We actually did drive through but staff was WONDERFUL and kind. Food is WAY MORE than you would expect (burritos are HUGE) and the flavors and options are spot on.
It's a chipotle, what more can I say. For anyone who has never gone here, I would like to tell one thing. If you order online at a busy time, you will not get your order on time. The app does not adjust their time depending on busy hours. I've waited 30 min past the time I was expected to have my food multiple times at this one and they didn't even offer me a free drink. If you order before or after a rush, everything is good though. Which is what I do now.
One of my favorite places to eat! Fresh meat,vegetables made in front of you! Service is great, good customer service, friendly atmospher! Keep up the good work!
First time eating at this chipotle. Staff was very nice, portions were great. Cristian was phenomenal. Great experience.
Did a pick up today for a late lunch (3pm) and everything was incredible and the pick up crew was absolutely wonderful!
Wow, Johanna was great. The service from the people at the counter was terrible, but Johanna got involved and did a great job. I and several others, had to wait a phenomenally long time for our food and were treated very rudely, but Johanna apologized for the wait and even bought my burrito for me! Also, my food, when I finally got it, was delicious 😋.
We had one of the best chipotle lunch in recent times. The food was warm and tasting fresh . I am not sure if it was because we ate close to 12 pm whereas we usually have lunch an hour or two later. But this place helped us regain our confidence in chipotle ! Loved it !
Food was good but the lady working there wasn't listening to what I wanted. Then she told me the sauce was mild but it was very spicy. Not a problem for me but definitely a problem for my pregnant wife. And the spicy I got was mild. Wife couldn't eat her lunch I had taken to her to work at hospital . Very frustrating.
I highly recommend this location. For me it is so loud it is difficult to have a conversation.
The food was pretty good. I had carryout. The white rice was my only issue. It was undercooked and crunchy. I'm thinking it's a problem with the rice cooker. Overall, good service. Everything was fresh.

We went about 7:30pm and they were busy. The staff was still very professional despite being out of some food items that customers wanted. They made sure to tell everyone that white rice was going to be about 30 minutes before ready if you were willing to wait. The staff was great about substituting items that were not available.
This good is always delicious and even if the place is busy, you still get your food pretty fast and great price for food.
Food is pretty good and service is somewhat friendly. Wife & I approached the counter together to place our orders. Wife went first, when the girl came back to my end she skipped me and took the order of the guy behind me. After we paid the receipt reflected that they charged us for the other guy's meal. Food is a lil pricier than it should be. Drinks and condiments are hidden behind a counter near the restroom.
We stopped here as we were driving through even though traffic was heavy to get in. The line was a bit long but the staff was nice. The girl doing the tortillas had her nail fall off in the white rice for my order. Luckily, she noticed it and threw all the white rice away. They did forget two of our other items but were friendly to correct it. The place was a bit dirty. Bathrooms were gross. But it’s lunch time, I can forgive that. They were slammed. Food was on par with Chipotle quality. That’s the only expectations I have for chipotle these days. Overall, good experience but that’s compared to other chipotles. I come for the food, not the cleanliness of the place.
Chipotle has been a lifesaver for me since my diet has changed, however I have to knock off significant points for the service. The employees are trying their absolute best and I don't think anything is their fault, but I have had to wait upwards of 1 hour for my online order before because it is just way too busy for the amount of employees that they have to run the store. Management and ownership need to increase the number of employees at lunch time to meet demand.
The employees barely greet you when you come in. The portions have gotten SO small! They sigh if you ask for more of something and then barely give you any extra. They are often out of guacamole 1/2 thru the day. The dining room has got to have the most uncomfortable furniture! But all in all, we love Chipotle and will surely return.
The food was good but they ran out of some items during my visit, and not to mention that the workstation that was being used to make the food orders was filthy, the staff was understaffed not enough people to run the place efficiently especially a place that is busy and the tables weren't clean.
I go here often and the employees always seem to literally hate their jobs!! Never greeted with warm friendky greeting! And they are always out of something!! I guess I will start making my own bowls .
Bad place, employees look at customers like we are aliens ,i understand making burritos all day is boring but you signed up for it thanks for my smashed ugly burrito
Arrived around 5:30pm with hardly no customers at the time and they have no brown rice so I got white rice which was not cooked right. I asked for half smoked brisket and half barbacoa and there was hardly any of that meat. The young guy serving tried scooping as much but basically gave me more juice than meat . The portion didn’t even look like a full serving . The young man serving was not very friendly at all. We witnessed at least two other couples complain about the rice as well. The trash cans were overflowing and no napkins were available at all. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat and has continuously gone down hill. People work too hard for their money to get service like this. Chipotle check your stores and educate your managers and employees on what good service is. I will say that it was mentioned they were short staffed however good preparation is needed regardless.
