Found on Google maps. Better than expected - friendly staff, great pizza and the ambiance was excellent. Sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather. Their homemade root beer was on point.
Came with my Dad and some of his friends and sat at the bar. Taylor helped us and she was amazing! Super friendly and polite and helped us all find a beer we liked. Give it up for Taylor!
Pizza Port never disappoints! The crust is so soft, fluffy, and perfectly baked, and every bite is packed with flavor. I love that they let you do 1/2 and 1/2—perfect when everyone wants something different. We also got the small salad, and it was surprisingly big! It’s definitely enough to split for four, but we shared it between the three of us and it was just right. Always a solid spot for great food and good vibes!
I've visited this location once before. It's the only Pizza Port outside of San Diego, glad it's here. Food is fantastic and great selection of beers. Staff are friendly, Professional and provide fast service. Really glad the food is made fresh to order. The interiror is a little messy but that's part of the aesthetic so it's ok. The restrooms look decently clean so that's a plus. Parking is a little tough sometimes but a walk never hurt anyone. Definitely will be coming back, one of my favorite spots to come to visit.
Pizza Port is more popular than you might imagine. During a routine security check at LAX International Airport, one of the officers was looking quite authoritative. However, when he saw my husband's pizza Port shirt, he immediately broke into a sweet and satisfying smile. Pizza Port is a must-try spot. If you by chance find one nearby don't miss out on trying it. Especially if you’re a pizza devotee. The portions are very generous with their unique toppings. I liked the artichoke topping the best. I give my highest recommendation for this pizza restaurant. So far we have been to Morro Bay and this location. Both of them were amazing and the food all tasted great.
First time. Love the brew. Great service. Casey and Micah have top tier hospitality. I was recommended by Eric the service representative. The Carlsbad pizza is so fire 🔥.
This is arguably our favorite Pizza place in California. The overall taste of the pizza is amazing. We love the standard pepperoni, BBQ chicken, and Hawaiian. Not to mention, you may find your new favorite drink here! Also the wings are absolutely worth taking a chance on. If you get the chance to sit on the balcony, its one of the best experiences you could possibly pay for in a meal. Plan for it to be pretty busy but its worth the wait. Good view + good weather + great pizza = paradise!!
We waited for 20-30 minutes but they were making it fresh so that is to be expected. Pizza was really good, and hit the spot but I just wish it was a bit more flavorful? We loved how fluffy the crust and dough were though. Maybe it’s on me and I should have added some red pepper flakes 😆
Pizza Port – San Clemente is hands down a must-stop for pizza lovers! The sauce has that perfect balance of sweet and savory that keeps you coming back for more. The crust is everything you could want—perfect thickness with just the right amount of doughiness, making every bite satisfying without being heavy. The pepperoni packs a bold, robust flavor that pairs beautifully with the incredible cheesiness of each slice. And let’s talk about that cheese pull—chef’s kiss perfection! 🍕 A true slice of heaven in San Clemente.
The place is super busy and for good reason! The pizza packs full of flavor and the cheese really stands out on that flavor. We got a large pepperoni and fried macaroni and cheese. Both very good and can’t complain. They had an arcade but my mission was to pick up and go, so I did not explore the arcade. There is also a brewery/bar, I unfortunately did not have anything from there but it must be good with the amount of people trying to grab a glass of refreshments. This is a must eat pizza! This was our first time eating here, we just traveled from Tucson.
Love Pizza Port. Great pizza. Great beer at a reasonable price. Ranch on tap. 🤤 It does get loud on the weekends, so make sure if you're looking for a quiet place during the weekend you take that into consideration. Bartenders are super chill too and are always willing to let you try a sample. Cheers to the best pizza place in So Cal. 🍻
Finally made it here after hitting every other Pizza Port location. Same great vibes, a unique layout, some unique brews. Can’t beat the PP formula!
We found this place last night and had such great food and beer so had to bring our vegan friend to try, as well, tonight! Pizzas were Really Good and we 💗 dark beers and found Dawn to Dusk phenomenal!! So worth it!!!

Pizza Port in San Clemente is a local classic that always delivers. The pizza is consistently fresh with a great crust and well-balanced toppings, and the in-house craft beer selection is one of the best around. The atmosphere is relaxed and beachy, the staff is friendly and efficient, and it’s an ideal stop after the beach or for a casual meal with friends or family. A must-visit spot in San Clemente for pizza and beer lovers.
I had the gluten-free crust pizza with vegan cheese, mushrooms, olives, jalapeños, and bell peppers, and it was honestly the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was thin, crisp, and flavorful without being greasy, which is rare for GF pizza. I’m a symptomatic celiac, so eating out can be stressful, but I had zero reaction after eating here. I’m in San Clemente on vacation and loved it so much that I came back twice in two days. It was a busy Friday night around 6 PM and we waited about an hour, but we ordered three pizzas and two appetizers, and the food was absolutely worth the wait. If you’re gluten-free (or just want great pizza), this place is a must. I would happily eat here again and again.I had the gluten-free crust pizza with vegan cheese, mushrooms, olives, jalapeños, and bell peppers, and it was honestly the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had. Pizza Port = elite pizza + top-tier craft beer. Always consistent. Always legit. Best beach city vibe pizza in OC and even better in San Diego County locations. 20+ years loyal, and now my whole family (especially my toddler) loves it too. Never misses. Family friendly always!
Pizza Port never misses. Great beer, great pizza, and that classic surf-town energy that makes you want to hang out longer than planned. The pizza is always on point, the beer lineup is stacked, and the staff keeps things moving even when it’s packed. It’s the kind of place where sandy feet, loud laughs, and good vibes are all part of the experience. A true local staple and always worth the stop.

The food was delicious!! That pretzel was so good! The pizza was so flavorful! The place is very kid friendly and fun atmosphere!! We really enjoyed checking this place out while on vacation! A great family friendly find!
Great atmosphere, pretty good pizza and beer. There was a large selection of beer, but the majority were IPA, which I'm not overly fond of. Still a fun spot.

Based on the high reviews of this place, my group was hoping for good local pizza. I enjoyed my pizza, however the rest of my group reported mediocre pizza. The gluten free crust is the same crust you can get from major chain places, such as MOD Pizza. Was overall disappointing, as we went in with high hopes with how good the pictures in other reviews looked. Would I go again if I was in town? It wouldn’t be my first choice but I’d go again

First time at this place and it looked really promising. The atmosphere was really relaxed and it had a fun arcade for those that like that type entertainment. We had ordered two pizzas and the quality was off the chain. The ingredients were fresh and the crust was thin and crispy. The only reason I am giving a 1 star for service is that it took 45 minutes to get two small pizzas. It wasn't really crowded, we had visited on a Monday early afternoon. Overall, the place is great but waiting that long was something to keep in mind.

We stayed on a Friday night for the Santa Run on Saturday There are several bars in the area including 3 across the street. And on Friday night they had the battle of the bands until 2am. So we didn’t get much sleep before our Santa Run. Apparently there is a repeat on Saturday night. The front desk told us that if we don’t like loud music, don’t come on the weekends. The room was nice with a beautiful view of the ocean but never again.
