Bang for your buck chinese restaurant. Nothing fancy about this place but the food is delicious. I tried they're bbq pork wonton noodle soup had a lot of bbq pork in it. The serving was enough for two . Also tried they're roast pork and it very crispy and meaty . Must come back to try the rest of they're menu .
Great value! A regular stop while going through that part of SF on my way through. Very friendly staff and good Chinese food. Super fast, fresh veggies and lean meats. House soup and tea included with an in house order.
legit bbq pork - perfect for cha siu bao. Pork belly with crispy skin was a RICH treat. fast and friendly staff. cash preferred or $20 min.
Really loved their eggplant dish - eggplant with garlic sauce, I believe. I liked the rice plates (duck & BBQ pork) but wished for more vegetables and less rice
Get the roast duck. Went here for lunch, super delicious, authentic, everyone was friendly. Big portions and great price. Most of all that duck was to die for
Food is very good! Duck is one of the best and a must have!
Best duck I ever had and there bbq pork if my favorite also the pork fried rice is get and portions are 2 meals worth
This is an authentic hole-in-the-wall experience. Generous portions. Classic recipes. The wings are addictive. Friendly people. Modest prices.
Absolutely well worth it.. great fresh, well cooked rice, seafood, pork, veggies; And stellar service! Making it a regular go to. Thanks!
Ming Hing is a great place to get some Chinese BBQ. What surprised me was the quality of their rice rolls. The owner mentioned that they grind their own rice to make them in house and it did have that fresh bouncy texture. Would definitely be visiting again soon to get more rice rolls.
First time try their new food it was very good and the price is right, love the taste and texture of the food I did not expect how tasty it is overall I enjoyed the food a lot, I got pork chop and Mongolian beef over rice. Best time to get fresh food is in the morning their Chinese is so good just like chef li restaurant
This is a great place to eat at . One of the best Chinese restaurants In San Francisco. The food I had delivered to my residence was excellent. The roast duck was nice and tender with a bit of a twang. The beef chowing was excellent too. I may order from there again sometime and encourage others to try this place. I give them 5 stars
Outstanding Chinese hole in the wall. Exceptional roast duck and roast pork. Great crispy skin and huge portions. Also ordered the house special pan fried noodles. It was as good as any Chinese restaurant in the city. We have enough food for another two days! Service was fine and decor was typical for a hole in the wall restaurant.
Authentic, delicious Chinese food for cheap prices. I’m very picky about my Chinese food and have tried tons of highly rated Chinese restaurants in SF and NY. This is definitely in my top 3. With 30 dollars, I was able to get a chang fen, a beef noodle, and a duck noodle. What a steal! The portions were so generous that we had enough leftovers for another meal. The bbq suck was cooked perfectly. The beef noodles had a lot of wok hei. The chang fen was smooth and tender. Everything was much better than what I tied in Chinatown SF. Highly recommend if you crave Chinese food in SF.
Ordered roast duck with wonton noodle soup for the first time here. Very generous portion. Although I am a big eater, I struggled to finish all. More than enough to share for two. Both items came to USD 12 which I think very reasonably priced. Most importantly the flavoring on both dishes were just right. Not overly salty or laden with MSG as in most Chinese restaurants. Both mom and pop owners were very friendly too. Also served me complimentary hot herbal soup as I sat down knowing than I walked in from cold weather.
Loved their food and decent service. The lady server is friendly as always. The roast pork is my favourite!
Great duck and bbq pork! This is a no frills place so don’t expect a fancy restaurant but the folks who work here are fabulous, friendly and the food is always amazing.

I come here to eat every week. It's delicious and inexpensive. In general I spend $14 for my lunch 雙拼! I love the roast chicken with ginger sauce and the roasted duck is also great! 😇 🙏
First time try their roasted duck and pork! The skin are super crunchy and the taste is perfect. Me and my family love it so much. Will definitely come back again for it, and try their other dishes. Will become my second kitchen for quick and easy choices.
The food here is amazing. Everything from the roast pork to congee was authentic and high quality. I will definitely become a regular customer here!