I’m town for work and stopped in for lunch. Got a bowl. Tasted good but was pretty short on the rice. Got 1 kinda rounded scoop of rice. When I asked for a little more I got a tip of the spoon add on. Gave 3 stars because the food tasted great and staff was nice. Picture is of my bowl after mixing everything. Haven’t eaten any of it yet. Brown rice, pinto beans, chicken, cheese, sour cream. Glad I got chips or I’d still be hungry. Maybe they’ve had issues with food costs. Not sure. Maybe it’s just an off day or something. YMMV.
No sour cream or any other sauce... Zero customer service. Out of juices and tea. Drink station disaster. Over filled trash bins people was just sitting the trash on the counters. Who managing this place. Unreal. Ill go further down 75 to the other one for now on.
I’ve always enjoyed Chipotle as a whole, but this Sherman location gets worse with every visit. I generally order thorough the app for pickup. The last three times my order was incorrect in one way or another. Service seems slow and employees don’t even seem to acknowledge you. For some reason To Go orders aren’t placed on the pickup shelves like they were in the past. I’ve waited several minutes on different occasions for an employee to notice me and hand me my order from behind the counter. The portions do seem smaller as others have mentioned, and the quality really is hit or miss. This location needs more oversight and better management.
I got chipotle on 4/6/25 roughly 12:45pm and when I got to the toppings section I said like I usually do “just a small scoop of the hot” and the person wasn’t listening and just heard hot, got a full scoop, I then said “just a little bit” and proceeded to get the full scoop poured on. Made me very sad
I’m finally saying something as I come here often to eat! I should probably own stock how much money I spend here😝 anyways I been experiencing the last few months the customer service going down hill.. when you don’t have items in the pan due to lack of turning around to grab them off the counter to replace and telling me you don’t have it’s really frustrating when I know you can go around the corner from drive thru and get or go look and get the new prepped food! Normally it’s one item they say they don’t have like queso or beans and go find or sometimes don’t and just have to do without. Today’s episode though I would have been walking out with only chicken, lettuce, shredded cheese, and pico! They had no beans, no peppers, no queso. I mean I’m already not getting rice so my salad would have been pretty plain! Thankfully someone took some time to go get the items! But being told flat out they don’t have and then just going to charge me it insane!
The Sherman location USE to be good. The last few times i went to this location, the chicken was undercooked, they were out of veggies, they needed to clean around the food options, etc. I ordered online the last couple visits. It is NOT the same experience and food portions as going into the store and standing in line. The drivethu is unorganized for it to be "online orders for pickup only" ... I ordered my usual steak burrito w white rice, corn, medium and hot salsa, cheese, and sour cream. I use to add beans but the beans were always hard because they were undercooked. I got back home (in the next town) just to open my cold burrito and see it packed with white rice, a huge glob of sour cream, and literally FOUR steak cubes. Usually, i would forget it and just be upset that i got poor food service for the ridiculous amount of money Chipotle charges for a "burrito". But, i took my burrito back through the drivethru and the young lady did remake my steak burrito...which came warm this time...and was super bland. Wow, Chipotle. What happened?
I've been eating at Chipotle restaurants for many years, since they started. I love Chipotle. However on the day that I'm writing this I had to work experience ever at this location. First of all they were moderately busy. They didn't appear to be understaffed, but I don't know what normal is on a Thursday afternoon. They had about five or six people working.That means they were about three people ahead of me. The person at the first station was very kind and did a great job. The person at the next station got slowed down somehow, and so all of the orders started stacking up, and getting cold, mine included. When I finally got to the drink and condiment station, the ice machine was empty, and the trash can was excessively overflowing (see photo) And then I went to find a table, and every single table had the previous people food scraps still on them. Everyone is having to clean off their own tables in order to have a clean place to sit. The tables had not been cleaned for some time. While I was eating I saw two employees clock out and walk right by the trash can and the dirty tables as they left. Not only that, but some kid went to fill the ice machine, which was great, but he completely ignored the overflowing trash can. This is the worst!
Was meeting friends at 7:30 and they were OUT of almost everything!!!! The counters were nasty. Looks like they haven't been cleaned in a few hours. There was more food on the counter than the serving line!! 10 people and a manager standing around. WHY????? That many people, that place should be clean and full of food!!! There was nobody cooking! Nobody restocking the food. We left. So embarrassing!! SAD! It will be awhile before we go back! Better find a manager that knows how to order food!!!!!!
The staff and presentation were great! The food was not that appetizing. Beans of any kind they offer taste like dirt, with no flavoring at all. And I would hope to be able to jazz it up with meats, but also bland. It was edible with a nice beverage, but not going to make my top 10 list. Sadly, this isn't just this location, I've tried Chipotle in numerous locations and it always hits the same, trying different things and other's recommendations.
