Recensioni di Firehouse Coffee Sausalito
DJ and his team of excellent baristas are not only kind but are good at what they do. Love the selection. Get the morning glory bread. It's always a hit and healthy too!
Lavender Honey Latte is highly recommended. The owner is pretty knowledgeable about different tea. He even recommended brewing time of 4 minutes before to taking a sip of Genmai Cha. If you are Sausalito and wanna take sip coffee, definitely consider this place.
What a nice place. It’s tucked in to the firehose in Sausalito. It has chairs and couches, there are people working on their laptops, very friendly atmosphere. We had the wild cherry tea, which was great.
Wonderful local coffee shop with comfortable couches, and a pleasant outdoor patio. Coffee is appropriately priced for the area, and with a local atmosphere not often found in downtown locations. Plus their monthly seasonal flavors are my favorite part! Pet friendly too!
Amazing service first and foremost. All staff are super friendly and always willing to help. I was confused about my order and didn't like it and they swapped it out for something more of my taste and that is exceptional service. It's in a great location so you can enjoy your coffee with that sea breeze. A lot of good treats and sandwiches as well. It is an amazing place to get some work done. They have dog treats as well!
Visiting from Arizona & stopped in here for some coffee with our kiddos. Ended up spending a few hours here & met the absolute nicest people ! From the staff to the owners. All incredible interactions !! Most definitely will be back. Totally fell in love with the place & the people that work it.
This is my favorite shop that I visited while in Sausalito. I considered not leaving a review because if everyone finds my favorite coffee shop, then maybe it will be too crowded. But the staff was nice and there was something about the ambience that almost made me wish I had homework so I could study there -- almost. It has the cool beach vibe yet it's quiet and intellectual.
Sausalito has never disappointed with the variety of coffee shops. Firehouse is no exception. I had the Sumatra Pour Over and cute little macaron and they were nice! Staff is great as well :)
I'm biased because I love coffee shops, but for a coffee shop this place does it right and more! First of all, if you want a coffee shop that does less acidic and more palatable espresso, this is your place my friends! I've been to so many places that do espresso that not only tastes bitter but is very acidic and kind of leaves. A bad feeling on my tongue. Firehouse gets it right every single time! They also have a great assortment of different drinks anywhere from americanos to lavender lattes, to cappuccinos. Holy smokes folks, the white chocolate cappuccino, although small (since it's a cappuccino) is it powerhouse for me over there. When joints like this do the simple things extremely well, it's only up from here. The atmosphere is amazing because although it is quiet, it still feels very busy and very comfortable. Plenty of space, comfortable couches, places to work and smiling faces to be around. Around. This is got to be one of my favorite coffee shops around The Sausalito area and Bay Area. I'd like to consider myself a coffee junkie and love trying new places whenever I get a chance. This absolutely needs to be on your list! Great assortment of books to read too if you just want to go and hang out there for the afternoon. Lastly, but most importantly... The staff. One of the friendliest, courteous and relaxed bunch I've seen . Worked in the service industry for about 6 to 7 years before and man. Is it hard to find good help that creates an even more amazing atmosphere. These folks have got all those corners covered. I'll be back soon and not soon enough!
I'm happy I walked in, and I left the other coffee place behind that's around the corner. Much happier here. Wonderful, hardworking staff who help with advice about their good coffees, and the tasty foods they serve. Clean, spacious, and bright decor inside, and a good number of outdoor tables. The kind of place where you're known by the second visit and you'll return again and again and again.
Firehouse is probably the best coffee place in Sausalito! They make good coffee, and the staff are always friendly. My coworkers and I come here at least a couple times per week because we love it so much. I'm a particular fan of their monthly specials!
We truly enjoyed the living room set up and chill ambience. I got the Lavender Latte and my brother got the Vietnamese Coffee, bothe iced and both were great, especially as it was quite hot that day. You can also enjoy your coffee on their outdoor patio.
Store is conveniently located on Bridge Way in Sausalito. Nice looking store, liked those red huge wooden chairs outside the store. Nice to sit enjoy your drink. Restrooms were clean. Service was quick and courteous. Latte was good too.
This latte was filled with premium espresso and a perfect amount of milk. Sometimes the baristas just nail it. This was that kinda place the morning I was there. Highly recommend.
