I came in after they put up a sign saying they serve pho. I love pho and their 402 special pho was great. They not only served me the bowl of pho, but also a big ol' bone with some meat on it; how neat! I'm definitely coming back to try more of the seafood menu too.
Always enjoy delicious food here! Lobster rolls and crab po'boy are amazing! Lobstah poutine is also a favorite! I do not recommend the elote, not appealing.
I've been there 3 times, consistently good. Dressed lobster roll, fish n chips, and nachos are my favorite.
The Impossible burger was delicious! Lunch on the patio in the sun was extraordinary. The staff is kind and welcoming. I really like this place a lot.
Great seafood, large portions at bargain prices. The oysters are particularly good prepared many ways.
Stopped by while passing through town, service was quick, people were friendly, and the food was absolutely amazing especially the fish and chips. 👏🏼👏🏼 definitely will be back
What an awesome discovery! Went there Friday nite, went early w/friends because we were worried that being Friday it would be packed. Got right in..didnt know it was such a big place upstairs &downstairs, and also outdoor seating. It was happy hour till 7:00, so that was great. I had a dozen oysters on the half shell, $15. Oysters were fresh, clean &perfectly presented. Also had a fish taco, which was ample and delicious. Hubby had fish &chips..the fish was light & batter crisp, with 3 lg.pieces. Friends ordered the 3 sampler platter, plus the lobster sandwich..they gave their meals 5 stars also. The 4 of us all agreed that PIER 402 is a place we will return to and recommend to friends.
Fresh, tasty, generous portions. Clam chowder chock full of clams. Crispy, light batter on the fish and chips. Fish tacos with lime, sweet red peppers, mango, and cilantro. Also tried the side of grilled vegetables: rainbow carrots, purple cauliflower, and asparagus. Lots of menu items with Dungeness crab that will be fun to try once the season starts. It's great to have a place in the neighborhood serving something other than burgers or tacos.
Really good food, awesome Fish n Chips, not great service, though. This is more like a self-service experience. Don't expect to have a waiter or be waited on despite the $20 tip. 😅 However, I still recommend this place for the food. The neighborhood is sketchy. Maintain situational awareness.
Had the lobster roll and fish and chips with a friend for lunch. The roll was fresh, succulent and decent sized, reminding me of my days in Boston. (There is a large lobster tank right near the kitchen.) Two large beautiful fillets, battered and not oily, sat on a bed of crisp fries. Both accompanied by a very crunchy, tasty coleslaw. The Vietnamese coffee comes in a generous portion. Service by the owners, the Tran family, and their colleagues is warm, friendly and expeditious. Amibience is casual and fresh in a large shed building that also features a mezzanine that feels more private. Price point is fair for the fresh quality and decent portions. Look forward to coming back for dinner sometime to try the seafood iron skillet and clam bake that other patrons were sharing. Oyster varietals, both raw and cooked, also looked enticing. Tri tip, chicken and vegetarian options for non- seafood choices.
The food was amazing and flavorful. I cannot wait to go back.
A nice, casual atmosphere with lots of sosce. Food was good and quick service. They offer all types of seafood dishes -- fresh or fried. Good quality seafood and dishes overall. Happy hour 3-7pm m-f and all day Sunday.
If you want fish and chips they serve 3 huge batter fried fish, and plenty of fries. They also have non-fish food. I love the Tri-tip! The hot chicken sandwich is made with habanero pepper in the crispy coating and is definitely not for everyone.
The food was very good and they were good sized portions. The staff was not very friendly. They seemed annoyed that we were asking questions like “what would you recommend?” Especially because everything on the menu sounded good. Last the atmosphere was not what was expected for an eatery that had prices like that. Nonetheless, the food was great.
My first time coming to this restaurant was last week and I was not disappointed! The atmosphere is so nice, food was great and the service was good! I love getting coffee from Crema Coffee Roasting so it was really cool to order my food and drink at the same time. The owner was very clever to put these two businesses in the same location!