This place makes chipotle look bad. This place never has everything in stock, the food has always had problems. I understand once or twice but we have given them countless chances and fail every time. This time it's extremely undercooked rice. It's literally crunchy. Last time the meat was over cooked. They always have something missing like salsa or vinaigrette. The kitchen always looks like a mess. Last time we went they had trays stacked to the brim in the kitchen. The restaurant needed to be wiped down and the trash cleaned up. This place needs intervention.
What is going on with this store over the last 6 months? Dirty every time. You can plan on them not having sides or chips ready. Take out orders are thrown together and rarely correct. Customer service is terrible. Not the standard of the franchise at all.
Update 3-2-25: Still the worst Chipotle I've been to and I travel extensively for work. Food everywhere all over the line. Place is trashed, trash piling out of the trash bin. The one on the other side of town is like night and day with this place. Just skip this one and head over there. This place is awful. 7 employees that i can see, 5 people in line 8 empty tables. Every table is dirty, said they don't have any trays clean when we asked for a tray to carry our food. I told one guy they were out of tea, he said ok and never left the station or so much as told anyone else. They stood talking and bagging food. Is it me or did this place fall way off the map? But hey, Food was good! Update** finished food - now 7 people in line. Not a single table has been wiped off, and I asked about tea again. Everyone talkes about an employee problem but this seems like an efficiency problem. 2 To-go workers constantly talking, the shift-lead I assume is the one on the register where she isn't able to properly delegate. A girl in back breaking down boxes and wiping down the walls while all the tables sit dirty.
I've been to this location quite a few times since I moved to this area. This Chipotle is consistently out of several ingredients anytime after 5 or 6 PM. I'm not sure if it's a management or logistics issue, but it's quite annoying since it's a repetitive issue. My advice is order thrue the app for Chipotlane pick-up since they seem to always have all the ingredients on the back line. They won't share that with the front of house guests.
Completely out of queso, shredded cheese, lettuce, and soda at 8pm on a Friday night. Service was pretty good considering how little they had. Portions were decent. Very dirty, but workers were busy. Manager in charge of ordering needs to figure it out.
I love going to Chipotle for a quick pick up for lunch, however I was meeting a friend for lunch and did a mobile order to pick up inside and my order took an extra 30 minutes over the time it said, and my friend and her children had to go elsewhere because their order was over an hour over their promised time. It was just wild, and everyone seemed overwhelmed and just focused on the line and not the mobile orders.
I am not one to usually complain but my visit requires a review. I stopped to order my food, my service was unbelievable. I received the same service last time and I thought I’d let that time slide but this time was just as bad. I had an unpleasant employee make my bowl. She kept looking behind me while I was talking and ordering my food so naturally I turn around and see what she is looking at. It turned out it was her friend who brought her a energy drink and some chips. So there is that, I got to the end of the line and the employee just slides my bowl to the register and takes her gloves off and walks to her friend at sits down at the table with him. I wasn’t even done ordering my food when she left without saying anything. So I try and say excuse me ma’am and she didn’t even acknowledge me even though we looked each other right in the eyes. So I stand in line at the register still waiting for her or another employee to help finish my order and no one came to my attention after mentioning twice I needed help. I felt awkward standing there holding up the line. Anyway I stood there for about 8-9 minutes and finally after she sat her snacks down she went back to the beginning of the line to help the next customer. I even tried to her her attention again and she walked away. A gentleman came up and asked if there was anything else I need and I just said no thank you and gave up on the rest of my order and just paid for the bowl I already had made. Anyway, I had yet another bad experience at this particular restaurant. Reviews need to be posted in order for change to be made. So here is mine.
I got a rice bowl with brown rice and they were uncooked. You can just hear the noise while chewing them and the staff didnt even gave me a proper respond after I told them about it. And they didnt have guacamole and when asked they didnt respond for that too. Horrible experience poor staff
Don’t get food from here unless you actually go in and watch them make it because they have messed up my orders every single time. Almost seems deliberate too because whenever I ask for extra of anything they put significantly less. I also got sour cream on the side and it was filled with random chunks of food and looked really gross. Edit: Just looked through other reviews and I really regret ever eating here after seeing all those pictures. 🤢 Making a mental note to never come to this location again.
20$ for a double steak bowl to go wouldn’t be unreasonable if they didn’t skimp on their portion sizes. Their scoop sizes are ridiculously small for how big the bowl is. Other locations are definitely more generous with their scoops. Nothing against the staff. I’m sure they’re just doing it the way they were shown.
