When I step into pops, it’s always home for me. Never leave this place without a Bloody Mary or a Michelada. Always a guarantee good time here whether you start or end your day. This place will forever be a go to bar for me.

These guys are really calm and laid back. The place is big and has a nicr vibe, photobooth, no pool table, but all kinds of variety, the guys are easily approachable. I just turned 21 and usually when I walk into a bar, bartenders look at me with a dirty look, but not here. Answered my questions, gave recommendations, asked for my ID when I ordered. Thanks Jay! I was having a bad day and you made it way better!

Awesome bar! The music is great more hip hop and radio stuff. I love the bartenders they are so nice and knowledgeable about the drinks and liquor. Great atmosphere. They have a photo booth.

A true San Francisco vibe dive bar. The African American doorman on Friday and Saturday nights is the coolest you will find in SF. Drinks are good and inexpensive. Great place for a drink and chill out

Great environment, loved the big booth table in the back which was great for a bigger group. Fun photo booth that had pretty quick prints, DJ was there in the later evening playing good tunes on a cute dance floor. Great time at Pops, will definitely be frequenting more!

Simple dive bar, small area for dancing (presumably), Good cocktails, and intriguing decorations all come together to create the perfect atmosphere for a casual hang or regular haunt. A couple TVs keep locals engaged on the big games but leave the back of the bar undisturbed for private conversations away from bright screens. A bartender that can make a good negroni is a rare find as well. Could be a lot cheaper, especially for the area, but the prices weren't offensive (2 rounds for 2 people for $50 with tip). No food that I was aware of, so couldn't rate that.

Old school neighborhood bar. I thought this place was amazing. The barmaid was beautiful and very helpful with knowledge of S.F. I will be back !!

For no reason, I was ignored and not served. The female bartender looked me in the eyes, twice, and I was still ignored!!Being completely sober and suddenly in a bad mood, I got up and left. I’m obviously gay and I can’t help but wonder if that was an issue

Went in today for a drink the place looks cool and felt like a vibe… WRONG! The bar tender was so busy chatting about quartz rocks he couldn’t even acknowledge me. How hard is it to say hi or welcome … be with you in a minute. After some time passed still sitting at the quiet bar (3 other guests in the whole place) he continues to ignore me talking about rocks. So I packed up and left, called the group of friends for a location change. This place is not worth ya time they won’t even acknowledge you. Spend your money elsewhere. Sorry, I wanted to like this place, but old mate working with long hair and million chains around his neck might want to focus on your guest over personal conversations. Super disappointed