Dressed Lobster Roll: Soft but flavorful. Generous amounts of lobster, I was impressed Shrimp Sliders: Very flavorful, great combination of shrimp patty and greens Oysters: Fantastic. Not one disappointed in their lasting and strong flavor. The one small oyster was made up for with another large in our plate of six.
Not very intuitive for picking up take out, but excellent food overall. The fries are nice hot and crispy like you'd get at a diner. Garlic noodles could use a little more butter, but flavorful! Lobster rolls should always be ordered dressed
This place is quite exceptional. The quality of food is just amazing, the staff is small but very attentive and forthcoming. I've been getting my seafood fix here a lot lately. The clam and mussel steamer is wow and so is the fish and chips. My young daughter even loves the kids chicken tenders and so do I, honestly.
Really tasty lobster! Ambitiously varied menu. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more. The dressed lobster roll is very generosity portioned; I might have wanted slightly less dressing on it, but definitely satisfied a hunger I have been holding on to 'since my last visit to Martha's Vineyard. Maybe next time, I'll get the garlic noodles again (yum!) and maybe a bunch of oysters!
Pleasantly surprised. I always drive by this place. Everything was delicious. Chodah fries - how brilliant!! I can't wait to return and try more of their menu. Great location, plenty of parking. Until I can return I will be dreaming of grilled oysters.
I love this place! Been here twice and their stuff is delicious. Lobster roll, lobster baos, lobster buns... Their tacos are delicious, too. They have a like Asian kick to it, too. Also, best all day Sunday happy hour! Get it while it lasts! I don't know if they'll keep Sunday all day happy hour for long.
All I can say is delicious !! Everything was so tasty!! We went in a large group and I swear we tried everything. Each and every single person at the table left very happy. The firecracker lobster roll was the tables favorite . It’s on the happy hour menu only .
I came here with my partner for lunch and we had a great time. We got a glass of butterfly pea tea lemonade, which was very pretty. I also tried the clam chowder and the ceviche and my partner got a po boy. All the food was amazing. We received good service as well. However we decided to eat outside on a windy spring day and there are lots of trees around so cottonwood tree fluff was getting in our faces and on our food. Not their fault but if you come here I would advise eating inside in the spring. Also I think a dead fly blew into my tea (I don’t think it was in there when they gave it to me)
We came here during a weekday looking for some seafood and we were more than satisfied. The food was amazing with flavors we haven't found anywhere else; this place is one of a kind. I highly recommend giving this place a try and getting some coffee for the road on the way out at the connected cafe.
Stuck in this quite interesting ‘hood for several hours while Rack&Road are mounting a trailer hitch on my new Prius Prime. The ‘hood is gentrifying, but still has many old San Jose kinda shops - used cars (some quite nice), taquerias (many quite tasty), antiques (interesting!), hair stylists, lite industrial, and more..... Anyway stumbled onto this place while wandering, am enjoying pleasant service, a tasty warm latte & a cinnamon bun from the coffee shop half of the biz. Plan to come back later for a chowder. & for sure will be back some other time for Happy Hour oysters!!
My son and I dined here beginning of August while visiting the San Francisco area. The food was outstanding. We had steamed clams and mussels, crab cakes, clam chowder, oyster po boy and a Dungeness crab. Being from New England this was some of the best seafood I've ever had. Made me wish I lived out there so I could go back and enjoy their food again. On their menu they tell you to check out the menu, order at the counter, seat yourself and they'll bring you your order then prepare for a food coma. They weren't kidding about that last step.
Was only there for a to go order but will be back for a much better experience being that I loved the vibe, the lighting and music set the mood and the staff was Awsome. Loved how it shared a Coffee Spot that gave it an Adult Contemporary Essence to the place.
Shipwrecked fish sandwich was excellent. Big and juicy and loved how it melted together with cheese and tartar sauce. Crispy fries perfect. Cool spot.
Wow! My first time here and boy will I be back. Very rarely do I have a meal out that hits from top to bottom like this one did. Very good quality seafood that was cooked to perfection. Crispy fries for the poutine which I feel like is hard to find since the fries are in a gravy but this place has figured it out! Can’t wait to return with friends — super easy to do separate bills since it’s a fast casual vibe.