Order one bowl it was 20 bucks and to make it worse wasn’t even filled half way. Ran out of chicken during lunch rush.
This location is going downhill. My daughter and I placed an order on the app for pick up. She got a steak bowl with extra rice and I got a steak bowl with extra rice, cheese and lettuce. I was extremely disappointed when we got home. I paid $30 for TWO people, one of them being 8 years old. In my bowl, I have maybe 1/4 of rice, 1/4 cup meat, and less than 1/4 of lettuce and a small sprinkle of cheese. They had forgotten my tortillas and guacamole and when I drove back around, the ladies at the drive thru window had major attitude.
I will not be coming back to this chipotle location, after telling the lady making my burrito I did not want very much of the toppings she complied until it came to the salsa in which she put more salsa than any other ingredient. When I asked for a remake they got the manager Brandon who rudely stated I watched them make the burrito, as if I was supposed to tell her to take off the pile of salsa, I told him the outside of the burrito was slimy which grossed me out from so much salsa. He tried telling me it was the barbacoa after I watched how much salsa she put on there, and the barbacoa was incredibly dry, I get the same thing every time so I could tell it was not normal. Everyone was incredibly rude and they tried charging me for a remake. I’ve come to this location many times but have never had such awful service. Definitely don’t come here if you like the burrito your way.
This is the 2nd time I am leaving a review because I am fed up!!!! The girl at the cash register is very unwelcoming and gives me rude looks the entire time. She doesn’t smile and always seems unhappy. I got 2 bowls and one was supposed to have salsa in it, when I told them 3 scoops of salsa in 1 bowl, wouldn’t you think they would ask you which bowl? They tried telling me that they would still have to charge me. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! It was not my fault they messed it up when they could have very easily asked which bowl. The girl at the cash register came over and started having an attitude right off the bat and when I said it needed to be remade, of course she threw it away aggressively and started giving death glares. When I got done paying for my food she walked off and I had to reach to get my food instead of her simply handing it to me. FYI to anyone who complains about the portion sizes**** if you want bigger portions tell them to put more in the bowl!!! I always decide to go inside to order because ordering online they will give you kids meal portions for a $20 bowl! It is quite ridiculous!!!! I want this girl fired!!!! She is so disrespectful!!!! Not to mention every time I get home to eat (I only live 5 minutes away) ITS ALWAYS COLD NEVER EVEN LUKEWARM
I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Chipotle recently that left a sour taste in my mouth—quite literally. I placed an online order and arrived at the pick-up location a mere four minutes early, hoping to brighten my day with a delicious meal. Instead, I was met with hostility from the employee, who screamed at me for my early arrival. I understand that we all have our bad days, but I was taken aback by her unprofessional tone and attitude. I had been looking forward to this meal as a small pick-me-up, but her reaction completely ruined that for me. I politely asked if she could cancel my order, given the unpleasant interaction, but she told me it wasn't her responsibility to do so and insisted I handle it myself. What should have been a simple and enjoyable experience turned into an absolute nightmare. It’s unfortunate that one person’s attitude can impact a customer’s day so negatively. I hope this situation is addressed so future customers can enjoy their meals without unnecessary stress.
Did an online order and went through the drive through to pick it up. Sat there while the 2 girls inside talked to each other and didn't pay attention. Once they finally finished talking one of them came over and asked for my name. They finished making my order and handed it to me. I checked the bag and was missing items so I sat there and waited while they just talked to each other and didn't pay attention. I finally honked for one of them to come get the things I was missing.
It’s always really dirty and they are always out of the good stuff like fajita veggies and guacamole. The new location is AWESOME, so just go to the other location if you are in Sherman and want Chipotle!
What happened to this place? New management? I came in today and when I got the the line they were out of chicken… cool. So I’m a patient person, and they were cutting up the chicken. So I told the first woman I don’t mind waiting, and she set the bowls on the prep counter to wait. The second woman was very rude. She got my bowls and asked if they were for me, I said yes. I asked if I could get extra chicken and she proceeded to roll her eyes, throw an attitude and toss our bowls onto the counter behind her. Also made comments to the dude on the grill. I miss when this place had good quality food and good workers. What a shame.
