We are out of Towner's, found this place on Google with great reviews, so we gave it a try. We were definitely not sorry. The portions are huge, prices very reasonable & oh so yummy! If we lived here, I'd be a loyal customer for sure. The lady at the counter was extremely kind & friendly.

Came in right at opening around 930am. This was my second time visiting. Ordered a Cali breakfast burrito. Dined in. Host offered drink varieties and chips with salsa. Food was brought promptly with red and green salsa. Burrito was huge ham eggs and this gooey cheese sauce(needed a fork to finish the rest) Chips and salsa was good. Strawberry horchata was fantastic not too sweet.

The pastor was the best I have ever had but the name to fame is the cali burrito! I travel for business an I must say, this has been the best Mexican restaurant I have found, I will be back!!

Sooo tasty! Super quick and very friendly service. The fresh chips and salsa were super awesome. The vibes inside were super nice too, with an awesome mural and hanging lights! Booths are huge enough to fit you and all your friends! I had the horchata and the diablo shrimp burrito which were both awesome. Huge portions for super reasonable prices!

Incredible service. Went in with 5 kids after a few hours at the beach. We ordered ALOT! It came out fast, fresh & perfectly how we ordered. I was so impressed. Parents got to enjoy chips & salsa while we waited and kids colored on the chalk wall. It was a great experience!

I tried the carne asada fries and the meat was really tasty and the fries weren’t salty either. The red salsa was a little spicy but very good. The green one hit the spot tho. But I mix my salsas so..the aguas frescas we’re great too. I will definitely be coming back.

2nd time in Cali Fresh, and they honesty never disappoint! Top 10 SD Mexican food spot for sure, #1 in City Heights/NorthPark area. My order: 4 rolled tacos combo with rice and beans + horchata As usual, very crispy + hot. The horchata is one of the best ive had (not the powdery stuff, the real fresh made horchata with cinnamon sprinkle on top). Everything always comes out fresh without denying the quality! Bonus: comes with chips and salsa when you eat in!

Without a doubt the best authentic Mexican food in San Diego.. and I've been to them all. The salsa here was initially what caught my attention. The perfect combination of heat and flavor. I think I've written like 3 reviews in the last 10 years. But this one is the most worth it. People who haven't partaken in Cali Fresh are missing out. UPDATE: 12 hours later and enjoying the leftovers. I can say without a doubt this is the most delicious food I've consumed all year. With their ridiculously low prices and top notch performance in the kitchen it's gonna be difficult to try other establishments for the foreseeable future.

The only thing I could critique is the chicken burrito that I had the first time I came was too wet, a bit more of squeezing the liquid out would have made it spot on. Thanks!

I've only gotten the potato tacos but their chips and salsa are tasty and on occasion that I've been there with someone else; the entrees my friends have gotten were delicious as well. I need more people to go to this place, because I will be devastated if they close.

The food was not as flavorful as it is just salty. The pros is the prices are decent and service is friendly and fast. Fish was not fresh in my taco and waaaay over fried. Salsa was a bit watered down for my taste for the same price you're 10 times better just going to the taco stand