Quiet and friendly place. With amazingly good food. Tried Clam Chowder, fish and Chips + Crab plate. Everything is good and tasty. Surprisingly no concerns. Good music that drives the atmosphere. Recommend for a visit and working in a good atmosphere.
First time here and I loved it!! My friend and I came for a late lunch. We ordered lobster grilled cheese, French fries and garlic noodles with shrimp. We went at the right time because about 10 mins later, the crowd came. The ambiance is very relaxed and inviting and the service was good. The noodle portion was large so we had left overs to take home. Will definitely return.
This is a great place for brunch or a fancy dinner. They’ve got a great selection of items on their menu, including some Canadian influence with their poutine, which I must say was REALLY GOOD! The other item I got was the clam chowder and it was lovely, the bread was soft, (they even toasted the top with butter) and the chowder was really well done. You can dine inside or outside as they have ample seating. Highly recommend and will be going back to try more items on their menu! Also I didn’t try their drinks out but they’ve got “sake tails” which are cocktails with sake and happy hour!!
The soft-shell crab po-boy is the best I've ever had. The bread was so soft and perfectly balanced the savory and sweet combo of fried crab and pickled onions. I also have the BBQ bourbon oysters and they were a great combination of large and meaty oysters shucked perfectly and super satisfying to eat. They have margarita on tap, I got one with Strawberry flavouring and some tajin on the rim- delicious! Eating outside on the patio can be windy on some days, but it is nice if you want the waterfront feel while being landlocked.
awesome fish and chips served with lemon vinegar ketchup and tartar sauce. good beer selection and of course collocated with crema coffee shop. my friend got the clam chowder sourdough bread bowl and was disappointed that it wasn’t very thick. too runny. too much milk. the taste was okay there were some potatoes. 5 out of 10
Found this hidden gem while traveling from out of state. Wow, food was amazing and fresh. Very nice staff and quick service. Shrimp ceviche, fish and chips, and shrimp sliders were great. Super glad we took a chance and tried out this spot.
What a find! This off-the-beaten-path restaurant knows how to prepare fresh fish! I enjoyed the weekday happy hour fish tacos and lobster bao (pictured) and I can say that both were flavor bombs in my mouth! I am going to tell all of my co-workers about these guys! What a find! ✌️
Wow! This place is amazing. Fresh seafood. FRESH! Delicious Dungeness crab. Their clam chowder's homemade recipe is out of this world. I have been here many times already and the food and service is consistently the best. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit when I am in the mood for crab, clam chowder, fish & chips...you name it, they make some great food here! Casual dining atmosphere. Love it. Kid friendly. Lots of open space. And to top it off, they have a full Crema Coffee Cafe inside! Lattes, gelato and pastries as a dessert. Just great!
Great menu and quality seafood. Unfortunately we missed the happy hour so I definitely want to return and take advantage of their happy hour menu. The oysters were massive and delicious and the calamari was super crispy.

Absolutely delicious, hands down WOW! We’ve tried many fish-n- chips places, but without a doubt the best!!! The clam chowder ooooh! Boi!!! and with the crab or lobster, shrimp (extra) yummy!! My take 💯💯💯don’t have to read & believe… Go try it for yourself! Good servings too, the service excellent.
Food was absolutely delicious. Fish-n-chips fresh real fish fillets and tasty, fries were fresh , hot and seasoned on point! And very generous serving, clam chowder bread bowl seasoned delicious, top was toasted with garlic seasoning, delicious! You have the option to add crab meat or bay shrimp they were out of crab so the owner went the step and Beyond and substituted lobster for the same price needless to say my chowder bread bowl was off the hook!! , the garlic bread toast was amazing as well. I’ve driven by this gem plenty of times now I know and if you know you know! Needless to say will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

I highly recommend giving this place a try and getting some coffee for the road on the way out at the connected cafe.
We came here with our grandchildren. It's a good family place. All of our food was really good, especially the seafood. In another location, there would definitely be a waitlist.