We LOVE the Greenville location so we stopped here while passing through 12/8/2023 around 6:45/7:00. The crew was awful. I asked the guy at the start of the line to split my bowl into two different bowls and he said sure. When I get to the next girl I realize he didn’t do it. I wasn’t upset yet and tried to fix it then. I asked the girl at the finishing area if she would split it since the first guy didn’t (in a nice way) and he walks over and cuts me off and tells me that I should have explained it that way the first time even though I didn’t say anything different. It wouldn’t make sense for me to ask for it in two separate bowls if I just wanted an extra empty bowl underneath.. Anyway, It still wasn’t a big deal but ultimately nothing was done about it and the second girl didn’t do it either. I ended up just saying it was fine so I could get out of there as fast a possible because I was getting upset. We will NEVER return to the Sherman location. Especially after reading all of the other reviews. I hope everyone on that shift has a horrible night (:
I usually love this place, but things have changed! I watched us almost get backed into by a diesel doing construction concrete demo work here. Then, the other construction worker supposedly helping the other back out was very rude and obnoxious. These guys acted like we, the customers, were in their way. They should have not done this job during business hours if they can't be courteous and respectful to customer's coming in and out while working. Also, Chipotle should not hire them unless they know that their customers won't be affected and disrespected! Upon going inside I noticed that the employees didn't really care to be nice, smile, or help anyone out either. Tables were dirty. Some employees were on phones. Some employees had no gloves on while serving food. Just overall very very dirty place! It looks like everyone decided to be dirty since construction concrete work was taking place outside. Not sure when and if I return. Looked like a bunch of kids hanging out.....that is who is getting paid to help safely feed you!
If there was a way to give a negative rating I would. This store is filthy every time I come in. I keep hoping it will be better than the last time, but it’s always worse. Trash cans are spilling over. Drink station is a mess. No utensils. Work station where food is served is a mess. No steak available. Out of peppers. Floors have trash all over. Tables are dirty. Then 3 employees are leaving their shifts while there’s still such a mess everywhere!
Despite saying they open at 10:45am, we were not allowed in the restaurant until over 10 minutes later. Even after being let it, not all food products were ready and the dining area was mostly unprepared. Both bathrooms had clearly not been cleaned recently as evident by the streaks in the toilet bowl and the disgusting smells. While ordering, all proportions were half sized even compared to other Chipotles. Overall experience was awful.
The worst ran establishment in North Texas for 5 years and counting. The staff is always terrible, the whole restaurant disgusting and dirty (even when they are not busy), we rarely visit when they are not out of at least 1 thing we want, with zero plans to cook more. Sometimes also out of silverware, with not resolution besides to tell customers who just ordered a bowl that they have nothing to eat it with. I truly cannot believe corporate has not shut down this location. It’s absolutely horrible.
This is the worst Chipotle. I thought it was me at first because they didn't have what I wanted the first few times but after reading some of the other reviews I understand. The employees slop things down carelessly into your order. The drink station was a mess. The catch tray was overflowing with ice to the point that there was ice in the floor. The water tap was stuck in the on position just flowing into the drain. The lemonade fountains are riddled with small black stains of what I can only imagine to be mold. This location could certainly use a visit from headquarters and a restructuring of management because what they got going ain't working. Even heard an employee joking about getting a raise, to which the manager replied "You just need to come to work more but that ain't happening because you're a slacker."
The online order was very poorly prepared. We ordered three kid meals and two adult meals. All three kids meals were missing the fruit and one was also missing the vegetables. One adult meal was missing the meat and and sour cream was incorrectly added and then removed (remnants of sour cream were left).
Went here and walked in and walked out. Place was nasty. Tables dirty and no food. This was at 4:40 on the evening.
Went in to order food around 1:30pm today waited in line for over 20 minutes & when I finally arrived at the front where the employee asked me my order I was told they are currently out of chicken & steak completely. I have travelled the to many states & have been to well over 50 different chipotle locations across many cities & not once have I ever seen such a poorly & mismanaged location in my life. The manager on duty an older white lady with brownish hair l. was chewing out & yelling at a poor employee while as was waiting in line & heat the manager seemingly doesn’t know how to do her job right & keep the employee on the grill to cook meat at the right times. This location needs to be evaluated.
Should’ve read the reviews first before being foolish enough to order pick up for lunch on a Saturday. After our pick up time came and went I finally asked an employee who retrieved it from the back. Our quesadillas were cold, burrito bowl was pitiful, only about 1/4 full with barely any chicken and our steak burrito was folded like someone seeking vengeance, the first half was guac and sour cream and the second half was hot sauce rice, only two small pieces of steak in the whole thing and hardly any beans. Super gross. We tried calling to talk to the manager and were routed to corporate who gave us credit for new meals. Not sure whats going on at this place but it sucks to spend so much for food and have it be badly made.
Ordered online for pickup at 730. Then proceeded to watch people stand in line get food and eat while I'm still just waiting. Now 745. Already gave employee our name. Just ridiculous

Went there with the family this evening. Food portion was off. My nephew ate his burrito and I had to buy another foo him because he was still hungry!? It’s crazy because normally we could never eat all of their giant burritos. Also guacamole and sour cream was runny. I was disappointed to say the least.