Wide selection of coffees and teas, special seasonal drinks, freshly baked pastries in a cozy comfortable settings makes this place my favorite spot in Sausalito.! And what makes it more special is ... cheerful, hospitable, and welcoming owner/manager and his friendly staff ... Highly recommended.
Best coffee in Sausalito ! The owner takes great pride in his products and it shows !
Definitely worth checking out!! Firehouse is a local, family owned & run shop with an incredibly friendly staff. They have an extensive selection of carefully crafted teas and award winning coffee, and their pastries and sandwiches are all made fresh daily by local chefs, so you're sure to enjoy whatever you order! The shop interior is lovely with plenty of seating, and additional seating on their cute patio. Plus, it's just a block away from the bay, so stop in for a warm drink before you hit the waterfront :)
delicious coffee, amazing atmosphere and great baristas. affordable as well. coffee isn't too sweet - loved it!
Nice and cozy cafe. Two hours of WIFI (ask for a slip of paper with code). Couches are comfy. Patio on the side, but plenty of tables inside. I had a latte and a blueberry muffin; both were tasty!
This a great local coffee shop. They have equator coffee, a variety of teas and some delicious smelling warm and hot food. There is a clean bathroom, fast wifi, good music playing and excellent service. The barista was polite, helpful and knowledgeable. One of the baristas even helped an older woman out of the establishment on his arm. I would highly recommend this place. Great staff and coffee.
Good place to hangout if you want to get away from the main spot in Sausalito.. I am a tour guide and it's definitely a nice place to chill and get away from people. There's an area at the back to chill. Staff is friendly. Bathroom is clean. Recommend!
Very delicious coffee and iced tea and great, fast service.
What a cozy, great little spot. Good coffee and great people who went way out of their way to help me!
Great coffee shop. Excellent coffee, friendly staff and cozy space. I love seeing the art on the walls, featuring a new local artist each month.
This is probably the best coffee place I’ve been to in my entire life. Every drink my wife and I have tried had been incredible. Highly recommend the white chocolate cappuccino. Food is phenomenal. The staff is so lovely and kind and makes everyone feel right at home. It’s the Michael Jordan of coffee shops
This place is great! Great coffee, relaxed vibe, comfortable couches. It’s my new go to coffeehouse when I’m in Sausalito. The guy who owns it, DJ is cool guy - warm, funny - it’s obvious why the ambiance is so welcoming.
I LOVED this coffee place!!! The male barista with glasses was fantastic!! The environment was amazing and the coffee was incredible!! Also the ham and cheese croissant was FANTASTIC!! We left with smiles on our faces and wanting to come back.
The BEST cute cafe to do work in Sausalito! My sister was in a wheelchair for this trip and from the moment we walked in they asked if we needed any assistance and were so polite and welcoming to us. The drinks were amazing too and they have tables and couches with wifi and a little outdoor patio, too. Thanks Firehouse! We’ll be back!
Best coffee we’ve had in the States! (And we travel a fair bit to the main cities for work). Thank you guys for what you do! Highly recommend stopping by for a Latte. 😊
Great coffee, nice, friendly people.
Nice place! Kind staff, great coffee and snacks 😊
This is the best coffee in Marin. And yes, I’ve tried nearly every other spot because Peet’s and Starbucks is overpriced dumpster water. We drive 15 minutes to Sausalito to get our coffee at Firehouse, because if I’m going to spend $6-7, it better be worth it. And firehouse coffee is worth every penny. S/O the owner DJ for creating such an awesome local business.
The staff is always so kind, personable, easy to talk to and remember me even if I haven't been in a while. They genuinely care about you and your experience there. Delicious beverages, I am partial to the honey lavender oat milk latte, YUM! Also, a decent selection of pastries, breakfast sandwiches/burritos and 2-3 different kinds of Quiches, I always go for the Broccoli Cheddar and I love it. The pricing is comparable to other coffee shops in the area. They give you a punch card so after your tenth purchase your next beverage is free. There is comfortable seating indoors with coaches, chairs, and tables. There is also a quaint back patio area you can step outside, drink your coffee while breathing in the smells of the bay. I tend to see people with their dogs in this space, so I believe it's a dog friendly space in the outside portion. I personally can't afford to always go here but when I can, I do!
This is the place. First of all, delicious consistent cappuccinos. Cozy ambiance with rotating local artists on the walls. Regulars up for a morning chat. And Oh my god waffles (ask for them heated up). But also when I first moved here it was the first place that made me feel like I belonged in Sausalito. It isn't trivial when you're new in town--the barista who remembers your order and is happy to see you every morning. It's an important part of what makes a town a home. So grateful for this place.