Good food. Not very crowded. Will be coming back again. Oh ya great fish and chips. Fish was battered and cooked to perfect as well as the chips!
Food was great. There selection looked so good Had trouble deciding what to order. Thankfully, Truman the cashier was patient and helped us in deciding.
Fish and Chips were very good if a little greasy. The oysters in the Po Boy were cooked just right, but next time I will ask them to leave off the spicy sauce - just a bit much for me.
Food is good. Really pricey tho. It comes out to about 3-4 bux per oyster. Lobster roll was $18 without any dressing. It comes with fries and a snack salad thingy. I recommend the 4 dollar upgrade to chowder fries. It's a unique take on fries and it actually came out very good. I was tampering my expectations cause I've had similar dishes and sometimes it's too lil sauce or the fries are soggy or the sauce does nothing for the fries, but these came out great.
The atmosphere is nice and cozy. It was a lot bigger than I imagined , there was second floor seating. I ordered a clam chowder bread bowl and it was delicious. My husband ordered fish and chips, I thought it was just okay. The bread to fish ratio was perfect but it needed a little more seasoning , maybe a little salt, pepper, garlic? Try the 🍜chowder🍞 bread bowl you won't be disappointed . 😁 The service was great, the place was not crowded and the vibe reminded me of San Francisco/Monterey Bay when you enjoy a hot soup on a rainy cold day.
I visited here for the first time today. We were early for dinner so it was pretty empty. There's tons of seafood on the menu everything from crab to lobster to oysters. There is clam chowder in a bread bowl or in a bowl. My friend had the bread bowl and said it was excellent. He also ordered the garlic fries which he liked. I had the tacos, three to a plate, breaded fish with fresh vegetables and cubes of mango. The plate was served with french fries and a delicious coleslaw. It looks like this would be a fun place to come around dinner time. They have a few beers on tap, but nothing really extensive. There were lobsters and crabs in an aquarium... You can't get much fresher than that!
Dined in around 5:30 on a Thursday. I had shrimp taco, fish taco and lobster bao off the Happy Hour menu. They were 5.00 each. I liked all of them. Good flavor and a bit of spiciness. The staff works both the 402 counter as well as the Crema Coffee counter so they can be stretched thin. I'll go again
I don't why it's taken me so long to get to this restaurant. I understand it's the same owner as LA Crema which is a great coffee spot so it doesn't surprise me that they did a great job of redoing the location since the previous occupant. The decor is a modern, clean nautical theme which is very well done and not cheesy at all. This is a great spot to meet up friends and hang out in the patio. Now, onto the food and service. The customer service was not bad, it was just lackluster and a smile would be nice. The food was beautiful with fresh ingredients. However everything was missing a little something. We had the lobster tacos, tri-tip sandwich, and a large veggie salad. The seafood and veggie salad was enormous and packed with a variety of fresh ingredients. The lobster tacos had a good portion of meat and came with fries which was different. They did not have a lot of flavor. The same can be said about the Tri-Tip sandwich. I wanted to like it but then blamed myself for ordering meat at a seafood restaurant. The fresh bread was good and toasted with a nice spread and goat cheese. The meat was spread thinly over a very long roll the size of a hoagie and was not cut in half. I would have preferred they use a smaller roll with the meat piled up. The food visually looked very good but for me every item was just missing the mark. I would have given them a 3.5 rating.
It was OK. I didn't realize there is two different businesses in there and one lady to attend both. But is a nice place to eat some fish
Came here for an early dinner on Sunday. We ordered at the counter that also serves coffee and baked goods. I like that the restaurant has outdoor seatings that include an accessible table for wheelchairs. The staff was nice and very dog-friendly when bringing out the food to our table. The oysters were fresh and clean.
Pretty good seafood place near our neighborhood. We came on a Friday evening and the place is not crowded. I liked the lobster roll and the french fries.
The place is very easy to find with plenty of seats. Lobster rolls are delicious and they have various kinds of oysters. Good for bigger groups of people.
