Recensioni di Live Sushi Bar San Francisco
I always have a wonderful experience at this sushi place! The food is always incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor every roll I’ve tried has been delicious and clearly made with care. Honestly, whenever I’m craving sushi, this is my favorite place to go and enjoy a great meal. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxing dining experience. What really makes this place stand out is the service. Our server, Angel, was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire visit. She made us feel truly welcomed. Great food, amazing service, and a wonderful overall vibe I will definitely keep coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi!
Well-priced Japanese neighborhood outpost sitting at the foot of Potrero Hill. A well-organized delivery option, but with a dining room fitting for a casual date or family dinner. Sushi and rolls, solid. Choice of noodle (udon, ramen or soba) with Nabeyaki broth, excellent; the shrimp tempura an added plus. A great option where both the sushi bar and kitchen pull their weight in delivering quality Japanese.
Our go to neighborhood sushi place. Never have issues getting a table and love getting one of their sushi platters to share. The seasonal upgrades are available for an upcharge but found it to be worth for an occasional splurge
Excellent Dragon Roll and tea just wished the tea had an option of sugar or honey. Wonderful customer service! Our waitress was fabulous!! She went above and beyond. The other sushi (either California Roll or Crunchy Roll) and the veggies in the tempura were just okay. The shrimp tempura was so good though!
Really enjoyed the chirashi and the omakase box special. Fish was very fresh and the omakase was very unique. We enjoyed all of it very much. The staff was nice despite an initial period of confusion about how long the wait was or whether we could even get a table. But once we were seated the staff were great. Atmosphere is cute. Looks somewhat updated, not a huge fan of loud music in any restaurant. So if you're looking for a quiet dinner out then you might want to go elsewhere, but the food alone is worth it. We were curious about the noodle soups, and I like to go back for that. Even though this is a sushi place, the soups that other people ordered looked promising.
After picking up my auntie at the airport she was hungry so, my son searched for a sushi place, this sushi bar had very good reviews and it didn't disappointed. We tried several rolls and we liked them, the service was excellent. Would definitely come back on another visit to Sn. Fco.
Went here with my hubby since it was a beautiful day and we were suddenly craving for sushi. Tried this and loved it! The food was delicious and the service was very nice. Came in with hungry stomachs and left with very happy and full ones! Will definitely recommend and be back! Here were some of the things we had!
A fantastic option for sushi delivery! Started out with a beautiful poke salad and some simple but well executed rolls. The fried crab was still crispy and delicious. The ribs were perfectly cooked and still tender. The highlight was the hamachi kama. A big beautiful piece of fish done really well. Price wise, it’s what to be expected but worth it. Two sushi’s up 🍣🍣
This is our neighborhood sushi joint. There’s always easy parking, the space is nice, and the food is a good value for high quality. Yesterday, service was a bit slow as it seemed like the staff was taking lunch breaks, but it wasn’t a big deal. California roll in the lunch box was lacking in filling, but I don’t think this has usually been the case. Will keep going back!
This is your reliable hole in the wall sushi spot. The food was good, fresh and satisfying, but nothing mind blowing or wildly different, though it definitely hit the spot and satisfied my sushi cravings. Many diners also praise the fresh fish and beautiful presentation, especially sashimi and special rolls, and note the friendly, attentive service and chill vibe. Some classic rolls can be average, but overall it’s a solid choice for dependable sushi.
I really like the food and vibe here! Great quality fish and delicious rolls. I've been coming here for years. Unfortunately I'm always disappointed by how long it takes to get our order.
The actual fish quality is great but the service is not. Both times we’ve gone to Live sushi bar, no one was in the dining room when we arrived. The sushi bar staff made eye contact but said nothing. 1. Ordered grilled yaki. They were out 2. Ordered Mirugai off their special and told “it’s out of season” after they took our order. 3. Hand rolls were delivered with soggy seaweed. Delivered without finger and wasabi 4. Ordered sparkling water and never received This last visit was in a Sunday afternoon with 3 tables seated and two servers working.
Came here with my wife for dinner tonight (9/16/23) and the fish gave me food poisoning 🤮. Food tasted very average. Kitchen took a long time to prep the food and there was something wrong with the fish. We ordered the sashimi for 2, oysters, and 2 hand rolls. I’ve been sick in the bathroom for the entire evening since I came home from Live Sushi Bar (it’s now 1:30am as I write this review). The service was very good which is why I gave 2 stars. The servers were very attentive and friendly. I really wanted to like this place because it had good reviews. I won’t be coming back and I would not recommend this place unless you enjoy puking your guts out 🤢.
Tried here after reading good reviews. I was really disappointed. We ordered karaage, gyoza and two rolls and 2 different nigiris. Karaage was okay (not Japanese style) and gyoza was underwhelming. Two rolls were also okay not great. Nigiri was good but should be good for the price. The service was really slow and not attentive. I won’t come back.
Crunchy tuna roll is actually an orange mushy roll that looks nothing like tuna. Totally ewww and yucky.