Get over the looks, this place have great food. I love to dine in than to-go. They have a special pick 3 dishes w/rice and soup for $24 or something rather. Its a lot of food but excellent selection. To die for : honey BBQ Pork ribs ( ribs glazed with honey sauce HEAVEN) and the Beef stew w vegetables Yum
Best roasted pork I ever ate. Water and tea are bad, you can taste distilled water. Customer service avg. I would come back for the roasted pig. One of the best.
The food was tasty and was cooked to perfection. A great place to dine during special occasions. There wasn't a long wait for seating and the employees were kind. I recommend the kung poa chicken, its an absolute must have!
Have been coming here for a while. The food is about 6/10. I like the roast duck because it is cheaper than other stores and taste very good. Other foods are just so so in my opinion.
This is a neighborhood place with no frills. This would be considered a hole in the wall to most people. Experience some good food at a very reasonable price. Just don't expect a super clean restroom or table cloth.
The food was good & portion was big. Because it's a busy time for them for BBQ items due to Chinese New Year, service was not there.
Old school Cantonese restaurant, great bbq pork (叉燒). Plus, you will get a bowl of soup for free. Great place, will definitely visit again.
I live nearby, the owner is nice , she provide daily soup for us,yummy chinese soup. this is 1 of the goid point for me to enjoy meal there. hahahahaha.
Reasonably priced Chinese food with good portions. Staff is more friendly than many other Chinese places. Roast duck is cheap, $16 as of 2018/10/26. Bought to try for next day's dinner, which inevitably will bring down the experience, but I'll be back to edit the review.
It's one of those places that if you didn't know about the place, you'd easily miss it. It kinda blends in so well in the ethnic Chinese neighborhood, so nondescript, that they're nothing that sets it apart from the rest of the shops around there. The food is good, cheap and fast. Those are good criteria to have for a food joint. Enjoy the pictures with this review as they's say more than I can ever type.
Duck meat was tender. Roasted pork was crispy. Lots of rice and noodle options. The Wonton soup was mild taste. Baby Cabbage was a lot.
Small bbq shop with seat in available in San Bruno. It is a small restaurant, and I consider clean and not oily like other bbq places. We had lunch and ordered 2 item bbq combinations with soy sauce chicken and roast duck with veggie and rice. We also ordered bbq pork rice roll and a thousand egg and pork porridge. Side order of chinese donut. All are yummy. A minimum of $30 if you want to pay with a credit card. Price is considered very reasonable. Parking could be a challenge in this area.
This time of year, it seems like everyone is traveling to Hawaii. Nothing like having a "plate lunch" filled with galbi, loco moco, char siu or garlic shrimp w/Mac salad and rice while sitting by the waves and water. For me in SF, my "plate lunch" consists of roast pork and roast duck over rice ($12). This can be eaten anywhere including inside the Roast pork- crunchy skin and good pork belly meat Roast duck- tasty and succulent Didn't eat in but looked like lots of people dining inside and workers were trying to figure out how it works here. Ming Hing has new owners and a new paint job. I'll be back to check out their other offerings soon. Parking is very difficult
Updated review 7/7/2022: Wing Hing is gone. Now it is Ming Hing. New people are working here with their fancy computer ordering system. Unfortunately, the restaurant was empty with a small line for BBQ items. My braised beef brisket wonton noodles $13 was OK. They actually separated the soup from the noodles and beef. Wow. I hope the old store owner lady from Wing Hing retired. They stayed opened for take-out when most of the Chinese restaurants in San Francisco were closed during the lock down in 2020. It helped me and the community a lot. As a single guy who doesn't cook, I might have starved. Their BBQ pork over rice, chow fun, crispy noodles and porridge were some of my favorites. The chef at Ming Hing was good. I asked the new staff if they knew what happened to the old owner and they didn't know. Indoor dining tonight 3/11/2021. My original plan was to eat at J P Cafe next door at 2546 San Bruno Cafe for their Hong Kong style Cantonese baked pork chop spaghetti. Unfortunately, J P Cafe/2546 San Bruno Cafe have been closed for the last month. The good news was, I was able to enjoy a Hong Kong style tomato beef crispy noodles $11 at Wing Hing instead. The noodles came out fast. Hardly anyone was dining indoors and I felt safe. This place is kinda of dingy so don't expect new chairs or table here. I can't wait to try other dishes. Good job Wing Hing. Dinner plans were saved because you were opened for indoor dining.