Solid seafood. I really liked the lobster roll, and the michelada was huge and incredible with a generous amount of shrimp as garnish. I also liked their counter service ordering, great for groups, but they still bring food to your table and generally have great service. The house wine was kinda overpriced ($8), especially compared with the excellent michelada ($10). The lobster poutine was not as good as I hoped it would be, though really generous with the lobster -- too much gravy, not enough fries, not real cheese curds. I'm glad they're in the neighborhood and hope they do well.

Fish & Chips was great. tartar sauce is awesome. Calamari was good. Garlic noodles add lobster was pretty good too.
The food was amazing but the service was horrible. First time there did not get greeted when we walked in, the place was completely empty. Apparently it was happy hour which the waitress didn't even notify us. This restaurant could be great just needs better customer service and if you hate your job just pretend you don't in front of customers.
Ordered 3 dishes, fried oyster and citrus salad tasted good. Butter lobster roll is just so so, lobster doesn't have any fresh seafood taste
Original review: Generally good seafood, nice atmosphere, but service is not great. Updated review: Unfortunately, moving in the wrong direction. Food not as good now, service just as bad. Go to Anchors instead.
Will give it another try. Lobster roll was good but tasted/smelled" fishy", good service and clean. Great family spot!
The service was pretty good and the menu is full of good looking dishes but the three we tried were all ok at best. I would say it's a little pricey for the quality you get, but the portion sizes are large enough that it makes it fair. I would eat here again but I wouldn't be excited about it.
Meh.... I got the spicy chicken sandwich and my husband got the fish and chips. The chicken was fried, I'm not sure why I was surprised, and like most seafood places the meat to bread ratio was more bread than meat. It was also on the dry side. My husbands fish and chips was more batter than fish, again I'm not sure why I'm surprised at this. We were told they didn't have any lobster for the lobster roles or lobster cakes. The food is mediocre, probably won't be back, but glad we tried it since it's a local place. Seating is mostly shared tables, but if that's not your thing there are a few smaller tables that aren't shared. Give it a shot, you may like it.
Ordered take out. They ran out of soft shell crab and only had fried shrimp or oysters. Garlic noodles were over cooked and had a crunchy texture. Only good thing was the Lobster 🦞 roll.
Food was served in good time and depending on item it either ok or good. The salad with any item was not impressive. The crab cakes tasted good which were on the spicy side but we're too dark on the outside (fried too long). The lobster roll was good. The place was not busy went we went, host were very pleasant. There is seating upstairs also. You order and pay at the counter and food is served to you at the table with your number tag. They have utensil caddy upstairs also (it was empty when we eat there). They do have good silverware and serving dishes were nice also. They have a coffee bar and an ice cream (may have been gelato, did not try) station also.
Ordered garlic noodles which was overcooked, crunchy, way too buttery and lacked garlic in it. Not many vegetarian options. But giving an okayish review since we had shrimp tacos too which were good, so maybe go for seafood options. Good ambience too.
Nothing special. I ordered the clam chowder. Meh... I also ordered the crab cakes, they Seem not fresh at all. The photos on reviews looked good, though. A bit let down... 🧐
I was asked to take my service dog outside, not once but twice, till I showed them the CA disability act. This was the GM! And she put the new guy out to tell me!
I hate to leave bad reviews but my boyfriend and I went there for a pretty late lunch and we were just standing on the left side (opposite of cafe area) waiting to order. We stood there for like 10 min not knowing if anyone was even working there at the time. Turns out the cafe that looks like a completely different restraunt bc it has a different name is where you order but the menu for pier 402 is on the other side. I specifically called different restraunts to get briney and saltwater oysters. They said they had multiple options of that. I walk in and ask what kinds of oysters they have and the server says I have no idea. On the menu it says ask your server for which oysters they have available that day. Like??? Not to mention I go out of my way to try oysters and these were the least briney least saltwater, saltwater oysters I’ve ever had. I couldn’t tell which was fresh or salt water bc they all tasted like fresh water. Incredibly disappointing and we will prob never be back. The clam chowder even tho my bf did think it was fine I found to be relatively fishy and seemd like they got their clams from a can. Just an overall disappointment bc I made a point to call before hand and it just seems like the servers haven’t tried the oysters or are just making thing up about them tasting distinctly differnt bc they all tasted the same. The only thing that was good was the lobster poutine and their clever word play for their restraunt name.
