I had breakfast for dinner and it was outstanding. Out waitress brought us our food quickly so it was nice and warm no cold spots. I was totally impressed with San Jacintos Dennys restaurant! The best I've had in a long time.

Loved the food. My son and I delicately picked away and enjoyed every bite. What we enjoyed most was the service provider by our server Nessa. She was polite, giddy, precise and so smiley.

Had the best experience here at this place. Tina our waitress really went above and beyond to make us happy. She is the absolute best waitress hands down!!!

Really great service. I first came in on Wednesday for a meeting and after the great service that was provided I decided to come back today with my wife. First off Tina was amazing. My grandmother had trouble ordering since her main language is Spanish. Tina was absolutely amazing and reassured my grandmother everything was okay and took her order in Spanish. She’s amazing and extremely wonderful customer service!!

I know most people will not go to a Denny’s and say that it’s the best food they have ever eaten but this Denny’s food is always consistent and you know what you’re going to get. What makes this Denny’s great is Matthew and Vanessa. They are great servers, very attentive and just all around great people. Even when things are super busy, they’re still able to serve your needs and provide great service. Great staff and experience here.

Our server was Matthew at the San jacinto location. He was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Not to mention the food was delicious. Had the all you can eat pancakes for $5.99 which is a great value with how high prices are. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. I would recommend this location and our server to anyone looking for a great meal.

Wow wow wow!! Best Denny's in over 20 years!! Food came out fast. EVERYTHING is delicious from the appetizer sample to the the crepe combo. Even the mango smoothie was better amazing ! Management hired the right staff members as you can tell they all take pride in their work. Our server Matthew was excellent. Fast, friendly, and attentive. I cant wait to go back!!

My wife and I enjoy going to our Denny's in San Jacinto, CA since it had opened. We always receive great service and good food as well. Every waitress we have had is friendly and polite. Our recent visit with our waitress Emily just proves why we like visiting this location. Great service and food at every visit every time.

This is my go to location for Dennys franchise breakfast. I have visted quite a few locations when I'm traveling but nothing beats this one. I find myself telling my husband lets just wait until we get to this location to make the stop(even if there is a closer one to us at the time). The staff here is the most friendly. My family and I go here quite often for breakfast. Even when the business gets busy a manager, helps out! I appreciate the service and staff for the environment they cultivate for the customers. So, I go to this Dennys usually on Friday and Saturday because they stay open until 12am... they close early (@10) during the week. The customer service there is outstanding! Matthew is great and the young lady that takes my order sometimes is amazingly nice as well. (I hate that I can't remember her name)... anyways.. they are very efficient, they always make my food EXACTLY how I order it, rather over the phone or in person. The wait time is swift, 15-20min which is normal and this has been my experience every time I've been there. I appreciate genuine, good ole fashioned customer service. You don't get that nowadays like you used to. Very appreciative!

Had such a good experience today. When we got there, there were quite a few people in line waiting to pay (a line of college girls all paying separately)and several people waiting to be seated. I wish I would have gotten the hostess name but didn't. She's blonde amd wears glasses. She handled everything like a true pro. She was efficient, had a great attitude and was quick. She wasn't stressed about the crowd and handled everything that was going on with ease. We were seated within 10 minutes and were warmly greeted by Natalie. This young lady was so welcoming and has the best smile! I see so many people who really look like they just hate their jobs, so to see someone genuinely smile and make you feel welcome, is so nice. She was attentive and kind throughout our time in the restaurant and the food was really good. We went to a different location a couple of weeks ago and had the worst experience from beginning to end. Bad service and bad food, so we will be going to this Denny's from now on.

10/10 Experience! Went there Sunday and I go almost every other weekend but this time I had the best server, I believe her name was Tina? She was extremely attentive and very kind! Thanks to her I might be there every week just to receive her service! Never had to ask her to refill my coffee, she was there before I even finished it. We went to have breakfast the first day they were allowed to open. We were early birds about 8:30a.m. We felt very safe. Every other booth was blocked off. The condiments were served in these small plastic containers. We understood why. I hope they figure out a less expensive way to provide them, but we were quite happy they did what they had to do to open. And I commend them for that. During the shutdown, this Dennys sold their famous Dennys coffee cups filled with either a bag of fresh ground coffee or filled with chocolate. I of course bought 2 with chocolate. This place also took to social media to get the word out. This manager (I wish I would have asked his name) should be commended for everything he did to keep that place viable. Thank you.

This is one of the best places to eat in town! Definitely the best Denny's I have ever eaten at and I have eaten at a few! It is always clean, warm and the manager Lonni is awesome very attentive, very friendly and treats every guest like family! I had steak 😋 so tender and mouth watering. My partner had haddock ( some fish) She said was excellent (we'll have to take her word on that). Price was less than Applebee's and a little bit more than you pay for Jack in the Box these days but way better food and you might have left overs. They are open 24 hrs that's nice on club nights🌃 Definitely good for the fam 👍 kids eat free on certain days. Would recommend. Make sure to tip them well they actually earn there tips!

