Live in north county the husband and I are always looking for good pizza places when we come down south. Pizza e Birra didn’t disappoint!! Wings-FIRE! Pizza-FIRE!!! I had the white margarita and the hubby had the meat lovers, crust was amazing. That’s a lot coming from a carb and bread lover. The staff was super chill; Isaiah the manager and guys in the back Zack and Leo ( I think, sorry if I was wrong) Grabbing the teenager next time when we come back!!

On a recent visit to San Diego my family visited this place. When we walked in the only person there was the owner. It was a pleasure to interact with him. The service was good. The food was good. Before we eat we always pray and i asked if there was anything he wanted us to pray for. He happily decided to join us in prayer. It was a pleasure visiting his place. We will definitely return we visit the area again.

We got really lucky! Followed the high ratings and had such a nice dinner. The service was great, super friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding! Generous portions, delicious pizza she’s salad. They also have great beer selection! We really enjoyed our time here.

Pizza E Birra is nothing short of incredible. Went here looking for some good pizza & wings and couldn’t have gotten luckier. Not only was the food amazing, but the owner Sam & his staff were top notch. They made me feel like I was right at home. 10/10 will absolutely be coming back often.

If you’re in the area and want pizza, salad, or wings, stop here! The pizza was so fresh, I loved their sauce, and prices were fair in my opinion. We ordered 2 pizzas (meat lovers and then the spicy one (forgetting name), 1 order of wings, and 1 lunch special (personal pizza + salad). Zero complaints honestly. In 3 words: Good, generous, quality. Can’t ask for much more. Sam who was helping us out was really cool and made the experience better. 10/10 would recommend.

We got the San Diego pizza. Comes with double pepperoni/cheese, 14 wings (which you can divide into two of their sauces), and mozzarella sticks. The crust is hand-tossed and pizza/wings are cooked in stone/fire oven. It was delicious and easily enough for 4 people. Also, like the local beers and seltzers. We will be coming back!

I went here yesterday for lunch. The service was really good when I walked into the door. I ordered pepperoni pizza with half jalapeno, meatball and spaghetti, and buffalo wings. The food was all on point. I've tried over 20 different pizza places in San Diego and this pizza was really good. You can tell the difference in the quality. I thought I had pretty much all the good pizza in San Diego but when I tried this it was just different. They have plenty of seating on the inside and some seating on the outside. I recommend you come over here and give them a try. I will be coming back again. Thank you for taking care of me

Sam is absolutely amazing. He took amazing care of us when we walked in. Get the wings, like for real! We got the 12, and split half lemon pepper and half mango habanero. AMAZING! Crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside and amazing flavor! Pizza were hot and fresh, and brought out promptly. Toppings and ingredients were all fresh and tasty! We were visiting from Hawaii, and wife and I will return if we make it back to San Diego. This place was an absolute gem and we can't recommend them enough to anyone looking for a great place to eat!

Absolutely phenomenal! From the salad to the dessert. The wings came out piping hot and with some delicious ranch which seemed to be homemade. The salad was super fresh, we had the caesar and caprese. The pizza was so simple but that's what made it so delicious. We will definitely be back next time we visit SD. If you're in the area, it is a must try!!! Don't miss out.

Pizza was solid. Loved the pepperonis. I do feel like the edges of the pizza were more thoroughly cooked than the center, which was too droopy. I've eaten deepdish pizza by hand but had to use a fork for this. For some that might be fine, but I found it irritating. I'd put the pizza at 6.75/10. The wings were REALLY good! ~9-10/10 for me. I want to go and get the wings again at some point.

Tuesday 2:00 PM parked in one of the two India St. curbside spots in front. Lucky! Place was virtually empty, only 2 or 3 customers on this sunny January day. I had the good value Lunch Special Pizza and Salad. A bit more dough than I like, crispy on the edges but soggy in the middle. Generous portion, I didn’t leave hungry. Southwest facing windows bring in plenty of light but adds a bit too much interior heat. Concrete countertops and hard walls and ceiling make for harsh acoustics. Place could use a sprucing up, looks tired and dirty. Service was prompt and easy going.

San Diego pizza with chicken wings on the rim and mozzarella sticks interspersed throughout the pizza. Edit: Underside of pizza was burnt 1/3 of the way. Props to using stone to cook but unfortunate it turned out this way. Don’t exactly remember verbatim but staff essentially told me that’s how pizza is. I don’t blame them. It looks fine mostly. But it TASTES burnt. Good ingredients and overall a delicious pizza. Three pieces of chicken were burnt black as you can see in the photos. Interior of chicken looks fine, but the exterior is burnt and tastes burnt. Was given a single cannoli for asking about the partially burnt dish; cannoli tasted great.

I really wanted to like this place. The ratings looked great, and it’s always busy whenever I walk by, so I figured it had to be good. The staff was okay, but there wasn’t much of a friendly vibe when I came in or during my visit. The first pizza I tried was great — loved the sauce and the perfect crispiness of the dough. Unfortunately, the second one I ordered was completely different. It came out soggy and dripping with oil. I even tried to let the excess drain off, but when I took a bite, more oil literally poured out — at least half a teaspoon. I also ordered chicken wings, which one seemed undercooked and still had some pink inside. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to take a picture at the time. Later on that evening, I started feeling sick — bad stomach cramps, nausea, and multiple trips to the bathroom. I’m almost certain it was from this meal. Also, I noticed one of the servers had long nails, which doesn’t seem sanitary for food service. Overall, I was disappointed given the high ratings and how busy the place usually is. I hope this was just an off day, because the first pizza showed the potential for something great.