Clam chowder was more like potato chowder. Couldn't taste clams. Lobster roll was dry and tasteless (and smelly!), though fries were good. My friend liked his crabcakes (I didn't) and seafood salad, although it.was oddly paired with balsamic dressing! Not great service.
The food was ok, nothing special. We were a group of 6 who ordered at the counter at the same time, but the orders arrived very staggered. One person's order wasn't delivered until everyone else had finished eating, and her order was a salad. This, when there were fewer than 20 people in the restaurant, including our group. I was not impressed.
Staff are slow and unorganized. The owner sat on her butt at the counter eating French fries with some dude, instead of managing her restaurant. I asked for a Thai iced tea while I waited for my Togo order, and had to remind them about it. Didn't get my drink until everything else was ready. The food is decent. It's too bad the service is so lacking.
Although a nice atmosphere and ambiance the dish I ordered which was the fried calamari was very much overcooked and tough to chew. The sauce on top was not bad and the ranch is good but I can tell it's frozen and not thawed to make the calamari chewable. Maybe their other dishes are better.
The people were so kind and friendly, but the food was horrible. The Mac and cheese was cold in the center and was made with Velveeta. It supposedly had lobster in it, but I’m quite sure it was crab. Very disappointing. I wish I could give a good review because the people were so nice.
Lobster roll: lobster was chewy with very little flavor, as it was way overcooked. Fried oysters were crispy but dry as there was a small oyster to batter ratio. Tables were not clean!

Lobster roll was dry and tasteless. So was the slaw that was served with it. Not sure it was served on a roll, looked more like a slice of white bread that was toasted. It was soggy in the middle. My friend had the fish and chips which were greasy.
Ordered the claim bake and it looked great! Tasted good, but some of the seafood was chewy from being overcooked. My kid had the Pho and it was horrible. Saw them make it using the microwave. She asked for the beef on the side (not in the soup) and it was 1/2 brown, 1/2 red. The soup had a slight sour taste to it and told her to stop eating it. She ended up having stomach issues a few hours later. Should have returned it, but she was hungry. If you go, avoid the Pho. Unfortunately, we won't be going back.
I'd give this 0 stars if I could 🤢🤢 First we waited over 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter to take our order. Then our drinks came after our food. I could have forgiven those but the food was absolutely disgusting. I ended up throwing out my food and picking up something else to eat on the way home. I was excited to try somewhere new but will never be back here again.
Nice location with beer and TVs, but the food is struggling. Legit, the worst tri-tip sandwich. More like beef jerky sandwich. The meat was poor quality and I’m sure it was reheated. The lobster poutine was mediocre, at best. Mostly claw meat soaked in runny gravy and melted cheese, not cheese curds. The restaurant is large with a few TVs and serves beer, so it earns a star there. There is potential here but maybe for breakfast. I’ve tried this place twice with a similar experience each time. Previously I had the chicken sandwich, which was better than the “tri-tip” but that’s not saying much.
We would give zero stars if we could. Some of the other reviewers are spot on. Made to wait over 20 minutes then we were served nasty greasy food. Before we sat down we had to clean our own table and the server couldn't even be bothered with giving us utensils. I got up and went to ask for utensils and the owner yelled at me "YOU CAN WAIT!!!" Yeah, we're NEVER coming back here again.
This place is an absolute joke. Came in on a Friday morning 6/6/25 and waited at the counter for 15 minutes. Not a single employee in sight. Don't waste your time.
Their website is misleading. Showing happy hour for raw oyster. Went in on Thursday night, the cashier insisted oyster is not part of the happy hour, and charged us full price.