Nice Denny's to eat in. Service was great. My only gripe was that there were several flies inside the restaurant. We kept fanning our hands to keep the flies away as much as we could. The flies were flying extremely close to our food, were not afraid of us, and one actually landed on my food. I was too irritated to say anything, so I just stopped eating and left with my group.

I RECOMMEND this Denny's restaurant. I'm giving them a 4star review because a few menu items weren't available. But now thinking 🤔 about it now a lotta places have been too. Do to delivery delays. I think staffing might be a little of an issues as well do to seeing they are only using half of the dinning room. So to say it made for a Little bit of a wait. OVERALL FOOD WAS GREAT 👍 AS WELL AS WAS The SERVICE .

Service was great. The food is decent amount for the price. The only thing was my eggs where over easy, and I asked for over medium. But for some reason in this Valley, no matter where you eat they can't make my eggs right.

Went in late at night and was not disappointed by the staff there. One of the waiters his name was Edgar he was very helpful and make sure to accommodate me and the group i was with. My only complaint was a little bit of waiting but that was due to the fact that he was the only server there. The management really needs to get more servers at night but other then that it was a great time.

This is a Westwood staple, and I went came in for their cinnamon pancakes which were Superior. The Taste was excellent and being one of the smaller Denny's I've been to the dining experience was a little more intimate and as a result more pleasant. The staff is very friendly and they do their best considering the crowd that is often here.

The food was good but the service was a $7 tip. I used to love coming to this location but now it feels like I’m being judged as soon as I walk in. I now base my tips off; how many times you checked on me, did I get extra napkins without asking, were you nice to my kids, and how did you treat everyone around me. Service was prompt, food came exactly as ordered. The atmosphere at this location is nice and calm. Visited again 5/7... food was good, but with as much down time they really need to clean the plexiglass. I stared at greasy handprints the whole time. I turned around and in addition to handprints, the one behind me was attacked by crayon weilding child 🥴

A REALLY SOLID DENNY'S! The food is always tasting great here (although the hash browns could be better). I'm impressed that despite the business of this franchise its service is quite quick. Some of the staff is a little sour but I've never had a rude experience. Also, it's great for midweek visits if you're a college student that attends MSJC down the street. It's pretty quiet except for the weekends, obviously it's pretty packed with families and seniors! I'd recommend the pancakes and burgers, they never disappoint. If you're in the mood for eggs, get an omelette! The location is handicap accessible and great for small or large groups. My main gripe is that this Denny's is NOT a 24/7 location. It should be!

First visit! food arrived to the table overcook, the presentation of the food looked good. However, the taste was horrible I ordered an omelet and my hubby had a double burger both were burned. Was not busy yet the service was very slow! I mean really slow! I ordered a raspberry iced tea and when the server came with it there were multiple teams on the plate. She proceeded to smell them to see which one had raspberry. She said she could tell by smelling which one was. Unfortunately she did not get it right. The wait is always so. So. Long. Every time I've come here it's been at least 45 minutes from ordering till food is served. Which doesn't sound bad, until you realize you're one of maybe four tables in the restaurant.

The wait was longer than I thought it should have been, and our orders were not complicated. Just some breakfast, no mods. The food was ok not amazing but good. The server was nice and brought us refills before we had to ask, which was nice. I would still go back.

Overall, ok. Denny's used to be better years ago. Now, it seems all thenones I've visited in the past 10 years or so have dropped in overall quality & taste. The service has always been hit & miss. The service was good but not great this last visit.

Came in on a Tuesday at 1:00PM, unfortunately the place is severely understaffed, overheard a waiter saying there’s only 1 server. The diner was packed with customers. Rough to see. We had to wait almost one hour to get our food. We were told our order slip came out blurry, hence the 45 mins with no food, but I’m not completely on board about that to being the reason for the 45 min wait with no food to be honest. After the correction of the alleged blurry order slip, it has been about an hour since we placed our order with no food yet. Not the server’s fault, but I can’t deny that it was a bitter experience for pretty much everyone. Hopefully management here is actively looking at the job applications they get in.

First visit to this location post-covid and the food was unpalatable. Wife and I are not picky really, several items were definitely "off". Service was good however. Waitress, Mayra, was sweet, attentive and apologetic. Poor thing was seating people and running tables alone and running ragged. Manager was understanding and didn't charge for my steak. We left 20 on the table for Mayra. Btw, the food IS different now, their recipes have changed, not sure if it's a supply chain issue or health mandated from corporate. Mayra and the manager confirmed certain seasonings aren't used anymore, so your grand slam may not be the same. Either way, Denny's is a reliable staple and we'll be back. 3 stars seemed fair as the food was almost totally inedible, even though the service was at/above par.