Great selection of drinks with decaf and vegan milk options. Comfortable cozy seating with a selection of books and small snacks. Perfect for a lazy afternoon.
Firehouse is a truly perfect cafe. The dog friendly and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel at home, and their wonderful food and pastries are delicious. I am never disappointed when eating there. My food and drink come fast and taste great. The workers are friendly, kind, and patient. I have no complaints.
Great friendly coffee shop with a nice selection of coffees and tea. Very welcoming staff and great location
We come here every weekend from San Rafael. It's the BEST coffee shop in Marin!
Very friendly staff, excellent coffee, and a great location. I stopped by the other day to get some work done while enjoying a cup of coffee, and it was the perfect spot. Comfortable, welcoming, and everything I needed. I’ll definitely be coming back
Great coffee, great pastries, great people! Gluten free options as well, the almond cake was amazing!
A little on the pricey side but good coffee overall.
I have visited this coffee place at least three times and it's amazing how consistently great their flat white is. Even the taste is unchanged. Extremely friendly service!
I really enjoyed the house blend coffee and bran muffin. Looking forward to more visits in future.
My favorite coffee place in Sausalito. The staff is very well trained to the point they greet u by name and even remember what u drink or what u eat if you’re a regular. Coffee is always perfect and looks beautiful. They have fun food selections as well.
What a cute spot! Stopped here to meet up with a friend while in the Bay Area and was so happy to find a spot with a cozy atmosphere and delicious drinks!
Perfect little latte away from the crazy of Sausalito on the weekend. Plenty of comfortable seating, super friendly staff and a nice assortment of snacks and treats. From Quiche to sandwiches, salads and deserts that my wife was crazy for. ...and DOG FRIENDLY...check out the back patio to chill with your pooch.
Amazing place and a must visit if you’re in Sausalito. I came up here for a day trip and decided to work from the cafe. I had a pumpkin spice latte and a waffle, both which were amazing! The WiFi is great, and bathroom is very clean as well. The staff is very friendly and I loved the vibe. It is a smaller space so can get a little noisy, but still plenty of space to sit and work, and plug points. Would highly recommend and I’ll definitely be here again!
Fantastic coffee, we're all coffee lovers and were highly impressed by the quality. Definitely top notch! Friendly service and great pastries. It's a relatively small place so would take that into account if you're with a big group
I ordered the churro latte and it was INCREDIBLE. The flavor is rich without being too sweet, just like a fresh churro. You can tell they use high-quality coffee. Cozy vibe and great service.
Plenty of inside and outside seating and friendly people they have couches and wooden tables and desks. My cousin and I got a hot mocha as well as an iced one The hot mocha was perfectly balanced, just a tiny bit on the sweet side, but not in a weird commercial coffee type of way. Mellow middle notes of chocolate. The iced mocha was evenly blended, and there were no granulated pieces of chocolate floating around, which is something I admire. Unrelated: they have a doggie bowl outside for your puppers. And they have snacks for them inside. These are dog friendly people. My only request is to have some savory items inside. I saw a quiche, but I’d love to have a ham and cheese croissant.
As a coffee enthusiast I am always looking to support local places that put effort, care, and quality into their coffee. Firehouse does a brilliant job crafting excellent dark roast coffees. The young gentleman barista in the morning makes my flat white so beautifully. Not many places do a flat white so I'm very appreciative. On top of it, service is friendly and warm. Highly recommend and will be back! Many thanks, Emi
This is my second time at the Firehouse in Sausalito. Today I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Dana. I was on my way to look at an office in Sausalito and as I drove through town I remembered that a year ago I stopped at a very cool cafe. I remembered it because the guy at the counter, D. J. was so kind and helpful, telling me where this and that was around town. He took the time to help me while I was being sort of a tourist. So today I found that cafe again and got some work done there on my Mac. Thank you Dana and D.J. Janette
Found parking one block away, followed by a nice relaxing walk to this clean, attractive, coffee shop next to a Sausalito Fire Station #1. Ordered a cappuccino, latte, and a Sumatra pour over from a very personable staff. Beverages were well made in a timely manner and tasted fantastic. Atmosphere is wonderful, plenty of comfortable seating options including a nice relaxing outdoor area.
