Happy Donuts

It was nice, fast and clean. I went around 10pm at night and was craving a donut. I saw it was open 24 hours and headed over. There was a couple people in front of me however I barely waited. Got a donut and a Thai tea and left. It seemed nice and quiet. Definitely recommend!!!

This was the first time I had ever gone to this place, but I am glad l stop they made me a great bagel. l just told them if they can put egg white turkey slices tomatoes onion cheese avocado 🙂

The donuts are good a whole lot better than other donut places. Viet iced is good coffee, haven’t tried the there sandwiches but they look good. That one lady that works there does she need a husband?

Happy Donut has been a staple place for donuts in San Jose for a long time. My family and I have been going here for years, but it's been a while since I last visited and I was happy to find that the donuts are still delicious (and super fresh) as they always have been. They were also kind enough to throw in some extra donut holes. And you know it's a legit donut shop when it comes in a pink box! I've never had any issues with parking and am usually in and out cause that's just how fast they are.

Overall great atmosphere! Cashier is incredibly lenient and nice. Additionally, the pricing for the donuts is incredible - must try!

First time going, We definitely left happy! Great doughnuts and customer service! The crumble doughnut was delicious, 🤤 and the fresh maple was the best ever!!! The powdered doughnut was the perfect texture! We will definitely be returning

Good donuts. Building just looks old, tables & chairs are dated....but it was clean. The old fashioned are the best! Chocolate, maple 🍁 or glazed. Yum.

The donuts are decent service is horrific. Atmosphere will not recommend the only reason I stopped by there. Because I was dying to have a devil's food donut. That was the only reason why nothing happy about this place. In fact, you will not be very happy. Plenty of parking. However, be cautious. There's a lot of people that drive around this location. That should not be driving almost got hit 3 times while pulling out of the parking lot. Definitely people here should not drive they should walk. Come here if you're only. Your last resort

Came in during my route. Greeted the guy working (Hispanic/Filipino-looking, tattoos) — he couldn’t even bother to acknowledge me. Went to pay and instead of ringing me up, he ignored me to carry on a personal chat with another customer right in front of me. I stood there for a few seconds thinking, “Is this guy serious?” before just walking out. Zero professionalism, zero respect for customers.

It is so unfortunate to write a bad review for this business. I used to love coming here as all the staff has always been so kind. Now, I will never return back to give this shop any of my business. I walked in to what was a verbal war zone tonight from the employee (2/18/26). The man that was working behind the counter was going on a racially charged conversation about Muslims and cursing so loud. He talked about how he would love to be drafted to get rid of Muslims. He spoke about how Muslims don’t belong. He spoke badly about the Mayor of NY being Muslim. He spoke with so much hate, I could not bare one more minute. This man is a danger to the business and society. I do not typically give my energy to such negative type behavior. However this was one that I could not turn away from leaving a review. I am just so saddened and so disappointed by this experience. *I have partial video and a photo of the man*

We went in for some donuts late on Feb 18, 2026. The first thing the man working there said to us was to ask if we liked the mayor of New York. He then began complaining about the mayor being a socialist and how it was wrong that the mayor was advocating for healthcare for all and billionaires paying their fair share of taxes. He then started saying hateful things about Muslims and Islam. At that point we walked out without ordering and don't plan to return to a place that employs someone so hateful.