Bad service!! Young buck has no clue of customer service. Even on mothers day! Food good but had to ask few times cups with ice for warm soda given. Other waiters did make up for their very own manager proving bad service.
When I walked in the gentleman behind the counter was rude, they were out of items that I tried ordering on the menu, had to remind them 5 times that I ordered nachos and a beer The clam chowder was cold when brought to me and the shrimp from the nachos were undercooked. This was my first time at this establishment and will not come back to due to the poor service I was given and undercooked shrimp.
On Google hour, it says the restaurant is open till 8pm. We are here at 6:25pm, no one is here to help us, the kitchen seem to be closed already so there’s nothing we can order. The menu says happy hour is all day on Sunday, when we want to order, the lady told us it already ended. Horrible experience.
Went in for late lunch. Place was empty - 3 other people in the whole place who had clearly been there a while. Ordered a whole Dungeness. 45 min later - still no food. Also no staff, so I went to the kitchen doorway (no actual door) and see my cooked Dungeness just sitting on a table getting cold and rubbery. Kitchen person is making a sandwich on the same table - which wasn’t really clean. I told them I wanted a refund, got it, and left. Won’t return ever.
Unlike previous visits, I have to give 1 star. The last 2 times I came here, I either waited 10 minutes and nobody came out from the kitchen, or waited 10 minutes after running to arrive before closing, only to be told once the guy came out that 'we're closed.' It still wasn't closing time at 7pm, but he could care less. *maybe lock the door, and check occasionally to see if customers are waiting before you close* this time, same drill but at 5:15pm. After 7 minutes a couple came in behind me, and we all waited a few more minutes before anyone came to the counter. When I asked if there were food items beyond the happy hour menu, I was told "look at the menu". No welcome, no greeting, no encouragement. Every time I come here now, it's like the guy is expecting people to go away so he can watch TV. Too inconvenient to offer any service. There's no raw bar anymore. And if you sit outside, you are expected to keep going back inside to see if your food is ready- despite being given a number to place on your table. Been trying to support my local small businesses, but this one can just close. It's already failed.
If I could give 0 starts I would. No flavor to the po boy or even the lobster roll. Ordered the calamari and garlic fries only to be given soggy calamari and the fries were the worst. seems like they were fried a few times. it was honestly very disappointing. First and last time I will be going here. Also no oysters what so ever are sold there. The red wine tasted skunked. Terrible service.
The bathroom was FILTHY. Garbage can overflowing, dirty sink and toilet, no toilet tissue or seat covers. I took a peak at their kitchen and it was very dirty as well. The nachos was made with processed cheese and the seafood was all pre-frozen. Nothing fresh. Service was verrrryy slow.
Second review. Ten of us waited one hour for our food to be served. We will not go back. No service for tables, water, salt, pepper etc. order at a counter. They did serve us our food. Fish and chips were good, Sea food salad was okay, Frys were fine. My fish tacos were so tough, supposed to be crispy, they were cold.
So, few if my friends and I came here for a birthday dinner. There were 6 of us. You order as you come in, get a number and wait and wait and wait to get your food. That night it looked like they only had two people working there. I mean 2. Two people. I say this because we have only seen these two guys who took the order and manned the bar to get us drinks and then they would disappear and occasionally come out to bring an item or two and then they go back to the kitchen and not seen for a very long time. We were lucky that they were not busy when we arrived so we were able to order food and drinks but none of us were able to order any other drinks since there was no one at the bar. Both of the guys were back in the kitchen. Food lacked flavor and quantity. I ordered tacos. They were so small that the fish that was supposed to be on then was so small i barely tasted anything. See the picture for reference. Atmosphere was good but the food and the cost of it makes us stay away from this place.
I stopped by this place for lunch and stood at counter to order for 5 minutes until a seated customer told me that I have to order at the Crema counter. There is a bakery/drunk place connected to this place and the 1 lady was working both businesses. I decided to order the Ban MI sandwich and lobster chowder. The meat in the sandwich was so hard to chew it looked like beef Jerky. The peach tea I ordered was all water. Wasted $25!! Didn't even eat the sandwich.
