I took a chance and ordered my food from UNION BONCHON and let me say I was not disappointed. The snowcrabs was impeccable, delivery was spot on because I was allow to check food upon arrival. I was very in press as well as appreciated for the professionalism. I had to call and let the establishment know I was very pleased and my tastebuds was pleasantly pleased as well. GOOD JOB 🤓🤓🤓🤓

Had a menu sent in the mail, decided to try it today and I have to say this place is amazing. Had the shrimp and crab legs a lb each and it was beyond filling. Could have definitely ordered 1/2lb. The spice levels are amazing, hot definitely had a good kick to it and so did mild. Will definitely be ordering again

I got the Flyer in the mail thought I try it, it was awesome, better than any beach town seafood restaurant I've been too and not too bad on the price. We all got the pound of shrimp and pound of snow crab legs comes with potatoes two eggs sausage and corn in a spicy butter sauce if you desire was amazing. Also fried butterflied shrimp was great too. Will definitely be ordered again.

I was skeptical at first, decided to try it out tonight, and wow…the food for the $ is excellent. Quality and quantity, one of my new favorite places. I spend about the same $ at other places and it just doesn’t quite fill the bill. Or me Up, but this fried fish combo and onion rings HIT the SPOT! Keep up the good work guys/gals!

I've ordered a few times already. Consistently good food. I'm also allergic to shellfish, and I've never had any issues or reactions. They're always busy when I go to pick up my food. Try the Bon Chon wings! They're awesome!

This place has EXCELLENT food! Nice atmosphere. Good music to enjoy as you eat your food. I ordered Bonchon Wings (which is really crispy fried chicken, the easiest way to explain it) definitely would visit here again. I ordered a side of Vegetable Fried Rice, too.

I have ordered here 2 times so far and the food does not disappoint. The boils are amazing and honestly one of the best seafood boils I’ve had in the capital region. They give you a generous amount of food every time, there is no skimping on food with this place and it is flavorful. I did go ahead and add some oldbay to my boil for the extra spice but other than that, I love the boils and it hit the spot! I also just want to point out that this place gives you an egg with your boil, NO other place in the capital region has done that.... ever. I used to always see seafood boils from other states on Instagram and they would always include the boiled egg (& I love boiled eggs) but I hadn’t experienced that until this place opened. So I was impressed! I also tried a fruit tea, I wasn’t a huge fan of it but that’s because of my taste palate and wanting to try something new but it was tasty and I did finish it. Definitely worth the try!!

If you are looking for a family meal out of the box this is the place for you. The food is fantastic with its own original twist on their dishes. Then the tea raised the bar for something that was unexpected. The service was great food immaculate. I wish I could add more stars to my rating....

Food is fantastic, prices are reasonable, take out on their website is super easy. I always go for the get your hands dirty seafood platters and the wings. The seafood is always fresh and delicious, although the lobster seems frozen instead of fresh, I'd pass on that item in the future.

This place has the best sweet potato fries & the best chicken. You really have to give them a go you will not be disappointed & they also have bubble tea with boba which is really good also. They are bit pricey but worth every penny of it.

My husband and I went there for the first time last week, and we will definitely be back. The portions were as listed, the accompanying potato, corn, and sausage in the combos were also fair. Sauces were great, hot actually had some heat unlike the other places. Not complaints what so ever. Staff was friendly, definitely more of a take out place!

Food is fantastic, everything is well cooked and the seasoning is delicious. I went with hot garlic butter and it wasn't very spicy, just enough to give a good flavor though. The sausage is very good and I've never had eggs in a boil but I enjoyed them as well. The bubble teas are outstanding, highly recommend the honeydew.

This is an amazing food and seafood place with a very tasty, delicious and well portioned variety of food and seafood options and a platter we've fell in Love with. Their prices are reasonable and you definitely get a good portion. Presentation for take out is well done allowing safe travel without spilling sauces. When we got home, we shook up bag so sauce was over everything. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Highly recommended and will be going back, often.

NYC boy here (don't hold it against me), and this is legit Korean fried chicken. One of my favorite places to eat in Manhattan is Bon Chon, and this comes very close. Will be ordering again!

Their seafood boils are amazing (wish it came with more sausage though), you pick your seafood choice and it comes with potatoes, corn on the cob, boiled eggs and a couple sausage slices. I think it's an added bonus that they also include a cute bib with their logo on it and gloves so it's not so messy- must haves if you ask me. Great place!

I love the bonchon wings. Best fried wings imo. Their coconut bubble tea is so good.my daughter got the original which was good too. The egg fried recent is also pretty good. For some reason I couldn't call so I ordered online. So glad I found this place for the wings and bubble tea. Hope to try more from here soon.

Visited this place while staying with my Mom for the Holidays. The sweet chili wings are amazing!! Parking isn't so great but it works.

The food is delicious, it has been a favorite of mine since I moved to Schenectady but i don’t know who complained about the original fried rice or why they decided to change the fried rice recipe. It was so good back in 2021 when I first had it, now it keeps getting worse. The seafood boil is still consistently good but please go back to the yellow fried rice.

I had the snow crab, shrimp, crawfish, sausage, corn, potatoe broil with cajun garlic butter sauce. Best seafood I've found up here!