Food was cold when I told the waiter she went and warmed it up in the microwave. Wish I would've had a better experience but unfortunately that didn't happen. I usually don't leave reviews but this is the second time it I have been to this location and both experiences were bad.

If I could give negative stars I would. I gave them a second chance because it's been a while I figured their poor service and poor food quality would be fixed by now but I guess a privately owned franchise doesn't feel like they have to maintain standards. Once again onion bits from the cooking area all over my pancakes (gross, nobody wants onion pancakes) and raw spot in my husband's blueberry pancakes. They didn't make it right last time and I hold little hope of them making it right this time. Will not be returning.

Waited for an hour and were never seated, ended up leaving to another restaurant. As soon as my order was coming out, I get the call from Dennys that my table is ready! Seriously? With Covid I get the restrictions but at the time I walked in only 2 families were seated. I went there at 3pm. Had the "chicken fried steak with broccoli and fried potatoes." 3 hrs later got sick with vomiting and diarrhea. That was the only food I ate that day except for a bowl of cereal at 10am. My husband and I eat there regularly. Great customer service from the waitresses. Wow! I've been to several Dennys throughout southern California and I gotta say this one is by far the worst service I've received from this chain of restaurants. The confusion of their staff was horrible wrong food, twice!! Took very long and our overall experience was unpleasant. My husband had to walk into the kitchen to ask for another cup of coffee. This denny’s is honestly disgusting and disappointing. The way they handle their customers baffle me, before we got there. There was 3 group ahead of us and they told us they’ve been waiting for an hour or so. I’ve seen there’s an open table and most of the servers were just hanging around. One of the ladies complained to the servers and the server just gave her straight attitude and rolled her eyes. Even one of our groups told them what they’re doing wrong for criticism in the nicest way possible, the lady just said. “okay,” and rolled her eyes too. We were sitter after waiting 10 mins since we had a baby. They ignored us throughout our stay, we even asked for sauce with another server. He just ignored us. Save a trip and hassle by avoiding this place. It’s horrendous.

Never, ever going back to Denny's again. I made a huge mistake suggesting to my son to go have breakfast here instead of the usual place we go to when I visit him and my granddog. Their pictures showed they have patio sitting. When we got there, we found out they don't, so we decided to take the food to the park. We have our dog with us. I ordered the Grand Slam. "Well done eggs, well done bacon, well done hashbrowns, and toast on the side, please add two creamers on the side for my coffee. " I DID SAY: I'll have the pancakes, and my son will have the toast. I was told it would take 15 minutes. For take out? Ok, so the place was packed, and their waiting area is small, and you can hardly walk in. 15 minutes later, I ask for our food. Oh, it'll take another 5 minutes, I'm told... More than 25 minutes later, I get the food and head out to the park only to find out: THERE'S NO TOAST! THE EGGS ARE MUCUSY THE BACONN IS FLABBY VERY SMALL PORTION OF HASHBROWNS THAT ARE SORT OF COOKED THERE'S NO NAPKINS AND THERE'S A DOZEN CREAMERS. So our dog ate the eggs, I had to get paper towels from my car, and we bothe were superbly annoyed. I regret my suggestion so much. We used to go to breakfast very often. And for sure, as I said, NEVER AGAIN would any of us would even consider Denny's! Not even if it was free.

Not worth the time spent here waiting for the food. Ordered a double burger with onion rings the plate came with two small onion rings and three normal size onion rings definitely not worth the up charge i will not be back to a restaurant that doesn't offer enough food for the money paid.

This Denny's is quite a disappointment! Our server Nancy was not helpful at all. She needs better customer service training. Has no knowledge what's so ever. Went for a quick dinner for a birthday celebration and she ruined it! Then she charged us the "free birthday meal" and was unable to refund or credit because the manager was not there. Oh and who serves appetizers after the meal? Just a bad visit overall. Just hope I'm able to get refunded when I call in the morning.

I drive by this place almost every I was under the impression it was shut down. Three cars parked in front I went into the restaurant homeless people in front of the entrance and around the restaurant. I ordered the cobb salad and I found out I had to pay extra for a protein chicken meet or bacon I believe when you sell a Cobb salad it's supposed to come with some source of protein. I was served quickly the waitress or server only came around one time. This Denny's is hiding for a reason make a better choice and go somewhere else

Food is usually good, but the service seems to be going down. We were there yesterday at one in San Jacinto. We waited almost an hour and the food never came. We couldn't wait any longer and ended up walking out. Looks like they kept taking online or phone orders and those orders were given priority. Shouldn't it be first come first served??? Doesn't make sense. Probably not going back.

