It was awesome! Everyone was really friendly and the price was really good considering how expensive everything else is in the park. I got a burger and fries for $8.50 and they were fresh too!

Always go here when I go to great America. It isn't the best food ever, but it's always fast, reliable and tastes good. It has milkshakes, burgres, chicken tenders, fries, basically everything you would expect from a fast food restaurant. Really good place to stop for lunch if you're looking for food at great America

The food was really good. I had the hot dog and fries and finished off the wifes cheeseburger it was really good also. First time here at Great America and loving it. Relaxing in the cabana.

It was so good! Food was fresh, delicious and way less cash than other places in the park. The place is 50s style so anyone who likes grease will super enjoy this one.

Nice sit down place at Great America. Not near the selection Sierra Creek has (which is a short walk away) but good for a burger or corndog.

Got quinoa (veggie) burgers with fries for $17/each. Totally hit the spot! Decent enough for amusement park food 😆 Hot and fresh and generous portion of fries. The girls working there were friendly and kept everything cleaned up and replenished. Cute 50’s diner vibe.

I really like this cafe; it is the best one in the Bay Area. The food is delicious, and the service is great. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the outdoor seating is perfect for people-watching. I would definitely recommend this place to any who love a great dining experience.

Best fries, but recent changes to order your food is not very efficient and take very long.

Fries are fresh sliced, but not super crispy. Service was slow the last couple times.

For the price of the chicken fingers and fries you get a lot and they are tasty.

Great french fries, and chicken strips, the burgers would be great but the buns are the biggest part of the burgers... Side salads are good also, shake machine is always broken though so i don't how good the shakes are... as always buy the food option on your gold pass and you get two free meals a day...

I miss their hickory burger where there is bacon. Now there is only cheese burger or regular burger, chicken tender, and veggie burger. The cheese burger is decent though Services is usually slow.

Very disappointing experience at American Cafe. We ordered food for our toddler through the QR code system, which clearly stated a 15 minute wait time. After more than 25 minutes, we noticed people who arrived after us were already receiving their food. When I asked the cashier, Charisma, to please check our order number because something clearly seemed wrong, she refused and simply told us to keep waiting. After another 10 minutes, a supervisor finally checked and confirmed the order had an issue and was apparently not linked to our table. Poor customer service and lack of staff training made this a frustrating experience.

Way overpriced. I got a small serving of chicken tenders for 16 bucks and they sold bottled water for 425.

Food was average. At peak times, wait was abhorrent. Service was okay, nothing special.

If your hungry in the park well your stuck with park food. The burger was good and chicken. With fries well hmm more of a box filler of a waste of money. 17 bucks for a meal w no drink. With season pass we were fortunate that each card holder got a 35 dollar food credit due to the COVID and entire year park was close in 2020.

Seems like GA is not serving milkshakes so they have less to maintain. Over all this place makes me feel like I am in a low budget movie where they don’t pay the extras. Gave a 1 star only because food was good, however waiting in line to pay for 30 minutes with your food in your hands getting cold was ridiculous! There were problems with 2 customers at the cash register. They should of opened another register and taken care of the 20 customer's waiting with food in hand. I almost said, I can't wait any longer and was about to throw my food behind the counter. It was ridiculous... and no apologies as to the delay.

We ordered some fries as a snack to tie us down. I didn’t think it was possible to mess up such a simple order but somehow they surprised me. The fries were straight up black and tasteless and the ones that did have some sort of taste were definitely rotted. There was also no service, only mobile order.

This place is not organize to get the food out to the customers. There is just a cashier taking your order and another person handing out food one by one. If there was a food ticket method maybe it would be alot more efficient. People were just having their hands out taking their food one dish at a time. It was easy for people from out of line to say hey I ordered a burger and take what was meant for the person ahead of them.

Overpriced We paid $65 for 3 cheese burgers and some rotten fries.hey We paid for our food we didn't get it for free. The lettuce 🥬 that comes with the order had some dark stains all over. Same problem with fries. Cashier should learn how to treat customer and stop being racist..

More workers and faster service and a please help with supervision from an adult that knows what is going on no Coordination, no supervision, not enough food. They see that there is 20 people in line. They make me to make 10 burgers. They need to do 10 chicken nuggets, chantin hot dogs. People were picking up food and then putting it back. People were grabbing food cutting in line and not paying for it. Waited over an hour just for a hamburger cheeseburger

This place appears to be set up as a self serve line, but the kitchen doesn't keep up with the flow of people going through. So when it's lunch time there is no food out for people to take until they get up to the cashier but then they put food out so the people who have ordered at the cashier have to wait even longer for their food and then people try to line jump because they got food out of the self serve line and just want to pay for it before people in front of them have even ordered. The people working the kitchen were absolutely clueless about how their process is supposed to work and kept serving people at the back of the line instead of catching up with people who had ordered and paid and were still waiting for food. Finally we got some of the food we ordered and it was an ice cold bloody cheeseburger. GROSS. By that time we had waited so long it was a hard choice between getting food poisoning and waiting even longer to get safe food while people in line continued to take the freshly made food they were still trying to stock the self serve line with. I had to stand at the cashier and constantly remind the person who was handing out the food as it came from the kitchen that yes I did want cheese on my cheeseburgers and no I still haven't received my complete order. I will never eat here again. It was a complete annoyance and waste of time not to mention a health hazard. I am sad there is such incompetence at such a busy place. Although to be fair it was not busy, the incompetent staff just could not handle the whole 10 people that were in line.