Great place to post up and do a little work. The ham and cheese quiche was filling, and the crust was done perfectly. The raspberry peach scone was good too, but I recommend only one pastry unless you’re starving, since they’re filling.
Very casual atmosphere. Located right next to Sausalito fire station. Medium roast Americano with soy is very good. They have variety of pastries and some light eats. They also have patio space in back to enjoy outdoors. Staffs are nice and friendly nor cal casual. I will come back for sure!
A wonderful neighborhood coffee shop. Really great friendly staff members. The cappuccino was intense and delicious. Nice spread of pastry and savory breakfast. Lots of comfy chairs and spots to chill.
What a beautiful little coffeeshop we came across when bicycling through Sausalito. Bike racks right outside the front door, and comfortable, seating both outdoors and indoors. I really enjoy finding privately owned non-corporate coffee stores which are well designed, run, with excellent products. Great service and coffee. The People here are sweet, nice and helpful :-)
Lots of different seating options available - their couches are super comfy. Staff was very friendly (I think his name was DJ?). Coffee itself was smooth and delicious. They make their syrups in house and you can tell the difference. It’s next to the fire hall which makes the name extra cute and fitting.
Inviting atmosphere, extremely clean in the lounge area and bathroom as well. Convenient location on the corner of Bridgeway & Johnson (right next door to the firehouse). If you happen to be getting your car serviced at Sausalito Auto Service right across the street, it's a great place to wait! Plenty of snacks , coffee beans, and of course a full coffee menu.

This place is great! Wifi with purchase, great coffee, everyone is so friendly. Come before 10am to have your own table and seat if you are working.
Fantastic spot… great coffee, hung out on the back patio area. Felt like a locals vibe.
Great coffee, tasteful design and friendly owner/employee. Enjoyed relaxing at this beautiful and comfortable place. Will visit it again anytime I am back to Sausalito.

We came here because they specifically called out good breakfast but did not find that to be the case. Prepackaged, very expensive burritos and a very bland quiche were what we found. Coffee and matcha was great, atmosphere was great. Just really not a place to get food, too.
Chilled atmosphere. Great location. Super friendly staff. Sausalito is beautiful & a visit to Firehouse definitely adds to it's beauty. They have some good food options & toasted croissant was the best I have ever had. Another thing I noticed was other visitors being very nice & friendly. Overall experience was great after visiting the sunrise point on Hawk Hill. Must visit!
We ordered their cappuccino. Compare to the price we have seen in Bay Area it felt a bit pricy for the quantity. The coffee without doubt was rich and creamy. I would love to try their different drinks in future for sure when I visit Sausalito.
Their chai latte was really good and totally loved the morning glory bread. Decent amount of seating. Staff was also very cordial. Taking off a star because they only allow u 2 hrs of internet and it keeps dropping every couple of minutes. It seemed like they were already aware of the issue and didn't really care to address it.
Coffee was great. I had a flat white with oat milk. Came without latte art. Plenty of non-dairy milk options, they are $0.5 extra. They also charged an extra $0.24 credit card fee. Interior has comfortable chairs. The outdoor patio in the back is basic but quiet. They also sell sandwiches, a quiche and matcha latte.
Stopped by during a ride to Sausalito and opted for Firehouse over the other “more popular” coffee shop across the street because of its peacefulness. The back patio is quieter and well shaded. Besides coffee, they have lots of pastries and sandwiches as well. Both coffee and service were ok.
It’s a nice little personalized coffee shop with sweet and friendly staff. It’s right opposite to the scenic boat pier, so location is great. Plenty 2 hr free street parking available nearby. Cappuccino was really strong - perfect to my taste. Overall great selection of coffee, tea and quick bites. Comfy mismatched couches to give out cozy feeling. Although, I would really have loved a real cup for a $4 coffee instead of a paper cup, which was little tiny though!
Cute little place, very good coffee! Had the cardamom rose latte and it had notes of both the flavors. Will definitely be here next time I visit Sausalito.

All stars for the great location and very tasty lemon bar. Less 3 starts for poor service (lady cashier thought it proper to keep telling her colleague that it was “almost time to go home” in front of customers… at 3.30??), a deceiving menu (why have tea by the pot on the menu but when they serve your drink they say they don’t “serve tea by the pot”??), poor service (drinks in disposables, lemon bar stuffed in a paper bag instead of maybe… a tiny plate with a spoon or fork?)? Bit of a misfit in quaint Sausalito!