Chipotle is great, but do not come here if you want Chipotle. Asked for steak and when they didn't have it they gave me chicken without even asking. I said I didn't want that so he tossed (very anger for whatever reason) and restarted. I got (and I do not joke) have a scoop of beans and 3 pieces of Barbacoca. Asked if that was all the meat I am getting (I even asked for double) was told "yeah". Sour cream literally covered the whole thing and a dash of cheese with an extreme amount of lettuce. At the counter, I asked for vinaigrette... of course they don't have. We also got to wait at checkout for a while. Wanna say the food was good at least... nope, the meat taste awful. It was trashed. Save your time and head over the Wendy's next door.
Orders are never ready when you get there. Usually they haven't even started them yet. This store is horrible.
I’m a regular Chipotle customer at many locations as I travel quite often. I have never felt inclined to write a bad review of any Chipotle- actually I’ve never written a negative review of any restaurant chain. However, this location in Sherman consistently does not have the fajita veggies (onion, bell pepper etc). The dining area looks like it never gets cleaned by staff. But that’s no surprise as it usually appears to be under staffed. Today was the last straw. I pulled on off the highway with my wife to grab lunch, and SURPRISE!!! No fajita veggies again. After waiting in line to place our order only find that they don’t have a basic staple available AGAIN, I left the store and went over to the Firehouse Subs location nearby. I’ll make sure I stop at any other Chipotle location except this one in the future.
Wow! All I can say is Johanna is the worst manager I have possibly ever seen. I feel bad for the employees that have to endure this sorry excuse of a leader. I witness this person literally hand a whole pan of chicken to three customers in the drive thru and when I asked if they had any more she got a huge additude and attacked me verbally saying I wasn't the only customer. Horrible service and terible manager very sad even for the days we are in now. Then...then... to have the nerve to tell the gentleman to watch the portions he was giving us. Seriously. No. His portions were right on target.
Suggest an edit to the hours. Says opens at 10:45am we waited until 10:55am while employees watched us and two other families through the windows without any explanation for delayed opening.
Service keeps getting worse and worse at this location. Put an order in on the app and it was 20 min after the pickup time that my order was ready. I only ordered chips and queso. The restaurant is always dirty, they ran out of all rice and half the meats. I will be going to the other Sherman location from now on.
I love Chipotle but honestly wish this location would shut down until it has a team with REAL management and workers that understand customer service. For the past year, every single visit to this location blows my mind by how terrible the experience is. For example, they are out of something or EVERYTHING almost every time no matter what time it is. One time there was a line of customers waiting for food to be made while getting a show of the female manager (Jo) yelling at the employees and slamming pans and knives. you will NOT get what you paid for at this Chipotle.
This was actually the worst food I’ve ever had from Chipotle, I spent 20 dollars , just for my rice to be soggy and filled with no flavor , chicken past the signature chipotle char it actually was burnt and I paid for double a complete waste of time I literally waited all day and was so excited just for this now I have to go pay for a different meal because the one provided was sub par , no greeting when I walked in , music set a mummer felt, house berry Fresca watered down
Wow. This was one of the worst experiences at this location. The MOD tonight....attitude for no reason. Clearly there was not enough food prepared ahead of time and they ran out. When asked if there is any more - MOD.. nope and there will not be more with tude. I get everyone has a bad day, a rough shift, but come on. Uncalled for.
The water from the fountain drink machine tastes like it hasn’t been cleaned in 2 years. Also the sign says they at 10:45 AM and it’s 10:50 and the doors are still locked with people waiting outside the door and we’re all waiting for them to open up the store. Punctuality is important so if it says your open, make sure your ready to serve at the time you state your open.
This is the 3rd time I've been in this establishment and they have been out of the majority of the food. Today they only had chicken, brown rice, Pico, cheese, lettuce and guacamole and it was 10 minutes til noon! They were not at all prepared for the lunch hour.
trash meat, many bites of cartilage, few pieces of onion skin, rice wasnt cooked , soft outside crunchy inside. recieved a bowl full of scrap food my dog didnt even eat.
They said they run out of ingredients around 9 PM so don’t ever go after 9 PM—by their own statement. I was there at 9:10 today and they were out of half the stuff, said the would not be getting anymore. Said it happens every day. Go to Canes or Panda or Chic Fil A. They have food late. This chipotle said they’re done at about 9 PM.
This location is always a bad experience. Usually out of something on their food line. Restaurant is always dirty. Staff no personality and sometimes even rude like this evening. It’s a shame. When in Sherman, visit their other location off 75.
