Great customer service! They served up my Chile Verde burrito really fast even with a family and 2 orders ahead of me. The food was piping hot, but delicious! A couple Tamarind Jarritos to wash it down. They are a wonderfully simple and fast experience.

I been ordering from here nonstop after my first bite. From quesadillas to beef burritos, this place is amazingly tasteful. One of the best mom n pop Mexican spots in San Diego. When I first when to the storefront, parking was dreadful. That’s how you know the food bout to smack. I wish I added a photo in this review but it’s so damn good you forget to snap one before you crush it. Definitely gotta give these guys a try.

Delish. We just found it randomly then the next day aunt Lindsay referred us to it. So we got California burritos the first time, then I got the Al pastor and camarón tacos: AMAZING. Burrito was great, tacos were better. Even if there is a line, wait, it’s worth it.

Was at Sharp Mary Birch for my son’s delivery and needed some fresh air so I took a 15 minute walk over here. Ordered a California burrito and was not disappointed. It was not stuffed with cheap French fries, but had the perfect combo of carne asada, fries, guacamole and pico. Also, prices were very reasonable and food was ready quickly. Staff was very friendly. Only thing I’m mad about is I didn’t go back before we left! Highly recommend this place!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ California Burritos is absolutely the best! Fresh, soft tortillas, tasty meats, good beans, and flavorful salsa. The staff is always nice too. I really like the vegetarian burrito, the fish burrito, and the beef taco. Great deal on the rolled tacos, and the chicken soup is perfect when you’re not feeling well—big portion, with lots of veggies. Budget-friendly, open late, and easy to get to even though it’s tucked away in a little strip mall next to a 7-11. Definitely worth it!

Visited from Canada on a day trip to San Diego - this place hits the spot. Quiet little location with seating inside and outside, it was a nice day so I sat outside. My buttons were brought to me with sauces on a tray - I was honestly not expecting to have that service, really nice touch. The food - honestly is the best burrito I’ve had, ever. I specially wanted a California burrito (fries inside) and fell in love. Having returned home I still think about those burritos and have been telling everyone about my trip to come down and have a burrito from here

This was on my to-try list for some time and I’m happy to say it was worth the wait. Saus. break. burr. was excellent and that RED SAUCE… give me more! I’ll be back for a Cali. burr. soon. Stated that it was my first visit and the hand-off guy said, “I’ll be seeing you tomorrow!” He definitely would if it weren’t so far out of my area. Awesome staff, and good vibes.

If your ever in San Diego, you gotta go to California Burritos, super fast service, kind employees, and the food tasted fresh and delicious! They offer a variety of foods, and sauces, and you can dine outside under shaded area. Very good food! 5 stars!

I recently popped into the place for a California burrito and I’m happy I did. It was delicious and it hit the spot. They have great pricing on all their items and the portion was great. I really enjoyed their flour tortilla. I’d absolutely go back. Well worth checking them out if you’re in the area.

California Burritos is honestly a great spot for Mexican food. The customer service is excellent, and the food is always delicious. I ordered the carne asada fries, and they definitely don’t hold back on the portions. The place is small, so it’s perfect if you’re grabbing a bite by yourself or with a friend. It might not be the best option for large families, but it’s great for a casual, relaxing meal. It’s located near a 7-Eleven, and the area is quiet and peaceful. Overall, a solid place to enjoy some tasty food and good vibes.

I have been eating California Burritos since 1995, and this spot hits the mark. The cardne asada is juicy and is full of flavor. The flour tortillas they use are one of my favorite, and not to mention, the size of the Burrito is big enough to eat as two meals. We normally drive out of our way here to feed our shop.