I really enjoyed the steamed chicken , tender and moisture with ginger scallion sauce , good portion rice plate.. and side of steamed cabbage . Service is okay. Atmosphere is noisy as take out customers are loud when placing orders .. Tables are a little greasy .

Affordable, no frills Chinese restaurant. Service is quick and typical of a Chinese place. One of the better locations for roast pig and duck if you're in the area. Great for to-go orders
They speak very good english. Accepts credit card if you spend at least $30. I usually get the bbq pork and the $25 white boiled chicken. I don’t recommend the soy milk drink. The consistency is watered down thin and has a weird aftertaste. If you want fresh soy milk, I recommend Lam Hoa Thuan Restaurant on Irving Street.

Went at busy time, Friday 6pm. My friend pushed through takeout line to find a seat. We both ordered $10.99 tomatoe beef w rice. Staff were extremely busy w take-out orders, but waitress took our orders. Food came hot, fresh w possibly not much beef, but at that price it was acceptable w vegies & ton of rice.

I was there on last Saturday the 14th . I ordered chow fun and seafood pan fry noodles. The foods was very horrible. The chow fun was very white and had no taste at all. And the pan fry noodles’s gravy was sooooo white and no taste at all .
I tried to order stir fried veggies with shrimp and steamed rice but the lady didn't speak English. She should have brought out the English speaker I saw while waiting. They didn't seem to have shrimp. Again while waiting I saw they had shrimp with tender vegetables. I ended up getting a mountain of fried rice with very few vegetables. Surely they have steamed rice too!
sad to say that it looks much better than it tastes
Even some common dish, shrimp chow mein , the shrimp s were cooked _ dry and chewy, very bad, I strongly doubt any other dishes will be good
The worst Chinese food I ever had. Hit a s sour soup is tasteless and had a weird smell. Eggplant garlic was not garlicky, show menu - blant and flavourless. Greasy. Some things oversalted some not salted at all. Sweet and sour prawns batter is wet and weird.

the restaurant have no integrity and not conscientiousness as the restaurant. The story begins the day before ,I order a soy sauce chicken. By the time I got home at 8:30pm. I realized that they give me a wrong order. Next day I went back to the store to expense what happen. They know that they were give me the wrong order yesterday. So they agreed to give me a new order. what Unbelievable is they also required me to pay for the wrong order that I they give me yesterday. It’s your mistake that give me the wrong order and it cost me money and time to come back to get the correct one. As a restaurant, it’s your responsibility to make sure your guest gets the right order, when you make a mistake to give out the wrong order, you should be the one who take the loss.
Respect for people is part of quality. If you say you will deliver your order in two minutes but cannot deliver it even after 25 minutes, it means there is a problem with your business ethics.
Food was uncooked , literally I found a dead rat inside of my food . Saw they are kitchen idk how they even letting this guys still keep open and poison to peoples
A family placed an order, but I was in town early so I decide to come and pick up the order before the time. Unfortunately I wanst rushing them or anything but the food was a disappointment. No recommendation for party tray purposes.
Force customers to use services like Zelle when purchasing with credit card. I would rather not being a customer than being forced to use unsecured services for purchases. Zelle has a history of data breaches, and even banks that carries them now suit them for fraud. There are many other pay services that are better than Zelle such as PayPal, Gpay, and Apple pay. I will never order from Ming Hing again that's all. The food is just okay. Stay away from their Singapore rice noodles and beef chow fun, their taste is bland and dry, their won ton and dumplings are from those frozen packaged food probably from China. They're pork won tons and dumplings. I'll stay away from them. Their attitude is they are better than others. The fact is there are many other Chinese BBQ restaurants or Cafe even on the same street.
Once I ate through the sweet & sour chicken, it was like sinking your teeth into lard. Place is not clean. Eggrolls were bland and tasted like grease.