I usually LOVE this chipotle but on saturday me and my family visited this location because we had been craving it for weeks.We get there and its not packed so we decide to dine-in since we’ve never done that before and had some time to kill,we get in line and wait to be served and once we get attended this young dark skinned girl who appeared to be older teen young 20’s was serving the food and had the worst attitude no smile or greeting she was just mean mugging everyone in her sight and i understand if she was having a bad day but she was straight up slamming and throwing things and i don’t think that was very professional of her to be doing that in the presence of multiple customers.She then Proceeds to go to the back to make a quesadilla, and takes a long time, but then comes back with a Hispanic guy who seemed to be very sweet and despise the line building up he had a smile glued to his face, and was asking customers including me how their day was, and if they were going to be dining in or having it to go, which the girl previous did not do any of those things. Then, when all of my family was done ordering, we go to the checkout and there was this light skin white girl that appeared to have red hair who also had a really bad attitude and gave me a snarky response whenever I had made a mistake about wanting to redeem a large queso, but it was regular, which I was nice about,and said sorry i thought it was large but she just had to be rude about it and say it was a regular Practically yelling in my face. I ignore it and go sit down with the rest of my family to eat and glance over to the line and see the two girls laughing with eachother while serving customers which made me feel annoyed and uncomfortable and ruined my whole experience i was really excited about.
One of the worst experiences I have had in a restaurant. I haven't eaten Chipotle in years. They were out of their carne asada, red chimichuri, steak, coke , and ice. My daughter added extra protein in her burrito and when he was trying to wrap it he spilles half of it out every where. They had a pan of steak over by the grill but didn't want to get it from the grill man until he finished filling it up, so we waited while he cooked two more steaks and cut them up and then they gave me steak. Why not just let me wait until you finish some carne asada if you are going to make me step out of line while and wait on steak while you serve 5 other patrons. Then finally we received our food. My daughter's had been waiting there on the counter for 5 minutes while I waited and no one offered to let me pay for her. They were very confused and apparently hadn't been trained to try and take care of the customer. No apologies no attempts to help with anything. All the guests are unhappy. I was being friendly, just laughed because they were so unfriendly. Then I paid $47 for two meals and some queso, what a ripoff. Then went to get my drink out of ice and out of coke. I let them know. No apologies, just "we are out of Coke". Didn't stick the ice. Finally we get around to eating. Hey it tasted pretty good! I will probably never eat Chipotle again. I wish I would have gone somewhere else for dinner with my daughter.
I will never be back. Cut down portions so much it's not even a quarter of what it used to be. I would go here two times a week. Never again, why should I waste my money? It was worth it at $20. Now it's not even worth $10.
I've never been to a more negligent place. As I was getting an order an elderly woman was in front of me and asked for a sample cup of beans, and when she got them she ran her finger through them to taste them then placed the cup back. Right as I was getting my order, the worker serving me dumped the sample cup - which had had an old woman's finger through it, back into the bigger tub of beans without a second thought and I assumed thought I didn't see? Horribly disgusting, negligent and from other reviews I highly doubt this is the first time. What the actual hell? Who does that? Would you eat a piece of turkey from subway with a bite taken out of it? It was maybe 3 beans and somehow thats worth saving money on and contaminating us with some other customer's nasty fingers.
I can count on one hand the amount of times I have taken the time to write a review. My experience was so bad today that I am taking the time to write a review, and despite living on this side of town, I will from now on be driving all the way across town to go to the other Chipotle location when I want it. I placed a mobile order because quesadillas are only available with online orders. My phone said it would be ready at 5:20 PM. That time rolls around, it says my order is delayed and won't be ready on time. No problem, I go run some errands to wait until the app tells me the order is ready for pickup. About 15 minutes later, it is marked ready for pickup. Sweet! I go to the store to pick it up. I go up to the cashier, as I have been instructed to do on a prior visit by the store's staff, to tell them I have a mobile pickup. The cashier pretends not to see me and I have to get HER attention to ask about my order. Without even going to check, she says "I think they're working on it." Okay, no problem, I'll wait a few minutes. 30 minutes go by, people come and go and get their orders, I ask again, "Are you sure they have my order? It's been 40 minutes since my pickup time. If it's not ready at this point, I'd like to cancel because I'm really hungry and getting off a 12 hour work day." Another employee chimes in that they are really backed up due to a fundraiser and have "like 30 orders" back there, insinuating that I need to be more patient. I've been waiting almost an hour. I just wanted to cancel. A few minutes later, she says "They're just getting to the 5:50 PM orders, so your order should be out soon." I told her my order was for 5:20 PM and she looked shocked and then suddenly within 10 seconds they had "just completed my order" (it was marked complete 30 minutes prior to this). And to top it all off, it was not complete because my rice and drink were missing. I don't know how the mobile order system works on their end, but orders should not be marked as ready for pickup if they are NOT ready for pickup. Wasted an hour of my already extremely long day. I understand being busy and having a crazy rush, but just be honest when orders aren't ready so I can cancel instead of wasting my time. Customer service needs a major rehaul here.
