The location is spectacular and the view is breathtaking. I had lunch with my girlfriend for our anniversary and we both loved it. The dishes were cooked to perfection, high quality, and the portions were generous. The value for money, especially considering the location, was excellent. The staff was very professional, friendly, and helpful. I thank all the staff for the wonderful lunch.

I took the train up Monte Generoso: a pleasant and comfortable experience, which immediately contributed to a relaxing atmosphere. Once at the top, the view is simply breathtaking: the 360-degree panorama is truly breathtaking. Il Fiore di Pietra is a welcoming place, well-designed and perfectly integrated into the landscape. Inside, the atmosphere is refined and modern. I particularly appreciated the presence of both the restaurant and the buffet, which make it the ideal place for a break: whether for lunch, a snack, or simply a drink, the selection is varied and of good quality. The cakes are truly delicious! The staff was always courteous and helpful, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. Furthermore, I found everything very clean, which is not at all a given in such a popular establishment. In short, I highly recommend a visit: both for the natural beauty and the quality of the hospitality.

We celebrated our wedding at Monte Generoso in June. From the ceremony and aperitif on the terrace with a spectacular view, to the dinner at Fiore di Pietra, and the evening party, it was the most beautiful day! The Monte Generoso staff was fantastic in supporting the wedding preparations and ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the day. Everyone was very helpful; we received many compliments on the food, and the location and view were obviously beautiful. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to celebrate a wedding or organize any other type of event.

The building 🏢 has a unique form, designed by architect Mario Botta in 2018, is directly located at the rack railway. We had lunch with a group of colleagues, at the self-service restaurant 🍴 The staff was friendly and helpful, the whole restaurant looked modern and cosy, with big windows to enjoy the panoramic view 🌄 Highly recommended 👍🏽 😀

The best meal of our stay in the Lucano Region..!!-(which included a less -than -memorable,disappointing experience in a Michelin-Star Establishment). This food was far superior to any other experience during out stay;the young Waitress and Manager were delightful...and,of course,the view was perfect. A marvellous-unexpected-surprise to find such quality on the top of a mountain.... !

What a wonderful day my wife and I had at Fiore di pietra. We live back in the states in California and are already in the talks of planning a trip to come back purely because of our experience here. Beautiful architecture, location and great food. It makes for a perfect day out, a walk to the top is rewarded with the stunning views and delicious food, the service is excellent as well. Highly recommended, a gem of our local Alps.
