband ordered a whole fried fish, which he was very pleased with, particularly the presentation and the taste of the seasoning. I ordered green enchiladas, which were delicious. The portions are quite generous, allowing for leftovers or reheating at home. While some individuals may not prefer reheating, we generally find that it does not compromise the quality of the food. The restaurant’s atmosphere is pleasant, but I found the music to be excessively loud, which detracts from the ambiance and ability to fully enjoy a meal. Additionally, the color scheme of the decorations is predominantly dark and somber. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We always check the indoor temperature of a restaurant, and this establishment was comfortable, given the warm outdoor temperatures.

Loved it. I came to eat for lunch today at 1pm. The only thing I didnt like was the chips and salsa . They didn't taste homemade. They tasted like store bought and salsa from can but the rest of the dishes were delicious. The kids nugget plate came with an extra side order of rice which was nice. We had our Zumba Christmas party Luncheon there.We had the party room and had SO much fun. We danced, sang, and it was a fun time. They did need more help to take our orders and to serve. The waitress was very nice,but she needed help for our large party.

I did order a chicken fajita taco and asada taco which were both a bit bland. The asada had a lot of gristle which was a bit disappointing, but the flavor was good. Our first time visiting and I can’t really give this place a decent review. All I know is that the beef fajita quesadillas I had was pretty good. The fajita meat was seasoned well that of course included bell peppers and onions. My daughter had the birra tacos and they looked good too. We will have to come back and try other items on the menu.

We had my mom's birthday party there. If anyone going to have party, make sure to ask if the room is ONLY FOR THE PARTY and if booking on a Sunday MAKE SURE TO ASK WHAT TIME DJ PLAYS. They serve the food on cold plates which makes your food get cold fast, coffee taste like water. Hopefully they will remedy the cold plates and improve on the coffee, I'll be back and give another review.

I was told this place offered outstanding service. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated, but our server took approximately 8min to acknowledge my party. Needless to say, he kept running back and forth, from table to table trying to multitask, but all it did was provide us with unacceptable service. Overall, my experience here was unpleasant. The food is gross everything has fat on it and it's not even hot it's like room temperature at best. Another thing that I find very unprofessional is the waitresses seem to be very nice to only the men when women talk to them they look at you like what and look right back to the man. You would think they would have common courtesy to everybody who goes to the restaurant not just the men. I will never go back to this restaurant that's for sure it was an ugly horrible experience that I will not repeat

They oil was dripping down the crispy tacos worse place. People are lazy there. Yes, place will definitely ruin your cholesterol levels.Sky high!

All i ordered was a barbacoa taco and tea, and found a stick in the taco. They still charged me $2.98 for the tea even though i found a stick?! The waiters were nice but i was not expecting to pay at all considering a part of a tree was found in my meat 💀

Food was okay but my problem is that I was charged 3% for paying with a debit card. When I asked our server about the discrepancy between the original ticket and credit card ticket, he tried to pass it off as tax. I showed him it was not tax and then he showed me on the menu where it was posted in Spanish at the bottom of the menu cover. The ONLY place they have the notice in English is by the outside front door handle on a tiny sticker in almost microscopic print. I just hate being deceived. If a business wants to promote cash business (for whatever reason) that's fine but I'm not doing business with anyone that operates in such a sneaky, dishonest fashion. Tell me up front and I will choose to pay in cash, pay the fee or not go there. Makes me question what's going on in the kitchen.

I paid $13 +tip for a full order of beef fajita nachos. This is what I was given. Smh Please don’t waste your time or money on this place!

This place sucks now. Over half the time that we do delivery, our order is always wrong. Never ordering here again since the cooks like to be funny and just give you an entirely different plate that what you’ved ordered.

Me and my mother come here all the time but we won’t be returning. We were treated as if we were criminals by a tall manager. We ordered the Texas plate and it was full of grease 🤮. Came back to let them know about our food & he acted as if we were lying! The drive-thru girl had to come to verify for him that she served us. Even after she verified he still requested our receipt which we had including the pictures to show. Definitely not the same here & Don’t recommend 0/10!!!

I work down the street and I always have issues with this place. I thought I'd give another try. Be careful with the drive thru I can't prove it but the two times I went through their drive thru I had to cancel and report my CC's stolen for fraud charges to ch!potle. This time on 10/27/25 I ordered through a delivery app and got green sauce enchiladas and the beef was very undercooked.