Very horrible service! 2nd bad experience here! I stood in line for 20 minutes only to get to the counter and have the ingredients out of stock. The poor girl working up front had ZERO help from the manager as a line formed to the door. The cook was standing around refilling her drink while ingredients were out. The manger was in the back, I assume getting online orders, but was standing around doing nothing when she could’ve been helping in front. Walked out of the store after waiting because they were out of what I had wanted.
This review is for the chipotle by the town center in Sherman, Texas. The server was rude. It was my first time there when I got home. The bag busted from the bottom took my order back. The manager said I got the bag wet. I told her I was a passenger in the car and the sax was on my lap. Does my lap look wet She said well you can go back in line and I’ll replace your order. I will never order from them again.
Gross location. The food was as expected but we stood at the register for a solid 10 minutes before someone came to take my money. No one apologized for the wait or seemed to care at all. The trash was stacked up on top of the trash area and there were dirty dishes piled up 5-7 pans deep all along the counter behind the service line. We went at 3 PM. There were only 2 people ahead of us and one behind. One other couple were in there eating so, they weren’t too slammed to clean up.
I love chipotle, this location needs a new team! ASAP! The last couple visits I’ve made to this specific location was very dissatisfying and disappointing and very unsanitary. We did mention to the staff that the place was very unsanitary and was ignored that’s fine, wasn’t trying to make a scene. The food didn’t taste great. Out of rice and was told it would be 30 min wait. I settled with brown rice. The attitude of the staff was very rude on one visit. To me It felt like we can’t ask questions. I hope this place gets new management and staff that wants to serve the community and the people that eat chipotle everyday! See photo of how unsanitary and disgusting this place looked. I also want to add that this was a weekday and nobody was there except for 3-4 people. That’s not normal for chipotle. Especially on lunch hour. I’ve tried contacting the “owner” and apparently they want a receipt from a month ago… from the last time I came here. Listen I don’t have your receipt. Nor the disgusting food you guys are serving. Clean this place up and hire better staff that actually want to work at chipotle. Not these young people that can’t even cook at home. I just heard this exact place JUST HAD FOOD POISENING!!! DO NOT COME TO THIS CHIPOTLE WITH YOUR KIDS OR DATES?!
This is the worst Chipotle I’ve been to in a while. They mix together the crusty old bits of sofrita when they bring out the new sofritas. Place feels unhygienic. The bathrooms smell foul and make you want to throw up. The fountain drink station is contaminated and needs to be cleaned or inspected. The water tastes like plastic and is extremely offputting. What a terrible and disappointing Chipotle. The burrito was disappointing and soggy, super gross and inedible. It was disgusting. Couldn’t even eat it.. $30 for just a burrito and a bowl! Not worth it at all. Also I had to throw away my bowl after eating a few bites since there was cheese contamination in my guac that made my stomach hurt…
1/28/2024. If you are person who read the reviews and check out the place to eat then you are in the right place. Please read it thoroughly. I think the employees here are train to portion control for what we pay, we get too less or the employees are too greedy to give food. They usually use half scoop of everything if you are ordering for bowl, they give you so so less than what you actually paid it for. The girl who was serving I saw her putting the steak half scoop literally 3-5 pcs of steak, really are you kidding, I asked her the reason for why one bowl has more steak and one bowl has few then she go ahead and put more. On putting guacamole they literally put 1 table spoon portion I looked at the employee and told him is that what I get for paying $2.70 for guacamole and then he add it more after I give him a serious look. they don’t have spoon and fork every person have to go front and ask for fork. The tables are very dirty. Napkins are on the floor everywhere. The food table is not clean after customers leaves. There was lot of food pieces leftover on table. They don’t change trash at a time( as you can see in the attached picture) I highly not recommend this place and this is a serious query for a chipotle corporate to come this place and inspect their quality standard and fine them. Maybe you can take back your franchise if they don’t meet the standards. Restroom are very dirty and employees are pretty rude. the manager should know this and be fully aware of their business. Go somewhere else if you are planning to stop by here and eat. See pictures it speaks volume.
This Chipotle it’s a complete mess, it’s extremely dirty. Not sure how they keep their business licenses approved or renewed. All the tables where dirty, the floor looked like it hadn’t been clean in years, the men’s bathrooms NOT working, and the young girl that tried to clean the tables would just spill everything to the floors, never saw her spray the the tables or counters with any cleaning supplies, never wash the wet towel after cleaning parts of the floor and back to the tables, it was just disgusting. The metal are not cleaned or disinfected, they just grab them from the trash area and put them back under the register 😯