I think this Dennys closes at 10:30 p.m. me and my son went tonight and they were closed. There were still people being served but the doors were locked. Sure wish I could of tried the bourbon bacon burger and all my son wanted was a kids plate. =(

The service here is slow and Im with a small party of three we’re the only ones in here !!!!! And the waiter had the audacity to bring a watered down lemonade out !

The service was awfull. We went to two different locations and the service was awfull. We were the 2nd customers in the restaurant and waited 45 minutes to be asked for drinks. Then another 30 minutes to get them. We were ready to order and they asked us to wait for the server to take our order. This happened at both locations. One in Hemet and one in San Jacinto. We ended up getting up and out at both locations. Will not go to Dennys again.

Worst Denny’s restaurant. I placed an order of a chicken skillet and a large strawberry shake. 55 minutes waiting. And when a got my food my shake looks half empty a only wip cream. Never going to this place ever 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Went for a late dinner and had the grand slam which had tasteless cardboard bacon , uncooked hash browns, the eggs were cooked right. The only thing edible were the eggs, bad service , no drink refills since the waitress did a houdini and disappeared therefore never refilling our coffee and drinks. Then when my wife went to the ladies room she said all 3 toilets were so dirty that they all had black streaks which means they are never cleaned it takes a long time for black streaks to appear very dirty makes me wonder how clean their kitchen is. BEWARE THIS IS A VERY DIRTY DENNYS.

So I came in last night and ordered a double cheeseburger anyway I ate 1/4 and realized hey this is a single so they "remade" it and threw half of the burger back on to my premade burger people do not pay 12$ a burger for one that is unsanitary and just down right poor service I work in the food industry and my experience here was bad out of the 2 people in the restaurant we got little to no service

The worst 15 mins ni service no drink NOTHING!

Food is very substandard. Chicken fried steak was so thin that the breading on it was twice as thick as the steak. I scraped the steak, maybe hamburger meat, off of the breading, and it did not amount to much. Hashbrowns were greasy. Eggs were just ok. I will not waste your time explaining my wife's meal; just as substandard. The staff was working very hard, so we still tipped well for their service, not for the nasty food. Not the Denny"s we are used to.

This Denny's was Horrible not even worth a star the service was bad the food was not good we sent back all of the item except one meal which was the pot roast my husband had. The waiter claimed they didn't have a chef and the manager was cooking. She also yelled at another customer stating that it was only her and she had to wait or just leave... I am currently at home cooking.. so much for a quick bite while out running errands

Food cold bread soggy and staff not to friendly and didn't give me my full order. Not happy wife had a problem communicating with the waitress.

The service at this Denny’s was absolutely terrible. When we arrived, everyone was in the kitchen, and we were still waiting for 15 minutes. I’m not sure I’ll be returning to this location. The manager was taking orders but didn’t write them down, so she kept coming back and asking what we said while my sister and I waited for our food. I was surprised when the manager finally brought our food. I had ordered eggs on the side, but I only got pieces of eggs. That made me angry, but I didn’t want to cause any problems because I thought the manager might have gotten upset with other customers. She was rude while taking orders and speaking loudly about a rude customer who gave her the middle finger. I didn’t want to say anything because I didn’t want her to get angry and kick me out. I just wanted to eat and pay for the meal, which was terrible. I ordered two chicken sandwiches ranch, and they were salty. My sister ordered some chocolate pancakes, but they were way too sweet. We both agreed to leave and pay for our orders. My sister suggested we wait, but I told her she might not come back and ask stupid questions again. We went to the cash register, and the manager was in the kitchen again with her staff, complaining about what happened. Never again will I come back to this location it’s always the same with different managers and it seems like they will never change the way they work.

The waitress on duty (Rocio C) seemed like she hated her job and that energy was unnecessarily put on us as customers. When served a side of biscuits and gravy, it was served differently than I had ever been served before at this restaurant and it was cold. When I said something she talked back sarcastically to me and told me it’s supposed to be like that and I can go ask the cook about it myself. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Good restaurant chain usually, just have never had a server be so rude.

Absolutely worse Dennys iv walked into let alone ordered food from, the waitress was great, the manager here at this Dennys sounds drunk and extremely impatient with ppl, sure as hell has no business being a manager, order a burrito and a moon's cover hammy but wanted turkey for my sandwich it is a to go oreder, , received like 12 fries no turkey and a egg sandwich. But this is San Jacinto I guess things just dont change.

So decided to take myself out for my birthday meal since Denny's restaurant (in San jacinto, Ca) offers a free Build your own slam at all dennys restaurants. I arrived got seated, got my drink, ordered my meal then showed my ca ID stating it's my birthday for my free meal. She then tells me I can’t get the build your own slam meal when it clearly states on your website but points to another area of the menu oh thats wht you can have. Well im taking my business to someone who follows company policies. Thanks for making my 45 birthday terrible.