Very good flavor in my snow crab and shrimp boil. I just was shocked on how SMALL the crab legs were. The claw on them were the size of the tip of my finger. Everything tasted great, just wish it was a better quality of crab legs. I wish I had a picture. But still great flavor and service!

I have my food delivered by GrubHub and when I got my food the chicken was overcooked the rice was undercooked overcooked I order shrimp fried rice the shrimp and the rice I spit it out my mouth I will never order from Union Cajun seafood in Schenectady New York

I really did not appreciate how my food tasted like oil. The fish and the fries were also fried too hard.

Lemon pepper Wings were good… My problem was the RICE. After careful examination I have concluded that they sell “Plastic Rice” it’s fake rice. When i took my first bite of the rice it was so dry, I immediately got hiccups, had to force myself to throw up to stop the hiccups. The wings were great but the rice was such a turn off for me, If their rice is fake what else are they selling that is fake ?????

I mean it was ok. worth trying i guess. I went for crawfish and I must say that if they didn't skimp on the sauce which really had no substance at all, maybe my boil would have been better. that watery sauce does not hold a candle to the boil shack, Aqua boil, Shaking crab etc. even if I lived in Schenectady Id go to the boil shack because their boils are wayyyyy more flavorful that Bonchon. It was ok but I will not be riding out to Schenectady again for it. Its nothing to write home about. Enjoy!

Tried today. Corn on the Cob, not fully cooked, Needs richer sauce. Oily sauce tasted like old grease and like they don't keep the pots clean.

These people are ridiculous that works here. They charge me for my order and I never received it and they hanged up the phone when I call to ask where my food at.

Fried rice was horrible. I came home and had to remake the rice. I had to add sweet soy sauce to the rice and hot chilli oil to give it some color and flavor. Fried rice should never be yellow it should be brown and more seasoning is needed. The next thing that was also horrible. How can you name a chicken wings after your restaurant and they're just simply fried wings nothing special about it. You need to take that seafood sauce and infuse it with the wings

The source is watery, salty and oilly that's about it, it has no lemon garlic butter flavor at all. Shrimp is lower quality. Boil Shack is still the best seafood boil

I’m not happy with this order at all not mild flavor it take nasty just butter. And they Charge 5 dollar if you want extra sauce. I will go somewhere else they just open a new seafood place on central Ave I don’t recommend this location I will spent money somewhere else. Sauce was good but fried shrimp was the frozen ones the chinese restaurant sell. I was really annoyed and surprised because a seafood restaurant shouldn't have frozen seafood in their freezer!

Order the lobster tail 2 pc only received what looked like a litte cray fish & one other lobster tail. I would stay away. Considering there charges close too $40 for half the quality.

Restaurant staff does not like giving sauces even when you offer to pay extra for it. $65 of fried shrimp and no tartar sauce, when requested at the restaurant owner said that they put 4 in the bag, once home and opened bag it’s 4 spicy mayo. No tartar sauce. Called store to complain and girl that answered the phone was rude and dismissive. Also some crab legs are black, not sure why but doesn’t look safe to eat.

They sent me 1 pounds of snow crab what i ordered is 13.1 Lb Snow Crab Legs, 1/2 Lb Shrimp (No Head), 1/2 there was vessels i didnt ordered and there was sausages which is i strictly ordered non sausages menu i cannot eat sausages and we had peoples allergy to meat at gome and this unacceptable also reported to doordash careful everyone! Never ever eating from here again horrible experience!

When here tonight looking for a quick dinner, I had the chicken Cajun fried rice and medium wings. The rice was absolutely horrendous, it tasted like plastic and was way too salty. Absolutely the worst thing I have even eaten in my life. The wings were dry and hard. The young lady at the front was kind but not interested in the business & couldn’t answer simple questions asked, she was also was in the middle of taking my ordered when the phone rang and proceeded to take the persons order that called while I was standing there. I do not recommend this place.

Wow, the worst Chinese/ American food I have ever had. The rice felt plastic and smelled bad. The chicken tenders were salty and super hard. The staff at the front counter was super nice, so it is not her fault that the chef was terrible. Do not recommend it.

I order snow crab legs almost every month. BUT today, it’s tooooo salty, not eatable at all!!! I even tried to wash crabs using clean water, but still very salty. This is so frustrating that we have to throw away all crabs and suffer from hungry!!!

Their description of what was included wasnt clear, they didn't had the information such as corn,eggs,potatoes and sasuage will be included in the seafood boil. They added sasuage which was pork or beef and I do not eat those. Who doesn't like chicken? Saw this place and decided to give it a try for lunch. Walked in and found it to be less than clean with a counter person less than interested in my being there. Too many other lunch options in Schenectady to even bother trying the food. Yes, I know that some places are like this BUT have amazing food. I highly doubt this is one of them.

The only thing decent about this place is the snow crab. The drums combo with fried rice was a total disaster. Unappetizing looking chicken with bland fried rice mixed with melted styrofoam. Not to mention that the Bonchon chickens were slimy and the drums were split down to the bone. Easily the worst meal I have had in a while and completely lost my appetite.
